"Wow I can't believe how many fields of grain and other plants are here."said Lincoln as Turffield certainly lived up to housing the grass type gym leader and the grass badge.
All throughout the town Lincoln could see fields filled with different crops. One one side there was pumpkins while on the other there were apple trees. One field was entirely made up of corn.
"If I wasn't still full from breakfast I would totally have asked some of those Farmers for some of their crops as they look absolutely delicious. They don't look like they use any pesticides or anything as these plans look like the most natural plants I've ever seen."said Lincoln to himself before he heard someone yell something.
"Look out!"
But it was too late as Lincoln was knocked to the floor by a run away Wooloo.
"Gotcha you naughty Wooloo! How many times do I have to tell you you're not allowed to run away from the gym."said the young man who was chasing the Wooloo.
Lincoln meanwhile got up from the floor and dusted himself off before noticing that the young man chasing the runaway sheep Pokemon was none other than the gym leader Milo!
"Sorry about that- hey I know you! You're one of the trainers endorsed by the champion."said Milo as he remembered seeing Lincoln at the ceremony.
"Yeah that's me."said Lincoln who wondered if it was unusual for the champion to endorse someone.
"Usually it's quite rare for the champions to endorse someone but for you and his little brother to be endorsed you must be something special."said Milo who wondered what Lincoln was made of.
"Yeah and that's one of the reasons why I came to challenge your gym."said Lincoln with a determined look on his face.
"Well if you want to defeat my gym you're going to have to pass my gym challenge and then beat me in a Pokemon battle. I warn you now I'm as tough as weeds so I won't go down easily!"said Milo with a determine look on his face.
"Bring it as I will earn your grass badge!"
"Well come on down to the gym and test your might. I will be waiting for you there. Come on Wooloo let's go "said Milo as Wooloo and him went on their way back to the gym.
Lincoln on the other hand decided to go to the Pokemon Center for a quick checkup before heading off to the gym.
"Okay according to this map on my Rotom phone the Turffield Pokemon Center should just be... wow it's really close to the gym... lucky me!"said Lincoln as he began making his way to the Pokemon Center which happened to be close to the stadium where he would have his Pokémon battle.

A short while later Lincoln is currently waiting for his Pokemon to get healed when he ran into a familiar face that ran ahead of him before they left Monostoke city.
"Hey Lincoln!"said Hop as he ran over to his friend.
"I see your here as well Hop."said Lincoln as Hop pulled out the grass badge and showed it to Lincoln.
"Wow Hop that's impressive!"said Lincoln who was amazed that Hop had already challenged the gym and earned his gym badge.
"Yeah the gym challenge wasn't that hard since I've been wrangling Wooloo since I was in diapers. But let me tell you that gym leader is tricky as he always has strategies in place against type disadvantage."said Hop who couldn't believe that the first gym was so difficult.
"Well I shouldn't be surprised since he is a gym leader. Of course you'll have strategies in place."said Lincoln who realized he needed to stay on his toes if you wanted to beat Milo.
"Lincoln Loud please come to the counter! Your Pokemon are all healed and ready to go!"said Nurse Joy as Lincoln excuse himself with Hop before heading off to the Pokemon Center counter.
"Thank you for the wait your Pokemon are all healed and ready to go."said Nurse Joy as she handed Lincoln back his Pokeballs.
"Thanks Nurse Joy."
"Be careful with Milo as although he's the first gym he does make himself difficult for people who need to earn his badge. People don't call him the Fighting Farmer for nothing."said Nurse Joy as she knew personally how many trainers tried to beat Milo and failed.
"I will! Thanks Nurse Joy."said Lincoln as he walked out of the Pokemon Center.
As he was about to make his way to the gym he suddenly ran into a familiar looking Pokemon which consisted of Sonia's Yamper.
"Yamper Yamper!"said the puppy Pokemon as they look like he wanted Lincoln to follow him.
"What is it boy? You want me to follow you?"asked Lincoln as the puppy Pokemon not in his head.
"Okay..."said Lincoln as Yamper began running with Lincoln close behind.
Lincoln continued following Yamper until they reached a bunch of stone pillars with strange shapes and markings and there he saw in the middle was none other than Sonia.
