Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Monster and the Sniper. Enjoy the 8900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

Kaina awoke to the sound of tv and rolled out of bed, tired. It wasn't as if the bed sucked, it was a queen-sized bed which was more than generous for her. No, it was nightmares cutting up and down her brain as if they were knives.

Her feet found ground for a few seconds before she was forced to yawn and crack her spine. She decided it would be best to get new clothes, her 'hero suit' was still on the news and people didn't at all need to see her face to recognize her. Kaina looked and found a small but hefty amount of money on the dresser.

"Left enough for some street clothes and a meal. I'll be out for a few hours doing patrol, I made rice and your favorite meal and left it by the window if you're hungry. If you're going to chat? Do it in 2 hours, I left 3 ago… Peace, Storm." Kaina read on a very crappy note.

It almost made her laugh to remember simply how weird and quirky he could be, and it was far more amusing to see it need to be, for now, it was all too much for her at times.

Still? The idea was enough for her to smirk out of it and amuse herself with the idea of it all. Oliver was many things, but a goofball was still going to be one of them and it was still amusing to see her try and make sense of it all.

"Ok… Time to try and get a new wardrobe." Nagant stated before she frowned as she realized simply what would become of it all given the time and scale.

She looked out the window before frowning to herself and pressing a bare hand to the window. It was clear society would continue under the shine of pretending to care only to kill or ruin more life for others and yet would not care, nor be made to care as of now.

"What's going to happen without me? Heh, probably find another sad sap to try and make their next big killer. Vigilantes without problems now." Kaina said before rubbing at her temples and sighing before slowly noticing the food next to her.

She had the idea to try and get to the rest of the stores. It wouldn't be enough for something fancy but would simply continue to be more and more clear with each passing second.

Kaina decided on it better than anything. It was clear problems would not be solved without going into public and there were enough materials around the apartment for a shawl or such. It wouldn't do much to cover her face, but Kaina was an assassin first, sneaking around was what she excelled at and would continue to excel at as of now, and yet? she was curious as to what to do next.

"Hmm, there's a lot more problems to need to focus upon. I don't know what to do next." Kaina stated before frowning to herself a few seconds later and she was well aware for now of what to do next.

It was a lot more of an odd little issue before clicking his tongue and looking up and out the window. Kaina would relax, she'd be remiss in not thanking Oliver.

Out in the living room was a hoodie several sizes too big for her and a pair of jeans torn up and used more than a dozen times. Oliver even considered her plan before her. Damn him for knowing her so well and yet not at all knowing him all the while knowing what she'd do or how to do it.

"Ugh, damn you…" Kaina said with a smirk before a small little phone next to these clothes rang and she answered it. "Hello? Superhero residence." Kaina stated before frowning to herself and looking around the room.

"Very funny, Kaina. You, ok? You were still out cold the entire time I was suiting up. Got called to deal with a bank robbery, guys with guns, and a guy with a flame quirk or something." Oliver stated before sighing.

"Are you good? I'm fine, I'm tired, just a bit worn out." Kaina stated before frowning and tapping on the wall before looking upwards, interested, curious more and more upon now, curious for now.

"Good, I left stuff for you to be ok, I need to think for a bit of time, I don't know what to do today," Oliver stated before frowning to himself and looking upwards and into the roof.

"I'm going out. I need clothes, I have one last paycheck in my account, it should be deposited and that means I should own a few pairs of clothes." Kaina stated before she frowned to herself and looked down at the ground.

"I'm going to be ok; I'll be back sooner or later. I don't know what's going but I'll deal with it properly." Oliver stated as Kaina only rolled her eyes before looking upwards and resting against the wall.

It was clear more and more of an issue to need to think about it all. Oliver was still one of the better agents in the world and it was clear he cared, it made Kaina well aware of what to need to do and how to do it, which was more and more interesting for her and them all.

"Ollie? You going to be ok for now?" Kaina asked before she looked upwards and slowly started questioning what to do next.

"I'll be ok sooner or later, you? you've been out cold for a long time, and I don't know if you are ok or not, Kaina," Oliver stated before frowning.

"We need to get going sooner or later, plans need to be said and done." Oliver before questioning what needs to happen.

Kaina stayed silent before looking upwards before now and looked upwards as of now, only pausing to smirking as of now.

Kaina sighed before looking upwards and leaning on the wall before rubbing at her and looking out the window, interested in the city. Life would continue to go onwards more and more and she would be left behind sometime soon.

