[Isle of Armor: Master Dojo]
Lincoln and his Pokemon were stretching for their upcoming battle against Klara and her poison type Pokemon. Lincoln knew Klara I was going to battle harder than ever before and that she was going to use every trip up her sleeve in order to win and then sure that she would earn the secret armor of the Master Dojo!
Lincoln decided to go with Raboot, Squirtle, and Corvisquire for the Batlle against Klara and her poison type Pokemon!
Lincoln felt like Squirtle needed to prove himself to the others, as he was the new kid on the block and he needed to prove himself!
"Okay...the battlefield behind the dojo allows Pokemon to dynamax. I'm not sure what Klara is planning everyone. I don't know what she's planning, but I can tell that she is desperate to win in that what makes her even more difficult to defeat. But if we want to get the secret armor we need to win!"said Lincoln, as Raboot, Squirtle, and Corvisquire let out of battle cry!
"So, you think Klara is going to play fair."said Ronnie Anne, as she and the others join Lincoln.
"No. But I honestly don't intend to lose."said Lincoln, not expecting his rival to play fair but he was ready to face whatever she threw at him.
"It's weird. She doesn't seem like a bad girl but she really is desperate to become a gym leader."said Bobby, as Klara just appeared to be someone who was desperate.
"I looked into her."said Adelaide, getting everyone's attention as she continued."Apparently she's a popular idol who's been losing her popularity lately and I think becoming a gym leader is what she considers her last hope at saving her status as a celebrity."
"Wow...but she doesn't have to use underhanded tactics to do that."said Clyde, feeling like there was better ways for her Klara to achieve her dream.
"Maybe it's different for her."said Sid, as she can kind of understand where Klara was coming from.
She did a lot of desperate things in order to save the Great Lake City zoo that one time it was about to shut down, so she can kind of understand where Klara was coming from.
"Well either way I've come too far to give up on the secret armor now. I'm going to win this! With Raboot, Squirtle, and Corvisquire by my side I'm sure to win."said Lincoln, as these last several days he has trained really hard with his Pokemon after being defeated by Mustard so one sidingly.
"Good luck, Lincoln."said Clyde as he and his best friend fist bumped.
"Yeah, show Klara what people from Royal Woods are capable of!"said Bobby as he fist bumped Lincoln as well.
"Yeah, show her not to underestimate trainers from the United States!"said Ronnie Anne, who also fist bumped Lincoln.
"Watch my backs guys! I'm going to feel the flow!"said Lincoln, as he made his way to the battlefield.
Once he was there, he saw Klara was waiting for him!
"Are you ready, Lincoln."said Honey as she and Mustard approached him.
"Yeah! I'm ready!"said Lincoln with confidence!
"Then let's get this battle started."said Mustard, who somehow appeared on the other side of the battlefield in the few seconds Lincoln was talking to Honey.
'When did he get over there?!' wondered pretty much everyone from the United States!
Lincoln just shook off his confusion as he took his position on the battlefield.
"This will be a three on three Pokemon battle between Lincoln from Royal Woods, and Klara from Galar! Both sides will be allowed to substitute in the battle will be over when one side's Pokemon can no longer continue! With that out of the way let the battle begin!"said Mustard, Lincoln and Klara each pulled out a PokeBall to call out their first Pokemon!
"Corvisquire, I choose you!"yelled Lincoln as he called out the raven Pokemon for battle.
"Skorupi, take the stage!"yelled Klara as she called out a scorpion like Pokemon onto the battlefield.
Pokedex: Skorupi, the scorpion Pokemon. After burrowing into the sand, it waits patiently for its prey to come near. This Pokemon and Sizzlepede share comment descent
"So you're starting things off with a poison and bug type! Then that means I'm at a quite the advantage. But I'm not going to let that go to my head as you're still a poison type specialist."said Lincoln, knowing that Klara has been training as hard as he has for this day!
"Looks like losing the Master Mustard really humbled you. Let's see how you handle my cute little Pokemon's poison! Skorupi, use poison fang!"ordered Klara, causing the scorpion pokémon to launch itself at the raven Pokemon at full speed with its pincers covered in poison!
"Dodge it!"ordered Lincoln, causing Corvisquire to get out of the way in the nick of time!"Now use pluck!"
Corvisquire covered his beak with energy as he descended towards the scorpion Pokemon as it landed on the ground!
"Use ice fang!"ordered Klara, causing the scorpion Pokemon to turn around and cover its pincers with ice as it struck Corvisquire, causing super effective damage!