"Hey Sonia."said Lincoln as Yamper ran up to his trainer.
"Good boy! I had a feeling you were in Turffield Lincoln so I sent Yamper to go find you since I wanted to show you something."said Sonia as she was petting her Pokémon.
"What is it?"asked Lincoln as Sonia motion for him to follow her which he did.
Lincoln followed Sonia until they reached an incredible landscape that looked like an actual painting engraved into the ground which showed off what looked like a giant Pokémon attacking a town.
"What is that?"he asked.
"That it's called a geoglyph and can you tell me what it describes?"asked Sonia as Lincoln pulled out his Rotom phone to take a picture.
"Hmm... I'm assuming it's about The Darkest Day since that's what your researching."said Lincoln as Sonia began clapping.
"Good observation as the geoglyph representing the cloud has mostly disappeared."said Sonia as she stopped clapping and looked at the geoglyph.
"What is The Darkest Day and what does it have to do with dynamaxing?..I guess I'm the lucky lady who will have to figure that out...Gran sure gives me a lot to do."said Sonia as she began twirling her hair.
"Thanks for hearing my two cents as I know it must have been distracting since you came here to challenge Milo."apologized Sonia.
"No problem if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have seen this awesome geoglyph."said Lincoln as he politely excused himself before heading back to the Turffield gym.

Once he was in front of the stadium Lincoln took a deep breath and tried to come down his nerves as he knew this was the first big step towards the championship.
"Okay Lincoln calm down this is your big moment!"said Lincoln to himself as he was trying to calm his nerves.
"This is the big step Lincoln after you take this step there's no turning back."said Lincoln trying to motivate himself as he walked into the stadium.
Inside Lincoln was amazed how fancy it was as it looked like a bunch of people were getting ready to go into the stands. Other individuals were selling food like hot dogs and ice cream to the little kids who came here with their parents.
Lincoln smiled before turning his attention to what look like the door to the gym challenge and quickly made his way over there to speak to the League official who was in front of.
"I see you're one of the gym challenges, are here here the challenge the gym?"asked The League official.
"Yes I am!"said Lincoln with determination.
"Then go to the changing room to change and then come back when you're ready to take on the gym."said The League official has he pointed to where the changing room was and Lincoln quickly headed over there.
Once inside the changing room Lincoln began to change out of his trainer outfit into his gym outfit which consisted of his gym jersey with his number 126 on the back.
"Well... there's no turning back now!"said Lincoln as he finished changing and stepped out and headed back to the League official.
"Remember when doing the gym challenge you cannot quit until you complete the challenge. There is no time limit but it's best that you do it as quickly as possible as we do have a stadium full of fans."said the League official as Lincoln knew from experience from Lynn's games how rowdy fans could get if they were forced to wait so he nodded his head in understanding.
"Great now step fourth gym Challenger and begin the gym challenge!"said The League official as he got out of the way.
'Okay Lincoln this is it! Time to take the official first step on the road to the gym challenge which will lead you to Leon!' thought Lincoln as he step fourth to take on the gym challenge.

Inside Lincoln was amazed that inside the gym was a large room with several pastor fields. In the middle of the room there was several Wooloo... at least twenty of them that he could count.
Lincoln walk down the stairs slowly as he noticed that there was also a pair of Yamper waiting for him down below.
He also noticed that another League official with blonde hair and a mustache was approaching him.
"Welcome to the Turffield stadium gym challenge. Your mission is to round up all of these Wooloo into their respective corrals while the Yamper try to get in your way! Once you are finished please head to the other side of the room and once you pass through those doors the gym leader Milo will be waiting for you on the other end! My name is Dan and are you ready to begin challenger Lincoln?"asked Dan as he pulled out a whistle.
"I am!"said Lincoln with determination as he slapped himself on his cheeks.
"Then let the gym challenge officially begin!"said Dan as he blew his whistle indicating that the challenge has already begun.
Lincoln wasted no time and started running towards the Wooloo and luckily for him as soon as they sell him to began rolling which main things easier for him.
