[Royal Woods:The Loud Residence]
It was getting late as the sun was starting to set but for the Loud's it wasn't exactly easy to get ready for bed or whatever they did before falling asleep.
It's just they had a lot on their minds and it was basically the same thing.
Where was Lincoln? Who was this friend of the their grandfather/father/father-in-law? And why did he want them to go to the retirement home tomorrow to talk to them?
Even though Lori was only suppose to stay the weekend until she headed back to Fairway University she couldn't help feeling a mix of emotions.
She was both worried about Lincoln because he disappeared without telling anyone but at the same time she was mad because he ran off making the family worried sick.
'I still can't believe that twerp ran off and made us think that he was kidnapped or something!...but I guess I would be upset to if our family forgot my birthday...'thought Lori as she decided to get some sleep as she had a feeling tommorow would be an interesting day.
Meanwhile Leni was not as upset as Lori as she was more relieved that Lincoln was okay and that he was with a friend of Pop-pop's... even if she didn't know who that friend was as her grandmother had a lot of good friends.
'I hope your okay Lincy and I'm sorry for forgetting your birthday."thought Leni who was mentally beating herself up about it as she was usually the most considerate of the loud siblings.
In the room adjacent to them Luna and Luan we're pretty much feeling the same set of emotions as they're older sisters. Luna was mentally beating herself up for forgetting Lincoln's birthday as out of all of the siblings she was probably the closest to him next to Leni.
'Dang I really messed up big time with little bro! I mean him and I have always been extremely close and yet I have the nerve to forget his birthday... the one he's been looking forward to for a long time...man I can be the worst sometimes!'
Luan meanwhile was checking her planner and she was wondering how could she forget his birthday when she noticed that it had a huge smudge right where Lincoln's birthday should be courtesy of an ink spelling incident that happened after she and Luna got into a vicious fight.
'Dang it... this is really going to hurt my reputation as Royal Woods number one party entertainer..."thought Luan as she prided herself on never forgetting a kid's birthday and now she had the audacity to forget her little brother's birthday.
This certainly was going to sit well with her or the Royal Woods birthday community.
Not to far down the hall there was a difference in opinion between the roommates that consisted of Lynn and Lucy.
Lynn with her typical stubborn nature would not admit that she did anything wrong and believe that Lincoln overreacted.
'So we all forgot his birthday big woop! He shouldn't have run off like that and made us all worried sick! I mean I guess I can get what he's feeling but that's not enough to justify him acting the way he did! As soon as I found out where he comes home I'm going to give him a piece of my mind!'
Lucy meanwhile had contacted her great-grandmother Harriet to ask her for advice. The spirit of the late great-grandmother simply replied that Lincoln wasn't a good place filled with a lot of mystical energy.
Lucy had no idea what this meant but for some reason that made her feel at ease as if her great grandmother spirit said so then she knew that Lincoln was all right wherever he was.
'According to Great Grandma Harriet Lincoln is at a place filled with powerful mystical energy. I have absolutely no idea what that means but at least I'm glad to know that wherever he is he is safe." thought Lucy as she grabbed the bust of her favorite vampire character Edwin.
"Oh Edwin I hope our visit with Pop-pop goes well tomorrow." said Lucy to herself before closing off her coffin from the rest of the world.
As for the twins further down the hall they were also having a difference in opinion
Lola with her typical bratty and selfish nature would not admit that she did anything wrong as she feels like Lincoln should have at least made sure that one of them remembered his birthday so that that someone could have informed the others.
'I mean it's not like it's easy to remember someone's birthday especially when there is so many birthdays in this household. But if someone forgot my birthday I would not have run away I would have taught them a lesson they would have never forgotten!...Oh well nothing I can do now but wait for tomorrow morning to head to the retirement home to see what Pop-pop has to say.'thought Lola as she continued fixing up her mud mask and hair curlers to make sure that she was as beautiful tomorrow as she was today.
Lana meanwhile I was feeling guilt as she remembered all of her pets birthdays but to forget her big brother's birthday...she then recalled how they acted in the morning of Lincoln's birthday and was willing to admit that she should have behave better.
