"Man, it's good to be back in Galar!"exclaimed Lincoln at the top of his lungs as he finally made it back to the Galar Region, or more specifically the wild area as that's where he was currently at.

"I'm glad that that flying taxi decided to drop me off here so I could make my way to Stow-on-Side as that's where the next gym was.

There was Hammerlocke, but Lincoln knew he couldn't challenge the gym Raihan for a gym battle until he had seven other gym badges in his position. And currently he only has three.

"You can do this, Lincoln. You and your Pokemon trained hard on the Isle of Armor in order to become strong enough to take on Bea and all the other gym leaders that make up the second half of the gym challenge! Your goal is to take on Leon and you need to get all eight gym badges in order for that to happen!"said Lincoln, knowing that he had barely taken the first few steps it took to reach the summit that was Leon.

"Help!"shouted too familiar sounding voices.

Lincoln turned and saw Carl and Carlota being chased by a Bewear! Lincoln recognize the strong arm Pokemon as the same Pokemon that chased him around the first time he made it to the Wild Area

"Urshifu, use brick break!"ordered Lincoln as he called out the Kung Fu pokemon for battle.

"Urshi!"exclaimed the Kung Fu Pokemon as it struck the strong arm Pokemon with brick break, causing super effective damage as Bewear was forced back!

The strong arm Pokemon held itself before Urshifu scared it away with a glare!

"Good job, Urshifu. Now return."said Lincoln as he recalled the Kung Fu Pokemon back to his Pokeball.

"Are you two okay?"asked Lincoln as he approached Carl and Carlota.

"Yeah, we just need to catch our breath."said Carlota as currently she and her little brother were catching their breaths.

"Thanks for the same Lincoln."said Carl as he caught his breath.

"It's good to see you again... Where's Ronnie Anne?"asked Carlota, noticing that her little cousin wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"Oh, they're off on an island close to Galar training."said Lincoln, knowing by now Master Mustard was training them hard in order to catch up to his level.

"Well that's a relief. I am really glad Ronnie and didn't see me running away from that plush toy like a scared little baby."said Carl, knowing that Ronnie Anne would never let him live it down.

"So... you guys decided to become Pokemon trainers as well?"inquired Lincoln, as there was no other way they could have arrived in Galar otherwise.

"Yeah, but that mean old lady didn't make it easy."said Carl, who Lincoln noticed was noticeably shaken.

"You mean Professor Magnolia? Why would you call her a mean old lady?"asked Lincoln, as Professor Magnolia was the sweetest old lady person he knew, next to Myrtle.

"Carl tried to act all hot in front of her and let's just say it didn't go well for him."said Carlota, remembering what happened that day that Carl had the conversation with Professor Magnolia.

[Flashback]

"And I want time defeated these gang of Street cats with nothing but these muscles. So you better believe I can become a Pokemon trainer lady."said Carl as he was boasting about himself, before noticing that Professor Magnolia was staring at him.

And for some reason that stare was making Carl uncomfortable as he felt like she was looking into his soul as he began to shrink down in size and feel like he was a little ant beneath her foot.

"What is that stare?"asked Carl who was clearly intimidated by the stare he was getting.

"Its call the hard stare. I use it when I have to deal with a young man who has so clearly forgotten his manners."said Professor Magnolia, as Carl quickly bowed his head.

"I'm sorry for being so rude ma'am."said Carl, making Professor Magnolia smile.

"Now that is more appropriate."said Professor Magnolia, not appreciating someone asking a huge favor acting like they are the ones doing the favor for you.

[Flashback End]

"It felt like she was staring into my soul..."said Carl, as he could still remember that stare in it really intimidated him to this day.

"So, I'm assuming you two have Pokemon."said Lincoln, as there was no way they could have wandered into the Wild Area without a Pokemon to protect them.

"Yeah, I'll show you our Pokemon."said Carl as he and Carlota pulled out some pokeballs and tossed them.

Two Pokemon soon appeared in front of Lincoln and Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.

Pokedex: Purrloin, the devious Pokemon. It steals from people just to amuse itself using their frustration. A rivalry exists between this Pokemon and Nickit.

Pokedex: Grubbin, the larva Pokemon. It's natural enemies, like Rookidee may flee rather than risk getting caught in its large mandibles that can snap thick tree branches.

"Wow, nice job getting some potential strong Pokemon as starters."said Lincoln, as both Carl and Carlos I did a good job getting skilled Pokemon for their first Pokemon

"Yeah, once I saw this cute face I couldn't resist."said Carlota and she was petting the devious Pokemon's face.

"Yeah, and this larva Pokemon was so cool looking I couldn't resist either "said Carl as he was hugging The larva Pokemon.

"Well, if you guys want to meet up with your cousins I suggest you have this."said Lincoln as he handed them two passes to the Isle of Armor.

"What's this?"asked Carlota as she inspected the ticket.

"That is a ticket to the Isle of armor. That is the only thing that will get you to the place where your cousin's Bobby and Ronnie Anne are currently at. They are training there everyday and that place is full of Pokemon you won't find anywhere else in all of Galar."said Lincoln, as both of the Casagrande siblings inspected the tickets.

"Really?! Well then let's go there as fast as we can sis!"said Carl as he began pulling Carlota to Hammerlocke as fast as his little legs would take her.

"Carl, slow down!"said Carlota, but her demands fell on deaf ears as Carl pulled her into the city.

"Well, it looks like you finally returned."said Bede as he appeared behind Lincoln, causing Lincoln to glare at the arrogant punk.

"What are you doing here, Bede?"asked Lincoln, wondering what the psychic type trainer wanted.

"I just finished warming up my Pokemon for the upcoming gym battle I will have against Bea. I wouldn't be expecting your friend Hop anytime soon. He probably can't show his face in front of the champion right now after he was defeated so easily by me and my Pokemon."said Bede with a cocky smile.

"You jerk!"said Lincoln, as Hop was his friend and he wouldn't let his friend be insulted like this.

"If you want to do anything about it I suggest you wait as I'm busy and I don't have time for losers like you."said Bede as he walked past Lincoln but not before purposely nudging him

"I can tell who's the bigger jerk, that guy or Chandler."said Lincoln, wondering if his friend was okay as Hop probably didn't take the loss well.

"Ha... I got to find Hop. I'm guessing he's somewhere in Hammerlocke."said Lincoln as he made it to the front of the city with a dragon-shaped gate.

"Allow me to inspect your badges."said a League official.

Lincoln just let out a sigh as he handed his badges over to the League official so he could inspect them.

"I see you have the grass badge, water badge, and...the fire badge. Meaning you defeated Kabu. You may pass and good luck on the rest of your gym challenge."said The League official as he handed Lincoln back his badges.

"Hop, I hope you're okay."said Lincoln as he stepped through the gates that would take him Hammerlocke.
