A/N: In this chapter, I wanted to bring in other character experiences. because of how disjointed the two women became after Lou was introduced. several things happened with other members of the group. so last chapter and then this chapter and the next one will have a bit of development on most of the characters. This mission is going to be big... because next mission is even more explosive. Major new guest character is coming and it will change everything.

Speaking Of Exes

After Emma told the Team what she had flashed on. They all went to General Mills. "Stella Demetrios," The General stated. "A Beautiful socialite, owns and operates a number of LA clubs."

Emma Shrugs hands in her pockets. She couldn't win, first Regina who didn't want her anyway had a Hot boyfriend like Bryce, And now Lou… her girlfriend was smoking hot and rich. What did Emma have… Nothing but a bunch of data hiding in her brain that seems to ruin every mood she ever has. "I don't think she's that Pretty."

General Mills rolled her eyes. "She's the daughter of Yari Demetrios, the shipping magnate." Emma listened, simmering in jealousy. She couldn't care less about this mission or whatever they want her to get. She just wants to keep Lou as far away from Stella as possible. "What we have is information that a volatile package is coming to Los Angeles. The cargo itself is time-sensitive, which, knowing the Demetrios family ties to the Middle East, could mean a weapon."

"Emma," Regina spoke up, trying to get the girl to focus. "We need you to get as close to Stella as possible and see if you flash on anything related to the shipment."

" What? What? You want me to get close to my girlfriend's ex?" Emma asked, shaking her head no. " How do you want me to do that? Plus, I don't want to get her involved in all this."

"Why don't you and your girlfriend hit Club Ares tonight?" Mal stated and it almost sounded like a threat. "I hear it's supposed to be all the rage."

Later that day at the Apple store, Aladdin had a sinister plan. He breathed in Killian's face and asked. "How's my breath?"

"Like the ocean." Killian answered. "You ready?"

"Aye, aye, captain." Aladdin answered and walked out toward the cheesecake factory where he'd seen Regina walk in.

Killian came up on Ruby who was watching Aladdin walk toward the other brunette. "Are you kidding me?" She scoffed and looked at Killian. "Everybody in this place is scoring. Emma's on to her second lady. What do we got? Nothing."

Killian rolled his eyes and leaned back on the Genius table. "I don't know about you, but I intend to make the most out of the seeds I've been planting."

Ruby furrowed her brows. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm gonna tag Dorothy."

The aforementioned beauty furrowed her brows in disgust and turned to face the two discussing her. "Are you kidding? You make me sick." she spat out "I'd rather get with Ruby."

Ruby looked at the girl and her eyes lit up. Dorothy?

At the restaurant, Aladdin approaches the agent. She turned and faced him and smiled. Knowing that this kid was a friend to Emma. "Hey, Laddy, what can I get for you?"

"Aladdin," The boy said, not missing a step. His walk is arrogant and confident. Regina can see through his facade. I want to say I was sorry to hear about you and Emma. And if you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you."

As Regina listened, the smile on her face went away "That's very sweet. Thank you."

"Want to catch a movie?" He asked, "Grab a bite?"

"You're asking me out a day after I broke up with your friend?"

Aladdin's swagger swells. "All's fair in love and war, Regina."

She saw that his bravado was fake. So she put on the pressure. She became incredibly seductive. "You know what you seem like to me?"

"Hmm?" Aladdin asked, confused.

"A man who...Knows what he wants." She said coming closer to him and sitting up on the counter. "Sure, you know, We could go through all the motions- coffee, movie, dinner-" She wrapped her legs around him and pulled him close, trapping him between her legs. "or we could just skip all of that nonsense and I could just devour you right should hold us."

Aladdin completely freaked. "It's, it's an interesting, uh, thought." he said, actually feeling the woman's heat around him. "Let me think about that proposition." Regina smirked and shifted her hips seductively, almost coiling herself around him. He quickly backed up. She moved her foot and grazed his crotch and he gasped in shock "Whoops…Your feet seemed to have slipped…" she smirked watching as the man ran pretending to hear his friend calling out from the side door of the cheesecake factory. "I'm just gonna…"

Regina let pit a chuckle and followed him out. "What about that movie Al?'' Then she spotted the other woman walking past the door. "Hey, Lou." she shouted to get her attention. The younger brunette stopped and walked toward Regina. "Hi." the agent said not really sure why she needed to talk to the girl. She just had a desire to stir the pot.

