OK they are moving in together do I need to say anything else.
-Change is inevitable-
Ochaco and Izuku spent Wednesday apart, wanting to spend time with their families.
The Urarakas spent the evening together after sitting down to eat a great home-cooked meal followed by a healthy portion of Mochi, or an unhealthy amount in Ochaco's case. They then played board games and watched some family favorite movies, just snuggled together on the couch. They even "camped" out in the living room together, trying to cram as much time together as possible. She fell asleep wrapped in her parent's embrace, with the final words she heard being "I love Mochi" from her father.
Inko and Alex took Izuku to dinner and the movies, enjoying a final night out as it would soon be few and far between. They talked and chatted; mother and son laughed at inside jokes, Alex ribbing his future stepson about the future. Ultimately, it was just Inko and Izuku on the couch talking, being together, and being present. Of course, as the night was ending, Inko, stoic all day, flooded the area in tears as she cried happy tears, holding Izuku. The family had come so far since that day in the park and had grown so close; she was pleased that he was moving on in life but afraid to let him go. She was fretting over him eating right, making good decisions, and taking proper care of himself and Ochaco. Soon she just tired herself out and fell asleep holding onto her dear boy; that was how Alex found them in the morning, clasping each other tight.
The morning in the Midoriya house was calm; everything had been packed, and the car had been filled. All that was left was picking up Ochaco and heading to their new home. The furniture was being delivered today, with all the rest of their belongings arriving Saturday along the Mina and Eijiro. Inko didn't cry when her baby left, at least not where he could see her; that was another story after he was down the road. But instead, she sent him off with smiles and deathly tight hugs that found the Ninth wielder of One for All tapping out for lack of air.
Ochaco parents were opposites of each other, with her mom being calm and her father running around like a chicken who had lost its head. When Izuku arrived, her father insisted he carry the few things she had remaining to the car. The ladies watched as her father stood there having a long talk with Izuku that seemed to go from threatening to the man hugging the boy like a son by the end. When it ended, her father shook Izuku's hand firmly before heading back upstairs. Ochaco looked at her mother, who smiled and told her she would understand if Izuku and her ever had children. This is not to say that Ochaco was sparred as her mother was imparting her wisdom to her daughter about relationships and private matters that left her daughter blushing for a few minutes. It was beautiful how her father held her, doing his best not to show all the emotions he had underneath. Her mother hugged Izuku, making him promise to care for her daughter, be gentle, and not rush things.
Ochaco wiped away her tears as they drove away and passed out of view of her waiving parents. The young couple interlocked hands as they drove to their new home.
-New Home-
It was a flurry of activity once the furniture delivery people arrived with set up and installations happening. The young couple was being pulled in different directions at a frantic happy pace. Izuku signed the final paperwork while Ochaco stood smiling in the front room, snapping pictures, and sending them to her mother, Inko and Mina. There was some awkwardness as the couple made the bed with new linens and matching products that made no sense to Izuku but seemed very important to Ochaco. Mr. Tracy had been relatively quiet, only responding to direct questions but mostly keeping the barrier in place.
Izuku stood first and extended his hand to Ochaco, "Would you like to take a shower?"
Ochaco blushed, looking down at her hands, twiddling together, "Together?" she said softly, afraid of her voice cracking or betraying anything else.
Izuku was a tomato, "Yes," he squeaked.
She nodded and took his hand as they made their way to the master bath; she surprised him when she stepped close to him, pulled his shirt off, and then raised her arms for him to do the same. It wasn't the first time they saw each other naked, but it was the first time in the light; their fooling around had been restricted to a dark room with little light. This was going to be in the light of day.
Thankful that she was wearing a matching set today, they wiggled out of their pants, leaving them in their undergarments. She looked at Izuku's body before finding his eyes staring at her; she noticed it didn't make her feel uncomfortable. It made her think of a child at Christmas; his eyes glowed with lust, appreciation, and, most importantly, love. She felt like all the other women in the world could be standing here in a similar state of undress, and he wouldn't be able to see any of them, only her.
She stepped forward and planted a gently but hungry kiss on his lips, which he returned, his hands slipping behind her back to undo her bra. She giggled some as he had gotten in one try, breaking the kiss to smile and say, "You have gotten a lot better at that." She held the bra in place to keep it from falling. "Now, get in the shower. I will join you in a moment."
*Two near adults alone in their new home. What do you think is about to happen*
Izuku took a breath; after turning his back to her, he dropped his underwear and stepped in quickly to hide his arousal. Stepping into the water provided distraction as he let the water begin to wash the grim away from the day; when he heard the door open and close, he stiffened as he felt her presence behind him.