A Yamper tried to get in his way but Lincoln quickly stood in front of him and luckily the Pokemon didn't even bother to pass him as the Wooloo were being corralled into the second patch of grass!
Lincoln quickly began following the herd of sheep Pokemon as two more Yamper tried to get in his way! Lincoln smiled as in his mind he imagined the twins so he began to use a strategy he created just in case something like this wherever to happen back in his home in Royal Woods.
Lincoln quickly began zigzagging between the Wooloo and using his body as a shield to keep the puppy Pokemons at bay while the Wooloo made it into the third and final pastor!
Lincoln then noticed that the three puppy Pokemon were now working in teams to try to get in Lincoln's way but Lincoln expected this as when he grew up with a house with rowdy sisters it's natural that he has plans as it was always one vs ten in that household!
Lincoln quickly began zigzagging and using the mini hedges to confuse the puppy Pokemon as they followed him through the hedges all the while they didn't realize that Lincoln was using himself as bait to distract them as the herd of sheep Pokemon made it into their corrals successfully.
Ten Wooloo went to the right! And ten Wooloo went to the left!
As soon as the Yamper noticed them the Wooloo were corralled they quickly run away to the respective doggy houses while Lincoln walked up the stairs of the opposite side of the room.
As soon as he reached the final step steam came out of the two pipes next to the door as the announcer gave a announcement.
"Congratulations you successfully finish the gym challenge and you can now head to the next room to challenge the gym leader Milo!"said the announcer as the doors opened and Lincoln went through them.
...
Lincoln suddenly found himself in a dark hallway as that was the next room.
"What is this, where's the battlefield?"asked Lincoln to himself before he hit a crowd of cheering people and saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
"Huh... I'm guessing it's that way."said Lincoln as you begin walking fourth and as he was making his way over there he began to think of a strategy.
'Okay I think I should use Butterfree and Scorbunny for this one! Both Pokémon have a type advantage over Milo's grass types and I already came up with strategies last night on how to use them against his grass type Pokemon. I don't know what Milo's going to pull out of his sleeve but I better be ready since Hop already earned his gym badge so I need to do the same!' thought Lincoln as he walked forth onto the field and was amazed by what he saw.
It looked just like the field in Monostoke city as it was big and full of grass and all around the stadium where crowds are cheering people wearing different clothes but they were all green in some way!
'These must be Milo's fans.' thought Lincoln to himself as he made his way to the center of the field noticing that Milo was doing the same as he had stepped out as soon as Lincoln stepped out onto the field.
Both the Challenger and the gym leader made their way to the center of the field and stood there to face one another as soon as they did!
"Since my gym is the first stop on the gym challenge I get a lot of gym challengers so I made my gym challenge quite difficult but I'm surprised you managed to pass through it so easily."
"Compared to what I had to wrangle at home for years this was nothing."said Lincoln as compared to his sister's the Wooloo were like a walk in the park.
"Let's see if your battle against me will be easy like the gym challenge."said Milo as the referee stepped onto the field and took his position in the middle.
"This will be at two on two Pokemon battle between the gym Challenger Lincoln and the gym leader Milo! The battle will be over when one side's Pokemon are unable to battle! Additionally only the Challenger will be allowed to substitute in battle. Are both sides ready?"asked the referee as Lincoln and Milo nodded their heads.
"Then take your positions and let the battle begin!"exclaimed the referee as Lincoln and Milo walked away from one another and headed to their respective parts of the field.
Once they were on opposite sides of the field Lincoln and Milo pulled out their Pokeballs and cold out their first Pokemon.
"Butterfree I choose you!"
"Gossifluer come on out!
Both Pokemon came out of their Pokeballs and faced one another in the battlefield. Lincoln did not recognize the Pokémon Milo is using so he pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokémon in front of him.
Pokedex: Gossifluer, the flowering Pokemon. It anchors itself to the ground with its single leg, the basks in the sun. After absorbing enough sunlight, it's pedal spread as it blooms brilliantly.
"As expected of a grass type gym leader."said Lincoln as he had a feeling this Pokemon would be more difficult than expected.
"I give you the first move Lincoln."said Milo as Lincoln took the chance and called out his first move.