"I see you taught at a move to counter its weakness against flying type Pokemon!"said Lincoln, who just smiled."But it's still within range! Corvisquire, use pluck again!"ordered Lincoln, causing the raven Pokemon to quickly recover before it struck Skorupi with pluck, causing super effective damage!
"Skorupi!"exclaimed Klara, worried about her Pokemon as it got up from being attacked by pluck!
"Corvisquire, use drill peck!"ordered Lincoln, as energy formed around the Raven Pokemon's beak and began spinning like a drill!
"Ice fang!"ordered Klara, as both Pokemon charge towards each other at full speed as they struck each other both with super effective attacks!
This caused a double knockout as both Corvisquire and Skorupi fell onto the field!
"Both Corvisquire and Skorupi are unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle ends in a draw."declared Mustard as Lincoln and Klara recalled their Pokemon back to their PokeBalls.
"You did an excellent job out there and more than deserve a good rest."said Lincoln, as Corvisquire really proved to be valuable out there in knocking out the scorpion Pokemon.
"You we're excellent out there my dear Skorupi! Now leave everything to the rest of us so we can avenge you!"said Klara, as she in Lincoln pulled out their next PokeBalls..
"Weezing, come on out!"exclaimed Klara as she called out a Pokemon that look like it had two heads and that both of them are wearing top hats with steam coming out of them!
"Squirtle, I choose you!"exclaimed Lincoln as he cold out Squirtle for battle!
"Who's that Pokemon?"asked Clyde as he pulled out his Pokedex.
Pokedex: Weezing, the poison gas Pokemon. This Pokemon consumes particles that contaminate the air. Instead of leaving droppings, it expels clean air.
"Wow. My dads would love a Pokemon like that to be around me."said Clyde as he put away his Pokedex.
"Squirtle use water gun!"ordered Lincoln, causing Squirtle to release a stream of water from his mouth!
This struck the poison gas Pokemon and did damage as Weezing fell back!
"Weezing, use strange steam."ordered Klara as Weezing fired a blast of steam at Squirtle!
Squirtle was hit by the very tight move as it landed on a strange part of the battlefield and immediately became poisoned!
"Squirtle!"said Lincoln, noticing that the battlefield was filled with toxic spikes!
'So she was planning on cheating from the start! Corvisquire wasn't effective because he was flying! Klara, how desperate are you just to cheat?! Do you think Mustard will not notice?!' wondered Lincoln, not liking how unfair Klara was playing!
"Use strange steam!"ordered Klara, as Weezing once again fired another blast of steam at Squirtle!
"Squirtle!"yelled Squirtle as it wouldn't go down without a fight and began glowing!
"Squirtle is..."said Sid, unable to finish her sentence.
"Evolving..."finished Adelaide..
Soon Squirtle began to grow in size and shape as something that appeared to be ears formed on its head along with a longer tail!
"Wartortle!"exclaimed the new Pokemon were Squirtle once stood!
Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Wartortle, the turtle Pokemon. It is recognized as a symbol of longevity. If its shell has algae on it, that Wartortle is very old.
"Honey way right, you were close to evolving! Now let's show Klara your new power! Use water pulse!"said Lincoln as Wartortle avoided strange steam and fired an orb of water at Weezing!
The poison gas Pokemon was immediately struck with the water type move and it took quite a bit of damage!
"Now use iron tail!"ordered Lincoln, as Wartortle's tale became covered in metal like energy before it struck the poison gas Pokemon with the steel type move, knocking it out instantly as it was super effective!
"Weezing!"exclaimed Klara, as she couldn't believe that her Weezing was defeated so easily!
"Weezing is unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle belongs to Lincoln and Wartortle!"declared Mustard as Klara we called her Pokemon back to its Pokeball.
"You get an excellent job, now leave everything up to me and Slowbro!"said Klara as she pulled out one final poké ball.
"Slowbro, come on out!"exclaimed Klara as she called out a Pokemon that look like Slowbro only it was standing on two legs and appear to have some kind of shell on its right arm.
Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him m
Pokedex: Slowbro, the hermit crab Pokemon. A Shellder bite set off of chemical reaction with the spices in Slowbro's body, causing it to become a poison type!
"I see your Slowpoke evolved."said Lincoln, as Klara just smiled at him.
"Let's do this, Lincoln!"said Klara, as Lincoln could tell she was not holding it back anymore!
