A/N: I tried to put in a couple of scenes with Turk trying to intimidate Gohan and being protective of Zangya. I hope you like them. Just a warning, there is a bit of sexual innuendos and things get a bit steamy near the end of the chapter, nothing graphic though so it's still should be good for rated T.

Disclaimer: I do not own Dragon ball Z.

Chapter 25

Almost a week after the failed attempt to take over the earth, The warriors of earth and their new… friends? Well, not enemies, were enjoying a leisurely afternoon in the mountains. "99,996…99,997!" Of course, by leisurely I mean they were hard at work, training. "99,998…99,999…100,000!" Turk (as he preferred to be called, regardless of the names cuddly origins) yelled out as he finished his last pushup. He hopped to his feet and dusted off his hands. "Wow, this planets' gravity is a joke! 100,000 pushups and I haven't even broken a sweat. No wonder Earthlings are so week." The blue man started laughing out loud.

"Oh yeah?" 18 said. She was leaning against a tree, not really wanting to train that much. "What does that say about you? I remember us beating you guys pretty soundly after all. How long did you last again?" The cyborg finished with a smirk.

The male Hera warrior was about to respond, but before he could get his words out someone else chimed in. "Hey! Stop teasing my Turk!" Esmerelda shouted in her husky voice, making 18 almost flinch. "He tried his best! It isn't his fault that his sister was so much stronger than him and he only lasted a few seconds!"

"I LASTED MORE THAN A FEW SECONDS!" He yelled. It was one thing for 18, a former enemy, to trash talk him, but it was much worse when it was done by his own teammate. Especially when she was actually trying to defend him. Esmerelda shrunk back at his shout, looking like she might start to cry. This of course made Turk feel terrible and he calmed down. "Ahem. Sorry Esme. Anyway, that doesn't count. Big sis is a Super Hera, not an earthling. I'm sure nobody that's actually from this planet could be much of a challenge." He said confidently.

"Oh really?" 18 stood up straight and started walking toward the bulky alien. "Care to put that theory to the test?"

"Well, I…" He didn't really like to fight women as a general rule. Especially ones who looked like they were ok with fighting dirty. 18 didn't look like she had any qualms about hitting below the belt. And she didn't. "I didn't mean you either, you've got all kinds of technological enhancements."

"I wasn't talking about me." She flipped the hair from her face. "I was talking about him." She pointed a finger over Turks shoulder and he looked behind him. Gohan in his super saiyan form, had just punched Piccolo through a tree, causing the giant oak to fall down. A second Gohan was also super saiyan, locked in combat with a full powered Zangya. They zipped around in the air, stopping in place for a few moments to trade blows, then quickly vanishing to another spot in the area. Finally, a third Gohan was a little further away. His energy was flowing all around him in a fiery yellow aura and his hands were cupped at his side. He thrust out his hands towards the sky and an intense blue beam of immense power erupted from the boy. he then resumed his stance and prepared to fire again.

The display of power from each Gohan was an impressive one to say the least. It was made all the more incredible by the fact that he was still only 12 years old. Turk had never heard of anyone obtaining that kind of power at such a young age. Even Esmerelda, one of the 4 strongest of the jade empire, was astonished by this little warriors capabilities

However, despite his great power, if recent events had taught Gohan anything, it's that he wasn't taking his training seriously enough. He knew that there were threats out there that he couldn't handle at his current strength. Who knew how many more warriors existed who were like Broly. How many other galactic empires would try to take the Earth for their own? Would he be able to defend against all of them? He didn't know if he could at his current level. He needed to get stronger.

So, Gohan devised this new training program. He would start with a warmup in the gravity chamber (Bulma felt so bad about using the dragonballs that she gifted one of her new designs to Gohan.) Then, he would spend some time sparing against his friends. The problem at first was that Gohan had grown so powerful that neither Piccolo nor Zangya presented a sufficient challenge, at least that's what they said and he couldn't really disagree. It wasn't doing him any good to keep holding back against them the way he had been. He could fight them in his base form, but then he wouldn't be able to train his super saiyan forms the way he needed to. Luckily, the multiform technique provided a great fix for this problem. By cutting his power, he could fight on more even footing against Zangya and Piccolo, while at the same time he was training multiple aspects of himself all at once. He got the Idea to use the multiform technique from Piccolo, who himself would often use the technique.

The onlookers were mesmerized by the intensity of his training. For a moment, they had forgotten what they were talking about. Then Pearl, who had been quiet all this time, spoke out. "He really is amazing, isn't he?"

Alex scoffed. "Well, I still find it hard to believe that a runt like him could take out Adamantia AND Broly."

Turk thought about that. Despite what everyone, including Broly himself, said about the kids' abilities, he just couldn't believe it. Not until he tested him for himself. He focused on the Gohan that was fighting Zangya. The kids speed and power were nothing to sneeze at. His form was flawless as well. Maybe the kid would be a fun fight. Besides, he didn't like the way the Kid was so chummy with Zangya.

As if on cue, Gohan landed a hit that drove Zangya crashing into the ground a few meters away from the blue man. The Hera woman dropped out of her transformed state and rubbed her cheek. "Owww. Geez Rice ball, I know you're trying to get stronger but there's no reason to hit me so hard." Turks eyebrow twitched as Gohan landed next to the fallen woman, then helped her up with a smile.

"Hehe, sorry Zangya but you know what they say, you mess with the bull, you get the horns."

"Yeah, and you know exactly how horny Gohan can be by now, don't you Z?" 18 had just seen a golden opportunity unfold before her. At her words, another twitch came from the male hera warrior.

"Well, I guess that's true." Zangya said, completely oblivious to the inuendo. "He does get pretty rough when he's really into it. I'm just proud that I can make him come with everything he has."

At this, it was all 18 could do to keep from laughing. Alex and Pearl were in similar situations, while Esmerelda was blushing at the implications. Turk on the other hand was gritting his teeth and a vein appeared on his head.

"Zangya is a really great partner." Gohan put in. He had yet to be corrupted by the kids at school on these matters. "And she's really built up her endurance. She used to only last for a short time but now she can go for hours and hours."

Now, Turk had gone from Blue to bright red. He had been to a lot of seedy bars in space and he knew exactly what they were talking about. Or at least, he thought he did.

"Well, pft…" 18 tried her best to keep a straight face. "You guys seem pretty happy with the situation. Of course, maybe you guys could keep the yelling down a bit."

"What?" Zangya asked. "That's actually one of my favorite parts. Besides we can't exactly help it."

"Yeah," Gohan joined in, not sure why yelling in a fight was a problem. "It's always better with intensity. Hey, maybe you could join us sometime 18."

"THAT IS IT!" Turk couldn't take any more of this kind of talk. "HOW DARE YOU USE MY SISTER AND THEN TREAT HER WITH SUCH DISRESPECT!"