Kaina was silent, only amused for now and rolling her eyes. and yawning before looking upwards.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Kaina questioned now and looked upwards and the sky.

"So much is wrong with life…. And Storm wants to try and play the hero. Now I need to try and get it off the road… Yet? I'm going to be all too done with life." Kaina stated before now and backed off from the window before smirking to himself and taking a sip of coffee.

Yet? it seemed to be all said and done and she grabbed the pants and clothes, trying to slip on her boots before cracking her fingers and looking upwards.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Kaina asked before sighing to herself and finally beginning to try and yawn before now.

"Screw it? I'm going to call." Kaina stated before now as she only seemed to yawn and grabbed the phone.

"Storm?" Kaina questioned before raising an eyebrow and slowly starting to look downwards before looking at the sky and grabbing the phone.

"Kaina? You, ok? We need to talk later, you, ok? I'm going to be back sometime soon. You aren't going to be ok until then?" Storm stated before several noises were going to end as now.

"I'm going to need to try and deal with living you so teres that to try and deal with," Kaina stated before tapping on the window, bored yet still determined to make it. "Do I need to ask where you may or may not or may not have gotten clothes?" Kaina asked before Storm chuckled and hummed a few seconds later.

It did very, very little to try and fix it for today, very little to end and be easily said and done… Yet? All too much relied more and more upon if it could be done.

"Are you done for now?" Kaina stated before tapping the window.

"First of all? Thrift store… Secondly? No, a few more hours to be honest." Storm stated before frowning. "If you're going to need extra… Screw it, I'm not doing it yet so we're talking about credit cards when I return… Is that being said? You are welcome to anything in the fridge… But you try the 'I'm a super elite murder woman who hates myself!' Thing? I'm going to stop you because it's not cool anymore." Storm stated before yawning.

"Really? I was amazed about it." Kaina stated before rolling her eyes. "I won't. I'm dead more or less if you forgot and it's clear more problems will come if I pretend not to be." Storm stated as Kaina leaned against the wall and frowned before looking out and into the city.

Problems were coming and it was clear over and over into the sky back and forth that it'd come crashing down. Storm knew their façade would slowly spiral into the ocean.

Yet? Kaina would continue to pass over, it had to continue to keep going. She didn't at all understand what Storm wanted to do for now. All problems in the future bothered her, it'd continue to grow out of control.

She tapped her foot on the ground, frowning but still grabbing the money and turning to slowly get dressed… Oh, would it all be an interesting day, for now, questioning if Storm was simply crazy or had a plan? Kaina planned on seeing it to the end.

She slowly crossed the room, tapping her foot every few steps. This place was not unknown to her, she had been here before, only focusing on her talk with Storm years ago. She did not at all under if Storm still cared about her and sighed to herself. Storm was a good man, but one who was still entirely hopeful about saving people who could be dealt with.

Kaina sighed before looking upwards and grabbed her boots and socks before pulling them on and slowly starting to start down the stairs, cracking her fingers before sighing to herself.

"Damn it, the jeans I had were upstairs…" Kaina muttered before slowly walking upstairs to try and get her clothes and looking around for them.

(With Storm)

Storm sent one of the thugs tossed into the wall with a burst of water, standing over the soldier and sighing and crossing his arms.

It was very odd for him to entertain the idea that his friend was in his house and dealing with more issues like the fact he was almost harboring a fugitive. It went against being a hero and yet part of him was calling how odd it appeared.

Part of Storm's mind seemed to understand for now and questioned if someone set her up, Kaina was not a monster in such a way that she'd murder someone without good reason. Kaina wouldn't lie all the time to every single hero and even if she killed people. This was not the type of person he was used to seeing and it bothered him.

Storm would continue to grow more and more and yet he was not at all stupid. Kaina could be different from the person she had been years ago.

"Damn it, making me think more and more about stuff at the moment." Storm stated and cracked his fingers before looking up and into the sky.

He ran a few fingers down his side and felt water slide down into the ground, all curious if it could get resolved without them fighting to the death. All problems today were just bothering them as of the time being. it scared him, for now, to see it come so far and yet to fall so far at the moment.

All of it needed to become a worse nightmare and something that needed to be done. All of it could be a problem as of the nightmare. It was a lot more of an odd little thing to make him cry and scream.

The Hero group who would see her turned into a weapon terrified him to no end as did it all. Woo had corrupted this woman into a weapon? Which hero or citizen would see her fall so low that she'd become a damn weapon who hated everything?

