As Lincoln made his way into Stow-on-Side, his mind was wondering elsewhere as he wonder what he was going to do about Hop.
It was no secret that Lincoln was worried about his friend as it seems his loss to Bede really affected the young man and his belief in himself and his Pokemon. Lincoln knew he had to do something about it, otherwise Hop would be wasting all that potential talent he had himself with his own strength.
Who cares if some jerk called the champion weak! Everyone knows it's not true, so Hop so just get his head back on straight and work on himself rather than trying to defend the champions name!
"Your mind seems to be wondering elsewhere."said someone, getting Lincoln's attention.
"Who?"said Lincoln, before turning around and seeing Opal, the gym leader of the Ballonlea city gym.
"Ms Opal!"said Lincoln, wondering why the gym leader was so far away from home.
"It seems that you're worried about your friend. But I believe you have more important matters to attend to first as Bea is a busy girl and she doesn't have all day."said Opal as she was sipping a cup of tea.
"My gym challenge!"said Lincoln, as he was so busy being worried about his friend he completely forgot that he scheduled a gym challenge with the busy gym leader in less than a few minutes.
"I better hurry!"said Lincoln as he ran to the Stow-on-Side stadium as fast as he could!
"Young people these days shouldn't have to worry about so much. They should be more preoccupied to enjoying their young lives."said Opal, taking another sip from her cup of tea.
Lincoln meanwhile ran into the Stow-on-Side stadium and quickly made his way over to where he needed to sign up for the challenge.
"Lincoln Loud, gym Challenger 126, here to challenge Bea for the fighting badge."said Lincoln, hoping he made it quite on time.
"Congratulations, Challenger 126. You managed to make it in the nick of time. Head to the changing room and change into your gym challenge or uniform and we shall prepare the gym challenge for you."said The League official as Lincoln let out a sigh of relief.
"Phew..."said Lincoln as he made his way to change your room to change it to his Challenger uniform.
A few minutes later Lincoln had completely changed into his Challenger 126 uniform and made his way over to where the gym challenge was supposed to initiate.
"Woah!"said Lincoln as soon as he saw what his gym challenge would be, which consisted of what was basically a giant roller coaster like ride!
"Your challenges to ride through these hurdles and make it all the way to the end."said Dan, as Lincoln excitingly headed to the first ride and quickly got on.
"Safety first."said Lincoln as he strapped on his seat belt.
"Yyyyeaahhhhhh!"shouted linking to the top of his lungs as soon as the challenge started and he was sent for a ride!
"I got to move her this thing down as it's like a maze! With punchers that will punch you if you launch wrong."said Lincoln as he started maneuvering the wheel like device.
"Just a little to the left."said Lincoln, managing to make it through the smallest of gaps.
"Okay, I managed to get through this hurdle... is there a giant punching glove?!"asked Lincoln as he was launched like a boomerang as soon as the will he was on was hit by the glove!
"Woooooaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!"shouted Lincoln at the top of his lungs as he was launched from punching glove to punching glove in a massive ride of pinball!
Finally Lincoln managed to get off the giant pinball machine and looked around, trying his best to maintain his balance and not throw up as he made his way up the stairs.
"Well that was excruciating."said Lincoln, trying his best not to vomit as he made his way up the steps.
"Congratulations, Challenger Lincoln loud! You have managed to pass the gym challenge and now may face Bea, the Stow-on-Side gym leader."said the announcer, just as the doors open.
"Yeahhh!"said Lincoln, almost throwing up when he let out that yeah but managed to keep it together.
"Just give me a few minutes to regain my balance."said Lincoln as he stepped through the doors.

A couple minutes later Lincoln managed to regain his composure and headed to the field, just as the gym leader Bea made her way onto the field as well.
'Wow, she is pretty...but based on her expressions she's the over serious type.' thought Lincoln has both trainers took their positions on the field.
"I apologize for having to make you wait so long for your gym challenge, Challenger 126. But let's see how a Pokemon trainer endorsed by the champion fairs against the fighting type prodigy."said Bea, as the referee took his position on the field.
"This will be a four on four Pokemon battle between Lincoln the Challenger and Bea, the Stow-on-Side gym leader. The battle will be over when one side's Pokemon are unable to battle. Additionally, only the Challenger will be allowed to substitute. With the rules out of the way, trainers bring out your first Pokemon and let the battle begin!"declared the referee as both Lincoln and Bea called out their first Pokemon.