"Man I hope Lincoln is all right."said Lana to herself as she played with her pets deciding to do that untill she finally fell asleep.
Meanwhile in the room across the hall Lisa we're still trying to figure out how someone could have effectively wiped out every source of data from her hitting cameras without leaving so much as a trace as to how they did it.
"This shouldn't be possible there should be at least some choice of my data in the backup drive but no it's been completely wiped out! The only way they should be periodically possible is if the individual responsible was made of electrical energy or a similar substance but there is no way that is possible!"exclaimed Lisa as she continued her efforts to try to recover any data even though she knew it was futile.
Meanwhile looked at bun bun, which had been left in her crib earlier.
"Lily miss incoln."said Lily as she was wondering where her big brother was.
While the Loud sisters were wondering what tomorrow was going to bring them when their grandfather would finally reveal to them where Lincoln was, the Loud parents were coming up with their own theories as to what had happened.
Rita couldn't believe that she forgot her baby boy's birthday as this was not like her at all. Meanwhile Lynn Sr was mentally beating himself up because he was so busy with the restaurant he completely forgot his only son's birthday.
"I can't believe this is happening."
"How could we forget."
Both wondered what Albert was going to tell them yesterday and they both had a feeling whatever it was it was not going to be good on their part.

Meanwhile on the other side of the ocean Lincoln and Hop called out their first Pokemon for their battle to prove to Leon that they were worthy of joining the gym challenge.
"Chewtle I choose you!"exclaimed Lincoln as he called out the first Pokemon he ever captured.
"Wooloo come on out!"exclaimed Hop as the sheep Pokemon appeared on the battlefield.
As Chewtle form fully appeared everyone was surprised as no one expected Lincoln to own a shiny Pokemon so soon.
"Wow Lincoln you actually caught a shiny Pokemon so early?"asked Hop who was a little jealous as shiny's were extremely rare.
"Yeah I was surprised too but when I ran into this little guy I knew I had to catch him."said Lincoln who was honestly impressed with himself.
"Well shiny or not that little guy is still going down."said Hop as Leon decided to put his rules as the referee.
"Alright this will be a three on three Pokemon battle because that is the amount of Pokemon both of you have on your person. The battle will continue until two out of your three Pokemon are knocked out. Without further ado let this battle commence!"exclaimed Leon as the two trainers called out their first move.
"Wooloo tackle!"ordered Hop
"Chewtle bite!"Lincoln.
Both Pokemon did as their trainers commanded and immediately charged towards one another. Chewtle used its smaller size to its advantage and managed to avoid the initial tackle attack before delivering a powerful bite attack towards Wooloo causing damage, which was amplified thanks to its special ability.
"Wooloo! what happened a bite attack should not have caused that much damage?"wondered Hop as bite although it was a powerful attack it shouldn't have caused as much damage as it was clearly showing on Wooloo.
"Tsk tsk Hop that would be because of my Chewtle's special ability is strong jaw which makes bite attacks and similar attacks much more powerful than they normally would be!"revealed Lincoln as Chewtle let out a small grin revealing how happy it was with the results.
"Well played Lincoln but this isn't over yet! Wooloo use double kick!"order Hop as the sheep Pokemon quickly closed the distance between itself and Lincoln's Pokemon and delivered the fighting type move with powerful results by turning around and kicking Chewtle successfully with the fighting type move.
"Dang! Chewtle quick while Wooloo is in range use water gun!"ordered Lincoln.
Chewtle did as it was commanded and quickly recovered from the initial attack using the opportunity of close distance to fire a powerful blast of its water gun attack successfully striking the sheep Pokemon.
"Wooloo!"exclaimed Hop.
"Now finish this up with a tackle attack!"exclaimed Lincoln as on command the snapping Pokemon using the momentum it got from The double kick attack earlier used on him to strike Wooloo with an effective tackle attack.
This tackle attack sent Wooloo back to its trainer side of the field creating a small dust cloud as it slid on the battlefield. When the dust settled it was revealed that the sheep Pokemon had been knocked out.
"Wooloo!"