"Can you turn on the rain head?" he heard her ask. Reaching out, he flipped the control and felt water falling onto him; hesitantly, he turned to face her. She stood there, her arms holding her hair as the water cascaded off her body, the droplets caressing every inch, his eyes doing the same. Her eyes were closed slowly. She opened them to see the look on his face, her natural blush deepening.
"See something you like?" she asked in what she hoped was a sultry tone.
He could only nod at the question. The tone in her voice had left him speechless. He slowly cleaned up, washing each other's backs; once clean, he could take it no longer and gently pulled her into a hungry kiss. She eagerly returned his passion, their wet naked bodies pressed against each other, his arousal pressed against her stomach. She reached down to take him in her hand and began stroking him; she was rewarded with a throaty moan from her lover. She felt his hand dance across her nipples, giving light tugs and squeezes, "Touch me, baby," she moaned. As his hand snaked down her body, she opened her legs to allow him access to her sex; with practice, he began to increase her arousal, words leaving them to be replaced by moans.
She gasped when his fingers slipped inside, almost losing focus on bringing him to climax. Almost. She could feel him pulsing in her hand as his fingers curled to that magical spot, they had found one night and put her orgasm on the bullet train. When she heard him call her name, she found release, thankful he was so strong to hold her up as her knees almost buckled. "Izu, take me to bed. Make me yours."
Izuku picked her up, his hand sinking into her tight plush rear; absently, he reached out to turn off the shower as they made their way out to the bed. Their lips never parted till they fell back onto the new mattress. Their wet bodies stuck slightly as he began to kiss her and suck at her neck. To her delight, she had her legs wrapped around him, and she could feel his manhood poking at her entrance. With each graze, she could feel a sense of electricity passing between them, "Ocha, I want you." He managed to say; it was all she needed.
She reached down and aimed him at her womanhood, "Slowly, baby, go slow." He eased forward and felt himself slipping in, thanks to her guidance. Inko and Mr. Tracy had drilled into him the importance of letting her set the pace to not be a fucking beast but to be her lover and let her tell him how to proceed.
He could feel her wetness and warmth wrapping around him; it was nothing like he had imagined. Ochaco moaned deeply as he entered; the pain was slightly uncomfortable, but her desire overridden it. When he came to the barrier, she bit her lip as he pushed through, thankful that Izuku was a patient lover as he sat patiently for her to allow him to continue. She could feel him pulsing inside of her. He bent down and started kissing her again; the fire consumed the pain as she wrapped her legs around him and pulled him the rest of the way in. She gasped as her body screamed for more; her voice told him to move, make love, and make her his in every way they could think of.
The pace began slowly as they found their rhythm, but find it they did, urged on by her cries and moans of more. Izuku did his best to oblige, a monster was awoken that day, and it was Ochaco; she was in bliss; she felt herself explode, then again and again. Ochaco Uraraka was multi-orgasmic, and she liked that. Izuku felt like a king; his girl was moaning and screaming for more, calling him to give her more as her voice filled the room; he lost control and passed into the animalistic call, and as he did, Ochaco loved every second of it. When he felt he couldn't hold back any longer, her calls of "inside" were all he needed to explode. A rare moment of clarity made them very thankful they were both on birth control.
Their bodies were covered in sweat; Ochaco was in bliss; when she felt him harden again, she rolled over him. "Now it's my turn to take what I want." She began to rock her hips, and Izuku almost lost it right then and there. Ochaco loved it; her lover was gifted in his department, allowing herself to rise and slam back down as hard as she wanted. And she wanted it; she liked changing the pace on him and witnessing his reactions when she began to roll her hips though that sent them both over the edge. She must remember to thank Mina for attending those belly dancing classes.
When he finally disengaged, she could feel his seed running out; she smirked as his eyes were glazed; she smiled when he managed to say, "I love you." Reaching the nightstand, she grabbed some tissues to clean herself up before collapsing into his arms and falling asleep. She couldn't imagine a better way to fall asleep, though a shower would be needed again. A devilish smirk crossed her face thoughts of him, pressing her against the wall of the shower and taking her repeatedly. She could hardly wait, The call of sleep was to strong.
Giving themselves two days alone together was the best thing they could have done. It allowed a taste of freedom and liberation. They could explore comfortably and what they did like many others before them and many others that would come after discovering the joy of sex.