"Raboot, I choose you!"shouted Lincoln as he called out the rabbit Pokemon.
"Hitmontop, stand by for battle!"declared Bea has she called out a Pokemon that Lincoln quickly pulled out his Pokedex to identify.
Pokemon:Hitmontop, the handstand Pokemon. It launches kicks while spinning. If it spins at high speed, it may bore it's way into the ground.
"So he fights while spinning."said Lincoln, as Hitmontop look like he was especially strong.
"The Challenger gets the first move!"said Bea, as Hitmontop look like he was ready for anything the rabbit Pokemon might throw at him.
"Raboot, use flame charge!"ordered Lincoln as the rabbit Pokemon quickly charged towards the handstand pokémon, covered in flames!
"Use triple kick!"ordered Bea, as Hitmontop quickly began spinning like a top and launched three kicks with his legs and tail at the rabbit Pokemon!
Both flame charge and triple kick struck one another and both Pokemon were pushed back with their respective attacks, back to their trainer side's of the field!
"Use ember!"ordered Lincoln, deciding to go from up close and personal to distance.
"Use quick attack!"ordered Bea, causing the handstand Pokemon surround himself with white light before striking the rabbit Pokemon with quick attack!
"Raboot!"exclaimed Lincoln.
"Use triple kick!"ordered Bea, causing Hitmontop to begin spinning is he struck the rabbit Pokemon with three separate strikes!
"Use quick attack!"ordered Lincoln, causing Raboot to quickly recover and strike Hitmontop with quick attack!
"Use double kick!"ordered Lincoln, as Raboot quickly jumped into the air before striking the handstand pokémon with two separate kicks!
"Counter!"ordered Bea, causing Hitmontop to be surrounded with energy before striking Raboot with counter, causing twice the damage the handstand Pokemon took!
"Raboot! Use ember!"ordered Lincoln as robots managed to fire off one last blast of flame from his mouth, striking the handstand Pokemon!
Both pokémon quickly felt the floor as it was revealed that they had been knocked out by their respective attacks!
"Both Raboot and Hitmontop are unable to battle! Meaning that this part of the battle ends in a draw!"declared the referee as both Lincoln and Bea recalled their Pokemon.
"You did an excellent job out there. You more than deserve a good rest for what you have done."said Lincoln as he put the pokeball away.
"You did a remarkable job out there. Now take a nice long rest."said Bea as she put the pokeball away.
"Toxel! I choose you!"declared Lincoln as he called out the baby Pokemon onto the field.
"Sirfetch'd, stand by for battle!"declared Bea as she called out a Pokemon that looked a lot like a Pokemon Lincoln had.
"Who's that Pokemon?"asked Lincoln as he pulled out his Pokedex.
Pokedex: Sirfetch'd, the wild duck Pokemon in the evolved form of galarian Farfetch'd. Only Farfetch'd that have survived many battles can achieve this evolution. When this Pokemon's leek withers, it will retire from combat.
"So that's what Farfetch'd will evolve into one day."said Lincoln, as he looked at the wild duck Pokemon with amazement.
"Use brutal swing, Sirfetch'd!"ordered Bea, as the wild duck pokémon began charging at the baby Pokemon!
"Use nuzzle!"ordered Lincoln as the baby Pokemon began rubbing its cheeks to generate electricity.
"Dodge it!"ordered Bea, making Sirfetch'd quickly jump out of the way to avoid getting struck with nuzzle!
"Use brutal swing!"ordered Bea, making the wild duck pokémon swing its leek sword, striking the baby Pokemon with great force!
"Tox!"declared the baby Pokemon as it was sent back.
"Use sword dance!"ordered Bea, causing Sirfetch'd to increase his attack power by summoning imaginary swords around his body to increase his attack power!
"Use nuzzle!"ordered Lincoln, causing the baby Pokemon to once again rub his cheeks together, generating electricity as he ran towards the wild duck pokémon!
"Use brick break!"ordered Bea, with Sirfetch'd striking the baby Pokemon with a powerful brick brake.
"Toxel!"exclaimed Lincoln as the baby pokémon fell to the floor, revealed to have been knocked out.
"Toxel is unable to battle. Meaning that this part of the battle belongs to Bea and Sirfetch'd!"declared the referee as Lincoln recalled the baby Pokemon back to its pokeball.
