A/N: kind of a filler but we love fluffy haleb goodness
You're cute when you snore
Hanna woke up the next day after a long night of hanging out with her mom. Even though she had fun and missed spending quality time with her mom, the things she said about Caleb still annoyed her.
She looked over and almost panicked. It was 8:30, she was late for school. She stood up before she realized that it was Saturday.
Rolling her eyes she walked to her bathroom and brushed her teeth.
When she finished she went downstairs and to the kitchen. She peeked out the curtain and saw her mom's car was gone.
Furrowing her eyebrows she stepped away from the window and went to the kitchen. On the kitchen island, she saw a note.
"I'll be home on Tuesday. They switched the conference meetings. I left money on the table. Love you!
-xoxo Ashley"
Hanna nodded now putting the pieces together.
Since she was gone Caleb didn't need to hide anymore.
"Caleb!" She yelled as she walked to the basement door.
Caleb opened the door fully dressed walking out.
"How long have you been waiting for me?" Hanna asked inwardly feeling bad. She didn't want him waiting too long.
"Since 8. Force of habit." He shrugged before sitting down.
"We'll you won't need to wait for me any more till Tuesday. My mom is out for conferences so we'll have the house to ourselves." Hanna said looking in the fridge.
"Whatcha looking for?" Caleb asked curiously.
"Breakfast for you. I know you're probably hungry. Do you want eggs? Cereal? waffles? Bacon? All the above?" Hanna asked standing up and turning around to face him.
Caleb looked surprised. "Um... all of it. Except for cereal."
Hanna started to make the basic breakfast meal as they started talking.
"So I'm guessing when we tell your mom that we're dating she's not gonna be very happy is she?" Caleb asked from behind her.
Hanna shook her head. "She is. She just has to get to know you first. She doesn't know you." She said putting bacon on the pan.
"So are we never going to tell her that I lived in her basement for like a week."
"Absolutely not. This will stay between us. " Hanna said now putting eggs on the pan.
She heard Caleb stand up but she continued cooking.
Then she felt his arms wrapped around her waist as she cooked.
Hanna couldn't help the smile that bloomed on her face. "So uh how do you like your eggs?"
"Surprise me." He said grabbing the spatula and handing it to her.
She bit her lip and continued to make the food.
"You know you smell pretty good," Caleb said. His breath teased the crook of her neck.
"Caleb. If you keep doing that you're gonna distract me and I'm gonna burn your food." She giggled off the sudden lust and butterflies she was feeling.
"So what's the plan today chef?" Caleb asked.
Hanna shrugged. "I don't know. There's not really much we can do. Rosewood is a small place."
"So we stay inside?" Caleb asked.
"Yes, we stay inside. Besides they're probably gonna either invite us to a hangout or go to a party or something." Hanna said knowingly.
Hanna took his food off the oven and put it on a plate. Caleb had to let go of her so she could get utensils for him to eat with.
She then grabbed the bacon and waffles. The bacon was put in the air fryer and the waffles went into the toaster.
"That looks like food for only one person?" Caleb questioned.
"It is," Hanna said sitting down.
"Um, what about you?"
Hanna snorted "I don't eat breakfast. Not good for the figure."
Caleb raised an eyebrow. "You're eating breakfast with me." He declared.
"Caleb!" She exaggeratedly groaned his name. Caleb wasn't hearing any of it.
"Nope. The foods done anyway." Caleb said getting up before Hanna could and putting the food on his plate. He then sat it in the middle of them.
Hanna huffed and grabbed a piece of bacon. "You won't like me when I'm fat."
"I'm sure one small breakfast won't make you gain weight." He smirked.
Later on, Hanna and Caleb were in her room. She was watching him do whatever techno thing on his laptop.
"How long have you had this laptop?" Hanna asked curiously.
"Mmm about 5 years. It was a gift from my uncle." Caleb replied.
"That's cool. My uncle every year gives me sweaty hugs and says how I lost or gained weight." Hanna joked.
"At least he's consistent."
Hanna didn't know that what he said had a double meaning to it.
"Oh yeah. There's more sweat every year." She chuckled looking at his laptop.
"Sounds gross." He said amused.
"Oh yeah." She laughed.
She watches him use his laptop. She noticed a file with the word friends and memories.
"What's in there?" She asked pointing to the file.
