A/N: Now we start the story with its first arc and where the Platonic Stellacoln part really starts in its larval state. Man, I can't wait to develop this friendship and raise the stakes more.
This story wasn't created with any genuine agenda in mind besides fun and to explore the idea of platonic Stellacoln. This also isn't any take for the show and is very loosely based on it. If you don't like that, don't even bother reading this.
Early Days Arc
Chapter 1: Night is Young (and Dangerous)
Back in the Leal's household, Liberty was in her bedroom, messing with her phone and reading a comic about that show she watched beforehand while trying to fall asleep. She is under the covers and wearing white pajamas.
Her bedroom isn't very pleasant; there's gathered clothes in a corner, comics and slingshots are scattered around and the door is frequently locked so no one would see her mess of a bedroom.
"What?! This entire thing started because of a clearly fake photo between a boy and a teenage girl kissing, lol." She said with a smirk and tried to contain her laugh, but some chuckling escaped her mouth. She continued to read the comic anyway to her eventual regret.
"Ok, I need to eat something after…that!" She remarked in disgust after seeing something in the comic, leaving the phone under the pillow and getting out of the bed. She unlocks the pin in the door and starts to walk the hallway until she reaches the stairs.
She is in the living room and sees nothing was tampered with. She goes to the kitchen to assault the fridge for food but she only sees a cold hamburger but due to lack of better options, she picks it up and closes the fridge before eating it slowly.
"I wish I could deep fry it but I have to eat it cold. How nice." She complained while still eating it. "I must see if Lincoln is sleeping."
She goes upstairs and walks to Lincoln's bedroom and opens the door, she sees the open window, noticing that he wasn't in his bed. She is still eating the cold hamburger before finishing it.
"Lincoln is in trouble again number Infinity! I hope he is still alive though." She spoke before sighing. "Okay, I must take care of his bullshit, let's go."
She goes out of his bedroom to change her pajama for her casual clothes, moving back to her bedroom. Once she was there, Liberty went to her bed and picked up her slingshot under the pillow. She also picked up the bag of projectiles under the desk before going to change the clothes.
…
We are now in the living room and Liberty is holding the keys, wearing the same clothes but using her brown jacket normally instead of being wrapped around her waist.
"Now I'm ready for some action, let's see what Lincoln is doing and make sure he goes back unnoticed." She remarked about him, smiling in amusement before moving for the front door to open it and once she was out, she locked the house.
The girl starts to move away from the house, ready to search for her cousin. She looks around and seeing there's nobody, she runs for the alleyway since this is the quickest way to reach the center of the town.

Meanwhile, the two hooded kids are exploring the streets, seeing the lamps illuminating the sidewalks, the moon in the sky and feeling the silence these hours. Stella is holding her electric bat for any danger and taking the lead, with her goggles covering her eyes.
"So… where are we going?" Lincoln simply asked.
"I'm planning to go to the junkyard." She replies to him, then seeing the park she frequently goes to.
"Good, maybe I can finally sleep after this is over." Lincoln groaned, still frustrated with his insomnia. Stella thought about going for the park but decided against it since she is becoming tired of that place.
"Lincoln, your hair is dyed?" She asked innocently but Lincoln already expected this question so the boy pulled the exposed bang aside, showing that the root is white as the rest.
"It is natural and it seems this is common in my father's bloodline, explaining why my cousin also has white hair." Lincoln explained this oddity to her, even if he resented this appearance.
"You mentioned someone called Lynn and said she is your estranged sister." Stella reminded him. "Sorry if I'm being too… personal."
"No, it is okay, I'm actually estranged from her, not the other way around." Lincoln revealed, hoping this didn't get too uncomfortable.
"Ok, I won't ask these questions anymore." Stella finished, seeing how this subject is too delicate, especially for someone she barely met. Lincoln turns around after hearing a sound coming from the park, briefly seeing a girl he never thought he would see again.
"Cristina?! No, I must be seeing things."
"Linc, you're okay?" Stella asked, seeing that he was looking at a tree from the park and shaking his head.
"Yes, I just thought I saw… something." Lincoln told her and continued. "Let's go to the junkyard already." He slightly demanded, not wanting to be close to the park.
"We can't stay outside for too long." She agrees with him, knowing the risks of her trips. Her grandmother already found out she goes to the window.