All of it became a nightmare and yet it seemed to end with more death. He did very little to stop it. Best to finish up patrol and head back. The patrol was quiet anyway and he could use the attempt to reconnect with an old friend like her.

"Ok… Screw it, I'm going back… At least then I'll be able to relax. I need to make sure Kaina is ok, that she won't stay hurt." Storm stated as he seemed to get worse and worse.

It wouldn't do to see things like this. No, it just wouldn't work out that way. Storm was tired, he was worn down… But Nagant was still his damn friend and he owed her at least the chance to try and explain herself.

(With Lady Nagant)

Kaina pulled her socks over her feet, almost feeling blisters form under her skin from her retreats. Maybe she'd get better boots for now and see if they were going to last.

Her hero costumes? The thing she had worn as a fake part of reality? She'd either burn it or modify it, they knew what she looked like more than ever and it was simply something she had to get used to.

Still? Kaina was not stupid and she was not simply going to back down anytime soon. She pulled on her new clothes, cracking her fingers as she flexed her firing arm, pondering and yawning to himself and frowning to herself.

She was down the stairs, slowly stuffing the money that Storm had given her into her pocket before now. Kaina didn't entirely seem to be in her mind and looked down at the ground, slowly putting a foot gently upon the final step before pulling up the collar of her jacket, and pulling it deeply over her head.

She knew it wouldn't last, but it would probably at least fool them, and felt it would continue to grow more and more. She opened the door and was met with some cold drops of rain as she rolled her eyes.

"Storm… Oliver, you're insane to think a chance of me." Kaina stated before she looked downwards and felt the chill slowly start to drip down upon her jacket.

She was tired and slowly began to walk toward the shop in question while she seemed to walk toward the shop, she had been uneasy about issues that needed to be completed, for now, and all of it seemed to be a lot worse than before.

All problems would continue to grow and it seemed to be a nightmare they could continue to try and grow. Kaina cracked her fingers and slowly started to hope, eager to try and fixate for now upon issues.

She nodded to herself and looked upwards into the rain. It was nice to see that her friend was nearby and it was nice to try and see it end.

"Are you going to be all right?" Kaina asked, interested in if it could be handled sometime soon.

"Are you done? I'm not at all sure how well it could end… This needs to end sometime soon." Kaina stated before she turned and was greeted by more rain.

"Are you talking to yourself?" Storm questioned, raising an eyebrow as he slowly emerged from across the street.

"No, idiot," Kaina said from under her hoodie. "What happened to the fact you were on patrol?" Kaina questioned as she turned and walked back towards him.

She was eager to finish it off and seemed to be able to relax, cracking her fingers against the wall.

"It's going to end soon and since you've gone off the grid? Lot more heroes have hit the streets… I've barely had to try and stop a simple mugging so it isn't exactly like I've not been busy." Storm said before looking at her. "Heading to the thrift shop? You want me to come with you?" Storm asked before smirking.

He knew more and more such problems would continue to grow as the woman looked to him, interested more and more curious upon if she'd be hunted… He did not see a remorseless killer, a woman who was trapped by her soul.

No, he saw a damn defenseless woman who was terrified that she would be hunted down like an animal and killed upon being found. She didn't want the blood on her hands to continue to grow worse and worse.

"If that's fine with you. it's your wallet and I doubt it's going to be so easy." Kaina stated before she sighed and put a hand to her temples. "We're going to need to go soon, you said it closes within a few hours and such?" Kaina asked before she slowly started to rub her temples.

"Yes, but we're going into the shop soon… The owner kinda knows me… Someone kinda tossed me into the front window and all that." Kaina stated as she looked downwards at the ground.

She was all too eager to get out so it was all too easy to argue and yawned. Storm slowly started to walk up the doors and he knew the woman might run off he didn't get changed into his street clothes. Kaina was all too bored, eager to see the sights and he could not get it off his chest.

Kaina crossed her arms and leaned on the wall next to her before she felt tired and thrown off at the moment, they were far all unwilling to try and look upon such a problem as she looked upwards into the sky.

He'd yet seemed to look upon issues that were eager for now and found it worse and worse.

Lady Nagant would need to die and clicked her tongue and yawned, for now, smirking at the hero as she looked up the stairs and waited for Oliver to try and get ready.

She didn't know what his game was and how well it'd work out at the time. There was a longer and larger game at the moment. They had more and more to try and look forwards to.

"Are you going to be, ok? You've still got some wounds from what I've seen but I've never seen you hurt at the moment." Kaina stated before she sighed and looked down at the floor.