Lou walked toward her and politely said. "Hi… Nice to see you again."

"You know, she's a great girl."

Lou nodded her agreement "Yeah, um, I've had the same opinion so far, too."

"It's not an opinion," Regina said. "it's a fact. Don't hurt her."

A bit annoyed about this woman butting into her relationship. But just being polite enough to keep the peace. She wondered if Emma was worth it… "Okay." Her decision is yes Emma is worth it. "Wasn't planning on it. Thanks for the heads up, though." The baby stud turned toward the door and left. " Excuse me."

She had to talk to Emma about this woman. She couldn't believe that she had to deal with this. Lou walked into the Apple store and she ran into one of the people at the door. She was a tall leggy brunette. Very cute. 'Hi. Do you know where I can find Emma?"

Ruby looked at Lou and the package she had been carrying and smiled. "Ah, the sandwich maker. I have heard so much about you."

Lou smiled. "Thank you."

"And I must be…" Ruby prompted a guess. Because surely Emma had talked about her right?

"A person who works at the Apple store?"

"Close." Ruby said disappointed in Emma. "Ruby Lucas. Emma's best friend, soul mate." Lou looked at the leggy brunette Another one? She thought boy did Emma have a preference. "Hasn't she mentioned me?"

Lou shook her head. "Sorry."

Ruby furrowed her brow and mumbled to herself,"Probably means She doesn't think you're gonna be sticking around for a while.

Just then Emma walked up to the two. "Hey."

"There you are." Lou said with a smile.

Emma smiled and looked at Ruby. "I'm glad you two finally met!"

"Yeah." Lou said with a giggle. "I brought you some lunch."

Ruby snatched the package. "Oh, thank you." SHe smelled it. Ruby has a freaky sense of smell. "Mmm, I smell salami, black olives tapenade." She looked at Lou appreciatively and nodded. "Okay Lou, this, this might actually have a shot at working out." Then she walked away with Emma's lunch.

Emma turned impressed eyes to her girlfriend. "Well, Ruby approval, that's very big."

Lou nodded, not really liking these women having so much input. "I seem to be getting that from all angles today." she said and then gritted her teeth as she said. "Just had a moment with your ex."

Emma's eyebrows shot up. "Did ya?" Lou nodded. "Yeah, she's, uh, she can be a little overprotective sometimes." and remembering what she had to talk to Lou about this Exes conversation is the perfect Segway. "But speaking of exes, um, I was thinking maybe, uh, we could go to that party thing at Ares tonight."

Lou shook her head "No. You know what? Trust me, bad plan."

Emma sighed and stated frankly, "Look, sooner or later she's gonna find out about me, and I'd rather just… Make the peace now."

Lou smiled at Emma, "Charming, beautiful and brave. You know, that's a combination I'm not used to."

Emma cringed. "Yeah, it's a little...Little new for me, too."

"We're only on our second official date, and already I'm lying to her." Emma said, standing in front of Mal's full length mirror staring at herself.

"Relax,"Mal Retorted. "It's dating in lies."Then she continued with actual work. "We're going to be tapped into the club's surveillance feed. All we need is the audio."

Finally Regina thought and began discussing equipment; "This has an RK-7 mini mic that works up to 20 feet." Then she presented her with a hideous Minnie Mouse pin. "I want you to keep it as close to Stella as possible."

Emma took the pin and held it as if it were the most disgusting thing she had ever seen. "Are you kidding me with this? I can't wear this. This looks ridiculous."

Mal and Regina rolled their eyes at the asset. "The alternative is we join you on your date." said the older blonde. While Regina just looked at Emma with a bored expression trying to hide the fact that she didn't want Emma on the date to begin with.

"Fine." Emma said and pinned it on the suspender or her slacks. She was wearing a stylish zoot slack with a crisp white button down and a tie. Her blond hair was pulled back in a sleek low ponytail swept to the right side.

Regina couldn't keep her eyes off of the blonde. She shook her head to continue what she was doing to prepare the girl. She hands her a device. "Earwig."

