[Galar Reigon: Wedgehurst]

A helicopter touched down on the grounds of Professor Magnolia's personal home as the motion of the helicopter touching down woke up everyone who was sleeping in the helicopter. Professor Magnolia was the first to wake up as she cracked her neck a little and adjusted her glasses before grabbing her cane, standing up, and opening the helicopter door to let everyone out.

"Come now everyone. Welcome to the Galar region."said Professor Magnolia as Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, Sid, and Adelaide woke up from their slumber and looked around.

As soon as Professor Magnolia's words processed through their brains did they quickly get out of the helicopter.

"Well I'm going to go stay at inn in Wedgehurst, and probably grab a much needed breakfast and some sleep before I go back to the States."said the pilot as he made his way into town to find a place that would provide him food and a comfortable bed.

"Wow... we're really here..."said Clyde who couldn't believe how clean the air around him was as this was the cleanest air he's ever breathed in.

"This place is so beautiful."said Sid who was glad that she came.

"I wonder where all the cute Pokemon are?"asked Adelaide, who couldn't wait to explore this place and meet all the Pokemon that lived here.

"I'm glad you made it in one piece."said a mysterious voice as everyone turned to see it was Leon.

'Whoa he's cool.' thought pretty much everyone who saw him for the first time.

"Leon I'm surprised you're here?"said Professor Magnolia wondering why the champion was back in his hometown when he should have been in Hammerlocke.

"Well... to be honest I got lost and ended up back here."said Leon as his poor sense of direction was as strong as ever.

"My goodness Leon what am I going to do with you."said Professor Magnolia before she noticed that everyone was waiting for her to introduce him to them.

"Who's he Professor Magnolia?"asked Clyde.

"Yeah he's handsome."said Adelaide as Sid rolled her eyes.

"I'd like you all to meet the champion of Galar, Leon."said Professor Magnolia as everyone was stunned as they didn't expect to meet the champion so soon.

"Hi Leon, I'm Ronnie Anne, so you're the guy Lame-o wants to beat."said Ronnie Anne as Leon looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"I mean Lincoln."she clarified as Leon made an expression that said he understood.

"Nice to meet you champ my name is Clyde and it's nice to meet you."

"My name is Roberto but everyone calls me Bobby and I'm Ronnie Anne's Big Brother."

"My name is Sid and it's an honor to meet you champ."

"I'm Adelaide."

"Nice to meet all of you. My name is Leon as as Professor Magnolia just said I'm the current champion of the Galar Pokemon League."said Leon as he quickly deduced that these must be Lincoln's friends.

"So how do you know Lincoln?"asked Clyde as he was curious.

"Lincoln has been a really good friend to my little brother Hop, they get along so well and even though they only met for the first time they became such good friends in a short amount of time."said Leon not noticing that Clyde did not seem happy by that news.

"Wow, you're so cool."said Bobby as he developed sort of a man crush on Leon.

"Thank you."said Leon as he tousled Bobby's hair.

Suddenly something landed near the helicopter as everyone saw a giant raven like bird with metal like feathers holding some kind of basket you would see in a hot air balloon near the helicopter.

"Oh good my ride is here."said Leon as the flying taxi that Chairman Rose sent for him has arrived.

"Wait! Before you go can you tell us about Lincoln?"asked Clyde as he was curious of how his best friend was doing.

"Yeah I'm curious as well."said Ronnie Anne as Leon looked at them and smiled.

"He's an amazing Pokemon trainer. He has only started out on his journey but I can already tell that he will be going places. Also as of yesterday he has already earned his second gym badge with his loyal Pokemon by his side. He, Raboot and the others will go to places higher than I would ever expect."said Leon as he waved everyone goodbye before he got into the flying taxi.

"Goodbye Leon, I hope we see each other again."said Adelaide with goo goo eyes.

"My little sister has always had a weakness for attractive men."said Sid, even though she knew she was not one to talk as she always got jelly knees when she was in the presence of her favorite K-pop band, Twelve Is Midnight.

"Wow that guy is so cool."said Bobby as Leon is the coolest guy he has ever met.

"Now if only he would fix his poor sense of direction."said Professor Magnolia who had disappeared into her house the whole time before she came back.

"Here are your Rotom phones, each has a programed Pokedex so that you will be able to identify any Pokemon that you meet."said Professor Magnolia is each rotom phone flew towards their respective trainer, the only exception being Adelaide as she wasn't an official trainer.