Gohan and Zangya were a bit taken aback by this sudden outburst. "Koti? What're you talking about? He isn't just using me. And I'd be fine if 18 joined us once in a while."

"WHAT!"

Gohan thought he realized why this guy was so upset and he tried to play peacemaker. "Mr. Koti, I'm sorry. I'm sure Zangya means a lot to you and it must be hard to think about her in such situation. But if we don't go all out, then we don't get anything out of it. And it really isn't very satisfying…"

"SHUT UP!" Turk was livid. "And it's Turk to you kid! MR. Turk! You Got that!? Now get ready, cuz you and I are gonna fight and if I win, you will never even so much as LOOK at my sister let alone touch her!" Without any further warning, Turk lunged at the younger warrior.

Unfortunately for him, Gohan was still in his super saiyan form. Even at a fraction of his power, dealing with Turks' clumsy attacks was mere childs' play for him. He stepped nimbly to the side and Turk rushed past him, running headfirst into a tree. "Hey, you ok?" Gohan started walking over to help the guy but he immediately got back up and turned around.

"I don't need pity from you! I'm gonna make you pay! I don't care if you are a kid!" Turk ran to Gohan and started to unleash his fiercest punches in rapid succession. The young saiyan warrior just dodged all of them like they were nothing. Gohan decided that it was time to start his counter attack. He reeled a fist back, but as he swung, Turk was yanked out of the way. Painfully. By his ear.

"What the Hera do you think you're doing Koti!" Zangya yelled at the bulky man while holding him by his pointy ear.

"OW! Let me go Zangya! I'm gonna make this punk pay! OWOWOW!" Zangya twisted his ear hard.

"First of all, his name is Gohan. And what exactly are you going to make him pay for? Not that you could. I can't even beat him and he's only a third of his strength right now."

"I don't care!" The brother cried defiantly. "It doesn't matter how strong he is, I don't care if he's your chosen mate! He can't treat you like a… Like a sex slave!" Turk Yelled out his last words with as much venom as he could muster.

""What!?"" Gohan and Zangya Burst out in unison, both Bright red with embarrassment. Zangya had loosened her hold on her brothers' ear.

"He's not my mate!"

"I don't use her as a sex slave!"

"Who told you I wanted him for a mate? Was it 18!?"

"I swear we've only sparred together!"

"I mean he is really strong and good looking but…"

Now everyone was paying extremely close attention to Zangya, especially Gohan. Pearl had managed to somehow get popcorn and she along with the other three girls were just enjoying the show. Zangya had just realized what she said and blushed even harder.

"I-I-I mean, He's still too young for that, and so am I for that kind of thing and just because I've had dreams about SHUT UP 18!"

The blonde cyborg was laughing up a storm as she rolled on the ground.

Turk was trying to process everything he had heard. "So… You aren't using my sister for… You know?" He asked Gohan.

""NO!"" Both he and Zangya replied. They looked at each other and blushed even deeper.

Turk thought for a moment. "But… But the way you two interact. And what you guys were saying. I thought for sure you were…"

"Well, we aren't!" Zangya said with a tone of finality, though there was a hint of disappointment in her voice. She looked around at the others, daring them to say anything else. To her surprise, Esmerelda came up to her, grabbed her by both hands and leaned in close with a huge grin on her face. "Welcome to the team big sister!"

Zangya blinked. "Team?" Esmerelda leaned in closer to whisper into her ear. "The team of maidens in love."

Zangya blinked once. Twice. Three times. Then, without saying anything else, she took off, flying away at top speed. All the while blushing like crazy.

Esmerelda just folded her arms and nodded sagely. Yep. Definitely a maiden in love.

Break.

While Gohan number 1 had been interrogated regarding his relationship with Zangya, Gohan number 2 was still giving his all in his spar against Piccolo. The namekian swayed back to avoid a vicious right hook and countered with a high kick aimed at Gohans temple. The half saiyan ducked, waited for the kick to clear his head and then he jumped up to deliver an upper cut into the green man's jaw. Piccolo narrowly avoided the blow and he threw a spinning back elbow that impacted directly into the kids' side and sending him flying. Gohan flipped in mid-air and landed on his feet, only to launch himself once more at his sparring partner. Just before he reached him, Piccolo stood up from his stance and said. "Time for a break."

Gohan skid to a halt but had yet to drop his killer expression. "You going soft on me Piccolo? We were just getting warmed up." Gohan taunted. Truth be told, he was getting tired, but that just made him want to push harder. He still had a long way to go before he could get to the level he wanted after all. Piccolo just glared at him making Gohan smirk.

"Go ahead and power down. We're going to take a short break, then resume with you in your base form."

"What? Why? I thought it would be best if I trained while super saiyan. That's how me and dad got so powerful before." Gohan question, though he still obeyed his teacher and dropped out of super state.

"The other yous' can work on that. The point of the multiform technique is for us to get the most out of your training, right?"

"Well, yeah. That's true."

"So, while one of you works on training in your super saiyan state, another one can train in your base form. The base you can work on perfecting your technique and strategy and the others can work on your energy and maintaining control while transformed."

Gohan thought that made a lot of sense. Besides, getting stronger in his base form would only increase his super saiyan form. The only reason he trained in his super saiyan form was so that it remained second nature to him. He didn't want it to become rusty, and he especially didn't want to be so unused to the form that he gave into his rage whenever he transformed. "Alright sounds good to me."

"Besides," Piccolo added, "even at a third of your strength, you're still stronger than I am if you transform. This way, when you fight me in your normal state, you can get a better feel for how to deal with opponents who are stronger than yourself."

Due to Gohan being half saiyan, he had gotten a zenkai boost every time he recovered from serious injury. Having been heavily damaged by Cell, Bojack and, more recently, Broly, Gohan had received a massive boost in power from zenkai alone. Not to mention he had been training hard ever since just after Cell, with the exception of the month he was grounded. Because of this, along with the fact that he was still growing, his rate of improvement was vastly superior to any other z fighter. All this combined made it easy to see why nobody was really able to match Gohan, though it did hurt Piccolo's pride to admit it.

"That's actually a really good idea." Gohan said. "But then what about you? you probably won't get much out of it if you only fight me like that."

"That's easily fixed. Me and Zangya will just alternate. That way you can get more variety in your opponents."

"That makes sense." Gohan was glad that he had Piccolo for a teacher. He may not have been as strong as his father, but he was a genius when it came to training. He knew exactly how to get the most out of the training for Gohan and always had great ideas on how to get the fastest growth possible. The fact that all the knowledge and wisdom that Kami possessed now belonged to Piccolo as well only added to his skill as a teacher.

"Right. By the way, on an unrelated note," Piccolos expression became more somber. "How did that visit go?"

Gohan's face grew grim. He didn't have to ask what Piccolo meant by 'that visit'.