They move far away from the park and Stella leads the way, holding her weapon forward for any possible danger during the way there. Stella is thinking about the town and how weird it felt to stay here ever since she moved there even if it allowed her to make her hidden room.
Far away inside the park, Cristina was observing them, with a furrowed brow against him, still with her binoculars.
"You think you can get away with your actions and start a friendship with that girl, just wait, you will be out of this town faster than you can say Ace Savvy." She finished on her thoughts before starting to walk away to her household, in order to prepare her plans to deal with the Loud family and Lincoln.
"That family will be dealt with soon enough, but I wonder why Girl Jordan is avoiding me." She is insecure when remembering her former friend while walking back to her bike in a lamppost, ready to drive back for the other side of Royal Woods. She unlocks the chain and starts to drive away.
…
The two adventurers walked for a while for one hour around the town, but they eventually saw the entrance for the junkyard, with the gate being open. The gates are metallic and there's metallic fences around the junkyard. Stella moves her goggles for her forehead, letting her eyes be visible but her hood is still covering her head.
"Wait, why are the gates open?" Stella wondered, her eyes widened in surprise. She extends her baseball bat forward. Lincoln did the same with his pipe despite his neutral expression but he wondered the following.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"I wanted to introduce you to my hangout spot before continuing our adventure." She explained to him before continuing to travel inside the junkyard, Lincoln follows her for a pile of junk close to the exit before going behind it.
They see a small cabin inside a pile of scrap alongside other mini mountains of scrap. There's a subtle path to it and a locked door is blocking the entrance.
"That cabin is one of my bases even though I don't know the creator, but I borrowed it anyway." The filipina explained, then hopping in excitement towards the cabin, feeling she finally has someone to share her secrets with, unlocking the door with a key buried in the ground. Lincoln is following her while surprised at her sudden excitement but keeping his cool and apathetic look.
"I swear, the people reading this story need to be used to her behavior and the random stuff here. Just get used to it, people." The boy remarked in his thoughts, looking towards the reader before turning towards the entrance and entering the cabin.
The interior looks simple; it has a poster with big blue and pink stripes in the upper and down halves respectively and a purple stripe in the middle, a worn-down couch with a table in front and an outdated TV with antenna, and a chest with scrapped inventions inside.
Stella is in the middle of the cabin before saying 'ta da' and lifting her two arms while smiling.
"This is my base where I put my scrapped inventions." She said to him, showing the chest in the end of the cabin.
"This looks…charming. I see you don't bother getting yourself dirty and staying inside literal junk." He begrudgingly talks with her, looking around the cabin and eventually seeing the poster and instantly recognizing it.
"Wait, you're bi?" He asks surprised and wide mouthed. He is no stranger for this subject since one of his former sisters was crushing on a girl called Sam.
"Yes, I'm in both, any problem?!" She replies, frowning against him and expecting him to not tolerate it, holding her hands in her hips.
"No, an older sister of mine is bisexual too while my cousin is lesbian, so I don't have any problem with it." He revealed some secrets to her to control the situation.
"Ok, that's interesting but changing the subject, you want spring coils in your shoes or a glideable umbrella?" She gave two options for him, remembering her future ideas from her notepad.
"Huh." Lincoln is thinking what to choose, holding his jaw with his index and thumb fingers before deciding what to have. "A glideable umbrella and why are you asking that?"
"Because..." She goes behind the chest and picks a backpack. "...we are going to scavenge the parts." She said with excitement and tossed the backpack to him, with Lincoln barely managing to grab it. Stella goes for the exit and he follows shortly after.
Stella planned to put spring coils in her shoes eventually but decided to put this on hold due to how hard it would probably be hard to master it without risking breaking some bones, at least Lincoln picked the easy option.
The duo exits the secret base and Stella locks the door and hides the key, the inventive immigrant puts the goggles back into her eyes and compresses her weapon to put it inside her hoodie's pocket.
However, upon going to the junkyard itself, there was someone on top of the main pile of junk and scraps with his back turned towards them, he looked close to Lincoln's age according to his stature. Stella and Lincoln stopped walking and looked upwards for the person wearing a dirty green jacket with brown patches in the back and the hood covering his head.
"Lincoln, I think we should run." The filipina whispered in his left ear, concerned with the situation and with her right hand inside her hoodie pocket to use her weapon.
"I agree but we should walk away slowly." The white-haired boy whispered back, shooting down the idea of running away from the figure. Stella nods and they start to slowly walk for the entrance, hoping to not catch the figure's attention.