*Shenanigans Over*
-The more things change, the more they stay the same-
After controlling themselves somewhat, keeping playtime to a several-hour shower, they ensured everything was ready for the Mina and Eijiro to arrive. When they did the flurry of activity, getting them settled was enough to distract the young lovers as soon the boys and girls were in separate rooms sharing some details with their best friends. They went out to dinner that night to celebrate their new lives. The four sitting there just laughing and enjoying their circumstances felt right. It was a night of merriment that carried over when they got home. They continued to adjust Sunday, ready for the training to begin Monday.
The group awoke early Monday and went to Takoba Municipal Beach Park, a garbage dump masquerading as a beach. They found two full-size dumpsters and All-Might in his skeletal form leaning against a truck drinking a cup of coffee.
"Hello, Young ones; before I leave you for a bit, here is your last training. I want the four of you to clean this beach."
"Community Service?" Mina asked.
"Exactly, young Ashido, before heroics became a show of rising the ranks, heroes did things for the community they served not to rise in the ranks but because it was the right thing to do. I hope that having your four do this will inspire you to continue in such endeavors long after you become pillars of heroics in the future."
"We won't get in trouble, will we?" Ochaco asked.
"Normally, you could, but I have special permission from the city for you four to do this, and you have written permission from All-Might himself as well," he said with a beaming smile handing over the paperwork. "I also have a plan for how you will do this; I don't want you solely relying on your quirks to make short work of all this. I want this to give you guys a final workout to get you in peak condition for the exam. After today I will be out of touch until the exam results come in but know that I am with you in spirit."
"Thank you All-Might…for everything," Izuku said, stepping forward and hugging the hero. All-Might was surprised until the other three stepped forward, and they were all embracing him. He felt warm, looking over their shoulder. He swore he could see Nana standing in the light, smiling at him.
The group broke apart, reviewing their instructions before breaking into their assigned tasks. It was hard work; they took it up a notch when it came time for quirk usage. Ochaco compacting, Mina creating acidic slides, Eijiro trying to use shielding to lift stuff for Izuku to grab. OF course, this was where all their progress was made; after getting home and taking showers, it was time to study. It soon became a nice, regimented routine, with lunches prepared the night before them and dinners planned and ready. I was not only good training, but it was proving to be good home life training. Mr. Tracy pushed them to do things and the importance of why they needed to address them was instrumental in finding harmony.
Being friends and living together are two different things, finding each other's strengths and weaknesses and what little habits they would all have to adjust to. Mina was the first to point out that it was like All-Might was training them not only for the exam for but school. They were at the beach working about the equivalent of school hours, coming home, and having to study, make dinner and get their day ready for the next day. They were learning how to manage their time and how to manage each other. Laundry schedules and shower schedules, chores, all the little things.
They had some hiccups, but it was soon sorted out. Some solutions may have been headphones, but that story is neither here nor there. Surprise visits from their parents help to keep them on their toes and remind them to keep up with housework.
-The Morning of the Exam-
Soon the morning of the exam arrived, and destiny was waiting to be seized. All four of them made breakfast together and ate though the conversation was minimal as flashcards were being poured over or mental scenarios were being run. Izuku asked, "Do we want to use the boost?"
"No," was Ochaco's quick response, "We have trained and trained with Torino, All-Might, and each other we have all experienced a power-up because of it; I want to get in on what I have. If I can't, I don't deserve to be there."
Mina and Eijiro nodded. "But I would like to hear from Mr. Tracy, though," Mina added. "Can we talk to him without the power-up?"
"As long as I don't send it out and you don't call for it, we should be fine," Izuku said.
"I wouldn't mind hearing what the old man has to say," Ochaco commented.
"It only seems right that we have his way in after all that has happened and stuff," Eijiro said.
The group grasped hand, and Izuku called up the tiniest bit of One for All, the electricity dancing over all of them.
Izuku: Well, Dad, you're up.
Mr. Tracy: Speech, huh? The four of you have trained so hard for this day, never doubt that never question your abilities. There are moments in life that you will always look back on as one of the most important days of your life. Today is one of those days, do not hold anything back, do not give anything away, go out there, and seize the day. So tonight, tomorrow, or 60 years from now, you will look back at today and know that every ounce of sweat, tears, or bloodshed to get to today was worth it. Don't leave any doubts or walk away from today with regrets. Now get the fuck out there and kick ass and take names. Izuku may call me Dad but know that I love every one of you with all that I can.
His voice faded, and the four stood there. "Not bad," Ochaco said with a smile.
"He is right; no regrets today, no doubts, we are getting into the hero course," Mina said, pumping her fist.
"Today and tomorrow, we WILL be together," Kiri added.
They all left to get dressed for the day and assembled in the kitchen, checking their duffel bags before taking the elevator to the parking garage and loading themselves into the car. Soon they were off on their way to their destiny.