Caleb looked to where she was talking about and smiled. "That's just pictures of the actual good times I had in Ravenswood before I moved here." He explained.
"Can I see them?" Hanna asked.
He nodded and opened the file. What seemed like Hundreds of pictures of Caleb, three guys, and a girl filled his screen.
"Are those your friends?"
"Yeah that's Andy, Kyle, Kaiden then on the far left that's Miranda." Caleb listed off.
The last name rang a bell in the back of her mind.
Miranda was his ex. She looked at her and she was beautiful.
"She's really pretty." Hanna acknowledged.
"I thought she was too."
She looked at him confused. "Thought?"
"Yeah. I thought she was really pretty till I saw you. Now she's just pretty." He smiled.
Hanna blushed.
"But I haven't seen them in 2 months. I've been texting them since a few weeks ago but I've been so busy until I got here. I started texting them again." Caleb said.
Hanna nodded as she looked over at his pictures. As she saw the fun he looked like he had, she smiled. The pictures of him and his ex-girlfriend didn't bother her as she thought it would. It must've been because of the compliment he gave her.
Soon she showed him pictures of all of her friends.
"You know them but you don't know her. She goes to a different school. That's Alison."
"Was she close with you all?"
Hanna rolled her eyes. "She was the leader until like a year ago. When she moved. We realized how much we did to impress her while she was here. I did at least." Hanna said.
————————————————————————
"What do you mean?" Caleb asked furrowing his eyebrows in curiosity. He thought Hanna was strong-willed and confident.
"Well... your probably gonna think I'm a total witch but I wasn't the kindest person when she was around. You can ask Lucas or mona. Actually don't ask mona. But people used to get bullied by Alison and I just stood there. Sometimes I stood up but I always chickened out. However, I never joined in on it. But I also dealt with a lot of um..." Hanna explained.
Caleb could tell from her body language that she was struggling to get the words out.
"It's okay if you wanna leave it there." He said just so she knew she wasn't obligated to tell him everything.
"No no. I was just trying to find the words. But I dealt with a lot of issues. Insecurities and home problems and such and Alison wasn't the best influence on me nor was she the best person. I mean it was like 10% of her was a kind friend. But the rest of the 90% was a cold-hearted manipulative bitch."
"Did all of you feel like this?" Caleb asked shocked referring to her friends. From what Hanna said she was horrible. He was surprised that she was still friends with her.
"Yup and you're probably thinking why are you still friends with her? Well, a month after she moved she ghosted us. And we got used to her not being around. And we all got closer. However, two months later Alison called Emily and she came to visit. she was a completely different person. I don't know what happened to her when she was out there. She's way more nicer now. Like 85% nice and the rest is her old self." Hanna shrugged.
Caleb nodded. As long as she changed. He would definitely be careful around her though.
Hanna chuckled. "I'm not proud of what I was or what I did back then. But I guess I'm trying to right my wrongs and move on."
Caleb couldn't help but smile at that. When he first saw her, he thought she was gorgeous but thought she was stuck up, super rude. But he was wrong once he was around her and talked to her, which pleasantly surprised him.
He grabbed her warm dainty hand. She looked down at his hand for a moment before smiling.
"You're doing great so far. Keep up the good work." He complimented her genuinely meaning every word.
After a few hours of talking both of them got a text from their friends asking if they wanted to go to the movies.
"Do you wanna go?" Caleb asked.
"Not really. Do you?" Hanna said laying in her bed.
Caleb didn't want to admit that he wanted to stay cause he wanted to talk to Hanna more, so he just agreed.
After they ordered a pizza and continued talking.
"So are you excited about our trip? Spencer sent me a link to the place she thinks we're gonna stay at. it's really nice. But I'm hoping we get one with a pool and hot tub." Hanna said looking at the text on her phone.
"I haven't been in a pool since like I was 7." Caleb laughed.
Hanna looked up and smiled. "The last time I was in the pool was when the last time Alison was here. But I didn't really like going swimming back then."
"Why not? Not a good swimmer? I can teach you?" Caleb offered with a smile.
Hanna chuckled. "It's not that I'm not a good swimmer. I'm actually a decent one. It's just that I was... different back then."
Caleb looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"
He noticed her hesitate for a second.
"It's okay. You don't have to tell me if you aren't-" Caleb tried.
"No, it's just weird talking about it out loud. Especially with someone who doesn't know about it already."