Flashback

After Gohan had found out that the dragonballs couldn't be gathered for another month, he had left the Briefs compound feeling depressed. He flew threw the sky feeling just as guilty as he had before. Hercule had died and it was his fault. the city was preparing a funeral for the deceased champion. Gohan was hoping that he could wish him back before all that happened, but it seemed that it wasn't to be. He thought of all the people who would be saddened by the loss of Mr. Satan, especially…

"Wait a minute. What about Mr. Satans daughter. I bet she's sick with grief." Gohan suddenly thought about the person who would of course miss Hercule the most. Videl. "Maybe I should tell her about the dragonballs. That should at least cheer her up. After all, it's only a month. It'll be like he just went on a really long trip." With this line of thought, Gohan felt an uptick in his optimism. While it wasn't great news, it was still pretty good to know that your father would be brought back to life. He flew towards the Satan mansion with renewed hope. A hope that he wanted to share with the daughter of his friend.

When he landed in front of the mansion, he knocked at the door. He didn't have to wait long before it was opened by a girl with black hair, about the same age as himself. She had dark circles under her eyes, and she looked like she had been crying all night. Gohan recognized her as the girl he had saved from those thugs a while ago.

"Um, are you Videl Satan?" he asked.

Videl had not slept at all since her father died and she was crying almost nonstop. She was a little disoriented and didn't recognize the boy in front of her at first. Then, realization hit her and her grief was replaced by rage.

"YOU!" The shout made Gohan step back a bit. "What do you want huh!? Are you here to take my house away from me too!?"

"What? Why would I take away your house?" Gohan was confused and had no idea why she was being this hostile.

"Don't act like you don't know! You may not have blonde hair anymore but I know you're the Gold fighter. You took everything from me! It's your fault my dad's dead! But if you think that just because you were his disciple you can come in here and take away my home, then you've got another thing coming!"

Gohan felt a pang of guilt as she blamed him for her loss. He couldn't defend himself against her words because, in his mind, they were true. "I didn't come to take your house. I just wanted to tell you that…"

"Save it!" She cut across him. "I don't want to hear anything from you. You were strong enough to beat those aliens already. There was no reason for my dad to die! Oh wait, I bet you wanted him out of the way! Yeah, that's it. You were tired of living in the shadow of a man who was ten times the hero you were so you just let him die! Now you got all the fame for yourself! Are you happy now!?"

"It isn't like that!" Gohan said firmly, but Videl wasn't having it.

"Spare me!" She yelled as fresh tears started to fall. "I don't care what you do from now on, but don't you dare come anywhere near me again. I will never forgive you for what you've done! Now get lost! Don't ever show your face around here again!" and with that, she slammed the door in the young man's face.

End flashback

"So, she basically blames you for her fathers' death, huh?" Piccolo summed up.

"Well she's right. It is my fault. I could have stopped him from fighting at all. I could have gotten there before him. I could have…"

"You could have done a lot of things Gohan. I could have done something too. But there's a reason why we didn't and deep down, I think you know that reason. Hercule Satan may have been a buffoon, he may have even been the most pompous man I've ever met, but he was also a warrior." Piccolo stated the last word with a hint of pride. "That means something to men like us. That man had spent his entire career believing that he was the pinnacle of martial arts. But then he met us. Beings that he could never hope to compare to. He had climbed the mountain, only to find that it was a mere foothill. That the true climb hadn't even begun. That fight was to prove to himself that he could make it to the top. And it was a fight to regain his honor." He looked meaningfully at Gohan.

Gohan was silent. Piccolo was right. He knew that. But that didn't make it easier to accept. He couldn't help but remember the pain that he saw in Videls' eyes and feel responsible. Were things like 'Honor' and walking the path of a warrior really worth all that pain? He honestly couldn't say. It reminded him of why he hated conflict to begin with. And also, why he needed to become stronger. "All I know is I'm going to bring him back." Gohan said out loud.

Piccolo smiled. "I know you will. But, in the mean-time, we've got training to do. Break times over."

Gohan dropped back down to his stance, Glad that he could turn his mind to his training. "Ready when you are Mr. Piccolo."

Break

Otherworld: Grand Kais palace

Goku followed the four Kais through the Palace of the Grand Kai. South, East and West Kais all walked through a door labeled conference room. Goku was about to do the same when he was stopped abruptly by King Kai. "Listen Goku," The Portly Kai said with a voice of warning. "I know you're going to have a lot of questions, and I will answer all that I can. But while we are in there, I need you to remain as quiet as possible and show nothing but the utmost respect for the Kais in there."

Goku was a little confused by the seriousness of his mentor. What was the big deal? He'd already met the other Kais and they all seemed like they weren't that big of a deal. Even Grand Kai seemed pretty easy going. But he didn't want to upset King Kai, so he just nodded his head and said "I'll be on my best behavior King Kai, I promise."

"That's what I'm afraid of." The blue Kai replied with a worried expression. Then he turned around and walked through the door. Goku followed and was unprepared for what he saw.

"WOAH! LOOK AT ALL THE COLORS!" Goku yelled out, causing King kai to pace palm and every eye in the room to turn towards the loud mortal with disapproving looks. To be fair, Gokus shock was not unwarranted. For instead of the handful of Kais that he expected, the room was filled with Kais of all the colors of the rainbow. "King Kai, who are all these people?" He asked loudly, embarrassing the North Kai.

"Would you please be quiet Goku!?" King Kai hissed, grabbing his students arm and dragging him to a corner.

"I'm sorry King Kai, I just didn't think there would be so many of you guys."

King Kai breathed out a sigh. "I suppose that's reasonable. You see, not many mortals are privy to the hierarchy of the Kais. Most are unaware of our existence altogether and the few who do know of us only ever interact with myself or my counterparts. Very rarely will a mortal meet anyone above the grand Kai."

"Wait, there's someone above the Grand Kai? Is he strong!? When can I meet him!?" Goku was thrilled at the thought of an even stronger opponent to face. Unfortunately for him, King kai shut that down immediately.

"I just told you that meeting Grand Kai is already a high honor. You will likely never see any of the supreme Kais Goku."

"Supreme Kais? Like there's more than one?" Goku was sure that he could get at least one of them to fight him.

"I suppose I'd better start at the top. You see, there is one supreme kai who rules over all the cosmos, a Grand supreme Kai if you will. Directly under him are the 4 supreme Kais of the east, west, north and south."

"I thought that you were the north Kai king kai?"

"Stop interrupting." The blue kai said annoyed. "I am the North kai for our part of the universe, but the universe is so large that it would be impossible to only have 4 beings over seeing it. So, each supreme also has 4 grand kais to help them administrate and they in turn have 4 directional Kais who rule over a galaxy, or a cluster of galaxies."

