*Chapter 6: Olympus Coliseum: Part I: Training*

Amikai is wiping her Keyblade with a cloth while Donald is piloting the Gummi Ship. After Wonderland, Amikai had so many questions. What was that keyhole? Did it mean anything? If only she could ask Leon since he knows about the Keyblade. Amikai still has so much to learn. She needs time to learn about becoming the master.

"Hey Amikai. You doing okay?" Moro asked, coming down. "We've found another world!"

"Oh? What is it?" Amikai asked.

"Looks like some coliseum. Get ready." Moro replied before returning upstairs. Amikai sighed a bit and brought her Keyblade. Time for another world to visit and possibly fight more Heartless. Pepper remains on Amikai's bed to rest, knowing that he will stay in the ship.

*Olympus Coliseum*

In the town called Town of Thebus, Amikai and others look around and see the busy streets. Moro recently talked to one of the citizens about training to help Amikai out with mastering her Keyblade. Many said they must go to the coliseum and talk to Phil. He's a trainer of all heroes. Sounds promising. But first, they must sign up for the games.
The group walked through the coliseum gates and looked around in awe. Across the gates are the entrance to the lobby. This Phil guy could be in there.

"You think Phil is going to train us to become stronger?" Goofy asked.

"It could help. We need some strength in us. Amikai needs to master her skills with the Keyblade." Moro replied.

"Yeah. And we could be the new heroes!" Donald spoke with a smile.

"Hero..." Amikai murmured to herself as she walked up the stone steps. "I am becoming one since the Keyblade chose me." She pushed the doors open as her friends followed close behind.
The old Satyr is putting up the rules on the stone wall as Moro, Donald, Goofy, and Amikai walked in the lobby. Moro reached out for the Satyr, asking if he is Phil people are referring to.

"Umm, are you-"

"Good timing. Look, do me a favor would ya? Move that pedestal over there for me." The old Satyr spoke, not even turning around as he spoke. "I gotta spruce this place up for the games." Amikai looked over the pedestal. It looks too heavy for her or anyone else to move. She walked up to the old half-man, half-goat.

"But it looks too heavy." She said.

"What? Too heavy? Since when have you been such a little-" The Satyr paused as he turned around to see two teenagers and Donald and Goofy there. "Oh. Thought you were somebody else. What're you kids doing here?"

"Um, are you Phil? The trainer of heroes?" Moro asked.

"Who wants to know, kid?" The Satyr, Phil, asked. He jumped down and walked up towards him with a look. "This here's the world-famous coliseum...heroes only!" Moro backed away from him. "And I got my hands full preparing for the games. So, run along, pip-squeaks." Amikai gave him a glare.

"We're here to sign up." She told him. Phil turned to her.

"Oh? You want to sign up for the games, cupcake? Look, it's like this. Heroes are coming from all over to fight ferocious monsters right here in the coliseum. Not damsels who think they could fight them." He said. Donald crossed his arms.

"You got heroes standing right in front of you." He said. Goofy placed his hands on Amikai's shoulders.

"Yep. And she's a real hero chosen by the Keyblade!" He said with a smile. Amikai couldn't help but to grin at this.

"And we're heroes too!" Donald finished. Phil smirked, staring at Amikai.

"Hero? That one? You've gotta be kidding me!" He began to laugh. Amikai frowned but furrowed her brows at him. "And I thought this runt right here could be the hero!" Phil said as he pointed Moro behind him.

"I'm a hero too!" Moro spoke. "And we fought a bunch of monsters!" Phil laughed more. He didn't believe them.

"That's a good one! You two kids the heroes?! Ha!" He laughed, holding his stomach. Amikai got her Keyblade out.

"We can prove it! Just sign us up!" She spoke as Phil ceased his laughter. He wiped a tear away from his eye.

"Alright, before you rookies sign up, you gotta show me what you are made of. Let's see what you can do."

Amikai and the others are in the coliseum and see some wooden monsters with targets on them. Phil is sitting on the seat with a whistle. He really didn't want to train these guys, but he must in order to shut them up. Especially Amikai. He can't believe a girl like her could sign up. But Phil was also intrigued by the Keyblade of hers.

"Alright you rookies, aim for those targets! Rule 95: Concentrate! And Rule 96: Aim!" He told them before he blows the whistle. Amikai aims her Keyblade at her own targets and uses Firaga. Moro got his sword to slash the wooden targets while Donald and Goofy do the same with their weapons. Amikai rushed towards the medium target and swung her Keyblade to slash it in two. Phil watched every move they got. He got out more targets and it's rinse and repeat.
Amikai threw her Keyblade to use Strike Raid and hit every single target.