Adelaide just pouted at this before Professor Magnolia patted her on the head.

"Don't worry child you will get yours with time."said the Professor which made Adelaide feel much better.

"Wow! So COOL!"said Sid, who immediately fell in love with her Rotom phone as this was her first real encounter with a real Pokemon, even though it was in a phone.

"This phone is so hi tech."said Clyde as he was checking out all the features of his rotom phone.

"I can tell you and me are going to get along great."said Ronnie Anne as Bobby nervously approached his rotom phone.

"Um...hi..."said Bobby nervously at the phone flew around him and seemed to like him.

"It appears rotom really likes you."said Professor Magnolia as she pulled out a set of six Pokeballs for everyone except Adelaide, who only got a set of three.

"So this is how we are going to capture our Pokemon."said Clyde at the inspected one of the Pokeballs.

"Are these humane?"asked Sid with worry as Professor Magnolia giggled a little.

"Don't worry as they're designed to keep the Pokemon as comfortable as possible."explained the Professor, making the Chang sisters feel much better upon hearing that.

"So how exactly are we going to capture Pokemon without a Pokemon to help us out?"asked Ronnie Anne as Lincoln got his Scorbunny for free, so how are they going to get their Pokemon.

"Don't worry as I have a little helper that will help you out."said Professor Magnolia as her Chewtle walk towards everyone.

"Oh he is so cute."said Adelaide as she tried to hug Chewtle, but the snapping pokemon ignored her as he got out of the way.

"Don't take it personally child. Chewtle has always been like that."said Professor Magnolia as Adelaide got up from the floor.

"It's okay."said Adelaide, although in reality she wished she could become good friends with Chewtle.

"Okay let's start looking for our first Pokemon guys."said Bobby, hoping that things would work out for them.

So with Chewtle in tow, the four aspiring trainers and one companion started walking through Route two, trying to find any Pokemon that they would consider worthy of joining their team.

Clyde looked around, trying to find a Pokemon he would find appropriate for him when out of nowhere Adelaide tugged his shirt.

"What is it Adelaide?"asked Clyde as Adelaide pointed to a nearby bush as a bug like Pokemon stepped out of the bushes.

"That Pokemon reminds me of you."said Adelaide as everyone else got a good look at the bug like Pokemon and did notice the striking resemblance the Pokemon had to Clyde.

Clyde, although insulted couldn't deny that the Pokemon beared q striking resemblance to him as he pulled out his Pokedex to identify the pokémon in front of him.

Pokedex: Blipbug, the larva Pokemon. A constant collector of information, this Pokemon is very smart. Very strong is what it isn't.

"Chewtle I want you to battle that Pokemon so I can catch it."said Clyde as Chewtle took his position in front of Clyde.

"Are you sure about this McBride?"asked Ronnie Anne with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah I'm sure, as from what I heard from the Pokedex that Pokemon is exactly like me."said Clyde as Blipbug started things off by using struggle bug!

"Dodge and use tackle"ordered Clyde as Chewtle got out of the way and used tackle on the larva Pokemon, sending Blipbug flying towards a nearby rock.

"Go PokeBall!"said Clyde as he tossed the PokeBall he had with every ounce of strength he could muster.

Luckily for him, the PokeBall ended up striking Blipbug in the head before the larva Pokemon was absorbed into the PokeBall. The Pokeball fell to the floor as it began wiggling for a couple of seconds before it stopped wiggling in a click sound was heard, indicating that Blipbug was successfully captured.

"Yes! I just caught my first Pokemon all by myself and it's a Blipbug."said Clyde as he grabbed the PokeBall and held it as high as he could in the air, proud that he managed to accomplish something all on his own!

"Okay McBride take it down a notch. We still need to capture our Pokemon."said Ronnie Anne before she noticed that her brother was playing with a Pokemon not too far from where they were.

"Oh you're so cute and fluffy."said Bobby as he was currently hugging a Wooloo.

Ronnie Anne pulled out her Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of her.

Pokedex: Wooloo, the sheep Pokemon. If its fleece grows too long, Wooloo won't be able to move. Cloth made with the wool of this Pokemon is surprisingly strong.

"Okay I decided you're going to be my Pokemon."said Bobby as he pulled out his PokeBall and to his surprise Wooloo pressed the button on the PokeBall with its nose before it was willingly absorbed into the PokeBall and captured successfully a few seconds later.