Goku was thinking hard and looking at his fingers. "One times four, times four, times four… OH WOW!" he said with a shocked expression. "So, there are actually 444 of you guys!? We really do have a big universe!"

"NO, YOU DUMBY!" King Kai shouted. "There are supposed to be 85 Kais altogether. Of course, the supreme kais have yet to find the necessary replacements, so right now there is only one of them."

Goku was about to ask what happened to the other 4 supreme kais, but was silenced by a gavel calling the meeting to order. Every participant in the room gathered to the center, where 16 Grand kais of varying colors and appearances were sitting in a circle. The rest of the directional Kais took a seat behind their respective grand Kai. Goku couldn't see a place for him to sit, so he just stood behind King Kai and waited.

"I call this council of the Kais to order!" The Grand Kai that Goku knew seemed to be leading the meeting, henceforth known as grand kai actual. "Before we begin, are there any matters to bring before this body?" He looked around, but every member was silent. "Very well, then we shall proceed to the true purpose of this meeting. It seems that a great disturbance has appeared within my domain. The source of this seemed to emanate from one Son Gohan of the planet Earth. We are gathered here today to discuss how this issue is to be dealt with. The floor is open." The normal laid-back demeanor of the Grand kai actual had become very serious. Goku wondered why they were taking this whole thing about his son so far.

"It is my opinion," Started a Grand Kai who was 3 seats to the left of Grand Kai actual, "that we should just seal him away. No sense in getting our hands dirty."

"I agree." A female Grand Kai said. "I don't think it is necessary that we kill him. He is only a child after all." There were a few murmurs of assent at this point.

"Are you mad, woman!?" a Kai that looked even more ancient than Grand kai actual bellowed. "If there's one thing I know, it's that no seal lasts forever. If we seal him away then he'll just break out again and wreak his vengeance on us. His kind always does. It's better that we just kill him now."

"He's right." A green Grand kai agreed. "Child or no, he must be destroyed before he is able to cause any harm. We were lucky to catch this when we did, but if he is allowed to grow more powerful, then we are lost."

"Perhaps you are right, but can we even destroy him? For the brief moment that I felt his power it was clear to me that, even if we combined our strength, we would pose no challenge to him. I feel that sealing is the only option."

"But you forget Lord Beerus!" Cried one of the Kais. "Surely he could handle this no problem."

This earned him a lot of dirty looks for suggesting the worst idea ever. Grand Kai actual decided to nip it in the bud. "Beerus the destroyer is still in his sleeping cycle and will be for some time yet. I find it unwise to wake him unless it's absolutely necessary. That being said, I don't think we need to resort to Beerus in this matter."

"That's true." The green kai stated. "I doubt that this Son Gohan has full control of his power, meaning he is just like any other mortal. The grand Kais could handle him without much issue."

A loud argument broke out about whether to just seal Gohan away, or outright destroy him. Goku heard the arguments on both sides and was furious when he realized that nobody was trying to advocate for Gohan. Either he be sealed away for eternity for no reason, or he gets killed. Goku knew that he had Promised King Kai to behave, but this was his son they were talking about. The boy who loved to study and go fishing. The little boy who cried when he got a cut on his knee. The person who hated senseless violence more than anyone. All these thoughts bubbled up inside of the saiyan until they finally erupted in a shout.

"HEEEEEYYYY! SHUT YOUR MOUTHS!"

At his sudden outburst, the room went silent and King Kai went Ghostly white. The Kai who originally suggested killing Gohan eyed Goku angrily. "And just who is this mortal who dares to speak with such disrespect in the presence of the Grand Kais?"

"I'm Son Goku! Father of Son Gohan!" this caused a rush of murmurs to sweep across the crowd. "Now that you all know who I am, who are you to decide the fate of my son so casually!?" righteous fury shone in Gokus' eyes and all the Kais from his end of the galaxy became nervous.

"Mr. Son," the female Grand Kai spoke to Goku. "It is very noble of you to want to defend your son, But I fear that you may not know just how dangerous a person he is."

"I don't know what the big deal is, But I'm sure you've got the wrong person. Gohan wouldn't hurt a fly!" Unless you count Cell. "And he's saved not only the earth, but the universe on several occasions. There's no way he would destroy it."

"Goku." Grand Kai actual called the saiyans attention to him. "Why don't you share how it is that Gohan has saved the universe. Maybe that would help us see things from your point of view."

Goku smiled, glad of the opportunity. "Well, first he defeated Cell. He was this super powerful android who threatened to destroy earth. He said that when he was finished with the earth, he would travel the universe and terrorize it. He would have done so too, if Gohan hadn't stepped in and beaten him." Goku summed up the situation with Cell and looked around at the Kais. None of them looked all that impressed.

"Even if he was as powerful as you say, this 'Cell' was never anything but a threat to the earth. And while we are pleased that a planet was not destroyed, it hardly amounts to anything in the grand scheme of things." A rather fat looking Grand Kai said.

"Alright then, what about Bojack and his gang?" Goku questioned. "Those guys broke free of their seal and Gohan stopped them. I'm pretty sure they were a threat to the universe, right King Kai?"

King Kai shrunk as the eyes of all the Grand Kais turned to him. "Um… Yes, that is true. Gohan did defeat Bojack and his Galactic soldiers."

This news did impress a few of the Kais. Bojack had rampaged across many galaxies until he was finally stopped by being sealed in a star. However, it did nothing but reinforce the opinion of the Kai who wanted Gohan dead. "That proves that sealing does nothing but delay the inevitable. He must be dealt with and fast!" Though some of the Kais were willing to hear more from Goku.

"Then, just recently, He defeated a guy called the Jade emperor."

The news was met with dead silence.

"Young man." The Green grand kai said. "Are you saying that the Jade emperor is dead? And that it was your son who killed him?"

"That's right!" Goku was sure this would impress them. From what he gathered, the jade emperor was a lot like Frieza, conquering planets and enslaving the inhabitants. If stopping a guy like that didn't score you some points with the Kais, he didn't know what would.

"Then I'm afraid that the boy must die." He spoke with a sudden animosity that twisted his green features.

"What!? How is that a bad thing?"

"For your information, The Jade emperor was not considered a threat to the universe. He hailed from my quadrant and, though his means were brutal and his intentions less than pure, he brought peace to many of the planets in our realm."

"You mean he brought them into servitude." Goku spat back.

"Well, perhaps, but I don't expect a mortal like you to understand. Now that Jade is Gone, many systems will fall into chaos." The Green grand kai finished.

"Well, I disagree with that completely." Some of the Grand Kais who had stayed silent were starting to speak out. They didn't much care for the jade empire and were glad to hear that something had been done about him.

"Regardless of how the Jade emperor is viewed among the Kais, this only enforces my point." The ancient grand kai said. "The boy is already powerful and dangerous."