-U.A.-
They parked and started to make their way to the main gate; the swarm of applicants was bustling around them; they all paused at the entrance taking in the grandeur; though Izuku and Ochaco had been there before, it seemed different or new. It may have been due to the significance of the day.
"Deku…I mean Izuku?" an unfamiliar voice came from behind the group.
It had been over a decade since Izuku had heard that word or that voice though it was different now; of course, puberty and time saw to that. Izuku slowly turned around, and there before him was Katsuki Bakugo.
"Bakugo," he replied, as his friends familiar with that name turned to face the one-time tormentor of their friend, very curious about how this would turn out.
"I didn't know if I would ever see you again; I couldn't find you," Bakugo said, his tone measured.
"Why were you looking for me?"
"At first, it was because I was stupid, but then because I wanted to find you to apologize. My therapist had me write all these letters, and I would memorize this speech if I ever saw you again. I would practice it repeatedly, but then I never found you or had a way to send you the letters."
"I am here now," Izuku responded coolly, unsure what would transpire.
"It all went out of my head; I know you don't owe me shit. I owe you, if it weren't for reporting what was happening, I would have never been forced to get help, and I shudder to think how I would be. If it weren't for your speech at trial, I wouldn't have had this opportunity to try out for U.A., see you here, and say I am sorry. I know it doesn't cut it, but I don't have any other words to use than that. I don't want to hold you up or mess with your preparation, but if you can find the time or space, I would ask to show you how I have changed." Bakugo bowed and walked past the group.
"Bakugo," Izuku called as the boy stopped and turned around. "Show me how you changed, and maybe we can discuss something further."
Bakugo nodded and moved off into the crowd. Ochaco squeezed Izuku's hand, "are you ok?"
Izuku nodded, "he sounds like a different person; maybe he did change. That was what I hoped for at his trial when I spoke, not to get him sent to prison. I hoped it worked. I will have to wait and see."
The group made their way to get registered before they all made their way to the written exam; they each took their seats and settled in, and as the tests were handed out, each took a deep breath before diving in.
Mina nervously chewed on her pencil as she poured over the questions. The answers seemed to be dancing just at the edge of her mind. She could feel the frustration building; she was horrible at tests and always had been. But then she thought of Eijiro, Ochaco, and Izuku, how if she couldn't even do this much, she would never get to stand by them in the hero course. No damn test was going to keep her from that. It all started when she read a question, and the answer popped into her mind; they were no longer dancing at the edges but rushing to the forefront.
Eijiro stared at each question, reading them twice and then marking his answer. It was slow, methodical, but it was working, all the studying, the flashcards, all of it. He couldn't fly through the test, but he could pass it just by doing what he was doing, reading it twice and, confirming his answer, then moving on. Slow and Steady.
Ochaco smiled at the first question, then the second, and so forth. Her competitive nature was rising; she wanted to beat her friends and Izuku. Her boyfriend was brilliant, almost stupidly so, but this was her time to shine. It was just in her nature, she didn't like to lose, and she was not about to lose now; Izuku Midoriya prepared to be bested.
Izuku patiently went through each question, the answer in his mind; he marked each one clearly, never looking back; he would do that at the end if time permitted. Now was the time to be decisive. And he did have time to review.
They all exited the exam area and made their way outside, Ochaco teasing her boyfriend on how this time, victory was hers. It elicited good nature banter between the group as they sat on the bench pulling out their lunches. Discussing different questions to find out that though some of the questions were the same, some of the questions were different.
After eating, they entered the auditorium, finding seats as they waited for the next test—the practical exam. Nerves started to fade into excited anticipation; they were feeling confident as they began to read the packet and saw that their opponents were, in fact, robots. They knew they could do it, with slight disappointment, when they realized they were all in different testing areas. The lights dimmed as President Mic took the stage.
"Welcome all, can I get a HEY!"
The friends shouted, "HEY!" they were the only ones. Izuku's cheeks flushed with slight embarrassment, and Mina and Ochaco laughed. Eijiro shrugged.
"Thanks for that, little listeners," President Mic said, giving them the finger gun salute. "Now, let's get down to business. In a short bit, you will exit the auditorium and head to the locker room area, where you will get changed for your practical exam. You will head to the busses outside with the same mark as your assigned testing areas. You will then engage in your practical exam against robot targets, the detail of which is in the booklet in front of you. Each robot is worth a corresponding point value of 1-3."
"EXCUSE ME, SIR!" a boy with blue hair and glasses shouted as he stood up.
"Yes, examinee #7717," President Mic responded.
"According to the booklet, four robot opponents exist instead of three. It seems unlikely that U.A. Academy, a reputable school, would make such an error during the entrance exam. Would you care to clarify this mistake?" he confidently said.