"Not bad, Amikai!" Moro praised, bringing his sword over his shoulder. Amikai grinned at him.

"Not bad at all." Phil called out, walking over to them.

"Well? Are we going to be in the games?" Donald asked.

"Yeah. Told you we can-" Amikai was cut off when Phil crossed his arms and interrupted her.

"Afraid not."

"What?" Donald and Goofy asked.

"Why not?" Moro asked in disbelief. Amikai was dumbfounded. What else did Phil want?

"Two words: You guys ain't heroes!" Phil told them. "Now, get out of here!" He walked away.

"Are you serious?" Amikai called out.

"Those are four words." Goofy said to himself.

"Ah phooey!" Donald grumbled.

"What a waste of time." Moro said. "I guess we should go. There's nothing for us here." Amikai made a look and kicked the piece of wood away and sat on the seat. Moro walked over to her. "You coming?"

"I'll catch up. I...I need to think." Amikai said. Moro sighed a bit. He, Donald, and Goofy will be inside the lobby as Amikai sat alone in the coliseum. She sighed and covered her face in her hands. What else is there to do? She needs training.

"Rather a stubborn old goat, wouldn't you say?" A voice spoke. Amikai looked up to see Hades a few feet away from her. Amikai stood up and gripped on her Keyblade.

"Who're you?" She asked.

"Name is Hades. Lord of the dead, yadda yadda yadda, how you doing?" Hade walked over to her with a smirk. "You wanted to enter the games, right? Well, hey, get a load of this." Appeared in his left hand is a pass! Amikai blinked in awe.

"You...you're giving me this? But why?"

"You've got spunk, kid. I like that. You'll thank me later. Now run along and show the old goat what you are made of." Hade hands Amikai the pass and walked away. "You've got a long way to enter the cups, kiddo. See you in one." Amikai looked down at the pass. Now is her chance to enter with her friends.

"Hey, I thought I told you guys to leave the coliseum!" Phil said to Moro, Donald, and Goofy.

"We're going, but we're waiting for Amikai!" Donald argued.

"Hey Phil!" Amikai's voice called from behind. Phil turned around to see her with a pass. She hands it to him. "Now, let us enter the games!

"Wait, how did you get this?" Phil asked, inspecting the pass.

"Can we enter the games please?" Amikai asked, not answering him. Moro raised a brow at her.

"Well...I suppose." Phil said in defeat. "Alright, you rookies win. Let's start the preliminaries." Amikai smiled in victory.

In the coliseum, they are all fighting the Heartless that appear out of nowhere, but no one questions about them. Phil thought they are perfect creatures for training Amikai and the others. Moro uses his sword to throw a shadow in the air and Goofy threw his shield to destroy it. Amikai demolished three Heartless all at once with her Keyblade. After 10 minutes, the group are getting the hang of fighting the Heartless better than before.

"How you feeling?" Moro asked.

"I'm solid!" Amikai said with a smile.

"Not bad, huh?" Goofy giggled.

"We're gonna be heroes soon!" Donald said.

"I gotta admit, you four ain't so bad." Phil said as he stood by the board. "But don't celebrate just yet. There are a couple more matches." Amikai walked over to take a drink of water Moro brought from the Gummi Ship. As she took a drink, she spotted a young man walking by. He has blonde spikey hair, blue eyes, wearing a red cloak, and carried a Buster Sword. He turned to Amikai as he walked. He didn't say a word and kept walking. "Something tells me he will be tough to beat." Phil commented.

"Who's he?" Amikai asked.

"Cloud." Phil replied. "He has been training here for a while now, and I've seen him beating some opponents with that sword. Watch your back, kid." Amikai took another drink of water, feeling nervous. Cloud does indeed look tough. And that sword of his made Amikai think it looks too heavy to use. "I just wish Herc was here to see you guys train." Phil spoke once more.

"Herc?"

"Hercules. He's a hero. Too bad he's off visiting his father." Phil explained. "You know, you and your boyfriend remind me of him when he wants me to train him to become a hero." Amikai spat out some water as her cheeks turn red. "Hey, watch it!"

"Moro is not my boyfriend! I just met him a day ago." Amikai exclaimed.

"Whatever. Look, focus on the next match. Go back out there!" Phil told her. Amikai sighed and returned to her friends.

From the shadows, Hades and Cloud watched Amikai and her friends succeed the matches. Amikai is praising herself. She high fived everyone and made a dance. Cloud scoffed at this.

"That blue-haired brat is your next opponent, okay?" Hade spoke. "Now, blow it. Just take her out." Cloud moved his eyes over to Amikai.