"If you keep talking about killing my son, I'll show you just what real danger looks like!" Goku stared at the old man.

"Are you threatening me mortal?"

"You bet I am. Anyone who wants to try and harm my son will have to go through me first!" An impressive surge of power flowed from Goku, startling many of the Kais present.

"Well, little mortal, I must say you have some nerve to set yourself against us. But if it is your wish, I will be happy to wipe you from this plain of existence!"

"I do not believe that will be necessary." A calm voice drew every ones' attention to the new speaker. A short, purple kai with a white mohawk stood just outside the circle of Kais. As soon as they saw him, everybody in the room bowed down low to honor the Supreme Kai. Everyone but Goku that is.

The supreme Kai walked up to the saiyan and looked him up and down. "Hello Goku, I am the Supreme Kai."

Not knowing what else to do, Goku stuck out his hand to shake. Looking at the offered limb with surprise, the Supreme kai smiled and extended his own. "Nice to meet you sir."

"Likewise. I have watched both you and your son's lives with great interest." The supreme Kai returned.

"Really? That's great! Listen, I think there's been a huge misunderstanding here. Everyone seems to think that my son is some sort of monster. If you've seen all the good that my son has done, maybe you could straighten them out."

The entire room held its breath as it awaited the supreme Kais response. "I would be happy to help you Goku." Gokus' whole face lit up. "Unfortunately, I cannot."

Gokus face darkened again. "Why not!?"

"You see Goku," The kaioshin started to explain. "While I do not believe your son is a monster who would willfully destroy the universe, things are more complicated than you know."

"What do you mean?"

"I suppose it's best to start at the beginning. You see Goku, long ago, at the beginning of all things, the king of all, Lord Zeno, created the universe. But the universe couldn't very well be left alone with nobody to tend to it. So, he created a planet in the very center of the universe with many fruit baring trees. The fruit of these trees were special. Each one that sprung forth from the branches became a person. A core person to be exact. The Core people were endowed with special powers, powers that would allow them to govern the universe and take care of it. This is where the Kais come from. The kais create planets and nurture life, tending to the universe like a gardener to his flowers."

Goku thought that all sounded strange, but so far, he was following.

"While most of the core people born from the tree are pure hearted and good, that is not always the case. One day, the tree brought forth a different kind of fruit. This fruit gave birth to a very different kind of core person. One that was not pure hearted and who had a dark and sinister energy. It was a demon or a Majin as we call them."

"Sorry to interrupt sir, but what has this got to do with my son?" Goku asked rather impatiently. Some of the kais looked deeply offended that he would try to rush the supreme kai but Shin just smiled patiently.

"You will see. Now, the birth of the Majin was an unprecedented event in the universe and nobody knew what to make of it. But it soon became clear that this was not to be the only one. Soon another Majin was born, then another and another. These Majins were not like the Kais. They did not care for the task that had been set upon us to nurture life. They only sought destruction. And so, they went about the universe, undoing all that the Kais had worked so hard to build. Even though the Kais outnumbered the Majins a hundred to one, we could do nothing to stop their rampage. They had been blessed with superior strength and magical ability. They could even transform into a godly state, magnifying there powers many times over. We were helpless and it seemed like the universe was doomed before it could even really begin. But then, Just as all hope seemed lost, the tree bore another kind of fruit. A golden fruit with energy as powerful and as pure as the Majins' power was corrupt. The fruit became the first Supreme kai. The Grand Supreme Kai."

"With his awesome power, this new champion was able to drive back the Majins and preserve our universe. He sealed them away at the bottom of the universe in the dark dimension. A place now known as the demon realm."

"Oh, I've been there. I even fought a few of them to rescue this princess. They gave me a great fight." Goku remembered how he had fought against a great martial artist named Shulla. He really did have fun there now that he thought about it. "But you know, they weren't all that bad. Not like the ones you described."

"Indeed." Shin agreed. "That is because the ones you faced are mere shadows of the true Majins. They are the descendants of the demon gods, endowed with great power, and cursed with a thirst for mayhem. Still, even the mightiest of one of these would be less than a flea when compared to their Majin ancestors. Trust me Goku, if you had encountered a Majin, you would not have lived to tell of it."

"Wow, sounds incredible."

Shin nodded. "Yes. It is a threat that every Kai has been mindful of since they were sealed away all those eons ago. And that brings us back to your son. The power that Gohan was using in his battle against Broly was the exact same type of energy as the demon gods possessed."

"WHAT! You're saying that Gohan is some kind of demon! How is that even possible!? I'm pretty sure I'm not a demon."

"I do not know how or why your son is only manifesting this dark power now. But it is not too hard to deduce that he inherited it from his mother's bloodline."

"From Chichi!? I mean yeah, she can be a bit scary sometimes, but calling her a demon is going a little far." Then he suddenly remembered all those times she made him go to the doctors for his shots. "Ok, maybe it's not that far of a stretch."

"Especially considering who her father is. Do you not recall that his name is 'Demon ox king'?"

"Yeah but I always thought that was because everyone thought he was so scary or strong or something. Your telling me he is a real demon? How?"

"Your father in law is only part demon. As for the how, you said yourself that you have been to demon realm. While the Majin have yet to break free of their dark prison, they have succeeded in making the smallest of cracks. Ones small enough for a demon to break through and spread their darkness through the mortal world. Or perhaps a mortal wandered through a portal and came back to bear a hybrid offspring. Regardless of how it happened, one thing is clear. Your son has inherited the power of the Majin. If it consumes him, then the whole of existence is doomed. That isn't even considering that he might attempt to free the others. Even a single one of them could conquer the universe in a rather short time. Imagine what all of them together could do."

"Wait a minute, what about the grand supreme kai? You said that he could handle these guys no sweat."

Shin looked uncomfortable. "Due to some… unfortunate events, Daikaioshin is no longer with us. I'm afraid that the only way to subdue the threat is to take preemptive action."

Goku tried to take all this in. Gohan was a demon? Chichi wasn't going to like that. But wait, she was a demon too, so he probably wouldn't get in too much trouble. Thinking about it, everything about Gohans hidden potential made sense now. He remembered when Gohan stood against Garlic jrs dead zone without even flinching. And the way he had a seemingly endless supply of energy that only came out when he was feeling negative emotions. How he was so kind and peaceful but when he was angry, he became more vicious and sadistic than any villain Goku had ever faced.

"Do you see Goku? Your son may be innocent now, but what about in a few years? What happens when his demonic nature starts to consume him?"

But then a thought brought peace to the mind of Goku.

"Supreme Kai, you don't have anything to worry about. Not with my son." Goku gave him a reassuring smile.

The supreme Kai was shocked. "Goku, were you not listening? It is imperative that steps be taken to prevent a catastrophe!"