"Yes, I just caught a Wooloo!"said Bobby who was so proud that he caught his first Pokemon although the others wondered if this really counted since the Pokemon willingly joined him.

"Okay two down, just three more to go before we can you go to the wild area."said Sid before she noticed that Ronnie Anne was looking at something in a nearby bush.

"Wow I like your look."said Ronnie Anne as she was currently observing a Galarian Zigzagoon, so she pulled out her Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of her.

Pokedex: Zigzagoon, the tiny raccoon Pokemon. Its relentlessness has it constantly running around. If it sees another Pokemon, it will purposely run into them to start a fight.

"Wow... I like the cut of your jib."said Ronnie Anne as Zigzagoon tried to use scratch attack, but Ronnie Anne stepped out of the way.

"Wow I really like the cut of your jib."said Ronnie Anne who decided to make this Zigzagoon her first Pokemon.

"Chewtle tackle!"ordered Ronnie Anne as Chewtle struck the tiny raccoon Pokemon with tackle, sending Zigzagoon back before I tried to use scratch attack on the snapping Pokemon.

"Dodge and use water gun."ordered Ronnie Anne as Chewtle jumped out of the way before blasting Zigzagoon with water gun!

Zigzagoon took damage but tried to use sand attack to blind Chewtle!

"Bite!"ordered Ronnie Anne as Chewtle bit Zigzagoon, causing the tiny raccoon Pokemon to stagger.

"Go PokeBall!"said Ronnie Anne as she talked the PokeBall at Zigzagoon!

The PokeBall bounced off the tiny raccoon Pokemon's head before it was absorbed into the PokeBall! The PokeBall fell to the floor as he began wiggling as everyone held their breath as this continued for a good minute before the ball stop wiggling in a click sound was heard, indicating that Zigzagoon was successfully captured!

"Yes! I just caught a Zigzagoon!"said Ronnie Anne has she held the pokeball as high as she could into the air.

"Wow, congratulations Ronnie Anne."said Sid as everyone congratulated Ronnie Anne for a job well done.

"What about you two?"asked Ronnie Anne as Sid and Adelaide still haven't caught their Pokemon.

"Well Adelaide and I have been looking around but none of these Pokemon seem to click with us. So if it's not too much trouble we think we'll wait until we get to the Wild Area before we start looking for our partners."said Sid as she didn't feel the same spark that the others did when they caught their Pokemon.

"I understand buddy."said Ronnie Anne as she was sure Sid and Adelaide would find their perfect first pokémon in the wild area.

"I see some of you have already managed to capture a Pokemon."said Professor Magnolia as she walked towards them with backpacks in their respective colors.

"Yeah. Wooloo is so cute and I'm sure if we work together we will become a powerful team."said Bobby as he looked at the PokeBall containing Wooloo.

"I'm sure you will young man. Well you really should start heading towards the train station as the next train to leave for the Wild Area will leave in a few minutes. Before you go take these backpacks with essential items you will need to survive the Wild Area and your journey in general. There is also trainer cards with a bit of money already in them to help you in case you need any living expenses."said Professor Magnolia she handed a backpack to each one of them.

"Thanks Professor Magnolia."said Ronnie Anne as she began running to the train station.

"Yeah thanks for everything."said Clyde as he ran after her.

"I better get going as I'm in charge of them."said Bobby who followed suit.

"We better get going as well as we want to see the Wild Area with our own eyes."said Sid I she grab Adelaide's hand

as the two of them began running after the others.

"Bye bye Professor, I hope we meet again."said Adelaide before everyone disappeared.

"What interesting children."was all Professor Magnolia said as she and Chewtle begin walking back to their house.

Meanwhile the group that came after Lincoln were running and laughing as they made their way to the train station, wondering what adventures awaited them.

Meanwhile outside Hulbury, a familiar white-haired young man was in the mines with Hop, having run into some familiar faces... those faces being Team Yell!

'How do I get myself into these situations...' thought Lincoln as he and Hop prepared for battle.

Clyde got Blipbug because of its striking resemblance to him as well as it's pokédex entry that reminded me of him.

Ronnie Anne got Zigzagoon because of her speedy nature and willingness to fight when necessary.

Bobby got Wooloo as he's the sensitive type and caring. So who better for him than the sheep Pokemon that everyone loves.