Caleb got more confused than before.
"I use to be bigger in size. I was called hefty Hanna cause of it. so I didn't feel comfortable with showing my body or going to the pool." Hanna explained.
Now it made sense. One of the insecurities she talked about.
"I'm sorry Hanna. If I was there I wouldn't have called you that or let them." Caleb said honestly. It made him really mad that they made her feel like that.
Hanna laughed. "Thanks, it means a lot. But those days are long gone I'm way different now."
Caleb smiled.
And Hanna smiled back.
Both of them had things they wanted to say.
But mainly something they wanted to do. Thoughts of kissing each other flooded through their minds.
But before they could speak or do anything them a knock on the door was heard.
That damn pizza guy always came at the wrong time.
Hanna cleared her throat before standing up.
"Should I get the drinks?" Caleb asked also standing up.
"Yeah, I'll get the pizza." She said heading downstairs. Caleb followed as well before going into the kitchen.
When Hanna returned Caleb had juice in the cups all ready.
" I brought two this time just so this time we don't have leftovers," Hanna said putting the pizza on the island.
Caleb smirked. " pepperoni?"
"What? It's good. Even though I said I wasn't gonna eat it for a while. When I saw it on the menu I couldn't resist."
"I'm definitely not complaining," Caleb said before grabbing a slice.
Hanna sat down next to him and grabbed a slice as well.
" so what should we do tomorrow?" He asked. He secretly was hoping he would be able to talk to her more. He was getting way too attached for his liking. But he couldn't help it. She was addicting and felt like a fresh breath of air. He hasn't met someone like this ever.
"Well, they're probably gonna do something tomorrow. But if not we can figure out something?"
Caleb nodded. "I think I heard Toby talking about maybe hanging out tomorrow. But I don't know if it's just us or everyone."
"I'm surprised they haven't gone to one of their cabins. They've literally been like dogs." Hanna rolled her eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" Caleb asked eating his pizza.
"I mean Spencer and Toby. they've literally make sex eyes all the time. The sexual tension is so thick you can see it and the color is red." Hanna explained snorting in an unladylike manner.
Caleb smirked. "You know how teenagers are. Once they get some, they want some all the time. Some more than others."
Hanna shrugged. "Well, I guess."
"What do you mean I guess?"
"I just wonder how exactly true that is," Hanna said drinking out her cup.
"You've never had sex?" Caleb asked
Caleb couldn't tell if she's had sex before. It looked like she had but he couldn't really per se figure out if she had. He didn't know the full details of her last relationship but she didn't seem like the type to do random hookups.
"No. I haven't. I haven't even really kissed a lot so yeah." She answered slightly embarrassed.
Again Caleb was confused but was surprised. Sean didn't kiss her a lot? If it was him he would kiss her all the time. He couldn't help but think about when they both got more comfortable in their relationship.
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about han. It's okay to not be as experienced. I'm definitely not gonna judge you." Caleb replied giving her a calming smile.
He didn't miss the smile that appeared on her face

Hanna woke up the next day. She yawned about to roll over but realize there was a body next to her. She froze before remembering what happened last night.
After they ate pizza they laid in bed and watched scary movies to sleep.
She smiled and sat up. Hanna looked over and saw Caleb still sleeping. She reached down and gently caressed his face before pressing a soft kiss on his forehead.
She stood up and stretched while looking at the time. 9:36 am.
Walking over to her phone the blonde checked it to see texts from the group chat.
Aria: hey hang out today??
Emily: sure who's all coming
Hanna: I'm down.
Spencer: I am too. We can go to my cabin? Throw our own party?
Hanna: sounds fun
Aria: let's bring the boys.
Emily: is it okay if I bring mya?
Hanna: bring her she's cool.
Hanna briefly heard him sit up in bed.
Getting off her phone she saw a messy-haired Caleb.
She laughed. "You look cute when you first wake up."
"And you're cute when you're scared." Caleb retorted.
Hanna rolled her eyes. "Hey so later on tonight we're gonna go to Spencer's cabin for a party. Just the friend group and mya."
"Okay sounds fun. You know, you're also cute when you snore,"
Hanna's eyes opened wide clearly petrified. "What?!"
Caleb snorted and laughed. "I'm just kidding."
She shot him a glare before grabbing a towel and walking to the bathroom to take a shower.