It'd be an odd little nightmare for now and she felt more and more tired as Oliver slowly started to walk down the stairs, covered with a bluish shirt that had an octopus upon it. He also held green sneakers which looked a few years old and a pair of jeans that had several cuts in the legs.

Kaina simply found it to be amusing and yawned as the two slowly started to walk toward the store and she seemed to be more and more bored. Kaina could only hopefully feel bored and more interested in what they'd be able to relax to and feel safe upon.

Oliver liked city life while Kaina had become more secluded. She knew the man was constantly eager to be out and about exploring the city while she was busy doing recon and constantly dealing with the fact that her friends all may have tossed her to the side.

Oliver yawned before clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth and felt more and more tired. Oliver felt more bored around her and cracked her fingers.

"You always love this damn city. It's always overrun with crime, I'm always targeting people who used to be regular people, and yet? I don't even think I get to relax or vacation at all." Kaina stated before she crossed her arms and felt more and more tired.

"Because it's nice. The more people we get to relax and help? Well, it's better than nothing, Kaina. We have a duty to these people a duty to try and help them. We can't just stand by and let them fall apart if we can try and help it." Oliver said as Kiana only rolled her eyes and smirked, eager to get to work anyway.

"You are still something else at times, you know that?" Kaina said as Oliver shrugged.

"Better than being nothing at all at certain times. It's all fun and games when you're off the clock. You act so seriously you're going to burst the second that something bad happens." Oliver stated as he snorted and continued to walk.

Oliver knew more and more that Kaina was still bitter about what happened back on the rooftops. He knew she had very little hope of going back to what she was before, it was written all over her face and it was clear she'd continue to be a certain way when it came down to it.

They had a lot more to discuss at the moment and yet he was scared of that happening. He was very scared because she could easily hurt someone or something if she was pushed too much.

Yet, Oliver was not stupid nor was he blind to nostalgia at the moment. He'd not at all back down and he would allow nothing to stop it from being that way.

Their bond was something else more than now. He and she had a lot more to try and look upon, a LOT more than might be said and done.

"If you wanted to kill me? You'd have killed me, you know. I know just what a master shot you are and I'm not stupid enough to think you of all people would hold back." Oliver stated before he sighed.

"Maybe I just didn't have a good shot. You kept moving so often unlike the man I killed back at the base… It could easily be just bad luck; you ever think of that?" Kaina asked before he rubbed at his temples.

"And? I know you were holding back. Even if you have powers that can easily allow me to kill you?" Oliver questioned before pointing a finger at her and smirking to himself.

"If you wanted me dead? You'd have done so within the confines of your abilities. It is really sad you want to lie to me that you couldn't kill me at the end of the day?" Oliver stated before humming to himself.

He was all too tired and managed to slowly start to grow more and grow tired more and more at the time. Kaina was all too amused by her antics just like before. There was a lot more amusement and a lot more of a need to be dumbstruck.

Kaina would continue to smirk, stamping her feet in the rain as she fell silent before she looked to the side. There were thousands of thoughts inside his head.

She didn't at all know what to do next when it came to her activities in life. Kaina was silent, clearly bored, and not at all willing to do much of anything. They had a lot more to do, discuss… Yes, this was just another drop in the bucket for them and it showed… It always showed.

"You are something else at times, you know… Always something else. You're so irritating at the end of the path and yet I still have to deal with certain issues in your life." Kaina stated before she looked to the side.

Both of them wanted to relax but something wouldn't allow them. They were utterly tired, utterly thrown off, and exhausted. Their paths were something that could only be challenged and tempered with time.

Kaina risked a glance at him, utterly confused as to why he was unable to relax and so concerned with her. He was always thoughtful but never to this degree, never trying to get to relax. He was so utterly drained at times that she knew he'd collapse at times, worn down by the weight of being a hero.

"The younger you would have killed me for the president, you've been ruthless enough to cut down the worst criminals… Yet you spare me for very simple reasons like seeing hope in me… It's stupid, thinking I can come back to what I was." Kaina stated before she crossed her arms, amused at the time being to what would come and what would go.

"And? You are not a lost cause yet. if you wanted me dead so badly? You'd have put a bullet through my head. A lot more people would have died but they didn't…. You know that. You know very well just how much we've been able to relax." Oliver said before falling silent.

Kaina sighed and looked to the side, utterly confused but no less so than before.

"So what? You've been able to overlook that because we used to be friends? I killed someone in cold blood." Kaina said as Oliver sighed.

"Same with all the other people you've killed. Should I have considered you a villain when you were killing people for the government?" Oliver asked as Kaina sighed and looked at the rain.