"Your ability to read is astounding, examinee #7717, but if you had bothered to keep listening, I was about to address that. Of course, such a "reputable school" wouldn't dream of making such an error. The fourth robot in your booklet is worth Zero points; it is more of an obstacle to be avoided than overcome. Is that sufficient for you, examinee #7717? Am I allowed to continue?" President Mic responded. There was some laughter around the room.
The boy sat down, not saying anything.
"Now, to continue, attacks against your fellow examinees will not be tolerated. Should such an action occur, you will fail your test immediately, and any points you have accumulated will be given to the victim. You will also be banned from U.A. A permanent mark will be placed in your file for any other school you should apply to. Every action you take during the exam will be watched and examined. Now everyone here at U.A., we GO BEYOND!"
"PLUS, ULTRA!" the auditorium responded.
As everyone got up and headed towards the locker rooms, Ochaco kissed Izuku before they separated, "I will see you at the car."
-Testing Ground A-
Izuku boarded the bus looking for an empty seat. He spies one next to a girl with purple hair and earphone jacks coming from her ears, "Excuse me, do you mind if I sit?"
"It's cool,"
"Thank you, Izuku Midoriya." He said, taking the seat.
"Kyoka Jiro," she extended her hand, which he gladly shook.
"So, how do you think you did on the written test?"
"Not bad; I think I passed. What about you?"
"Good, I think; if it's not rude, what is your quirk?"
"You first," she replied suspiciously.
"Energy Well," he responded. "My quirk stores energy that I can tap into to strengthen myself; I am still learning all I can do with it."
"You don't know what your quirk does?"
"Late Bloomer," he said with a shrug, "My body had to accumulate the energy, and I had to be physically capable of handling it."
"Sounds rough,"
"It had its highs and lows, but it was worth it in the end."
"Cool, yea, I can channel my heartbeat through these things; they are also extendable."
"That is so cool; if you had some speakers, you could do some crazy sonic attacks. Can they amplify sound?"
"Yea." She said curiously; she was already thinking about speakers for her costume if she got in and wondered what else this guy had thought of.
"That is so awesome. You could have a sound deck built in, plug into the deck, then the speakers, and send out some pre-recorded messages or crazy bass. Seriously shake things up. Or it would be cool if you could play the guitar. Then I bet the support course could whip one up for you to use in battle, like amplifying your sonics and smashing someone upside down if they get too close. Give a whole new meaning to the word AX," he said with a smile.
"I never thought of that; that's a pretty good idea," she replied as the bus stopped. "Good luck out there, Izuku Midoriya."
"You as well, Kyoka Jiro," he said with a smile. Maybe I can integrate my music and my hero dreams after all.
Izuku made his way into the staging area going through his stretches before he called up One for All the lightning dancing around his body. He sat there with his eyes closed, blocking out everyone around him, forming an image of his mother, Alex, All-Might, Torino, Mina, Eiji, Mr. Tracy then Ochaco. He held that image of them before him, focused solely on it. Everything else was gone. When the buzzer sounded, he dashed forward into the exam area.
-Testing Area B-
Mina was sitting next to an honest to god, invisible girl, and it was freaking awesome. The girl Toru was this bundle of energy that matched Mina, and that was hard to do. She was just joyous and super cool; by the time they arrived at the testing ground, they had agreed to exchange numbers after they returned to the locker room.
The two future friends talked quietly as they made their preparations; Mina limbered up, getting ready to move; she got her acid circulating, prepared to rock, and roll. She could almost feel One for All reaching out to her momentarily, pushing it from her mind. NO REGRETS, NO HOLDING BACK. THERE IS NO TOMORROW. THERE IS NO TOMORROW, ONLY TODAY ONLY NOW. She repeated it through her mind screaming it to herself. When the buzzer sounded, she rocketed out like a bullet. With Toru hot on her heels.
-Testing Area C-
"So, you are telling me your quirk is exactly like mine?" Eijiro said in disbelief.
"No, your quirk is like my quirk!" The quirk-copycat with silver hair replied.
"And we are in the same testing area? That sucks."
"I couldn't agree more, so don't be too sad when I do better than you and get in."
"No damn way, I am going to do so much better than you; you're going to cry."
"Care to make a bet Rock Boy?"
"Sure thing, Metal Butt,"
"Loser has to buy the other one dinner."
"You are so on."
-Testing Area D-
"So, you are Katsuki Bakugo?" Ochaco said as she took her seat on the bus.
