[Royal Woods Retirement Community]
Albert was sitting in his room with Melmetal deep in thought after his girlfriend's roommate had a discussion with him earlier that day.
[Flashback]
"I'm really sorry again for eavesdropping on your conversation with your family Albert but my little Clyde has been so worried about Lincoln lately I wanted to have a conversation to see if you knew anything when I happened over hear some of your conversation with your family."said Gayle in a apologetic tone as she was not one who liked eavesdropping.
"It's okay Gayle I completely understand why you did what you did and don't worry I will have a conversation with your grandson and Lincoln's other friend on what I know about Lincoln's disappearance and where he currently is."said Albert how understood my Gayle did what she did as he was a grandparent too.
"Thanks Albert I can see why Myrtle loves you so much."
"Yeah..."
[Flashback End]
"Well old friend this is going to be quite the awkward conversation with Lincoln's friends..."said Albert as his Pokemon tried to comfort him.
"I managed to keep you a secret for so many years and I know it wasn't fair to you but the Pokemon League was firm on their decision I'm just glad you understood all this time. Come which give you your breakfast."said Albert as he pulled out a dog bowl full of lug nuts and screws.
Melmetal quickly took the bowl from Albert's hand and began eating it as Melmetal's love to eat metal and anything metal related.
"I'm so glad so I've had you around partner as you've been there for me during my toughest moments. Now you will be there for me once more."said Albert his Melmetal patted his shoulder indicating that everything would be okay.

"I still can't believe you decided to come back with me to Royal Woods."said a teenage boy with dark hair wearing a white shirt covered by an open green plaid button up shirt.
"Oh don't worry about it Bobby I wanted to show Sid my old stomping grounds that's why I agreed to go in the first place. So I'll be going off to see some friends and Sid and I will rendezvous with you later at the Loud house."said Ronnie Anne as that was her excuse to get her brother Bobby to take her and Sid to Royal Woods.
"Yeah I wanted to see where my best friend grew up so I begged her to come along."said Sid adding on to the LIE.
"Well I be talking to Lori so you guys just be careful out there. Oh what am I saying there's no way Ronnie Anne Santiago cannot take care of herself."said Bobby who knew that before they moved away to Great Lake City Ronnie Anne was the toughest girl in Royal Woods Elementary School.
"Yeah the good old days."said Ronnie Anne as she looked at her watch knowing that they had to get to the house soon in order to rendezvous with Clyde.

Meanwhile Clyde and his Dad's were making their way to Franklin Street at the very same time with Clyde having his seatbelt in helmet as his parents were extremely protective... some would say overly protective of their son.
"All right son Nana Gayle has already confirmed everything with Albert and he agreed to have a sit down with us."said Harold.
"Don't worry Clyde no matter what he says at least your mind can be put at ease knowing Lincoln is okay."said Howard hoping that his words would put his son at ease.
"Yeah Dad I just want to know the whole story on what's going on..."said Clyde wondering what his friend was doing on some island off the coast of the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile the Casagrandre Mercado van parked in front of the Loud house and all three occupants walked out of the van.
"Okay I'm going to go inside you two just do what you were planning to do."said Bobby as he made his way through the front yard.
Ronnie Anne and Sid quickly made their move and ran off from the house as quickly as possible as they knew as soon as Bobby wrong the door someone would answer as after all there was a lot of people in the house meaning it wouldn't take long for someone to answer the door.
Ronnie Anne and Sid ran down Franklin Street until Ronnie Anne saw a familiar van which he recognized as the McBride's family transportation vehicle.
"What took you guys so long?"asked Clyde as he opened the van's doors.
"Don't get us started."said Ronnie Anne as she and Sid entered the van and quickly put their seat belts on as soon as they sat down.
"Hey Mr McBride and Mr McBride this is my Sid Chang."said Ronnie Anne as she introduced her friend.
"Hey Ronnie Anne told me a lot about you guys it's finally nice to meet you."said Sid as she shook both Howard and Harold McBride's hands.
"Nice to meet you too young lady now let's get to the retirement community."said Harold as he began driving the family van to the Royal Woods Retirement Community to talk with Albert.

A short drive and call from the nurse later Clyde, Ronnie Anne, and Sid were in Albert's room as the matter McBride's went to go see Nana Gayle and ask her how she was doing at the retirement community she had recently moved into.
"So..."
"Just call me Albert."
"Albert can you tell us where Lincoln is?"asked Ronnie Anne with Clyde and Sid waiting to hear what he had to say.
"Lincoln is on an island known as Galar where he is training to become a Pokemon trainer and has recently taken part in something called the gym challenge where he will battle eight facilities and collect badges for a chance to take on the champion of Galar."said Albert leaving the three young preteens confused.
"Pokemon?"
"Trainer?"
"Gym Challenge?"
"Allow me to answer two of those three questions by introducing you all to my oldest friend."said Albert as he pulled out a Pokeball and tossed into the air releasing Melmetal.
"Mel!"exclaimed the Hex Nut Pokemon as it flexed its mighty arms.
"Cool!"Exclaimed Sid, Ronnie Anne, and Clyde who was scared were mostly amazed as they had never seen such a creature before in their lives.
"Allow me to tell you everything I know..."said Albert who knew this would be a long speech.