"When did you get so smart? You used to have trouble dealing with the fact that I was a better fighter." Kaina asked as she reached out a hand and caught a water droplet upon the palm of her hand.

"Comes with getting older, Kaina. We're going to be in our late 20s sooner or later and it isn't like we can spend all our time relaxing and doing nothing to try and make it better or worse… We already know what will happen and how it will happen so we can prepare for it." Nagant stated before he sighed and slowly started to fall silent for a second.

He poked her bare arm with his fingers, making her jump slightly as she sighed to herself and slowly started to wear herself down.

She didn't at all know what to try and focus on at the moment. There was a lot more to do and a lot more problems, all of it seemed to get better and better for them and everyone.

This was a lot more to take in than he expected still, much more than what they were used to. All of it seemed to be nicer and nicer at the end and it was too tiresome for them to reflect upon it.

She didn't at all know what was going on and she didn't at the moment and it became tiresome, utterly amused by Oliver's ideas of fun as she had been before then, it was just worse and worse to deal with.

She didn't at all know what to try and figure out and did not at all know what to deal with more and more. She slowly started to look down at the ground before she was able to look down at the ground before it was said and done.

She didn't even want to know what he was planning or how well Oliver would be able to pull it off, there was going to happen, and just how well he put it all together.

All of it seemed to drip down into a very odd position where nobody got to relax and they were utterly and thoroughly left alone, utterly torn down by every single little thing and left adrift, unsure of what to say or do next.

"This city is going to fall apart sooner or later, you know. Even if we aren't babysitting it? There are a lot more problems than crime, you going to defend that until the day you die as well?" Kaina asked as Oliver hummed.

"Maybe I will. You give up on this city far too easily, Kaina. It isn't that hard to try and fix it, you know. Not when it comes down to it… The only thing that changes is what we're going to fight for, you know. It isn't that hard to try and change things when you're the one doing the change." Oliver stated before Kaina sighed.

"Your optimism is unbearable at times," Kaina said before she smiled.

"Maybe, but it isn't like it's a lie. All of it's easier to deal with the more you manage to relax and just go with the flow. It's not hard to try and deal with it at the source." Oliver stated.

"You are a very terrible person and I dislike all of what you stand for, you know that?" Kaina stated that she could get a shrug which went against what she was used to from the hero.

She snorted but allowed a small smirk to peek out from under her, utterly reminding him that she always had a small amount of affection for him. it wasn't like she hated him but she knew very well that whatever old affections she had in her life would clash with what she had been in her old life. It was not at all what she wanted to do but it was still part of what she was used to and not at all what she wanted to be.

All of it became harder and harder to try and baffle himself. it was all too much. It was just more and more to try and handle.

She didn't at all know him as well as she expected she did. If she did? She probably wouldn't have thought him as capable of things as she thought. It was hard enough to deal with a type of deal.

"You're always surprising me, Oliver, you never cease to remind me I know little to nothing about these sorts of things… It's very baffling at the end of the day, you know… Sometimes I lose control of it all." Oliver heard from Kaina as he hummed.

"Maybe it's just the fact you didn't know me and I don't know the real you. You're an assassin hero and I'm just more and more eager to get to relax, Kaina. We don't get to relax often and you constantly seemed to want to work with every single little thing." Oliver stated before he smirked to himself.

He was all too tired, too unsure of what to do next. He didn't at all know what would become of today at the end of all days.

"Are you going to be ok enough to try and talk or do you need some sort of time to relax?" Oliver asked before he slowly glanced upwards and into the sky.

"I do not at all know what will become of it all, but I do know you cannot relax… Nor can I, not yet… There are not enough distractions to forget what I am and you know it." Kaina stated to which she got a sigh.

"You never cease to try and confuse me, you know that? Anytime I try and be nice you try and make it so it's terrible I feel nice about it." Olive stated before he wished that she had said nothing.

Kaina stopped as light rain started to fall on the ground. She glanced up to be greeted by a barrage of raindrops which means more and more that she would not get to relent.

It would need to be done and done soon if he would have any small amount of trying to help her. He didn't wish to try and understand it at any real juncture, there was a lot more he could try and do and so much more he wanted to do. All of this was tiring to him and yet he could not relent… He did not at all want to, not when he was so tired, worn down, utterly so by it all.

This became harder and harder to deal with and he knew it. This was all too much to try and deal with at the time. This was a lot more to try and figure out again, again and again until he collapsed into nothing and he was able to calm down.

