The next day is superhero day. Daah, wearing a Catwoman suit, sits by the fountain. "I had no idea the cotton ball brings out a dark past. However, I need it to stay so he can come back." Ash sits in class wearing a Dr. Strange costume. "Wow. I had no idea about Dexter. I'm glad he let it out." "Me too," Sangharsh said. "Shut up!" Ash shouts as Allison, dressed as the Scarlet Witch, enters the room. "Ash?" Ash looks up as Sangharsh giggles. "Allison? Whoa! You look hot!" Allison walks over and kisses him. "I wonder what marvel fans would think of this kiss?" Ash giggles as Sanaharsh growls. Daah walks into class and sees the couple flirting. "They're happy, and he's-" Daah stops and sits in her seat. Allison looks up and sees Daah. "Meow! No wonder Batman can't handle you. You look sexy." "Thanks. Not my style, but it's spirit week," Daah said. Sangarsh looks at Daah and smiles. "She looks, but Allison can cast a spell on me any day." Ash glares at Sangharsh. "Go away!" "Nope," Sangharsh taunts.
Meanwhile, Aelita and Jeremy, dressed as Antman and the Wasp, sit in the psychic lab (a classroom devoted to psychic powers) and think about the living nightmares they had. "Both of our experiences had to do with XANA," Jeremy said. "It felt real. I was brought back to the moment XANA came alive," Aelits said. "I was too. I thought I was going to die." "I'm worried. You went to see Lady Thanda, who gave you all a test. What about Odd, me, Brock, and Dexter? Was it the cotton ball and the Jumbie?" "I think so. But why?" Aelita sighs. "I wish I knew. I wish we still had the cotton ball. Someone took it and placed it back in the fountain; now it has sprouted roots and vines all over the school." Jeremy thinks. "My gut tells me this is linked to Sangharsh's memorial." "Why?" "It was when Apin was sucked into the fountain." "I agree. We need to speak with him again." "About what?" Apin (Static) asks as he walks into the lab.
Yumi, dressed as Black Widow, sits by the fountain and looks at it. She takes out her Inferno Ball and places it near the water's edge. "What can you tell me?" She sees a woman with long red hair, black eyes, and peach skin. She laughs as she cradles a student in her arms. As Yumi tries to see who the student is, Dean Kathin, dressed as Namor, walks up to Yumi. "Yasmin! What are you doing?" Yumi is caught off guard and drops her Inferno Ball. She scoops it up but feels a slight sting from the water. "Sorry, sir," Yumi said. "Yasmin. Why are you snooping around the Aatma Phavvaara?" "I sensed something, sir." Dean Kathin gets close to her face. "I told you, heirs, stay out of it!" "Sir, with all due respect, some students have been attacked by the Spirit Fountain, and others have seen dark hallucinations." "Listen to me! Leave it. You want to be a pain during the last few months here!" Ulrich as Hawkeye walks up and sees the confrontation. "Excuse me, sir. Headmaster Chidh is looking for you. He wants to go river the line order for Friday." "Yes. Thank you, Utanka. Now, excuse me!" Dean Kathin leaves. "What the fuck?" Ulrich asks. "He is getting on my nerves," Yumi said. "Did you Inferno Ball see anything?" "The jumbie cradling a student." "Who?" "Dean SOB scared me, and I dropped it." "That can't be good?" "It still works, but the connection is broken." "For now, we should go to class. We have a pop quiz." "I knew it. It is in District Laws, right?" "Right!" The couple laughs as the fountain bubbles. Ulrich looks as he notices his father. "Disgrace," Walter said. Ulrich squeezes Yumi's hand. "It's okay," she said.
Rosé enters class as Batgirl and sees Allison talking to Ash and Daah. "Good morning! I hope the day is spirit free!" "Nope, but hopefully, the spirits are nice," Ash said. The group chuckles. The teacher arrives and begins the class. During class, Daah thinks about Sangharsh, as does Ash. Sangharsh gently touches Allison's hair, but she doesn't notice. Ash uses his wand to push Sangharsh away. After class, Rosé chats with Allison. "Are you okay after the day at Lady Thanda's?" "I was until yesterday. I mean, she is not here, so what? Are the two events related?" "I don't so. I haven't felt that way about my dad in a long time." "Your dad?" "Right. I didn't tell you. My dad wanted a son and was upset when I was born. Also, given that I was a brat last year, it was stressful. Everything is good now, but I thought it was real." "I'm sorry. I don't know what to say." "It's okay. I don't want to discuss when I was sucked into the fountain." "Speaking of the fountain," Ash said. "Apin is trying to remember more about the jumbie he encountered with." "Let's go," Allison said. Daah follows closely.
After class, Apin tells his tale to Aelita and Jeremy. "It was weird, she was trying to cradle me, but she couldn't, then she said she wanted to keep me because she's coming." Coming? When?" Jeremy asks. "I don't know," Apin said. As they chat, the classroom's cauldron starts to bubble. A piece of the cotton vine fell into it, turning the bubbles black. Apin notices the bubbles and freaks out. "I hate bubbles," he said. The bubbles grew bigger and bigger as they started to pop, and sparks began to appear. "The Jumbie is working tonight!" "Apin, calm down," Aelita said. She takes out her sword and starts to pop the bubbles, but she gets trapped in a bubble. "Help!" "Pixie-Pie," Jeremy said, using his sword to pop some bubbles. Apin takes out his wand and recites a spell. "Barph crash!" The attacks start breaking more bubbles, and Aelita is free. "Thanks, but look out!" Aelita said. Apin turns around, and a giant bubble appears with a menacing face. "Gulp!" Apin said.
