A/N: i thik i am splitting this up into a few different stories i need bitsized chunks i don't want to not finish this... so keep hounding me and remind me of the sequel til I say it is the last story.

What do you mean Daniel is alive

Regina and Mal hadn't told Emma about the return of Daniel. Regina hadn't told Emma anything. She hadn't responded to any of her messages. What was she supposed to say. Sorry Emma I can't go out with you my Fiance is back from the dead? Not that Regina wanted to go back with him at all.

And to top it all off, When Daniel woke up the first thing he asked for was Emma. Which kinda pissed Regina off a little.

Another text from Emma came in.

Regina looked at her phone.

Emma: Please Call me.

Regina sighed She had to see Emma soon but she was going to put it off as long as possible.

At the Store, Emma was staring at her phone full of unanswered texts. "No answer yet?" Ruby asked.

Emma shook her head. "Nope… I mean did I do something wrong?"

"Who knows dude, " Ruby said and smiled at Dorothy as she walked up to her. They kissed and Emma shifted uncomfortably next to them. "Hey Ems, It's okay that Dorothy comes to Thanksgiving right?"

"Oh yeah…" Emma stated. "You know how Kathryn Loves big Thanksgiving dinners."

"Dorothy pouted and looked Ruby in the eye. "Is Kathryn going to be there?"

"Yeah…" Ruby said. "She and Emma share an apartment. "

"I know that." Dorothy said.

"Plus she makes all of my faves… like stuffing with apple chips and sweet potatoes with marshmallows…" Ruby said salivating in anticipation.

"And I know that, too…" Dorothy said looking over at Emma then back at Ruby.

Emma's eyebrows rose. "I'm sorry, is there a problem?'

"Not yet…" Dorothy said and walked away from her girlfriend.

Emma turned to her best friend in question. "I'm sorry what?"

"She's got this crazy idea that I'm in love with Kathryn." Ruby said clearly a bit intimidated by her girlfriend.

"Cause ya are!" Emma stated to her friend.

"How does everybody know that?" Ruby said.

"Cause it's what you tell everybody!" Emma stated.

"I don't know what to do Ems, I'm in love with two women." Ruby stated.

The genius team were called into a team huddle. They were preparing for the Thanksgiving closure and subsequent black friday opening. Apple things never went on sale, but the store was still unusually chaotic from spillover customers. So they had to be prepared. As they finished, Ruby pointed toward the door.

Regina was walking through..

Emma walked to her and Regina pulled her aside. Her face was serious, and Emma resisted the urge to make light of the situation. "Did you see my messages?" Emma asked.

"Emma, we need to talk." Regina said at the same time.

"Can I say something first?" Emma started.

"No," Regina interrupted.

"It's the kiss right?" Emma continued anyway, " I know it was like a life or death situation and it was a spur of the moment thing and most people would panic in a situation like that, you on the other hand, you kissed me. Which was just… Never mind I want you to come to thanksgiving with Kathryn Awesome and I. We need a cover for that, and what I am trying to ask you is uh… are we back together?"

Regina only listened. "Emma, Daniel is alive." Was all she said after all of that.

Emma's awkward smile disappeared entirely. "He's what?"

"He asked for you won't talk to any of us."

"That can't be true…" Emma stated.

"He was inside the package. Frozen and running out of oxygen." Regina stated. "Come on."

Emma looked back at the full Bar then over to Regina and followed her out to the CIA Facility.

"You told me Daniel was dead." Emma said once she was standing outside Daniel's hospital room. "I read his obituary, we went to his funeral. How is this possible?"

"I don't know Emma, He won't talk to our people." Regina said.

Emma furrowed her brows. "Not even you?"

"He hasn't seen either of us." Mal said from Emma's other side.

"Why?' Emma asked the older blonde.

"Because he asked for you." Regina said turning to face her.

"We want to know what happened to him," Mal stated. "And We think he'll talk to you."

"Hold on… you want me to walk in there and ask him what exactly?" Emma asked facing Regina. "Why did you choose to ruin my life? Why do you hate me so much that you took everything from me? How do I start that conversation."

"Just be a friend Emma, " Regina stated. "You're good at that.

"Remember he is a Rogue CIA agent, be careful." Mal asked.

Emma turned to face the infirmary room and strode toward the door. "Thanks" she whispered to Mal and walked inside.

She took one tremulous step after another and walked into Daniel's line of sight. "Who are you?" Daniel said.

"Um… Hey… its uh… its Emma… from Stanford."

"I don't believe you." Daniel said. "Where is the real Emma?"

Emma turned and went to the two way mirror. "I'd like to come out now please." when there was no response so she came back to the man that was strapped on to a very uncomfortable looking contraption. He couldn't move he was bound at five points. But Emma wasn't convinced he couldn't get himself out of that… She had seen Spies do incredible things.

"Okay… I am Emma, not a clone." she said stepping back to her old friend.

"Prove it." Daniel said looking at her. "Klingon Ko de jet la"

Emma embarrassed spoke through her teeth. "Come on.. They're watching us right now."

"Do it." Daniel growled.

Emma walked closer, "Ja pi pif Kalogh"

Daniel smiled. "Your Klingon's a bit rusty Ems."

"Yeah I've been kinda busy lately, since I got Your email."

"You opened it didn't you?"

"Yeah…"

"Your computer?"

"Destroyed."

"So you're the only one." Daniel paused.

"I don't get it Daniel, why'd you do it?' Emma asked. "Why did you send me the intersect, then why did you distroy it, and last step, how the hell are you still alive?"

"It's complicated." Daniel answered.

"Who saved you?" Emma asked

"They did."

"They saved you… did they , could you be anymore cryptic?" Emma rolled her eyes. "Could I get a name a place a something?"

Daniel signaled for Emma to get closer. "Come here…" he whispered. Emma got closer and he said. "I'm sorry Emma."

Daniel broke free of his restraint and held the syringe on the table next to him up to her neck. Then he finished untying himself and got a hold of Emma as a hostage. Regina ran in "Daniel, NO!"

"Regina, what are you doing here?' Daniel said shocked seeing his Fiance again. Then Mal walked in. "Hello Mal, care to try again?"

Everyone was in a standoff, and once again Emma was in the middle of it all.