He didn't at all know what was going on inside her head but he would not relent at this point. All of it swirled together and yet more and more that he'd be unable to relax. He didn't at all want to try and understand at the time what would become of it all.

Kaina glanced upwards and into the sky, utterly unsure of what Oliver saw in her, what anyone did at the moment. There was just too much for her to deal with, something that could only be cleared away given time and effort… She'd learn more and more if she could but she didn't want to spoil it.

Nor would she. Not when there was more to do, to learn. If she could see a weakness? She'd find it and exploit it over and over at the moment.

Whatever came next, she had little to no idea at the time. She was utterly unsure of what would come next as she and he slowly rounded the corner and were greeted by the store in front of them.

He didn't at all know what to do next before he seemed to tap his fingers on his arms and legs. He turned to look at her before he raised an eyebrow before he yawned at her and then seemed to be more and more chaotic.

Still? Kaina ran a hand through her purple locks, fascinated more by his determination than off put by it. His heart would always be in the best place before she slowly started to think more and more.

Oliver leaned on the wall as he yawned, utterly exhausted at the moment as he seemed to be more and more unsure of what to do next. She glanced at him before she looked at him, watching as he slowly started to put his hands into his pockets and then fall utterly silent as he crossed his arms.

"Are you going to be, ok? This seems to be more and more utterly tiresome." Kaina said as Oliver stated before he clicked his tongue against the roof of the mouth. "Are you going to be, ok? I just need a few supplies. I need to try and get something at night before it's over." Kaina stated before she looked down at the ground, he was utterly unsure of what to do next.

She didn't at all understand how to try and deal with all such problems. He didn't at all know what she was thinking, what she'd do, how she felt about every little thing and all of it next. This became something more and more she felt she had to deal with… Yet? Far too much and far too little would stand in her way. She had more work to do, a lot more to try and deal with.

Still? She was utterly tired more and more in control of what to understand at the next talk.

This was a lot more tiresome at the end of the moment and seemed utterly unsure of what to deal with next more and more. Life around Oliver was always odd, always changing, wrapping around something new like drops of water within a glass.

She never knew his next move; she never managed to try and understand him but she was closer than most people were when they managed to figure him out at the time. it was an odd little thing at the moment, utterly unsure of what to say, what to do next. She didn't want to try and think of it at all if she was utterly honest. This was a lot harder to deal with than she was used to.

"You trust me not to run? You are an idiot." Kaina said, a knowing smirk playing on her lips.

"You didn't run when I was out cold. If you wanted to run? Why don't you do it right now? It'd be easy, just leap up the nearest fire escape and then swing away and find some dirty warehouse. I know what you'd do, Kaina." Oliver said before leaning on the wall next to him. "Go, you need more spending cash? Come get me. I'll stay here and wait; my patrol doesn't go on until later anyway… Isn't like there's a lot more crime these days." Oliver stated before Kaina sighed and walked away.

"Thank you, I mean it," Kaina said as Oliver shrugged and looked down at the ground.

"Don't mention it, Kaina. What are friends for? We've known each other long enough to do much else." Oliver stated before he sighed and looked downwards at the ground before he cracked his fingers, utterly unsure of what else to tell her.

This was a very hard pill for him to swallow and he knew it, he knew more than anything that if he didn't move fast? Well, he'd be able to relax without any real problems. She knew him and he knew her over and over if she hated him so much? Nothing was stopping a single bullet from hitting his ribs and killing him and she knew it.

She knew him. If she wanted to run? There was no stopping her, he'd only go after her if she was a danger to innocent people and she was aware of it. She had a boot on his neck if she wanted to push it if it was over. If she was so damn interested to do at the end of the moment.

She didn't, she walked towards the store, one footstep ahead of the other, utterly entranced by something neither he nor she could explain. If problems came? Then damn them, she'd deal with it as best she could if push came to shove. All it did was trickle down into the ground with each passing footstep at the moment at the time.

It'd be a lot harder to try and fathom more and more. This was harder and harder to try and focus on at the end of it all.

If something bad was coming? She'd deal with it, she dealt with everything over and over in the future and these problems would become harder and harder with each such measure of pain and understanding.

The more she could say and do, all too eager to see it end over and over. Yes, this became easier and easier at the end of it all. She didn't at all know what to try and do.

She knew what to do at the second. She didn't want to try and understand, not even a few more seconds of uncertainty changed it… Could seem to be hopeful at the time being.

He seemed to be utterly curious, looking upon certain things and would continue to grow more talented.