"Butterfree use gust!"ordered Lincoln as the butterfly Pokemon began flapping its wings releasing powerful gusts of wind.
"Gossifluer dodge and use rapid spin!"ordered Milo as the flowering Pokemon avoided the gust attack and began spinning around like a fast-moving top.
Butterfree was confused before Gossifluer using its powerful spinning attacked it using rapid spin causing damage.
"Butterfree while Gossifluer is close to you use bug bite!"ordered Lincoln and Butterfree did as he commanded.
Since Gossifluer was so close Butterfree use the chance to swoop down and bite the flowering Pokemon with the bug bite attack causing significant damage as it was super effective.
"Gossifluer!"exclaimed the flowering Pokemon as it barely landed on its foot.
"Are you okay?!"
"Gossifluer!"
"Okay then use sing!"ordered Milo as the flowering Pokemon began singing.
As Lincoln looked on with confusion he noticed that Butterfree was starting to fall asleep and soon the butterfly Pokemon fell to the floor completely asleep.
"This must be his strategy against bug type Pokemon! Butterfree get up!"said Lincoln but the butterfly Pokemon was sound asleep.
"Use rapid spin again and again!"ordered Milo as the flowering Pokemon once again began spinning like a top and with one quick motion began hitting the butterfly Pokemon again and again with rapid spin attack over and over again.
"Butterfree!"exclaimed Lincoln as Gossifluer struck the butterfly Pokemon one last time sending it flying towards Lincoln.
Lincoln caught the butterfly Pokemon and as soon as he looked down he noticed that Butterfree was knocked out.
"Butterfree is unable to battle which means this part of the battle goes to Milo and Gossifluer!"declared the referee as Lincoln recalled Butterfree.
"You did an excellent job and did absolutely nothing wrong as I should have better prepared you for it! you more than deserve a nice rest."said Lincoln as he pulled out another Pokeball.
"Scorbunny I choose you!"declared Lincoln as he tossed his pokeball releasing the rabbit Pokémon onto the battlefield.
"Scor!"exclaimed Scorbunny with power and determination as he looked at his opponent.
"Gossifluer use sing!"
"Scorbunny use quick attack!"ordered Lincoln knowing that quick attack would hit first.
Sure enough Scorbunny quickly rushed over to Gossifluer and struck the flowering Pokemon preventing it from using sing. Lincoln knew it was now or never.
"Scorbunny use ember!"ordered Lincoln and the rabbit Pokémon data has he was told as he quickly fired a blast of ember at the flowering Pokemon successfully hitting it causing super effective!
"Gossifluer!"exclaimed Milo as Gossifluer fell to the ground revealing that it was knocked out.
"Gossifluer is unable to battle! Which means that this part of the battle belongs to Lincoln and Scorbunny!"declared the referee as Milo recalled his Pokemon.
"You did an excellent job out there and you more than deserve a good rest."said Milo as he pulled out another Pokeball.
"Eldegoss come on out!"exclaimed Milo as he called out his next Pokemon.
"Eldegoss!"exclaimed the Pokémon that looks sort of like Gossifluer as Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Eldegoss, the cotton bloom Pokemon and the evolved form of Gossifluer. The seeds attached to its cotton fluff are full of nutrients. It spreads them on the win so that plants and other Pokemon can benefit from them.
"If you're the evolved form that you must must be tough."said Lincoln as he noticed that Milo was looking at him with a glint in his eye.
"Lincoln I think it's about time that you and me dynamax our Pokémon!"said Milo is Lincoln smiled as well.
"I couldn't agree with you more!"said Lincoln who saw a picture demonstration of how to dynamax his Pokemon during his test so he at least knew somewhat what he was doing.
Without saying another word both trainers we call their Pokemon and place their pokeballs next to their dynamax bands!
As soon as the pokeballs were next to the dynamax bands they immediately began glowing before releasing a bit of dynamax energy causing the Pokeball to expand greatly!
With one quick throw with Milo using one hand and Lincoln having to use both they toss their pokeballs releasing their Pokemon surrounded by dynamax energy and soon they began to expand in size!
