Morning came early for the Budew drop inn as an alarm clock awoke Lincoln from his slumber!
"Ahhahahahha!"said Said as he rose from his bed and started rubbing his eyes looking around wondering where he was until he saw his Pokemon.
"...Oh yeah I have to get ready for the ceremony today."said Lincoln as he got up and got dressed.
As soon as he finished putting on his clothes, Lincoln walked into the hallway and headed towards the nearest elevator to head towards the Lord's the lobby.
As the elevator was heading towards the lobby Lincoln began thinking.
'Man I can't believe today is finally the day! I am officially going to start my journey towards the gym challenge. I know Hop will be a potential rival since he does have potential and who knows who else is out there. Especially that Wooloo haired jerk from yesterday! But let's not think about that right now let's focus on getting to the stadium on time.' thought Lincoln at the elevator door open to the lobby to which he quickly left the elevator and stepped into the lobby.
There he saw Hop practicing his Pokeball throw, before he noticed Lincoln and decided to say hello.
"Hey Lincoln today is finally the day we set out to see who will challenge Lee."said Hop with a smile that said that he was happy and determined not to lose.
"Don't think just because we're friends I'm going to go easy on you."
"I wouldn't have it any other way Hop, I plan to challenge your brother so that means if we have to battle at some point then so be it."said Lincoln as the two shuck hands determine not to lose to the other.
"All's fair in love and war."
"Yeah let's get to the stadium."
"I'll see you there."said Hop as once again he began running and Lincoln didn't bother chasing him this time since he knew he couldn't beat Hop in a foot race.
"That guy would probably be first place in the 100 meter dash every time."said Lincoln as he began walking down the steps passing the statue of the hero before leaving the Budew drop inn.
There standing outside was a Pokemon League official wearing a standard issue Pokemon League uniform.
"Challenger Lincoln since it's come to our attention that you're not from here allow me to escort you to the stadium."said the official.
"Sure I don't mind as long as it gets me to the stadium on time."said Lincoln has he in the official begin walking towards the stadium.

A short while later Lincoln and the Pokemon official we're standing in front of the Monostoke City stadium.
"Well I got to get going but you go inside and get ready as the ceremony will begin soon."said the official as a politely excuse himself.
"Well here goes nothing."said Lincoln as he walked inside and made his way to the front desk.
"Ah if it isn't one of the challengers endorsed by the champion I'm glad to see you made it on time. Here is your uniform that you have to wear during all formal events. Please head to the locker rooms to change as the ceremony will be starting very soon."said the front desk clerk as he handed Lincoln the uniform.
Lincoln quickly looked over the uniform and liked what he was seeing so he went to the locker rooms to change.
A short while later Lincoln was wearing a soccer like Jersey similar to Leon's uniform but but instead of a sword and shield on the front it had the logo of the Pokémon League and on back was the number he chose 126.
"Ah yes that uniform perfectly fits you and that 126 is definitely the number for you. Now follow everyone else into the stadium as the ceremony is about to begin in a few minutes."said the clerk as Lincoln followed the rest of the gym challengers to their area.

A few minutes later the ceremony to commence the annual gym challenge officially began!
The stadium was packed with cheering people and Pokémon as a man in a formal looking suit walked up to a woman in a red dress and lab coat.
This man was none other than the head of the Pokemon League for the Galar region Chairman Rose.
And the woman next to him is his assistant Oleana.
Oleana handy chairman Rose a microphone as the spotlights focused on him.
"Welcome on and all to the commencement of the annual gym challenge! Yes the gym Challenge, the very big moment we've been waiting for all year! Many young aspiring trainers will try to earn eight gym badges for a chance to battle it out so that so that one lucky individual has a chance to challenge the greatest champion in the history of Galar!"exclaimed the Chairman sending the crowd into a frenzy.
"But don't think for a second that getting those gym badges are easy as we're quite proud of our gym leaders that call Galar their home! So without further Ado let's have our gym Leaders come out and greet you the fans!"exclaimed Chairman Rose as the gym leaders stepped forth on to the field...
"First we have the fighting farmer, here's the grass type expert Milo!"
"Then let us introduce you to the beautiful raging wave, it's the master of water types Nessa!"
"The ever burning Man of fire the fire type veteran Kabu."
"The Galar karate prodigy! Nobody is better with fighting types then Bea!"
"The master of fantastic theater! It's the charming fairy type user Opal!"
"The hard rock crusher! introducing the master of rock types Gordie!"
"Ands last but not least it's the master of dragons and the top gym leader Raihan!"
"Unfortunately we are missing one gym leader but...These are the Gym leaders we are proud to call our own!"
All the gym leader stood in the middle of the field with the spotlight completely on them as the crowds were cheering their names.
Finally it came to be the gym challengers turn to take the field and Lincoln slowly walked out of the always that led into the stadium before heading on to the grassy field looking around in amazement as he heard crowds of people cheering for him and his fellow gym challengers as they all walked onto the field.
Lincoln in that moment never felt more special before in his life.

