Hanna sighed as Emily and maya dragged her to a dress store.
Walking up to the front desk the lady behind it asked them what would they like.
Emily whispered something to her and she nodded before disappearing.
Hanna furrowed her eyebrows and squinted her eyes accusingly. "What was that?"
"I came here earlier. I picked something out." Emily answered.
Hanna rolled her eyes knowing she wasn't going to get anymore information out of Emil or maya
"Here you go. There's a changing room right there and here are the shoes." The lady said returning with the things Emily requested.
"Thanks." maya said before they walked towards a changing room.
Hanna went inside and put the dress on and it fit like a glove. It was a high slit on the right with an off-shoulder that was backless. The red looked and matched her nails and makeup.
She put on the shoes and they looked great.
Stepping out she saw as she predicted that they didn't have dresses on.
"How come you guys aren't dressed?"
"You'll see." They both simultaneously said smiling.
"Creepy much." Hanna muttered.
They soon left the store and started to drive and Hanna had no idea where they were going. Hanna checked her phone and saw that Caleb still didn't reply. She felt worried and wanted to text. But she didn't want to come off as clingy. She didn't wanna add more stress that he probably was feeling.
After a few minutes past they arrived at a restaurant. It looked fancy from the way it looked and from the name she couldn't even pronounce.
All three girls got out of the car and Hanna turned to them. "So we're eating here?" She asked confused about what was going on.
"Yes, we are Hanna. You look beautiful ." Said a voice behind her. She quickly turned around and saw Caleb in a tux.
"Wait you set this up?" Hanna asked as her smile grew.
Caleb smiled. "Guilty." Her heart felt like it was overwhelmed with joy. Never in her life has Sean or any guy attempted or even thought about going this far for her.
"We'll leave you love birds alone. Call us when you guys are ready to go and we'll pick you up." Emily smiled happily at her friends.
"Have fun but not too much fun." Maya joked before Emily laughed and pulled her to the car.
Hanna and Caleb chuckled. "I love them together. Way more than Emily and Ben."
Caleb nodded his head in agreement. "He was very odd."
Hanna snorted. "Yeah and odd looking. I'm glad she upgraded."
Caleb chuckled. "Ready to go inside?"
Hanna smiled and grabbed his hand. "Always."
They walked into the fancy restaurant and the first thing Hanna noticed was the nice decor and the delicious mouth-watering aroma of food.
"Greeting Monsieur and Mademoiselle. What may I help you with today?" A pale man with heavily gelled hair asked from behind the desk.
"Yes, we have a reservation. Rivers." Caleb answered the man.
The man typed in the computer before looking up. "ahh right this way." He said before leading them them to the tables.
Hanna and Caleb followed the man to the table and Hanna couldn't help but marvel at the restaurant. It was beautifully decorated and built. It looked like something out of a castle.
Once they arrange their seats they were seated at a table by a window with a beautiful view.
Hanna was just in awe she had never had anyone do this for her. Or anything this romantic in general.
"I'll leave you with the orders and someone will be with you shortly. au revoir." The man said before leaving.
Turning to Caleb she beamed. "This is amazing. I can't believe you had Emily and Maya get me out of the house."
"Well, we did say we'll sneak out of here and have our date," Caleb smirked.
"Yeah, but I thought that night we went to the club was it," Hanna said before picking up the menu.
"I wanted more effort in it. Besides I feel like the night was heavy." He said referring to the mood his mom had him in.
Hanna nodded understandingly "regardless it was fun."
Opening the menu she looked at the prices and her eyes nearly bulged out her head.
"Caleb! Everything is so expensive here? Like the cheapest thing is 85 and that's for a salad!" Hanna exclaimed in shock and disbelief.
"Get anything. I have enough to pay. I've been planning this. Besides I want to take you somewhere nice. You deserve it." Caleb smiled trying to reassure her.
"So do you! you also don't deserve to play the sugar daddy role. Like really you could've taken me to Burger King and I would've been happy." Hanna said jokingly but meant every word.
"Really? You'd want a whopper?" Caleb asked amused.
"Yes. Just fewer onions so my breath won't stink when I kiss you." She laughed.
She looked for something that was one of the cheapest.
"What are you thinking about getting?" Caleb asked.
"The lemon pepper caviar," Hanna answered.
Caleb raised an eyebrow. "Do you know what caviar is?"