"You managed to do an awesome job out there and more than deserve a good rest."said Lincoln, realizing he was going to call out one of his secret weapons early.
"Urshifu, I choose you!"said Lincoln as he called out the Kung Fu Pokemon!
"An Urshifu? You must have gone to the Isle of Armor recently! Let's see if that Pokemon lives up to its reputation!"said Bea with a serious smile.
"Use brick break!"ordered both trainers, causing their respective Pokemon to strike each other with brick break!
"Use headbutt!"ordered Lincoln, causing Urshifu to grab the wild duck Pokemon before striking Sirfetch'd with headbutt, causing damage.
"Use brutal swing!"ordered Bea!
"Use wicked blow!"ordered Lincoln, causing the Kung Fu pokémon to surround himself with dark energy before charging at the wild Pokemon and striking him with a darken fist, causing critical damage as the wild Pokemon was sent flying into a nearby wall.
"Sirfetch'd!"said Bea, as it was revealed that the wild duck pokémon had been knocked out.
"Sirfetch'd is unable to battle! Meaning but this part of the match belongs to Lincoln and Urshifu!"declared the referee, just at the gym leader we called her Pokemon.
"You did an amazing job out there and more than is there a good rest."said Bea, before putting the pokeball away and taking out another one.
"Pangoro, stand by for battle!"declared the gym leader as she brought out a panda like Pokemon out on the battlefield.
Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Pangoro, the daunting Pokemon. This Pokemon is quick to anger. It has no problem using its prodigious strength to get its way. It lives for battle against Obstagoon.
"So it's a fighting / dark type like Urshifu."said Lincoln, as he decided to keep the Kung Fu pokémon on the battlefield.
"Use bullet punch!"ordered Bea, as the dancing Pokemon surrounded it's fast with energy before charging at the Kung Fu pokémon and striking him with fast moving punches!
"Urshi!"declared the Kung Fu pokémon.
"Use brick break!"ordered Lincoln, causing the Kung Fu Pokemon to quickly regain focus before striking the daunting Pokemon with brick break!
"Pan!"said Pangoro, who felt that strike.
"Use brick break!"ordered Bea, causing the daunting Pokemon to charge at Urshifu, before striking him with the super effective brick break!
"Urshi!"said the Kung Fu pokémon as it felt bad.
"Use wicked blow!"ordered Lincoln, causing Urshifu to surround himself with dark energy.
"Use hammer arm!"ordered Bea!
Both Urshifu and Pangoro charged at one another and struck each other with their respective attacks, creating a mini explosion that surrounded the field with dust!
Both Lincoln and Bea began coughing as they tried to see who had come out on top as it was revealed that both Pokemon had been knocked out as soon as the dust settled!
"Both Urshifu and Pangoro are unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle also ends in a draw!"declared the referee as both trainers recall their Pokemon.
"You did an amazing job out there, Urshifu. Now leave everything to the rest of us."said Lincoln as he put the pokeball away.
"You were amazing out there and managed to take down Urshifu. Well don, Pangoro."said Bea, putting away the pokeball at the same time.
"I must say I'm impressed as it's been awhile since someone has pushed me this far."
"What can I say. My Pokemon and I did a lot of training on the Isle of armor so we could take on the rest of the gym challenge!"said Lincoln with a confident smile.
"Hmm... now let's see how you stand up against my partner. Machamp, stand by for battle!"said Bea as she called down a four armed Pokemon onto the battlefield.
"Who's that Pokemon."said Lincoln as he pulled out his Pokedex.
Pokedex: Machamp, the super power Pokemon. It quickly swings its four arms to rock its opponent with ceaseless punches and chops from all angles.
"I expect nothing less from a gym leader's main Pokemon."said Lincoln, having already decided who to use next.
"Corvisquire, I choose You!"declared Lincoln as he brought out the raven Pokemon for battle.
"So, a flying type. Pretty buy the book stuff. Let's see if your Corvisquire can stand up to my Machamp!"said Bea, before making a hand motion that said bring it on!
"Corvisquire, use drill peck!"ordered Lincoln, causing the Raven Pokemon to begin spinning its beak like a drill as it charged at the superpower Pokemon!
"Use knock off!"ordered Bea, causing Machamp to surround his arms with dark energy before striking the raven Pokemon, causing damage!
"Use fury attack!"ordered Lincoln, causing the raven Pokemon to quickly recover and strike the super power Pokemon with fury attack!