"Scor!"exclaimed Scorbunny as he was full of dynamax energy!
"Yes!"said Lincoln to himself as he was happy that he managed to do such a good job.
"This will really lead you all in Lincoln as this is our dynamax move! Eldegoss use Max overgrowth!"ordered Milo as Eldegoss release giant green seeds out of its cotton hair that immediately landed near Scorbunny.
"Lincoln and Scorbunny were confused until they saw what the move was intended to do!
Without warning the seeds exploded into massive green plants and mushrooms causing damage to Scorbunny before they disappeared leaving behind green energy.
"Nice use Max knuckle!"ordered Lincoln as Scorbunny ran over towards the cotton bloom Pokemon and punched it with the fighting type move, causing damage!
"Eldegoss use Max strike!"ordered Milo as small cracks in the earth appeared underneath Scorbunny's feet and caused the rabbit Pokemon damage!
"Scorbunny use max flare!"ordered Lincoln as Scorbunny inspired a massive bloom of flames towards Eldegoss causing the cotton flower Pokemon significant damage.
"Eldegoss use Max strike again!"ordered Milo as cracks started appearing underneath Scorbunny again.
"Scorbunny dodge and finish this battle with Max flare!"ordered Lincoln.
The rabbit Pokemon complied with his trainers command and quickly jumped out of the way before he could be struck with Max strike. once his giant feet were on the ground he immediately used Max flare giant ball of flame at Eldegoss.
Eldegoss was struck with the attack and I'm second later it began trigging down in size before falling down to the floor revealing that it was knocked out.
"Eldegoss is unable to battle which means this battle belongs to Lincoln and Scorbunny. That also means the winner of the gym challenge and the gym battle is Lincoln Loud the Challenger!"declared the referee as the rabbit Pokémon shrunk down back to his normal size.
"We won?...WE WON! Huh?!"exclaimed Lincoln as he noticed that his partner Pokemon began glowing...?!
Soon Scorbunny was surrounded by a bluish white light as he began to grow in size and his ears began to flop as what appeared to be pockets appeared on his stomach!
Soon a Pokémon that look very similar to Scorbunny stood where Scorbunny once stood. Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Raboot, the rabbit Pokemon and the evolved form of Scorbunny! Its thick and fluffy fur protects from the cold and enables it to use hotter fire moves.
"Raboot?"asked Lincoln nervously before his Pokemon ran over to give him a big hug.
"Oh I'm glad you're still the same on the inside Raboot!"said Lincoln as he and his partner Pokemon hugged.
Milo meanwhile recalled Eldegoss back to her Pokeball.
"You did an excellent job out there you more than deserve a good rest."said Milo before putting the Pokeball away and walking towards Lincoln.
"I must say you impress me out there what with you using quick attack to disable Gossifluer's sing before your Pokemon could hear it. I have a lot of faith that you will reach the top one day and I can't wait to see that day. Take this Grass badge as confirmation that you beat me."said Milo as he handed the grass badge over to Lincoln as they shook hands.
Lincoln looked at the grass bad just tears of joy fell down his face before spitting around and showing everyone his grass badge causing the crowds to cheer.
"I just won the grass badge!"declared Lincoln as reboot and him fist bumped.

A short while later linking was in front of the Pokemon Center looking at the moon and smiling as he had finished his first real challenge by defeating Milo.
"As soon as morning hits I'm heading to Route five to get to Hulbury to challenge Nessa!"said Lincoln to himself before he walked into the Pokemon Center to call it a night.
He had finished his first step towards reaching the championship cup, but he knew he had a long way to go as he needed to reach Hulbury to challenge the raging wave Nessa!
But that was future Lincoln's problem for now right now Lincoln was going to sleep in the Pokemon Center as his Pokemon needed a good rest for all their hard work.

Hey guys PrimusPilus here with some news.
Again sorry I put A Loud's Galar Journey up for adoption but I was overwhelmed and I quickly grew bored with it as writing two stories so similar can get really boring.
But don't worry that won't happen with this story.
Next chapter Lincoln adds two more additional Pokemon to his team as he trains himself to prepare for Nessa in Hulbury.
Who will these Pokemon be?