She didn't want to end it, she wanted to grow curious and with curiosity meant more flaws to pick holes in. She looked at Oliver as she walked through the rain and was reminded the water-wielding hero was just as optimistic as before. She wanted to see him tell her what she saw and how to cut it into pieces.

If anything? All she saw was a way to change it, to see it all die and destroy it all. Anything beyond that would not be all to be happy with now.

She didn't know him and she couldn't pretend to if anything. The oddity in him rocked her to the core more than it could then it was possible to try to understand. All of these problems and tribulations bothered her more than it was all too possible to at the second.

Oliver only seemed to be amused by it all. He was too ready to try and fight her if he had to and she knew such a thing didn't at all concern Oliver at the moment.

This was a lot worse than it could be. This was a trick of the eye, an odd little thing, something that could not be proven or want to try and understand more at the end of it all. The result would be harder and harder to try and focus more upon.

He didn't want to know what to do but he did know how to react, he did know what could be considered or even controlled.

He couldn't predict Kaina and she couldn't predict him besides what they had known before and to them? That scared the others, it scared them a lot to be sure of what they knew, to have even known about it, to be able to control such measures.

It stopped neither from trying, neither from knowing what was going on and what the other would do… They had far too much to understand about the other at the moment.

"Are you going to be fine with me sticking around then?" Kaina asked as she paused at the door. "Maybe, I don't know what I want with my life. There's a lot more to see and do at the time before today is over." Kaina said as Oliver shrugged.

"I'll lend you a hand as long as I think there's hope, you know that, Kaina. Go, just don't try and act like a cynic sniper, I'll stay here as long as I can." Oliver stated before he rubbed at his nose, all too done with today and his tribulations at the end of the day.

"We get over this, we're talking," Oliver stated before he looked to the side.

"This is going to be an odd little ride, you know it." Oliver heard before he waved it off and looked down at the ground.

He yawned and closed his eyes, too drained by the talk to even think or fathom it all, too thrown off by such measures to speak of anything or everything around him at the moment, they had a much bigger fish, one too easily beaten back. All of it simply looked around before now.

What little he could do at the moment, something that only continued to baffle her more and more with each waking moment, something that could and would continue to get better or worse continuing on it all.

"Sometimes it both fascinates and confounds me you consider anything worth it when you live around someone who hates just about everything in the galaxy. You know me and you do not have much in common yet you want to keep trying to be my friend so much that I don't understand you." Kaina said as she entered the shop.

She would not continue to grow more and more and more at the end of the day. This would become harder and harder at the end of the day, all too curious as to how well it'd be and what little he could control. She slipped inside and looked around with fascination as the small shop with at least 10 aisles called to her.

She didn't even want to know what drove Oliver to consider her… The least curious person alive to act like anything could or would matter, it just didn't at all seem like something that easily. She didn't at all know what to focus upon at the moment, there's a lot more to try and figure such things out now.

They had a lot more on their plate either wise and she knew more and more than whatever she needed. Well, it'd not at all be something that needed to try and end, needed to figure out.

Kaina was too busy thinking to be mad as she looked around, all too eager to fascinate herself with the toothbrushes and soaps that awaited her, anything to throw her off balance and off control of what she had been spiraling into.

They had a lot more pressing concerns either way, where they'd live if someone wound them, what the next move was and just what to fathom next. She had a lot more to favor, understand and control as she slowly yet surely fully walked up and down each aisle like a grim reaper.

Kaina's hands which were so used to using her quirk absentmindedly grabbed a basket and shoved a pair of shampoo bottles and a toothbrush into it as she went looking for a pair of pants and other clothes. If she was to be living in such a shadow that she couldn't control herself. She felt like she was living a script, one she had traipsed and proofed over dozens of thousands of times and was tired of already.

What it meant was something far beyond her control beyond what she had dealt with now and forever. She wandered the line far beyond what could be handled and for good if nothing else at the time being.

She seemed utterly unsure of what to say at the end of the day. She rubbed at her temples, too unsure, and decided now to try and deal with it properly.

She swiped a handful of things into the basket offhandedly, uncertain of what would be her next move as it came down to it.

She couldn't fight off all the heroes who would hunt her down and she couldn't just deal with such measures meant to hunt her down and kill her. She couldn't turn herself in since she'd end up going to Tartarus without even a chance of parole.

She also couldn't stay with Oliver, could she? There was a very good chance she'd get him killed if she stood beside him before now. Oliver wanted to do something to help her. But he was willing to die downwards and fall to the ground into the ground as she could tell.