"Oh, I was listening alright, but now I'm gonna tell you something. Gohan may be powerful. He may even be a demon or Majin or whatever. But one thing he isn't, is evil. He despises evil more than anything. Even in his moments of rage, when 'the demon' is closest to consuming him, he only does harm to those who deserve it. He can't be like these demon gods you described, because Gohan only fights to preserve life. To protect the innocent. So, there's no way that he's going to be a threat to the universe." Goku finished very matter of factly.

The supreme Kai stared at this mortal, who despite all evidence still held unshakable trust in his son. Such blind faith was…refreshing. The words of Goku filled Shin with light and hope. Such feelings he hadn't felt since his mentor, the Grand supreme Kai, was alive. With a smile, he finally conceded defeat to his opponent. "Very well Goku, I will trust in your words. No attempt shall be made on your son."

Shock erupted through the kais. One Kai felt outraged enough to actually question the supreme kai. "But Supreme Kai, the boy is clearly a danger to…"

"For now," Shin cut off his subordinate. "We will keep a close eye on him and observe. If he gives us any reason to doubt him, then I'm sorry Goku, but we will have to act."

Goku nodded. "Trust me supreme kai, Gohan won't let you down."

"For all our sakes, I hope you are correct." Shin said as he walked out of the room.

Break.

It was a lovely day on earth. The sun was shining, a gentle breeze was breezing and the seagulls were… gulling. In short, it was perfect weather for the beach.

"Alright 18, here it comes!" Gohan shouted as he served the volley ball. Training was great, but his father always said that relaxing was just as important. Besides, in a way, beach volleyball was training. He had to focus really hard not to disintegrate the ball with his hits. He also had to control his strength so he wouldn't send the thing into orbit. Luckily, he was able to do both just fine.

"I got it!" 18 called out while getting in the right position to return the serve. She was wearing a stylish blue bikini that showed off just enough skin. Though, Gohan wasn't sure why. Did cyborgs even tan? 18 hit the ball back over the net toward Alex, who only teamed up with Gohan to get a chance to beat 18. The white alien jumped up and spiked the ball down, sure that it was going to be a point, but at the last minute, a white blur came in and saved it.

"Dammit Pearl! That was going to be my point!" Alex yelled.

"Sorry, that's how the game works." Both alien twins where wearing very different swimsuits. Alex had donned a sporty two-piece swimsuit, while Pearl… Pearl had somehow gotten ahold of a blue school swimsuit. She was getting a lot of creepy looks because of it, especially since her body type wasn't that far off from the average school girls, but she thought it looked cool.

The ball had come back to Gohan and he bumped it over to his teammate. "It's all yours Alex." The angry twin readied herself, but at the last minute, she felt something hard and slimy attack her ankle. "HEY! WHAT THE!"

As she looked down, her foot was being attacked by a syrupy, blackened pancake stack. "Get this disgusting thing off of me!" she yelled out while shaking her foot. She finally kicked the sentient breakfast food loose, but it was too late, the ball had landed right by her foot.

"Hurray! We did it! Great work Jemima!" Pearl rushed over and hugged her pet pancake.

"Dammit Pearl! That doesn't count! That was cheating!" Alex roared.

"Your just jealous that you don't have an adorably awesome partner like Jemima here." She gestured to her pancakes.

Not wanting to get involved in a sibling debate, Gohan walked away from the volley ball court while laughing. Before he could get very far though, a giant blue figure got in his way.

"Where do you think you're going?" Turk said with some hostility.

"Um, I was just…"

"You were just about to accept my challenge is what you were going to do!"

"Er, ok. What's the challenge?"

"Hehe, not a coward after all eh? Good. But that alone doesn't make you fit to be my sisters' mate!"

Gohan blushed. "Look, I told you, it isn't like that."

"Yeah, yeah. I don't buy it. I see the way you look at her and I don't like it. But…" He looked Gohan up and down. "I might consider it if you can beat me in this challenge."

Gohan though for a moment He really wasn't trying to make Zangya his anything. They were just friends. But then, she was really beautiful. And strong. And fun. And amazing. And… "Alright. If I win, then Zangya is..." He was going to say that Zangya was his, but Gohan couldn't even finish he was blushing so hard. "If I win then Zangya can do what she wants." Gohan Stated while looking Turk straight in the eye.

Turk growled. "Grrr you think I'll let you have her so easily!? I'll make sure you never take my sister as your mate! You see this first challenge is one that I have never lost. ARM WRESTLING!" Turk whipped out a table from nowhere and slammed it on the sand along with 2 chairs. He sat down and put his elbow on the table, Gohan followed suite and the two clasped hands. "Alright. Now I'm going to count backwards from 10. When I hit 0 Then we begin. Got it?" Gohan nodded.

Ten seconds later.

Turk was on the ground along with a broken table and his eyes rolled back into his head. Gohan was just sitting there, smiling happily. "So, does that mean I win?"

This comment roused Turk from his pain. "NO! No, that wasn't the real challenge!" He looked around frantically. "Er, right! Skipping stones! The furthest one win!" Turk picked up a stone and threw it into the ocean. Normal eyes wouldn't have been able to see just how far it actually went, but Turk and Gohan could follow it just fine. When it finally stopped, Turk grinned at Gohan and folded his arms. "Beat that!" Gohan grabbed a stone, tossed it up in the air a few times, the let it rip. The speed was so great that the ocean itself parted, the stone sailed clear over the place where Turks stopped. Turks growled as Gohan looked at him.

"Let me guess. That wasn't the real challenge either."

"No! Of course, it wasn't!" Turk was getting angry. But he realized his mistake. He had challenged the one who defeated Broly to feats of strength. What he really needed to do was challenge him to a test of skills. He looked at the ocean that was no longer parted. "Fishing! One minute, ready go!"

A minute later, Turk came up out of the ocean with a fish the size of a car. "Aha! Beat that you sister stealing…" He Paused when he looked toward the shore. Gohan was waving at him and right next to him was a fish the size of a house, already roasting over a fire.

"I MEANT TREE CLIMBING!" Gohan beat him to the top of the tree with a smile.

"STAR FISH COLLECTING!" Gohan had a giant bag full of them while Turk had 5.

"WHISTLING!" Gohan, joined by a purple dragon, performed an amazing little number complete with dance moves. His act received the applause of everyone present.

"THAT! IS! IT!" Turk yelled. His voice was starting to get horse. (Get it? Because Sagittarius.) "This!" He breathed out. "Is the last challenge." Turk may have lost in every other challenge, but he had one secret skill that he was saving as his trump card. He had won awards for this skill from all over the Universe and it was time to use it to protect his sister. "Sand castle building." He produced a pale and a shovel.

"Hey, how do you keep pulling things out of thin air like that?" Gohan asked. "you know, like with the table and now bucket…"

"What are you talking about?" Turk asked with genuine confusion. "I always carry a shovel and pale with me."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Are you ready to start?"