"Drill peck!"ordered Lincoln, causing Corvisquire to strike Machamp with the super effective flying type move!
"Use poison jab!"ordered Bea, causing Machamp to surround his hands with poison fingertips before striking the raven Pokemon with poison jab!
"Corvisquire!"yelled Lincoln.
"Now use cross chop!"ordred Bea, as the super power Pokemon surrounded his front arms with energy before striking the raven Pokemon in an X like motion, knocking Corvisquire to the ground!
"Corvisquire! Get up! So them how hard you trained under Mustard! Show every last one of them all that effort you put into training! Show me while you're an amazing Pokemon! Corvisquire, I believe in you!"said Lincoln, hoping his words of encouragement would reach his Pokemon.
Corvisquire quickly opened his eyes and let out a massive Battle cry as he began glowing!
"Corvisquire, you're evolving!"said Lincoln as Corvisquire began to grow in size and shape before an entirely different Pokemon took the position where Corvisquire once stood.
Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Corviknight, the raven Pokemon, and the evolved form of Corvisquire. This Pokemon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar Region. The Black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the hearts of any foe.
"Ha, I see you can gigantamax as well!"said Lincoln, knowing that his Corviknight could gigantamax.
"I see... then let's make this a gigantamax battle!"declared Bea, as both trainers recall their Pokemon back to their pokeballs.
From their dynamax bands, a bit of dynamax energy came out of their wishing stars and into their pokeballs, causing said pokeballs to expand in size. Both trainers then toss their pokeballs into the field and release their gigantamax Pokemon onto the field!!
"Machammp!"declared gigantamax Machamp.
"Corvi!"declared gigantamax Corviknight!
"Use g-max darkness!"declared Bea, causing Machamp to release two blasts of dark energy at the Raven Pokemon!
"Corvi!"declared gigantamax Corviknight.
"Use G-max wild rage!"ordered Lincoln, causing gigantamax Corviknight to release the blast of air towards gigantamax Machamp, causing super effective damage.
"Use G-max chi strike!"ordered Bea, as gigantamax Machamp focused its energy into its fists and struck gigantamax Corviknight!
"Use G-max wild rage, and put all of your power into it!"declared Lincoln, causing gigantamax Corviknight to begin flapping its wings, adding more power to its G- Max wild rage!
This attack connected with Machamp and created super effective damage as Machamp began to shrink down back in size before it was revealed that she had been knocked out in the fray!
"Machamp!"yelled Bea.
"Machamp is unable to battle! Meaning that the battle belongs to Lincoln and Corviknight."declared the referee as the raven Pokemon began to shrink down back to its regular size.
"You were awesome, Corviknight!"declared Lincoln as he went over and hugged his Pokemon.
"Corvi..."said the raven Pokemon while blushing.
Bea meanwhile recalled Machamp.
"You did an amazing job out there and more than deserve a good rest. Thank you for everything."said Bea, as she walked over to Lincoln.
"I would have never expected Corvisquire to evolve into Corviknight in the middle of a match. Add to that that you happen to have an Urshifu. You are certainly an amazing trainer, Challenger 126, I mean Lincoln."said Bea, as Lincoln walk over towards her.
"I just got lucky as Master mustard managed to humble me back down the earth when he defeated me like it was nothing."said Lincoln, knowing if he still hasn't fought Mustard what he was serious.
"Still, you have earned the fighting badge."said Bea, as she handed Lincoln over the fighting badge.
"Yes! We just won the fighting badge!"declared Lincoln as he held the fighting badge as high as he could in the air.

A short while later...
Lincoln accident the Pokemon center when he suddenly remember that he needed to update Lori on his status.
"Lori...I...what are they doing there?"asked Lincoln, noticing that most of his family, minus Lynn and Lola we're watching him through what appear to be the TV screen.
"Just hear the mount Lincoln, please."said Lori, as Lincoln decided not to ruin his good mood so... he decided to hear them out...
"Alright... they have one chance."said Lincoln with a serious tone in his voice.
[After a hard battle between the gym leader Bea, and Challenger 126 Lincoln, it was the Challenger who ended up on top through a hard fought battle. Now Lincoln has the fighting badge and is one step closer to the Galar League! Now he must face his family and figure out if he can forgive them or not for what they have done! Will Lincoln forgive his family? Only time will tell as the journey continues]