"THEY TREATED HIM LIKE GARBAGE FOR A STRAIGHT WEEK AND THEN HAD THE NERVE TO FORGET HIS BIRTHDAY! WELL NO WONDER HE WAS SO UPSET THAT HE RAN OFF I WOULD TOO!"exclaimed Ronnie Anne at the top of her lungs as she couldn't believe the Loud family had such nerve to do something like that.
"Ronnie Anne I agree that's low but you need to calm down before you start punching someone who doesn't deserve it."said Sid and she tried to calm her best friend down even though she was upset too by the news.
"Wow... that's low."said Clyde was truly disappointed with the Loud family.
"Yes and I already gave him an earful for that and I told Lincoln about it when I had my conversation with him yesterday."
"You spoke with him?"asked Clyde."
"Yes and before you get your hopes up young man he can only use his Rotom phone in a Pokémon center if he wants to call someone here in the states. So I'm sorry if you want to speak with him you will have to wait until he gets to a Pokemon center and calls."said Albert who hated bursting Clyde's bubble.
"Oh..."
"So what did you talk about?"asked Ronnie Anne.
"Well..."said Albert as he began with calling the conversation yesterday he had with his grandson.
[Flashback]
"Hey Pop-pop it's me Lincoln..."said Lincoln once again in case his grandfather did not hear him.
"I was expecting a call from you at some point."responded his grandfather.
"Look if it's about how rationally I acted when I run away to Galar I truly am sorry I was just... I was just so angry and my family after everything I put up with for them to just forget about my birthday and all the other stuff they did to me! It was just too much."
"Lincoln I understand where you're coming from and while I think you shouldn't have run away I can see how in your anger and blindness of rage you did what you did. But there's no turning back the clock and you're already legally emancipated so there's nothing your family can really do anymore."said Albert who just took a deep breath to calm down.
"I am really glad I came though Pop-pop. I never knew such a world existed until now and I want to see you so much more of it."said Lincoln who was referring to the world of Pokemon.
"I know how you feel I felt the exact same way when I first discovered Pokemon. I could never finish my goal will be coming up Pokémon master but I have a feeling that you can live up to that legacy since I have always believed you should have been a Pokemon trainer Lincoln and now you're doing just that."said Albert who was truly proud of his grandson.
"Thanks Pop-pop I was honestly surprised by everything Professor Magnolia told me. I hope I can live up to your expectations as after I leave the Pokemon center I'll be registering for the gym challenge for a chance to take on Leon."
"Ah yes Magnolia told me about the undefeated champion so I see you plan to be his first defeat. Well all I can say is good luck out there."said Albert with a smile as he heard someone in the back calling Lincoln.
"Oh that's me I have to get going Pop-pop love you and I hope to see you again."said Lincoln as he put lightfully hanged up the phone after he and his grandfather exchanged goodbyes on good terms.
[Flashback End]
"Yeah that's basically what Lincoln is doing I hope everything I told you will satisfy any questions you might have had and put your minds at ease."said Albert who was glad to tell Lincoln's friends what was going on.
"Thanks Albert and thank you for clarifying everything with us."said Clyde honestly did feel a lot better knowing that Lincoln was okay.
"Yeah I actually feel pretty good right now knowing that he's okay."said Ronnie Anne.
"Even though I don't know him that well I still consider him a friend and I'm glad he's doing okay... although I will admit I'm a little jealous now that I know there are creatures out there that even my mom doesn't know about."said Sid has she wanted to know more about Pokemon.

A while later Sid and Ronnie Anne were back in the Casagrandre Mercado van driving back to Great Lake City with Bobby who had some lipstick on his cheek.
Ronnie Anne wanted to tell Bobby everything but knew she needed evidence first if she wanted him to believe her as Bobby was extremely gullible and would believe any lie Lori would tell him.
Sid was a bit distracted as Albert gave her a book on known Pokémon and she was reading a carefully wanting to know everything about Pokemon as she could.
Ronnie Anne was also reading the same book to pass the time.
Clyde meanwhile was back in his house reading a similar book.
"So are we really doing this."asked Clyde who was on the phone with Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah Clyde we all agreed that we would do everything we could to join lame-o on his journey."responded Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah I want to see what the world of Pokemon has to offer as there are so many creatures out there I didn't know existed until today that I'm dying to know more about them."said Sid with a smile on her face.
All three left the retirement community with a similar goal but they didn't tell their parents yet as they wanted to build their case first and knew they needed time.
They plan to ask Albert to ask Professor Magnolia to send them tickets to go to Galar to become Pokemon trainers.
But first they needed their parents permission!
To join Lincoln on his journey to collect the gym badges for a chance to take on Champion Leon!
Hey guys PrimusPilus here with some news.Now the reason I updated so early is because... if I'm being completely honest it's because I was bored and had nothing better to do.But through my board I might have made some of my greatest work so I hope you enjoy it.Next chapter will be out in a couple of days that well commence in the official ceremony thereby starting Lincoln's journey down the path to collect gym badges for a chance to take on Leon as the Rose Cup.