"Wartortle, use crunch!"ordered Lincoln, as the total Pokemon ran towards the hermit crab Pokemon at full speed with the dark type move!
Klara just smiled as she recalled the hermit crab Pokemon, avoiding crunch!
"What?!"said Lincoln before he saw what his rival was planning.
Klara focus dynamax energy into the Pokeball from her dynamax band and made her Pokeball big as she tossed it as hard as she could into the battlefield, causing Slowbro to dynamax!
"So that's how you want to play it!"said Lincoln as he recalled the turtle Pokemon back to its Pokeball and began to release dynamax energy from his dynamax band as well!
As soon as the PokeBall grew in size did Lincoln tossed it as hard as he could onto the battlefield, sending dynamax Wartortle onto the battlefield!
"Wartortle!"exclaimed dynamax Wartortle as it stared down dynamax Slowbro!
"Use max ooze!"ordered Klara, as geysers of poison began to strike Wartortle!
"Use max geyser!"ordered Lincoln, as Wartortle fired a powerful stream of water at Slowbro, causing it to rain because of max geyser's secondary effect!
Slowbro meanwhile staggered back from all the damage it took from max geyser!
"Now finish this battle with max darkness!"ordered Lincoln, as Wartortle fired two streams of dark energy at the hermit crab Pokemon, causing super effective damage as it was struck with powerful dark energy!
Slowbro began to shrink in size before it was revealed to have been knocked out!
"Slowbro!"yelled Klara, as she couldn't believe she lost!
"Slowbro is unable to battle! Meaning the victory for the secret armor belongs to Lincoln and Wartortle!"declared Mustard, as Klara recalled Slowbro back to its Pokeball.
"You did an amazing job. It's not your fault that we lost. It's mine..."said Klara as she and Lincoln approached Master Mustard.
"Well, I guess you're going to tell the master what I did."said Klara, referring to her cheating.
"I won't!"said Lincoln, shocking Klara.
"But why?!"asked Klara, wondering why Lincoln was showing her mercy.
"Because even though you cheated I know you're not a bad person. Your just desperate."said Lincoln, who couldn't judge Klara as he did similar things back in Royal Woods, so he could kind of see where she was coming from.
"I see Lincoln can show mercy even to those who cheated. That further proves he is worthy of receiving the secret armor of the master dojo. As for you Klara... I understand what you did and I'm not upset. But you do need to be punished."said Mustard as he approached the two of them.
"I understand..."said Klara, just happy she wasn't getting kicked out of the dojo.
"You will take care of all the Dojo's Pokemon by yourself for a month as punishment. It's clear that your regretful of your actions and hopefully this punishment will make sure you don't do this again in the future."said Mustard, as Klara thanked him for his mercy while crying tears of joy.
"Now, Lincoln. I believe it's time you come with me to receive the secret armor!"said Mustard as he motioned for Lincoln to follow him.
"Coming!"said Lincoln, high-fiving everyone for his victory as he followed the master back into the dojo.
"Now let me introduce you to your reward."said Mustard as he pulled out a Pokeball and released the Pokemon that was inside!
Soon a bear cub like Pokemon that look like it was wearing a white bandana on its head appeared from out of the Pokeball and looked around before it ran off as soon as it saw Lincoln!
"Lincoln, meet the Pokemon that is the secret armor of the master dojo, Kubfu!"exclaimed Mustard, as Kubfu was hiding behind his leg.
"Wow...so cute..."said Lincoln as everyone walked into the dojo and saw Kubfu!
"Cute!"exclaimed pretty much everyone upon seeing Kubfu.
"This Kubfu. He's a bit skittish but I know it has a lot of potential to become a super strong Pokemon. All he needs is the right trainer to show him how it's done."said Mustard as Kubfu began to show off his martial arts skills.
He kicked the air, then punched into Mustard's hands as he dove into a nearby pillar, and kicked it with force! As Lincoln watched on he saw that the scared little Pokemon carefully approached him as Lincoln reached out his hand.
"It's nice to meet you, Kubfu. I have the feeling you and me are going to be the best of friends!"said Lincoln, as Kubfu looked at him nervously before holding Lincoln's hand.
"Awww!"said Sid and Adelaide at the same time, as what they saw before them was extremely cute!
"Kubfu!"said Kubfu as he jumped into Lincoln's arms, accepting Lincoln as his trainer.
"Well, now. Let's get to training so that you can be strong like Master Mustard knows you'll be in the very near future!"