The ash-blonde teen had been staring out the window quietly, seemingly lost in his own world. He looked at her questioningly till recognition came across his face. "Your one of the girls that were with D. Izuku…I mean Midoriya."
"That's right, Uraraka," she said.
"So are you going to tell me to stay away or some shit," he said.
"No, that is not my decision; that belongs solely to Izuku, but of course, I will pay close attention," she replied.
"A leopard never changes his spots. Is that what you mean?" He said.
"A leopard cannot change its spots. That is impossible, but a person can change. I don't know you, all I know is what he told me, you get one chance with him. Deceive him; I will make you regret that decision; I promise you that." A fierceness rose in her voice.
"There was a time I would have sat here and told you how I did nothing wrong, how what I did was right and how it should be. But then I met someone, and she changed my life; she made me see how fucking stupid I was. When she died, she told me to keep living and to be the man she dreamed I could be. I want to be that man and get a chance to show… Midoriya that his faith in me all those years ago was not a waste is more frosting on the cake. If Midoriya had not gone to get help, had he not begged that judge to give me a second chance, had my dad not laid the hammer down, I would not have met her, and despite the pain, I wouldn't trade any of that for the world." He replied, his gaze once again out the window. "I learned to fight for something more than power or proving my strength; I learned to fight for an ideal."
Ochaco listened to his speech, to the determination in his voice. It was true that Bakugo had done some horrible things to Izuku; the scars she saw now every night were a reminder of that, but without those scars, would they have ended up meeting and being together? She looked over at the teen. "Then prove it, prove your conviction; if you do that and stand by what you just said, then I am sure we will have no problems, and I am sure that Izuku will see it too." She said to which Bakugo just nodded. Ochaco refocused herself as the bus came to a stop.
In the darkness of the waiting area, she prepared for the beginning of the test, the next step into the future with Izuku, Mina, and Eijiro. She could almost feel One for All dancing out there, calling out to her; instinctively, she wanted to reach out, the feeling of tapping into it would always fill her with the warmth of Izuku's love, but she didn't want to pull that power in. Instead, she turned her gaze inward, and the blackness of her vision faded.
The stars began to emerge, the plants, the celestial bodies, then it was there the destroyer of stars, the eater of galaxies, the same black hole as before. It called to her, wanting to pull her in; she could feel a maliciousness there, an all-consuming hunger. Surrender to it would mean the end of her as she knew it; surrender would mean the hunger would consume her in totality. Visions of excess, pleasure, wealth, and power flooded her, showing all, it could give. It was tempting her.
And it was tempting, but then she replayed the images, and Izuku was not in any of them; Mina and Eijiro were absent, and her parents were absent. It was then that she realized it was all hallowed, a cover for the insatiable hunger, a hunger that would never be satiated.
She would not be hollow; she would not be that person; she would be light. A star, if you would, is something to shine so brightly that even in the darkest of nights, people would still be able to look up and navigate home.
Home.
A warm, prosperous place, contentment, peaceful, filled with love. No hunger, no unfathomable thirst. She took the Black Hole into her hand again. Hunger no more, for I will supply you with more than you knew; Hunger no more because I will bear it for you. Know no more darkness; instead, know light.
She pulled it to her chest and could feel it sinking into her body; the heartbeat there the first time was rapidly thundering against her as it melted into her—the frantic pounding of the beat. Trust in me, she whispered. Achingly it slowed; it calmed. Until it matched her heartbeat, they beat as one for a rich and glorious eternity. The celestial bodies, planets, and stars all faded, but no darkness existed. There were lights in the distance as Ochaco began to drift to the real world again, the little girl was there again; she was smiling, "I knew you could do it…" The last of her words drifted trailed off, lost in being pulled to the waking world. The buzzer sounded, and her eyes snapped open gone were her brown eyes instead, filled with galaxies and celestial bodies; white energy edged in black escaped the swirling mass that are her eyes, like wisps of smoke; miniature solar systems danced from her fingertips.
Everything is moving so slow she presses her leg into the ground and explodes into the cityscape; the shockwave knocked some from their feet as the first wave of robots a pulled along in her wake; as she reaches the city center, her hands extend out as more and more come to her, ripped from concealment, from buildings all to a swirling mass above her head. Raising her hand to the sky, fingers outstretched, with a smile, she makes a fist; all 26 robots collide and begin to implode upon themselves, falling around her in metal balls.
Some that bore witness froze at the sight, some in fear, others in awe. Katsuki Bakugo broke to the left; impressive or not, he had an exam to pass and deal with what he just saw later. "Be the man I know you can be, Katsuki, for you and me," HER last words echoed through his mind as the first obstacles appeared and were put down with great force.
