Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 20 of The Winter Soldier and the Luna Wolf. I want to thank those who have left reviews for this story. It truly does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story. I can't wait to show you guys what will happen in future chapters. I know that you guys are curious about where Jimmy is and I promise you that it will be revealed soon enough. If you guys have watched The Wolverine you know where Jimmy is during that time which is in Japan more specifically Hiroshima and the bombing. I promise sibling bonding will happen again. I can't wait to show you guys the bonding between the siblings and of course how Violet will react to Bucky leaving this book soon before he makes his return later on. Without further ado Chapter 20. ENJOY!

Chapter 20

Dernier ran through the woods with a bomb tucked under his arm. Parallel to him was a Hydra fast-track vehicle going down the road. He rolled under the fast track and he quickly put the bomb onto the bottom of the vehicle as it raced over him. He jumped to his feet as the bomb exploded.

Violet came out of her hiding spot her lips quirking a little bit into a smile. She raised her hand and waved her hand. They had to keep moving to the next place that they needed to go. They were so close to wiping Hydra off of the map and they didn't have much left to deal with.

They raced across the field as a land kreuzer bore down on them. They had almost made it safely Dugan's hat flew off of his head landing in the path of the tank.

Dugan turned on his heels racing back to get his hat.

"Dugan it's just a hat!" Violet shouted not liking the idea that this man had a death wish. He would end up getting them and everyone else killed all because of a stupid hat. She watched him diving, grabbing the bowler hat and rolling out of the way wedging the hat on his head with a smug look on his face. She let out a groan now seeing the tank was bearing right into the direction of Dugan.

Steve moved quickly out of nowhere diving over Dugan and grabbing the tank's cannon barrel. He flipped himself into the air landing on top of it.

Violet pursed her lips together as she watched Steve bring his shield down, stopping it before slamming it down again and then again causing it to begin to creak and grind. He moved quickly jumping off of the tank before it exploded. Violet shook her head lightly knowing that this was the way that Steve wanted to do things.

CAFACAFA

A cameraman was busy filming the Howling Commandos. They moved over Falsworth and Dernier drinking from their cantines. Dugan was drinking from his flask. Bucky, Violet, and Steve were surveying a valley on what they were planning on doing next.

Steve moved towards the jeep and opened up his compass to look to see which way they would have to travel next.

Violet put her hand up to her mouth clearing her throat.

Steve's head shot up from the map that was on the hood of the jeep to look at Violet. "Agent Howlett, what is it?" Steve asked, pinching his brows together in confusion.

"The cameraman is filming you at this very moment." She said gesturing to the compass that she knew had a photo of Peggy inside of it.

Steve snapped his compass shut in irritation looking over at the cameraman.

Violet let out a breath moving forward towards the cameraman. "We're getting ready to be on the move… you need to be in a safer place." She pointed out as the man shut his camera down. She turned and walked away from the cameraman before walking over towards Bucky towards the valley.

Bucky let out a chuckle as he looked over at Violet. "You know you can truly be scary, Letty."

Violet let out a laugh shaking her head lightly. "Well, scary is something I do well." She mused as she looked at him.

Bucky looked into her hazel eyes. "You've done a wonderful job of scaring the cameramen away from pointing out that we're in a relationship."

"It's one of the reasons why you love me, no?"

Bucky smiled looking back and seeing that the cameraman had left with his camera. He wrapped his arm around her. "Yes, it's one of the reasons why I love you."

Violet smiled a small cheeky smile knowing it was the reason why he loved her. "Besides, it's none of their business who is together."

"So you want them to think that you're a single woman?"

Violet let out a chuckle. "No, but it's the public that has no business knowing a relationship is growing. Besides, we're not ready for that step are we?"

Bucky let out a breath. "I know what you mean, Letty. I don't blame you. Perhaps once we're done with Hydra we can make it public knowledge."

Violet gave him a soft smile and nodded her head in agreement with what he had said. "I would like that."

Bucky's lips quirked into a smile. "Yeah?"

"Definitely." She said softly leaning up and brushing her lips against his.

Steve let out a soft chuckle. "You two couldn't wait until we were out of the cold?"

Violet pulled away from Bucky looking over at Steve. "No, I couldn't. Besides, no one was around."

Steve let out a breath. "Yeah, no camera man…"

"And our team knows that we're together."

"We're glad that the two of you are together," Dugan said, looking at the two of them. "But you two remind some of us of who we have waiting for us at home."

Violet looked down knowing that some of the men were most likely missing their wives. "I'm sorry that they don't allow women into the army."

Dugan let out a breath looking at the two of them. "You fought tooth and nail to be here."

"I'm not in the army though." She pointed out letting out a breath and looking up at them. "I'm just a female agent that doesn't know how to compromise. I either do it all the way or not at all."

"And we're happy to have you," Steve said with a smile.

"We'll tone down the canoodling." She said softly knowing that the men missed their loved ones and seeing her with Bucky was probably wounding them and she didn't want to be the reason why they were hurting them.

This is the end of Chapter 20. I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter. I tried my best with trying to write it out and make it a good and long chapter. We have some Bucky and Violet togetherness.