"Wooloo is unable to battle which means the winner of the first part of this three on three match belongs to Lincoln and Chewtle!"declare Leon as the trainer in Pokemon in question high five with their victory.
"Thanks buddy no you take up a nice long rest well with the rest of our friends try their best uphold this winning streak."said Lincoln has he recalled the snapping Pokemon back to its Pokeball.
Meanwhile Hop we called his first Pokemon back to its Pokeball.
"You did an amazing job and you more than deserve a nice long rest."said Hop as he looked at the Pokeball before putting it away and pulling out another one.
"Grookey come on out!"
"Rookidee I choose you!"
Both Pokemon appeared on the battlefield ready to face one another.
"I see that you caught a Pokemon with a type advantage over my Grookey but don't think for a second that Pokémon type is the only factor that wins battles."
"I haven't thought that for a single moment Hop let's do this!"
"Rookidee use peck!"
"Grookey dodge and use scratch."ordered Hop and in response the chimp Pokemon easily evaded Rookidee's attack using the lost momentum to successfully strike using scratch, causing the tiny Bird Pokemon some damage.
"Man that was fast! I guess you weren't kidding when you said you gave Grookey special training!"exclaimed Lincoln as he was honestly impressed.
"Yeah all that training on route one really paid off. Now let's show Lincoln our green power Grookey by using Branch poke!"exclaimed Hop in response the chimp Pokemon struck the tiny Bird Pokemon with its Branch causing some damage.
"Rookidee quick use peck once again!"Yelled Lincoln.
"Don't even let that Rookidee get a chance Grookey! Use scratch once again and finish this battle!"Yelled Hop.
Grookey did as he was commanded and quickly close the distance between itself and the tiny Bird Pokemon lighting a powerful scratch attack causing critical damage to the tiny Bird Pokemon. This caused Rookidee to land next to Lincoln revealing itself to have been knocked out.
"Rookidee is unable to battle which means this part of the battle belongs to Hop and Grookey!"declared Leon as Hop and Grookey celebrated their first official victory against Lincoln.
Meanwhile Lincoln recalled Rookidee back to its Pokeball.
"You did a great job out there my friend and even though we barely just met I'm glad you fought so hard for me and our dream. Take a nice long rest you more than deserve it."said Lincoln as he recalled his Pokémon back to its Pokeball and placed it back on his trainers belt.
Lincoln took a deep breath before pulling out another Pokeball just as Hop recalled Grookey back to its Pokeball.
"Well is next battle decides who wins and remember no matter who wins no hard feelings."
"I couldn't agree more Lincoln after all Pokemon battles are about sportsmanship. Lee taught me that lesson long ago that even if you win or lose you can't let your vanity get the better of you or else it will cost you in the long run."
With a look of determination between both trainers they called out their final Pokemon.
"Scorbunny I choose you!"
"Rookidee come on out!"
Both the rabbit Pokemon and the tiny Bird Pokemon appeared on the battlefield with Scorbunny looking at Hop's Rookidee with a look of confusion until it realized it wasn't the Rookidee that was part of his team.
"I see you caught a Rookidee as well."said Lincoln as he was honestly impressed.
"Yeah I figured I needed a Pokemon capable of flying in the long run and when I ran into this little guy I couldn't help but try to capture him."said Hop as both trainers waited for one of them to make the first move.
"Rookidee peck!"
"Scorbunny tackle!"
Both Pokemon collided with their respective attack each striking and causing damage to one another. Both looked at each other with fierce determination not willing to back down from the other.
"Scorbunny use ember quick!"
"Rookidee use power trip!"
Once again both attacks collider with one another causing damage to both Pokemon as Rookidee was struck with ember while Scorbunny was struck with power trip!
'This getting going anywhere! need to come up with a new plan!' thought Lincoln before he came up with an idea and decided to use it.
"Scorbunny back away!"
The rabbit Pokémon looked at his trainer with a look at confusion until he realized what he meant and decided to go through with it.
"If you're going on the defense and we are going on the offense! Rookidee use peck!"ordered Hop and in response the tiny Bird Pokemon flew towards the rabbit Pokemon hoping to land a successful strike.