After the ceremony was finally over Lincoln and Hop we're back in their normal clothes and back in the main lobby of the stadium.
"Man... that was intense."said Lincoln who never felt more nervous before in his life than standing in front of all those people.
"I know what you mean Lincoln that was really nerve-racking being in front of all those people but then again I felt strangely...happy."said Hop who couldn't quite put his thumb on why he was feeling like that.
"I know what you mean all those people yelling out our names and supporting us telling us we can go far I mean... it's just..wow."said Lincoln before he knows that Leon and chairman Rose were approaching them.
"Lee!"Yelled out hop.
"I manage to spot you to despite all those gym challengers. I must say you guys certainly put on quite a show imagine keep your cool, I remember the first time I stood there on the field and I was extremely nervous that I could hardly speak."admittedly Leon.
"So these are the challengers you endorsed yourself personally Leon."said the Chairman as he was noticing Lincoln and Hop's dynamax bands.
"It's nice to meet you Chairman Rose."said Lincoln and Hop as they shook the chairman's hands.
"Nice to meet you too as well and I see they both possess dynamax bands already I'll let you know you two that it was my company who made those wonderful inventions."said the chairman.
"Wow really?!"
"Yes in fact it's because of those bands that Pokemon battling has become so popular here in Galar. I hope you two put those dynamax bands to good use."said the chairman before looking at his watch.
"So sorry to be rude but I really must get going since I have a meeting that I urgently need to get to before I get another earful from Oleana."said the chairman as he politely excused himself before walking off to what looked like some kind of taxi being pulled by a giant bird like Pokemon.
"I got to get going to you too but don't worry I know you two will make it far but I got to warn you the gym leaders are tough especially Raihan, as he has knocked out more of my Pokemon than anyone else ever has."said Leon causing a drop of sweat to fall down from Lincoln.
Just how strong was Raihan?
"See ya Lee! And don't worry I won't stop until I get all eight gym badges and challenge you for that champion title!"said Hop as Leon excused himself and walked away.
"The first gym is in Turffield! Which is just pass route three and the Galar mines. Come on Lincoln let's head out as that ceremony took longer than I thought so we're probably going to have to camp out near the mines."said Hop as he did his usual stick of jogging away before Lincoln had a chance to say anything.
"That guy can really go pro one day with those fast legs of his."said linking with a smile as he ran after his friend.
As soon as Lincoln left the stadium he saw crowds of people cheering for him yelling out his name specifically saying how he was a great gym Challenger and they had a lot of expectations for him.
"Win Lincoln!"
"Show us what a gym Challenger from the states can do!"
"We'll be cheering for you!"
Lincoln couldn't help but smile as that was the first time that a group of complete strangers had so much faith in him.
"I won't let you guys down."said Lincoln as he ran towards route tree determined to get through it as fast as possible.
As he really wanted to get to Turffield and challenge the first gym leader Milo and earn the Grass badge!

I personally think I did a pretty okay job not too good not too bad just somewhere in the middle.
Anyway next chapter will focus on on adventure Lincoln will have on route three as we won't be going back to the louds until Scorbunny evolves!