"Sure. Let's just get this over with."

30 minutes later.

Hehehe. That brat won't know what hit him. Turk was putting the finishing touches on an elaborate sand castle. It had spires, turrets, a mote, windows, spiraling staircases. It even had a little king and queen in front of it.

"OH MY GOSH, THAT LOOKS AMAZING!" Turk turned around at his sisters' voice. Pride etched on his face at the praise Zangya was bestowing on his masterpiece. "Well, big sis, the secret to making a great sand castle is…"

"Gohan! How did you get such detail in these archways!? And those turrets!? It's like an actual castle." Turks face turned to stone when he saw what Zangya was actually looking at. It was a 4 story building made entirely from sand. Gohan had somehow constructed a life size castle that not only had all the details that Turk had, but it also had catapults and trebuchets mounted on the walls.

"Well, I based it off of the castle that my Grandpa used to have. Of course, his was on fire. Which is why he doesn't have it anymore. But he has shown me pictures." Gohan rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"It's just so big! And impressive!" Zangya stated.

18, always ready to tease her friend, just couldn't help herself. "I'm sure that you'd be the best judge of 'big and impressive' when it comes to Gohan, right Zangya?"

This time, due to some talks with Chichi, the inuendo was understood perfectly. The shade of red on the normally blue woman's face matched perfectly with her scarlet one-piece swimsuit. Unable to say anything further, she resorted to chasing her cyborg tormentor around the beach.

While all the girls were gathered around Gohans' amazing masterpiece, Turk looked down at his castle that only came up to his knee. Esmerelda came up to him with her arms behind her back. "I think you have a much better castle Turk. Size isn't everything you know."

"Thanks Esme."

On this day, from the ashes of Turks defeat, there arose a new intergalactic sand castle champion. It seemed that Son Gohan truly was Earths greatest champion.

Break

Later that night at the Son home.

Gohan was in his room, getting ready for bed. He had really enjoyed himself today. He had actually had a lot of fun with Turks challenges. He was a little intimidated by Zangyas brother at first. Not really because he was afraid of him, just because he was so in your face about everything. He really seemed to care for his sister though. Maybe he's not such a bad guy after all.

Speaking of Zangya, that was another part of the beach he had particularly enjoyed. After he had finished his sand castle, he helped Zangya dunk 18 in the water for teasing them so much. Then they just played around, which Gohan hadn't done in so long. He found it easy to relax with her. They just fit well together. He couldn't place his finger on why.

Speaking of good fits, Gohans mind drifted to the swimsuit that Zangya wore. It wasn't too revealing, but it showed off her body perfectly. She had a slender build, though she still had curves in all the right places. It was an image Gohan found hard to get out of his head. Not that he really tried.

A knock at the door snapped him out of his daydream. A little annoyed, he walked over to open it. To his surprise, Zangya was standing there already in her purple pajamas with a shy look on her face. She looked incredibly adorable.

"Zangya? What are you doing here?" Gohans voice cracked.

"Hey Gohan. Mind if I come in for a minute?"

"Um no, I guess not." Gohans mind was racing. Why would she be here this late?"

"Thanks." She sauntered into the room and plopped herself down on the bed.

Gohan just stood at the door and looked at her. A sweet scent wafted through the air, stimulating Gohans senses. Was it strawberries? He looked closer at his friend. One knee was pulled tight to her chest while the other leg hung over the side of the bed. Her lips glistened and Gohan couldn't help but feel like they were calling to him. He noticed that the points of her ears were tinged with a slight reddish hue.

"Gohan? Would you mind maybe not just standing there? You're making me nervous." She said shyly.

"Well, I uh…" said the ever articulate Gohan.

"Come sit on the bed with me. I just wanted to talk a bit." She patted the mattress next to her and he walked over automatically. Sitting down, Gohan put both hands together and started twiddling his thumbs. "W-what did you want to talk about?"

Zangya fixed him with an intense stare with those lovely sapphire eyes. Gohan could almost get lost in those eyes. "I heard about your little bet with Koti."

"O-oh really?" Gohan wasn't sure where this was going. "What about it?"

"I know that he challenged you and essentially put me up for the prize." Her tone was completely neutral.

Gohan, on the other hand, started to panic. "Listen Zangya it isn't like that. He was just trying to be a good big brother, not offer you as a prize. In fact, I don't think he even considered losing."

"Oh, I'll deal with Koti later." She said with a little heat. "Right now, I want to talk about the part you played." Now Gohan was in for it. He closed his eyes and readied himself for the blowup. "How you said that if you win that I was free to do what I wanted." He opened his eyes and looked at her. She had an odd smile on her face. "Rather than try to win me like some prize, you actually value my opinion and want me to choose for myself." She leaned in closer to the young half saiyan. Yup, definitely strawberries.

"Well, Yeah. I mean, you're your own person and everything…" Gohan could barely think straight. Everything about the situation was causing his head to spin.

"Well, I just want you to know that I think that was very." She inched closer. "Sweet." Closer. "Of." Closer. "You." Now Gohan was backed up against his bedroom wall as Zangya was an inch from his face. The two gazed into each other's eyes. Finally, Gohan spoke up. "Zangya, I…" He was cut off by her lips smashing against his. His eyes went wide as Zangya kept deepening the kiss. Finally, Gohan Managed to regain a modicum of sense and he pushed the Hera woman away gently. "Zangya, we can't."

She looked deeply hurt. "Why not? Do you not desire me as a mate?" she asked with puppy dog eyes.

"No, it isn't that. I just…"

"I appreciate your chivalry Gohan, But it's not necessary." Then she smirked. "After all, you won the challenges today. I'm. All. Yours." Then she reunited their lips with a passion. Gohan no longer had the will to resist. Consequences be damned!

As Gohan shifted down to Lay flat of the bed, Zangya parted his lips with her tongue. A wrestle for control then ensued, as the two warriors battled with their tongues. She caressed His face, while he ran his fingers through her long, luscious hair. Finally, the battle ended, with both of them being the winner. Zangya pulled away from Gohan for some air and Grinned. "How was your first Kiss Rice ball?" She whispered seductively into his ear, making hi shudder.

"I-it was amazing." Was all he could think to say.

"Well, there's plenty more where that came from. You should plan on a few more firsts happening for you tonight." She sat up and started to lift up her pajama shirt revealing a toned and sexy tummy. Gohans' eyes followed the hem of the shirt as it rose higher and higher to reveal not only her stomach, but also a Purple bra. Piccolo was right. Purple is the best color!

"Are you ready for this." She asked, though they both knew he didn't have a choice in the matter.

"Hoh yeah." Gohan said excitedly.

"Then you better…" all of a sudden, Zangya disappeared. Gohan blinked and she was just gone.