'Wait for it...!"thought Lincoln as he waited until Rookidee got closer as soon as it was just a few feet away from Scorbunny he decided it was now or never.
"Now! Scorbunny used double kick and launch that Pokemon into the air!"ordered Lincoln.
Scorbunny did as he was told and as soon as the tiny Bird Pokemon was within range it successfully stopped the tiny bird Pokemon's initial attack with a powerful double kick before using the second kick to launch Rookidee high in the air.
"Now finish this battle with ember!"
Scorbunny not wanting to wait for single moment fired ember from its mouth just as Rookidee was recovering from the initial double kick attack. Before it could even react it was struck with ember.
"Rookidee!"exclaimed Hop as the tiny Bird Pokemon fell to the floor revealing itself to have been knocked out.
"Rookidee is unable to battle which means that this entire battle goes to Lincoln and Scorbunny!"exclaimed Leon as trainer and Pokemon high fived on their victory.
Meanwhile Hop we call this Pokemon back to its Pokeball and after thanking it took a deep breath and let out a sigh.
"And I just perfected my Pokeball throw."
After letting out his initial frustration Hop and Lincoln walk to the middle of the field and shook hands revealing good sportsmanship.
Leon then decided to voice his opinion so he walked up to them.
"Well that was an amazing battle it was so amazing in fact that I have no choice now but to give you both and endorsement allowing you both to take part in the gym challenge."said Leon has he pulled out two official looking documents with his signature at the bottom and handed one to Lincoln and then one to Hop.
"Yes once I show this endorsement Monostoke stadium I will officially be part of the gym challenge!"yelled Hop with joy.
"You two have shown me that you have great potential as trainers. Hop I will admit I was worried since you always focus on things like your Pokeball throw when really none of that nonsense has anything to do with Pokemon battles."
"Yeah but that's who I am and I won't change that."said Hop with a sly grin before he noticed something in the air.
"Wait! What's that!"
Everyone turn their attention towards the sky and noticed that some kind of mini meteor was falling down from the sky in as soon as it landed it split in two just a few feet away from the battlefield.
Hop was the first to run over to see what it was and as soon as he identified what it was he smiled.
"I can't believe it it's a wishing star! and there's two of them here Lincoln you should take one for yourself!"said Hop as he handed one of the wishing Stars over to Lincoln.
"With these we will finally be able to dynamax our Pokemon!"
This information certainly got Lincoln's attention as he learned last night about the dynamax from phenomenon that allowed Pokémon to temporarily grow to the size of giants. This Little Rock was the cause of it?
It was easy to say that Lincoln was extremely excited.
"Well well now this is certainly an unexpected event. You know they say then if you find a wishing Star and make a wish it will come true."said Leon.
"I will be the greatest trainer ever! I will be the greatest trainer ever! I WILL BE THE GREATEST TRAINER EVER! There now that I've said it three times it will certainly come true!"exclaimed Hop as Lincoln smiled at him and made his wish although he did it with his inside voice so no one would hear him.
"Now don't be silly young man those wishing stars are simply a particular kind of rock that through a special process allows Pokemon to dynamax. Allow me to take those rocks for a moment and by tomorrow you two will have the power to dynamax your Pokemon."said Professor Magnolia as Lincoln and Hop handed each of their wishing stars to her.
"Yes since you're the foremost expert on the dynamax phenomenon Professor Magnolia I have no doubt that with your help we will be able to dynamax our Pokemon to the fullest."said Hop as everyone giggled at his enthusiasm.
It was at that very moment that Sonia decided to announce herself as she had barely arrived home.
"Well looks like I arrived just in time. Now that everyone is here how about we have some dinner as I have been interested in making the latest trendy curries."said Sonia as she twirled her hair around a little.
"Curry? Oh count me in!"said Hop.
"Yeah me too."said Lincoln as he always wanted to try curry.
Everyone just giggled that their enthusiasm as the sun began to set and what was going to happen tomorrow was anyone's guess.

But I managed to pull things together and finish this part of the story and the next chapter should be out within a couple weeks.