"It never stops with you people, does it?" Takes it exasperated and places the earwig in her right ear.

"Aren't you forgetting something, Juliette?" Mal said, handing her a single red rose.

"Let me guess." Emma said sarcastically, "This is equipped with some kind of microscopic, infrared tracking device that determines her mother's communist affiliations?"

Mal rolled her eyes. "No, 's so you can get laid." The older blonde then took a look at her partner who had registered the words she'd said and frowned.

Emma walked into the Club with Lou trying to swagger like she went out to clubs all the time. She really wasn't much into the party scene but the fact that Lou had been so well connected through her ex intimidated her.

It wasn't long before the two women were spotted at the club by the woman Emma was there to see. She walked up behind Lou and smiled. "Hello, sweetheart." Stella said, watching both women.

In the FBI Van the two agents were hyper alert, they had thought they would get more time before they met the socialite.

Inside, Lou turned to her ex and smiled a wooden smile. "Stella. Uh, this is Emma." She introduced. "Emma, Stella."

Stella smiled and took Emma in, immediately noticing the hideous Mini mouse on her suspender. " pin.I'd have worn mine, but I lost it in the '90s."

Emma smiled and looked down at her pin. "I kept mine."

Lou had enough of this conversation and pulled on Emma's Hand to walk away. "Nice to see you."

"Whoa. Whoa. Where are you going?" Stella said her heavily accented English made her charming. "At least let me buy your new friend a drink."

"No, thanks." Lou answered.

Emma stalled, Mal was in her ear immediately. "have the drink, Emma."

Emma stammered. "Yeah, maybe... Maybe just one." She said with an awkward shrug. Lou gave Emma a death glare, and Emma immediately knew she was not getting any that night.

Stella smiled and pulled the ladies to the VIP area. "Look, VIP on me."

Meanwhile Dorothy and Ruby are hanging out at Dave and Busters. Everyone else in their group had gone home and they were left alone. Ruby was playing a shooter game. Dorothy cheered heron. "Way to own the noobs, Ruby! Use your deep impact perk."

"Don't-don't backseat perk me." Ruby said without losing her concentration. "I-i know when to use my perks."

Dorothy smirked, "I have to tell you, Ruby, I think you're one of the best call of duty players in the store."

Ruby used a pause in the game to look at the beautiful Dorothy next to her. "Really?" What she had said earlier in the day came to mind and she realized that she had stayed behind when everyone else had left. So she decided maybe… "You know, i-i heard what you said to Killian. I think that you should not fight it anymore. You know, just sort of, um, succumb to your desire, you know, just…" Ruby leaned forward to try to kiss Dorothy who pushed her on the ground.

"Ruby, what are you doing?" She asked stepping back from the prone woman.

"I thought you wanted me!" Ruby said from her vantage point on the ground.

"Because I said I prefer you to Killian?" She asked incredulously. "I'd take Aladdin over 't mean I'm into that loser."

"But you'd take me over Aladdin, right?" Ruby said sitting up on the ground. Dorothy scoffed and walked over to her purse and walked away.

In a panic Ruby stood up and shouted after her. She was so Cancelled. "Okay, listen, can you keep this between me and you, please? You know, don't-don't tell anybody!"

Back in the club, Stella was pouring out shots of Vodka. "That's aged ten years in oak. Can you taste it, Em?

"Emma," She corrected and coughed a bit after downing her shot. "and, uh, yes, I think I did… I think I did taste it, although, that-that also could have been a piece of my liver."

Stella giggled, "I love this girl!"

"She's a charmer." Lou said clearly bored out of her mind. There was a reason she had left the man.

Emma smiled at Lou. "Hey, you."

"Hey." Lou said clearly annoyed.

"Hi. Can I get you something, anything? Can I get some more wine?" Emma asked her. Lou picked up her glass of wine and shook her head.

"Oh, don't do that, Em." Stella said, "You don't want to get on her bad side. Fiery italian."

"Stella…" Lou said in warning.

"What?" the socialite said in warning, preparing to make Emma feel inadequate. "You think I'm going to tell her about the trip to Mykonos where you threw a lamp at my head?" She said as she rolled up her sleeve. "Still have the scar."