-Testing Area A-
Izuku tore through the first of the robots like they were nothing, danger sense triggering as they would focus on him reading to attack. He dodged before they fired, effortlessly dancing past the attacks, and sending them to the scrap heap.
Bounding up the sides of the buildings quickly, he twisted in the air locating the next cluster before a strange feeling wrapped around him, almost like there was a solid surface that allowed him to push off and come crashing down, obliterating his targets.
Bolting off in a blur of green lightning, he rounded the next corner seeing Kyoka dispatch a two-pointer as three-pointers emerged to strike her blindside; deftly, he raced in, grabbing her around the waist, and spun her around, avoiding the attack, her yelp was cut short when the ambusher was in front of her attempting to refocus for its next episode. She plunged her jacks into the "eyes" of her opponent. It began to vibrate before it exploded in sparks falling broken at their feet.
"Thanks for the save," she managed, her face blushing as her mind painted the image of their position. Her body half angled to him, his arm around her waist, one of her arms around his broad shoulders, the other with her hand against his chest, one leg wrapped around his.
"That's what heroes do," he said with a dazzling smile. Another group exploded from the wall behind him as she spun, pressing her body fully against him and her jacks racing past his head to dispatch one of the assailants; he placed his hands at her waist. "Excuse me, Jiro," as he lifted and tossed her into the air to spin himself and crush the other assailant with a devastating kick.
She couldn't help but laugh as she spun in the air and came down into a deft catch. Both teens were smiling.
"See you around…Hero," she said playfully, smacking him on the chest before she raced off her hearing, directing her towards the next set of opponents; that boy can be dangerous.
Izuku turned and raced in the opposite direction, One for All responding to his every call with what could only be described as excitement. As he re-entered an intersection, he saw a blonde boy on the ground clutching his stomach as two 3-Pointers were about to descend upon him. Izuku was too far away, he felt the lightning rush forward again, and this time, it ran down his arm, coalescing together; instinctively, he threw his arm in a hook-punch motion as he felt the release at the apex, and the lightning fired off and struck the robots destroying them.
Izuku froze for a second; he had just thrown fucking lightning. Quickly, he shook it off, grabbed the boy, and pulled him to the side.
"Are you all, right?" he asked.
The boy clutching his stomach looked up and smiled best, "Oui, Mon 'Ami, simple troubles with my stomach; I thank you for the sparking save."
Something inside of Izuku reacted; his dangers sensed buzzed, but so very faintly; if he hadn't been training it, he would not have noticed it in the slightest, he couldn't place it, but this wasn't the time to dwell on it. Maybe Mr. Tracy could talk to the others and see what was happening. After checking that the boy would be ok again, he raced into the city.
Everyone froze when the ground shook across the testing ground; as the Zero Pointer emerged, the examinees began to flee. Izuku started to withdraw when he heard a frantic call for help. Spinning around, he saw her, a blonde girl with horns trapped under the rubble as Zero Pointer was barreling down on her. In shock, he saw other races past her, including the blue-haired boy from earlier.
He came to a skidding stop next to the girl, "I got you." He said as he reached down and freed her from the rubble.
"Thank you, no one stopped to help; terrified I was," Her Japanese was broken, which caught his attention, and he hesitated slightly. "LOOK OUT!" she screamed as her horns rocketed off her head.
He heard the clang behind him as the giant fist was thrown off course, sparing them both; quickly, he freed her, "Can you stand?" he shouted.
"No, my ankle is damaged," she replied.
"Excuse me," he lifted her and dashed away, noting an instead-built teen with a yellow suit, and pronounced lips yelling that the zero pointer was coming back. "I am so sorry," he said to the blonde, "CATCH" he yelled as he tossed the girl to the other teen. Izuku saw him easily catch the injured girl as he pivoted to face down the zero-pointer. As he pushed off, One for All surged like never before, he felt it flood his body; he leaped into the air. He could feel the strain in his legs, but they did not break. As he pushed, he thought of that field around his body again; trusting it, he tried to use it to propel himself through the machine itself.
His call was answered as the sudden rush of movement and speed exploded around him. The sound barrier broke as he tore through the chest of the Zero-Pointer, rising above it as it crashed. He was there above it all floating… no, he was FLYING!"