After class, Ulrich still sees his father around. "Disgrace!" "Leave me," Ulrich said. "Are you okay?" Yumi asks. "Shame!" Walter said. "I am not!" Ulrich shouts. "Ulrich!" Yumi calls out. "I'm going to get you," Hiroki said. "Hiroki?" Yumi asks. "I won't escape my faith. I will come for you." "Hiroki. What are you talking about?" Hiroki holds a black bubble. "You thought you had gotten rid of her hold on me. I will come for you when I am older." "No," Yumi said. "No, you won't. Hiroki, we got past this." "Did we?" Hiroki asks as he throws a ball at his sister. Sajin (Green Lantern) looks at his friends. "What is going on?" "I don't know, but you have bigger problems," Malik said. "Father?" Sajin asks. "You're dead." "But such a shame that you are letting a jumbie control you!" "You don't mean that!" "I do! You are a shame. Like your friend, Utanka!" "Stop. You're not real. My father is not a jerk," Sajin said. "How about a fight?" Malik asks as he takes out a flame sword. Ulrich runs away from his father. "Leave me alone," Ulrich said. "Please, I want to punish the disgrace out of you," Walter said. "I will come after you. Maybe I should blow you up now; I don't want to wait until your wedding," Hiroki said. "Stop, please," Yumi said. The trio all run into the main lobby of Adventures, where the fountain is. Sajin is fighting his father. "Stop, father," Sajin said. Devon appears and notices that his brother and his friends are in a black fog. "What is going on?" Devon takes out his sword and approaches the group when a force pushes him away. "Now, I need to push through." As Devon fights on, Yumi attacks her brother. "Star Inferno Marker," Yumi shouts. "Miss me!" Hiroki taunts. Ulrich struggles with his father as Walter tries to push Ulrich into the fountain. "Disgrace and a loser!" "This is why mom is stressed. You're a tyrant!" Ulrich said. Cressila and Brock (Storm and Black Panther) walk by and sees the chaos. "Is that what you went through?" Cressila asks. "Yeah. However, looking on from the outside is scary," Brock said. They take out their swords and help Devon push through the force. As they go through, Sajin is thrown into the fountain. "Sajin!" Devon cries out. He runs toward the fountain and jumps in. "We need to reach Ulrich and Yumi to break them from the living nightmare," Brock said. Cressila agrees.
Ash, Allison, and Rosé arrive at the psychic lab and sees witness all of the bubbles. "Deadly bubble party," Ash said. "Help!" Apin, Aelita, and Jeremy cry out. Ash takes out his sword to pop the bubbles, but his Winged Heart glows and aims for the cauldron. Meanwhile, Allison and Rosé work together to get to the trio. "Almost there," Allison said. Rosé and Apin both see Kaante. "I'm coming!" "Rosé! It's okay," Allison said. Rosé and Apin continue to scream. Daah arrives and takes out her sword. "Leave them alone," she shouts as she pops many bubbles. Allison follows suit. Ash sees that the cauldron is the source of the bubbles and has a cotton vine attached to it. He places his right hand on the cauldron as his Winged Heart glows. "Please, spare my friends." Ash's aura connects with the fountain briefly, and Daah feels a sharp pain. Devon sees a blue light and touches it, and he pulls Sajin out of the fountain as Yumi and Ulrich collapse into Cressila and Brock's arms. The lab is cleared of bubbles, and Rosé and Apin are calmed down. "She is still coming!" Apin said. "Thank you," Aelita said. "It wasn't us; it was Ash," Allison said. "Me. All I did was used my Winged Heart to channel my magic to stop the cauldron," Ash said. Daah felt a sharp pain in her heart. "What happened?" she asks herself.
After school, Dawn (Mystic), Odd (Captain America), Hiroshima (Hawkgirl), and Alexis (Wakanda Warrior) are all caught up. "What is going on? Why us?" Odd asks. "After speaking with Apin, it all connects with Sangharsh," Jeremy said. "We don't think it's his spirit. However, someone connected to him placed the cotton ball to connect with and is unleashing the jumbie," Aelita said. "Well, does sprinkling the petals still work?" Rosé asks. "Yes. I spoke to Arch Prime Jason's wife. She agrees with it," Allison said. Dawn paces. "That means that Cressila, Alexis, and I are next," Dawn said. "No need to worry. Since we know we are next, we can prepare," Alexis said. "We can't prepare for everything, and it feels real," Cressila said. "We all have to stay guarded. There is no telling what the plan is for you three," Brock said. "I agree," Ulrich said. Hiroshima remembers her living nightmare and can still see her parents and her inner demon. "Are you okay?" Allison asks. "Yeah. I don't want to talk about it." Allison hugs Hiroshima. "It's okay." Ulrich takes a phone call from his father. "Hey, dad," Ulrich said. "Hey, your swag package arrived. Everything looks great. I'm proud of you," Walter said. "I love you, dad," Ulrich said. "I love you, too. Also, your mother is feeling much better. She had that mini bug that everyone had," Ulrich smiles. Devon hugs Sajin tight. "You can let me go," Sajin said. "Nope. We're all mom has. We have to make it," Devon said.
The next day is Space day, and everyone dresses up in galactic attire. Dawn walks by the fountain and sees her image in it. "Hold on, that is weird," she said. Then she sees Plusle and Minun growling. "Do Jeremy and Aelita know you are here?" Dawn asks. The Pokemon attacked her. "Eat you,' the Pokemon said. Dawn screams and runs. "Dawn?" Odd calls out. Odd sees black fog around Dawn. "Oh no," he said as he chased her.