"You two really thought I didn't notice any of you." The boy spoke to them, still with his back turned towards them, startling the duo. "The people from the houses are so naïve!" He finishes talking and turns towards them and fires his crossbow towards the entrance, collapsing it and making the two adventurers turn towards the hooded boy, with the moon shining upon him.
The boy has a tattered scarf covering his mouth, alongside his dirty green jacket above his white shirt, he also has black shorts and white boots. The boy has blonde hair and he is holding a modified crossbow that fires explosive rockets.
"Who the hell are you?!" Stella yelled to the boy, drawing out her bat and extending it on her right side while Lincoln extended his pipe towards the boy but he giggled in amusement.
"It is funny that you don't know my name, Stella, considering I know yours. The same thing about you, Lincoln." He remarked to them, surprising the duo, but he continued to talk. "My name is Mike, the kid who will destroy this wretched town." He reveals his name before throwing one of his bombs towards Stella and Lincoln.
The two kids jumped away in opposite directions and the bomb exploded.
"Stella, you're okay?" Lincoln asked, eyeing for any possible attack.
"I am." Stella looks to him and sees another bomb being thrown towards him. "Look out!"
Lincoln hears her and sees the bomb going in his direction but he doesn't have time to leap backwards so he swings his pipe upwards, successfully parrying it and the bomb explodes mid-air.
"Lincoln, we really need to retreat!" She loudly exclaimed to him, seeing the collapsed entrance, noticing it looks mangled but still passable.
"Agreed but this dude surely won't let us!" He looks towards her, still cautious for more attacks.
"You're planning to escape like a coward." He chuckles under the tattered scarf. "And I thought you were brave for standing up to Chandler but he was vulnerable, of course you would be able to defeat him." He loads his crossbow and stops throwing bombs. "But let's see if you will survive THIS!"
He fires the explosive rocket towards her but she smirks to Lincoln's confusion. She moves her bat behind her like a baseball game and once the rocket was close enough, she activates the electricity and hits the rocket, tossing it towards the pile where he was standing.
"What?!" Both Mike and Lincoln said at her tactic; the former with fear and the latter with amazement.
The rocket's explosion was augmented by the electricity and blew the entire pile, sending pieces of junk and scrap in multiple directions. Stella holds Lincoln's arm and starts to run quickly for the junkyard's mangled entrance, with the boy barely managing to keep the pace.
They are on the street and continue to run away from the ruined junkyard and once they are far enough, they stop running and start to gasp for air, hands on their knees and looking down. Stella moves her goggles to her forehead.
"That was amazing Stella." He joyfully complimented her tactic but felt his tight forearm stinging again due to her holding him, making him massage it. "But stop holding my arm like that, it stings."
"Sorry." She apologizes and sees that he still has the backpack. "My plans are now on hold, and I must gather my stuff there, and I'm sorry for putting you in trouble." She lamented, looking down and continuing to breathe.
"No one would have predicted that so you don't need to apologize to me, I said before I don't mind ending up in trouble." He assures her, putting his hand on her left shoulder.
"Let's return home." She merely says to him, deciding to put her weapon inside the backpack. "Consider this backpack a present of mine to you." She explained to him.
"Thanks."
They continue to walk back for their neighborhood to end this night. Stella looks at her smartwatch and sees it is 3:40 AM. However, a small bomb was rolling towards the duo and by the time Lincoln noticed it, it was too late.
"Stella, out of the way." He tossed her away and the small bomb exploded close to him, knocking him out and terrifying the filipina. His weapon fell on the ground close to Stella's feet.
"Lincoln!!" She screams his name and goes to check him and noticing that he still has a pulse in his chest, she sighs in relief and puts his new backpack on herself and puts Lincoln's L-shaped pipe inside. Once she finished it, she carried him in her arms.
"You really thought I was dealt with."
She turns towards the voice and sees Mike but notices that he no longer has the jacket and crossbow and he looks bruised, but he still retains his tattered scarf on his mouth and belt with bombs.
He draws out two bombs for each hand and idly tosses both bombs up and down. Stella just decides to run from him, wanting to protect her best and first friend from this mysterious and dangerous boy.
"Run, twinkle star, you can run but you can't hide." He mocks her and laughs at seeing her running before giving chase and throwing one of the bombs.