-Testing Ground B-
Mina spun to the left as Toru danced to the right wielding a sword of acid. The 2-pointers head sailed through the air as the other began to melt into a puddle of goo. Maintaining the blade for Toru and the whip was taxing without the boost. Her acid started slipping when the shaking of the ground announced the arrival of a zero-pointer. Toru and she were about to retreat when they saw a boy with yellow with a black lightning bolt wandering into the path of the zero pointers with an absent look on his face. They called out to him, but he responded with the dumbest look they had ever seen; he flashed them a thumbs up and a response of "Whey,"
Mina's instinct kicked in, and she rushed, feeling the surge to protect explode inside of her, "Toru grab the idiot!" she threw out her harm as the Zero Pointer roared into view; a huge acidic spike burst forth, stabbing the mech through the chest, it jerked violently as the acid went to work. The world went hazy Mina stumbled and swayed as a massive boom exploded from elsewhere in the testing area. She saw the "Idiot," being led away when the call went out of the test being finished; she toppled forward only to be caught by a giant hand; glassy-eyed, she turned and looked at her savior, teal eyes, and red-orange hair. "Thanks for the save, hot stuff" Mina slipped into unconsciousness.
Itsuka Kendo looked at the unconscious Mina in her hand and smiled. "Not so bad yourself, Pinky." Lifting the girl, she carried her off to the medical staff.
-Testing Ground C-
Eijiro and Tetsu were racing side by side, calling out points; it was a dead heat through and through. When the Zero-Pointer emerged, both boys sprang into action, helping others get out of the way; when one of the treads on the beast malfunctioned, it toppled, knocking into a building, and causing a cascade of rubble to rain down. He could manifest his shielding; it was the first time he had done so not on his friends but on others; his heat swelled as the rubble bounced off the fleeing examinees driving him to his knees.
He would not fail, Digging Deep. The shielding strengthened as cracks and cuts formed on Eijiro from all the damage; once they were clear, he stumbled back into an alley as the test ended, and the Zero Pointer shut down.
-Testing Ground D-
Ochaco was a menace to the robot kind, thousands of years later, they would tell the tale of the girl who wholesale slaughtered their ancestors as a way to make their children follow their programming. When the Zero Pointer arrived, endangering the lives of her fellow examinees, as a wall fell about to crush a boy with purple orbs for hair and another boy with the tape coming out her elbows, she could only cry out as she was too far away.
Katsuki Bakugo was quick enough. He slid to a stop and extended both hands as a massive explosion fired forth, destroying most of the debris, dropping to one knee, she could see that he was about spent, but the Zero-Pointer didn't seem to care.
She saw a beast of a student roar at the thing, "Hey, Beasty can you throw me." In response, it roared, but when it cupped its hands together, Ochaco just shrugged and ran forward; as soon as her foot contacted her launching pad, she negated gravity on herself. With a mighty heave, she rocketed into the air; she couldn't help but smile, able to orient herself; she released gravity sending her back towards the metal menace. Her eyes had not reverted this entire time.
She felt it deep inside again. With a devilish smirk, she began to increase her gravity, "STAR FALL!" she roared as she drove straight through the machine; she noticed that something seemed to connect a few inches before her fist, but she couldn't focus on it as she quickly negated her increased gravity and erased it all together crashing down in the very heroic superhero landing. Slowly she rose to her feet, "Jesus, that is murder on the knees." The stars faded from Ochaco the world wobbled some.
The rest of the examinees in the area stood there, stunned at what they saw. TIME! Rang out.
"You shouldn't take the lord's name in vain," a girl with vines for hair said, walking over. "But that was quite heroic to see. Do you need some assistance?"
"No, I…" She took a step and stumbled. "Yes, please," she said with a coy smile, the girl put Ochaco's arm over her shoulder and used her vines to help support Ochaco as they made their way toward the exit.
-Medical Wing-
Izuku walked into the medical area, looking at the three beds where his friends all lay asleep. Initially, he panicked slightly, but Recovery Girl assured him they were fine. The girls had just overused their quirks, and Eijiro had no significant injuries, just many smaller ones.
One would expect it would be me in here, yet it's the three of them.
Fate is strange sometimes son. So how was flying?
What was up with that? Is it one of the other's quirks?
Yup, Nana. She seemed rather pleased when it manifested it's been there for a bit.
So how am I supposed to learn to fly?
I believe that's U.A.'s freaking job. I mean, it is a hero school.
Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Well, at least my cover story can account for it. You were very quiet today.
One of those days where it was about what you can do on your own.
I understand that, but it is still unnerving; you usually aren't quiet for that long.
There will be days, I am sure. I have to let my baby boy grow up; besides I don't think you want me talking when you and Ochaco are having fun. She wants to beat me up, and I do not wish to add any more fuel to the fire.
Smart.
No, just years of experience. But I want to say that I am proud of you, you did great.
Thanks, Dad.
You're welcome, son, now. Enjoy the rest of your day. I will be available if you need me.
I know. Love you.
Love you too.