Emma frowned looking down at Stella's elbow. "I thought... I thought you said she threw it at your head."

Stella smirked "She did. The scar is from the make-up sex. She's a tiger."

Mal was done hearing Emma get tortured verbally, she said. "Get on with it, Emma!"

Emma perked up at this and cleared her throat. "Um, so Stella, uh, you're in the, uh...

You're in the club game?"

"Don't worry about it." Stella stated "You seem nervous.

" I'm…" Emma started to respond

"Relax."Stella stated. Emma just wanted to go back home.

"I'm not."

Stella made a few veiled threats. In the VAn Regina and Mal were discussing feelings. Regina's feelings.

"This isn't going well. Maybe I should go in."

Mal rolled her eyes. "Same bit with you, huh?"

Regina furrowed her brows and looked at Mal,"What's that supposed to mean?"

Mal looked at Regina, her eyes expressing that she is not fooled. "You need me to spell it out? Fine. You fall for the People you work with. First Daniel, now our girl Emma."

"Daniel was a mistake," Regina admits. "and I haven't fallen for Emma."

Mal snorts, "Yeah, whatever you say." She rolled her eyes and trained them back on the monitors. "And just so we're clear, sister, not interested."

Inside the veiled threats continued. And Regina had heard enough. "That's it. I'm going in."

Mal shook her head. "Hey, no." Regina ignored her and went inside. "Hey! Mills!"

Inside the club, Lou spotted Regina walking into the club. "Emma? Isn't that your ex-girlfriend?"

Emma looked away from Stella and caught a glimpse of her. She frowned. "Yes, it is. Yes. Sorry. Uh, she's having a hard time letting go. It's happened to me before. A lot, actually. "Emma began to make excuses for Regina. "I don't... You know, I better go talk to her. I'll be right back. I'm so sorry." Emma said and made her way to the younger brunette.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Emma asked once she reached her. Regina moved closer so that she could hear. She also enjoyed the fact that Lou could see her standing so close to emma.

"I wanted to make sure you're okay."

" i'm on a… date, okay? Just, you're ruining it right now!" Emma rolled her eyes. "I'm fine!I'm fine! Just... Just go!"

"Okay, fine." Regina stated exasperated. "But your girlfriend is leaving."

Emma turned and watched as Lou was heading toward the door. She ran toward the girl asking politely to pass through,

"Hey, where are you going?

"You've spent the entire night either with my ex or yours. This date is over, okay? I'm out of here." Lou stated and made her way to the the door.

"Lou, wait." Emma shouted after her "No, don't go!Don't go!Don't go!" Emma moved to go after her, but Stella's father Yari walked in and Emma flashed on his smuggling information.

Emma pulled on her pin and began to talk. "Mal? Mal, Stella' father yari just walked in!"

"I got it." Mal said, watching the monitors. "He's heading towards his daughter. Get the mic closer. I need to hear what they're saying."Emma looks toYari, then over to Lou at the door, she moves toward the girl. "Emma, get over there! Now!" SHe sighed, duty calls "Damn it, Emma, what are you waiting for?"

"Okay. Emma said and made her way to the VIP section and tried to get back in. "Excuse me, I have to get...I was just... I literally was just in there, like, two seconds ago." Access denied. She exhaled thinking fast she still had to catch Lou. She took her pin off as she saw the waiter going to the VIP. She stuck the pin on the trey and walked away.

"Okay, Emma, this is it!" Mal said as the waiter transported the mic "Get the mic closer."

"Okay, you know what?" Emma said to the bouncer. "I probably... Was over there, so I'm going to…"

Emma didn't stick around to see if it was working she had a Lou to catch. But over the ear pieces, the team could hear Yari loud and clear say. "Thank you. 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, san pedro. The package is time sensitive, so, if it expires, we're all dead."

"Got you." Mal said

"Lou, wait"! Emma said finally catching up to a fleeing Lou who had called a cab.

But she didn't quite catch her. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Great."

Great, Just then the FBI van pulled up to him. "Nice work, Emma." Regina chipper to have broken up the date. "We know when and where the package is coming.

Mission accomplished."

"How was the date?" Mal asked

Emma sighed. "Is it me, or does our government never want me to have sex again?"