She checked her pocket where the wad of cash still was. Kaina couldn't go on the run either, Oliver was right. She'd get chased off by the rest of it all and what it represented and controlled, what little she had known would be harder and harder to fight her way out.

It's something only controlled by her destiny and what to figure out at the moment, something that could only be figured out with time and effort. All of that was easier and easier to figure it all out and soon before anything came down to it.

They had something else to try and understand as of now and what little she could answer now. she cracked her fingers and looked down at the ground before now, before she slowly walked over to the counter, counting the toothbrush, a pair of pants, shirt, undergarments, and some food.

She'd need another job soon enough, soon before she could relax and take it easy. She needed more than the money she placed on the counter in front of her, looking up at the person in front of her. She wasn't at all sure what to even say as the two locked eyes upon one another, too engrossed in their activities to stop.

"I'm sorry, she's just quiet, it comes from a long day at work. Dear is just so tired that she's ready to drop sometime soon and if I don't help? Well, she gets plenty tired, it's not her or your fault. It's mine for forgetting." She heard before she sighed and looked to see Oliver next to her, too tired to even lift her head.

"I hate you I do." Oliver heard from Kaina as she looked downwards and seemed to be tired more and more. "Maybe I should just kill you… Dear." Kaina stated before she fell silent.

"She's just tired, too busy dealing with sleepless nights at the moment due to work. I'm getting there just as much and I'm so exhausted by life. Sometimes I forget to sleep or even eat." Oliver said before he yawned and looked down at the ground as of now.

He didn't doubt it was how part of him felt nor did he doubt the desire to do good at the moment. She doubted herself when it came to it simply because it was her nature, she had been born to be a weapon, a tool of justice pointed at those who as of now and for good and it became clearer and clearer that he just didn't get that part of her.

She didn't know what she had been doing here but she knew it was something that she dealt with easily at the moment and she liked it all the same.

All of it was relaxing at the moment, something better and better with time and effort as of now, just too much to try and figure out.

"I did not need help, you know," Kaina stated before he seemed to relax as of now. "But thank you, all the same, I'm still not at all sure why you are bothering to waste your time helping me when we aren't that close of friends," Kaina said to which Oliver simply rolled his eyes at the insinuation.

He knew she hated herself as she watched the bag pass over the counter. He knew she hated the mere idea of reforming after what she did, and he was all too familiar with the idea that she wanted something more.

What made him mad wasn't this, it was that she treated herself as lesser, something that could and would continue to be a problem, all of that just didn't at all grow when it came down to it.

All of it made him furious in a way that he rarely felt he was. if for no other reason than due to the desire not to be in such dire straits again. He didn't at all know what was going to happen at the moment. He was all too prepared for now as he looked down at the ground, eager to figure it all out.

It was something horrid for now as he cracked his fingers and looked down at the moment, focusing more and more on the woman in front of him as he looked down at Kaina. He hummed to himself as she finished the transaction and sighed, looking over at him with a tired smile.

All of it spoke of something that he liked seeing, her desire to be happy and her potential when it wasn't squandered by something as trivial as the past. She looked and grabbed the bag before turning down at the moment.

"Pretty sure I just saw a smile." Oliver said as they exited the store, "Good, you're finally relaxing at the moment. I'm really happy when it comes down to it. I don't know what to try and tell you but I know you're not the big grumpy girl you were a few seconds ago."

"I don't know what to tell you and I will not let you do something insane that could get you killed. There's too much on the line for us to just relax and a lot more for me to do something like this." Kaina heard before she relaxed once more, unsure and uncertain of her next move.

She could only smile at the moment, idiot… He was beyond an idiot. Someone who could only be contained once more, she could only be relaxed and could end for now. she would allow herself a moment of weakness, only offset by her desire to be superior to this. There was a lot more to relax to figure it all out.

They were going to scream and cry into the shadows of the day. All of this was a lot more to figure out for it to end. They had a lot more upon which she could keep coming more and more.

She didn't want to relax but she could and would, for now, something that could and would be allowed at the end of the day.

"We are going to have a long and serious talk about my loving conditions at the moment," Kaina said as she turned to look down at the ground.

Oliver nodded but fell silent, merely looking to the side as he seemed to relax once more. All of their maneuvers, their adventures, their goals, their fears? It became nicer and nicer, for now, a measure of peace is written across their faces, something that honestly bugged them to the end of their all desire.

"Relax. It will be easy sooner or later." Kaina heard as she sighed.