"Where is him?" Liberty asked no one in particular, she was exploring the proximity for him, already exploring the park and her options diminishing to where he was. Eventually, she punches a lamppost out of frustration, not caring that her knuckles can be broken.
"Why does he have to end up in trouble!" She hisses, frustrated with the fact she should make sure he doesn't end up in trouble and due to the pain of punching the lamppost.
Suddenly, she hears a distant explosion and when she turns towards the source, she sees Stella running with her unconscious cousin on her back, and he has a backpack. There is someone chasing them and throwing bombs towards her, and she is dodging by moving out of the way.
"Stella? What the hell is happening?" She asked with an unusually serious tone, concerned for Lincoln.
"Someone wants to kill us, that's why!" She reveals to the girl with a beanie, continuing to run from Mike and once she reaches Liberty, the immigrant stops running and stays behind her.
"How pleasant, I must give this guy some manners." She proudly announced herself and put a projectile in her slingshot.
"Another victim?!" He said surprised but still amused, smiling under the tattered scarf covering his mouth, he readies his remaining bomb to throw towards her.
"No." Liberty simply replies and fires her slingshot to the bomb, launching it away from him and exploding on the street. Mike notices he only has a smoke bomb left so he decides to escape.
"FINE, I will make my leave but I won't spare your lives next time." Mike briefly threw a tantrum to the trio before tossing the smoke bomb on the street and successfully escaping. Liberty fired her slingshot but it hit nothing, she turns towards Stella and sees that she is still carrying the unconscious Lincoln in her arms.
"Let's go home." She simply told Stella and started to walk back, with her following afterwards.
"I agree."
Stella hopes that no one is awake but knows for sure that the junkyard is ravaged and people will talk about the blown up street. Liberty is caressing her knuckles to alleviate the pain.
…
The two girls are in front of Liberty's house, with her carrying the unconscious Lincoln on her back. Stella sees her smartwatch and sees that it is 3:57 AM, much more early than she goes back home early.
"Thanks for helping us and I'm sorry for what happened to Lincoln." She thanks Liberty, seeing the unconscious Lincoln peacefully resting on his cousin's back.
"Is he unconscious or sleeping?" She asked herself in her thoughts but decided to brush it aside.
Liberty cleans her throat to finally say what she wanted to do for her. "I'm sorry for how I treated you earlier." She humbly apologizes for the filipina and offers a handshake. Stella reluctantly accepts it and buries the hatchet with her.
"Apology accepted, you can join my sleepover tomorrow…or technically today." The filipina offered to the long-haired girl,
Liberty thinks for a while but finally says. "I will go to that sleepover, goodbye Stella." She finally says her farewells and starts to walk back to her home.
"Goodbye, and this backpack is my gift for him." Stella replies back and gives the backpack for her, which she accepts.
Liberty nods and enters her house to go back to sleep. Stella goes to the backyard to climb back for her bedroom to end the night.
Once she was there, she went inside her closet and changed into her red pajamas. She goes to her bed and hides her weapon below it.
"I hope Lincoln is okay and I'm sorry." She hoped for him before going to sleep, ready for the day and to meet Luna in the park.
-I-I-I-I-I-
During these events, Cristina was pedaling back home, wanting to reveal Lincoln's return to her friends. She was traveling on a highway bridge towards the other side of Royal Wood.
"I still can't believe that stupid, idiotic planner wannabe is back, I thought he was rotting in juvie!" The redhead furrowed in anger towards him. She then smiles about what she wants to do.
"He seems to have a friendship with that girl, but if she discovers his past, he will be left alone like he deserves." She presumed for her plan.
"The idiotic girls called Loud sisters will enjoy their lifestyle because the loudness needs to end someday." Cristina remarked.
"Once everyone discovers what all of you are, this will be fun." She chuckles and she reaches the highway's end, knowing her home is close to sleep and starts the operation with her best friend Cynthia.
Chapter End
A/N: Phew, this chapter was the hardest to plan and write due to the worldbuilding and occasional writer blocks but at least I did my best. If you felt some part was done poorly, feel free to give constructive criticism.
Yeah, Lincoln still retains some form of fourth-wall breaking but it is more for these types of jokes because come on, this AU has things like a sociopathic boy carrying a crossbow with explosive rockets and secret bases, so why not include fourth-wall breaking too XD
If you know the comic that Liberty was reading, you know. If you don't, don't bother trying to discover it.
Bye-Bye.