"The great god of the Underworld is afraid of a kid? Sorry, but my contract says-"

"I know! You think I don't know? I wrote the contract!" Hades snapped, his blue hair is flaming a bit more. "I know it says you're only required to kill Hercules in this tournament. But you've gotta fight that girl to get to him. Come on." They looked over at Amikai talking to Phil who is telling her more about the games. "Hey, it's like that old goat says. Rule 11: It's all just a game, so let loose and have fun with it."

"Whatever." Cloud said. "I'll handle the kid. And then kill Hercules." He walked away from Hades to be ready for the match.

"Geez. Stiffer than the stiffs back home. Still, suckers like him are hard to come by..." Hades chuckled as the sounds of growling are heard behind him in the shadows.

After the matches, time for the finale. Amikai was told to fight Cloud alone. Donald, Goofy, and Moro couldn't help but worry, but it wouldn't be fair if they help Amikai fight one opponent. Amikai was doing great. Time to put her skills to the test. Amikai gripped on her Keyblade as Cloud appeared with his Buster Sword. Without warning, Cloud charged at her. Amikai yelped and barely dodged the attack. Cloud swung his sword, but Amikai ducked down.

"You afraid?" Cloud asked. Amikai growled and ran towards him, and they clashed their weapons. Amikai made a spin to get behind Cloud and hit him. Cloud grunted as he almost lost his balance. Amikai used her magic, but Cloud blocked them with his sword. "Is that the best you can do?" Cloud asked.

"I'm just warming up." Amikai responded. They clashed their weapons. Amikai had been avoiding his attacks, but Cloud went fast this time as he swung his sword and Amikai cried out as her cheek was hit. A thin line of blood appeared.

"Gawrsh!" Goofy gasped.

"Amikai, watch it!" Moro called. Amikai tried to heal but Cloud kicked her in the stomach, causing her to fly back. Her back lands on the ground. Cloud kicked the Keyblade away and walked towards her. "Amikai, get up!" Moro yelled. Amikai held her stomach with one hand and looked up at Cloud. He raised his sword up.

"What is he gonna do?!" Donald asked in panic.

"Cloud, you're not doing what I think you're doing, are you?" Phil called out. Cloud ignored everyone as his sword is above him. Amikai stared at him with her green eyes. Is this the end? Amikai shuts her eyes, preparing for fate. Cloud couldn't believe that Amikai didn't plea for mercy. She's just a kid. This isn't right. Cloud can't do this. He lowered his sword.

"Good match." He spoke. Amikai opened her eyes to look up at him. Cloud had his hand out to her. Amikai took it and got on her feet. She held her stomach. Cloud got out his Healing Materia to cure her. Amikai's cut on the cheek is gone and no pain in her stomach.

"Oh...thanks." Amikai said. "I thought you were gonna kill me." Cloud didn't say anything. Suddenly, the ground started to shake. Cloud turned to see the three headed dog. Cerberus. Amikai gasped in horror.
Hades smirked to himself and disappeared in the shadows. He will let his dog take care of them. He did forget one rule: Accidents happen.

"Amikai, get out of there!" Moro called.

"That's Cerberus! What's it doing here?" Phil cried out. Cloud pushed Amikai as he got his sword out to face the dog. Amikai picked up her Keyblade.

"Don't you want help?" She asked Cloud.

"Just go! I'll handle it!" Cloud said as he blocked the paw. But Cerberus smacked Cloud away, causing him to fly towards the wall. Amikai looked up at the dog in fear. Before Cerberus could attack, a young man appeared with his sword. Cerberus growled at him.

"Hercules!" Phil cried.

"Phil, get them out of here!" The man, Hercules, demanded. Moro helped Cloud up. Amikai was pulled by Goofy and Donald to return to the lobby.

"What was that?" Amikai asked Phil who is pacing back and forth. "Where did it come from?"

"That is Cerberus. The guardian of the Underworld. How did it get here? Now I'm concerned about Herc." Phil spoke.

"Underworld?" Amikai repeated. She remembered Hades said he is the lord of the Underworld. Did he have something to do with it? Now Amikai felt like she is responsible for this. She took the pass from the god of the Underworld. She made a look and about to go back in the coliseum.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where you going? You're not thinking of going back there, are you?" Phil asked, getting in front of her.

"Phil, I work hard training and I'm ready to face my fears. I'll go alone." Amikai said.

"No, you're not." Moro said, coming beside her. "I'm going too."

"So are we! We're in this together!" Goofy said. They all turn to Donald who is hesitant. "Donald? You coming too?"

"Uhh..."

"If you fight alongside us, you will become a true hero." Amikai said with a smirk.