"Zangya? Zangya!?" Gohan looked around frantically but not a trace of the blue beauty. Then, the rest of the room began to slowly be swallowed by darkness. It crept up the walls and across the floor. Finally, everything was gone and Gohan was alone in the dark.

Gohan did his best not to panic, but he really had no idea what was going on. "Hello?"

"Hey." A voice said from behind and Gohan spun around to face it.

"You!?" In front of him, as though he was looking in the mirror, was him. The same height, the same hair. Even the clothes were the same, though they were completely black. The only difference in their features was the eyes. Gohan stared straight into those black eyes with red irises and he felt a sudden chill. "Why are you here? What have you done with Zangya!?"

"Relax, that was a dream. Honestly, kinda disappointed I had to interrupt it since it's one of my favorites. I really wish it could've gone on longer. It always gets really good at the end." A goofy smile crossed dark Gohans' face. Gohan couldn't tell if it made him look more, or less frightening. He shook his head "Anyway, do you really think I would hurt Zangya? I am you after all."

Gohan thought about this and silently agreed. He didn't know what this shadow version of him was, but he did know that it cared about the same people he did. "What are you? Why are you here? How are you here?"

"For the how, this is a dream, portal to your subconscious. The part of your mind where I live. As for why I'm here, I suppose that could answered by what I am." The demon put his hand to his chin to figure out the best way to describe himself. "Right, basically a demon."

Gohan wasn't too surprised by this. "So, you really are a demon then."

"Ah, ah, ah," he wagged his finger back and forth "WE are a demon." At the confused look on Gohans face, the shadow version laughed. "Oh, come on. It really isn't that surprising is it? After all, grandpa Ox is known as the demon ox king."

Gohan knew that this was the truth. Suddenly, he remembered the events at Babas castle. Her parting words made sense now. But something that didn't make sense, was this thing in front of him. "That still doesn't explain what you are. Even if I am a demon, it doesn't make sense that I should have another person inside my head."

Dark Gohan shrugged. "You got me there. I don't really know how it all works. Best I can figure, the devil mans' spell probably caused some side effects in addition to awakening our powers. It wasn't exactly meant for that after all. But like I said, I don't really know. I just found out about this all recently."

Gohan narrowed his eyes. "And how did you find out? I was never told anything about it and I don't remember giving you control of my body."

"Turns out, Demons have a unique way of communicating. Kinda like King Kai, only both ends have to be able to use it. It's like a telephone, I guess. But that brings me to why I interrupted our lovely dream. They want to meet us."

Gohan stared at the demon in front of him. "Who's 'They'?"

Demon Gohan just grinned. "Let's find out."

End chapter.

Omake: Judgement day.

"Next!" a blue ogre yelled out. The line full of souls that looked like clouds moved forward. "Name."

"Um, Hercule Satan." Hercule, who for some reason was the only one in line who still looked like himself, still had a hard time believing he was dead. It all happened so fast. His life didn't even flash before his eyes. He just popped to the back of the line.

"Satan huh? That's pretty funny. Good thing we don't take names into account during judgement, hahaha." The Ogre chuckled at his own joke. "Well, go ahead inside, King Yamma is ready to judge you now."

Hercule just stood there. "Um, Before I go in, would you mind telling me what exactly I'll be judged on?" The ogre gave him a blank stare so he continued. "I-I mean, I was never much of a church goer. But I did always brush my teeth."

"Oh, yes we get that quite a lot. Not to worry sir, King Yamma is very fair in his judgements. Just go on in there, it's a little late now to be worried about that kind of thing anyway."

Hercule gulped. "I guess you're right." Then he mounted his courage and he walked in to a room with a giant mahogany desk, behind which sat the largest man Hercule had ever seen.

"Ah, Mr. Satan, yes." The man, who could only be King Yamma welcomed him in with a booming voice. "Let me see, I have your file right here." King Yamma opened a giant manilla folder with Hercules' picture on the front. "Hmm. Hercule Satan, Father of one, pretty standard record, no major black marks. Oh, I see here you always brushed your teeth, that is impressive." King Yamma flipped through the folder, stopping at one of the last pages and his expression grew darker. "But then, during the cell Games, you took credit for the deeds of a heroic young boy, cheating him out of many opportunities that those deeds would give him." Hercules soul went cold. He knew this was coming, but he had hoped he had made up for it at least a little. "Then, when given the opportunity to correct this mistake, you merely claimed that he was your martial arts students, thereby ensuring that any of the good works he did would only bolster your own fame."

"Hey, Wait a minute! It wasn't like that at all! Honest, I…"

"SILENCE FOOLISH MORTAL!" Hercule cowered as the entire building shook. I love it when I get to do that. The king of the afterlife thought to himself. "I do not ask for excuses. It is far too late for those." Hercule nodded. "Now, I have reviewed your life and Now all that's left is to decide your sentence."

King Yamma looked closely at the man in front of him. "Considering that you seem to have been trying to atone for the only major mark on your record, I believe a light sentence is in order. 1 month in hell. Take him away."

A doorway opened to reveal two large ogres, one red, one blue. "Well look at this Goz, we got us another victim here."

"He looks like he'll be a lot of fun Mez. I wonder how he'll like needle mountain. Or the blood river." Hercule gulped as the two men grabbed him by his arms and started taking him out of the judgement room.

"H-hey! Wait a minute, I demand a retrial! Where's my lawyer? What about a jury of my peers!? I don't want to go to hell!" He started kicking and flailing about as the doors closed behind him. right after he left, an old woman on a crystal ball floated out from behind one of the desk legs.

"Well, King Yamma, I couldn't help but notice that you neglected to tell him that Hell is not quite as bad as he imagines." Baba questioned with a raised eyebrow. In fact, Hell was the most common destination for souls and not really a bad place at all. The only ones who didn't go there were the exceptionally bad, who went to hfil, and the exceptionally good, like Goku, who went to train with king kai.

"Oh, well, he'll learn that for himself soon enough." The Monarch waved her off.

"I also noticed that you forgot to tell him that he will likely be wished back in a months' time. The exact length of his sentence."

"What a coincidence." The giant ogre remarked.

"Oh, I'm sure it was." She rolled her eyes and floated away.

End omake

A/N: Sometimes I have an idea and without realizing it, it coincides with something that already exists in the dragonball universe. This time, It was the demon realm. There is already an arc in dragon ball super heroes that is all about the Demon gods. I plan on utilizing some of the elements from that story line, but this is still fanfiction so some things I'm just going to make up. If anyone is curious as to why Esmerelda is no longer jealous of Zangya, there are a few reasons. 1, She said at the end of their battle that she and Turk would make a good couple. 2, She realized that she is Turks sister and therefore a non-threat. 3, She is so obviously into Gohan and thus the formation of the team of maidens in love. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed.