"Whoa, I never said-" Phil started, but Donald spoke.

"Okay. No more running. Let's go!" He said. The four left the lobby. Cloud remained against the wall. Amikai has got guts. He'll give her that.

Cerberus got Hercules cornered. Three heads growled at him. But ears perk up as it hears sounds. The heads turn back to see Amikai, Moro, Donald, and Goofy there with their weapons. Amikai's heart is pounding hard. She is scared, but she can't let fear stop her. Hercules found his chance to get away. Phil stood by the doorway.

"Rookies, I've got two words of advice for you. Attack!" He yelled.

"Two words?!" Goofy yelped.

"Okay guys! Let's go!" Amikai yelled as she charged with her Keyblade. She uses Thunder to stun Cerberus. Goofy threw his sheild at one of the heads. Donald uses Blizzard to freeze it. And Moro jumped up and uses his sword to hit the middle head. Amikai's Keyblade started to glow and she uses Sonic Blade. Cerberus collapsed on the ground, knocked out. Amikai caught her breath. "Did...did we beat it?" She asked.

"It's out cold." Moro said as he is poking the arm.

"That was easy..." Donald said in disbelief.

"But we defeated one monster!" Goofy said with a smile.

"I...don't...believe it." Phil said, shaking his head in awe. "They actually did it."

In the lobby, everyone started to celebrate. Hercules was told by Phil that Amikai and the others are only junior heroes. They still have a long way to go to be true heroes. Donald was complaining about being a junior hero. Moro couldn't help but to laugh.

"So, what does it take to be a true hero?" Goofy asked.

Well, that's just something you'll have to find out for yourselves. Just the way that I did." Hercules replied with a smile.

"We'll start by proving ourselves in the games." Moro said.

"The games won't be happening for a while. Gotta clean up the mess from the last battle first. Tell you what, come back in a day to begin the cups. You all impressed me this far." Phil said.

"We'll be here tomorrow!" Amikai said. "Looking forward to them!" As she and the others left the lobby, Phil still couldn't believe that Amikai and the others defeated Cerberus. Hercules smirked.

"Just between us, I already worn Cerberus down by the time they jumped in." He told him. Phil smiled.

"My lips are sealed."

"Oh man, I can't wait to be in the games tomorrow! Kicking the Heartless' butts, the opponents, everything!" Amikai said. "We defeated Cerberus and-" She accidently bumped into Cloud. "Oof! Sorry." Cloud turned to her.

"Watch it. Be lucky I'm not the enemy." He told her.

"But how are you feeling?" Moro asked. Cloud crossed his arms.

"I'm alright. Thanks for asking."

"You gonna stick around for the games tomorrow?" Amikai asked. "Maybe we could have a rematch."

"I'm looking for someone. Hades promised to help. I tried to exploit the power of darkness, but it backfired." Cloud said. "I fell into darkness, and I couldn't find the light." Amikai frowned a bit. That explains it. Cloud was supposed to finish her off, but he backed down. Hades was up to something. But he will be dealt with another time.

"You'll find it." Moro spoke. "I'm searching too. We all are."

"For your light?" Cloud asked. Moro and Amikai nodded. "Don't sight of it."

"So...rematch sometime?" Amikai asked as Cloud walked pass her. Cloud turned his head and gave her a smirk.

"Looking forward to it." He told her. Amikai smiled. He left to get to Thebus to rest for the day. Moro uses his phone to take a photo of the coliseum to get updates for the cups for tomorrow.

"We should get going." Moro says after he sends the photo to Chip and Dale. "All this training is getting me hungry."

"Same here. We eat and find another world!" Amikai said as she follows her friends out the doors. Hades watched in anger from the shadows.

"That squirt! She defeated Cerberus! Wait, what am I worried about? The games are coming up. I can take care of her. Shouldn't be that hard to get rid of the kid with the Keyblade, right? Right. Besides, Cerberus isn't the only thing she should be worried about." Hades said to himself. Plans form in his mind. "There's always room in the Underworld. And her key...the key will free the Titans. And they will kill Hercules and bada-bing! Hades rules! Oh, this is brilliant! Isn't this brilliant? C'mon, it's brilliant!"

In the Gummi Ship, Amikai let out a yawn and rests on her bed. She is tired from the training and needs rest to be prepared for the next world. She is thinking about Kokoro and her parents. She hoped they are safe somewhere. She will find them. What would her parents say when she told them she is chosen by the Keyblade and travel to different worlds to stop the Heartless? They either freak out or find it unbelievable. But Amikai wouldn't care. All it matters is that she is needed to save the worlds and find the king. Amikai yawned once more and fell asleep while Donald is piloting the ship.