Hanna frowned. "Um is it like fish? Or clams?"
"It's fish eggs."
Hanna gagged at the thought of it. Yeah she was definitely not getting that.
Caleb looked at it and realized it was one of the cheapest things on the menu.
"Hanna." He said practically scolded.
" I know I know. I'll get something I know." Hanna sighed waving her hand dismissively.
She looked and ended up getting potatoes lobster and steak. It was expensive but Caleb wanted her to get something she liked.
When the waiter came they told him their orders Caleb looked pleased to see what Hanna was getting.
They talked the night away as they were eating.
She listened to every word as Caleb talked about his visit with his mom.
"I'm so happy for you Caleb! Are you thinking about visiting her soon?"
Caleb shrugged. "I was thinking about it but I can't help but feel a bit of resentment. I don't know. I want to but I need a chance to digest it."
Hanna nodded. "It's normal to feel that way. Especially with ensuring you went through."
"However when I do go I'm bringing you with me," Caleb smirked eating his crab cake.
Hanna smiled but instantly got nervous about meeting her. "really? You think she'll like me?"
"She'll love you. She actually does already." He told her. He told her about Hanna and she loved her. Especially when she found out about her letting him stay there.
"Really? Why?" Hanna asked confused.
"I told her about us and stuff."
Hanna nodded internally smiling. It would've torn her up inside if his mom didn't like her.
"Thank you, Hanna. Without you, I wouldn't have had a conversation with her. Nor would I be here having the time of my life with you." He said meaning every word. Without her he would've been sleeping on a bus stop or taking a greyhound to Arizona.
Hanna smiled. "Caleb. It's you that has good taste in women." She joked reaching out to grab his hand.
Caleb grinned.
"So do you like the dress and stuff? I had no idea what dress to get or what to do so I asked Emily." Caleb asked hoping she didn't mind that he couldn't figure it all out himself.
Hanna heard the anticipation for her answer in his voice. "I loved it all. I appreciate all this Caleb. I've never been treated like this before." She answered honestly.
The way Caleb smiled made her heart skip a beat. "And I'm guessing our outfits matching was your idea?"
Caleb nodded shyly.
She beamed. "You know me so well. Remind me to take pictures so I can make a scrapbook."
Caleb chuckled. "What can I say you make me want to go all out for you."
Hanna just looked at him adoringly. The first thing she thought was that she was going to do the same for him. She just needed to think of something just as amazing as the date they we're currently on.
Soon they were done with their food and Caleb had an idea pop into his mind.
"Are you sure you don't want this 50 to pay for the food?" Hanna asked feeling bad that he had to pay for an expensive dinner.
"No cause we're gonna run on 3." He whispered looking around for waiters.
Hanna's eyes bulged out of her head. "What?!?" She whispered shouted.
"You ready?" He said getting on the edge of his seat.
" I thought you said you had enough to pay!" She frantically whispered to him but also got on the edge of her seat so she wouldn't be left behind.
"I'm just playing Hanna," he smirked pulling out Six One-hundred bills and putting them on the table.
Hanna sighed in relief. "You are such an ass."
Caleb smirked. "Oh come on it was funny," he said standing up and holding her hand.
"You're lucky I get to keep this dress." Hanna joked before holding his hand tight and walking out with him.
They stood outside and Hanna felt sad. She wasn't ready for the night to end. If it was up to her they'd be together for hours.
"I wish this night was longer." She said grabbing her phone to send a text to Emily and Maya. She hope they'd take their time getting here so she can get more time alone with Caleb.
"Who says it can't get longer? Let's go to the park. I saw one not that far from here after I got my tux." He said pointing down the street.
Hanna nodded putting her phone away and walked with him. She was happy that they had more time together.
As he walked a lot of things swirled through Caleb's mind as they walked there. He figured it was the same for Hanna cause the walk was silent. A comfortable silence, however.
When they got there Hanna sat on the swing and Hanna did the same.
Caleb couldn't help but notice the moonlight rays on her. She looked beautiful.
"I love how everything is coming together. Your mom and us having each other. The future is gonna be amazing with you by my side." She said without thinking.
When Caleb didn't reply. Hanna chuckled nervously mentally face-palming. " sorry. I think the moon or the atmosphere is getting to me."
Caleb just stared. As she said those words. He realized something. He was falling in love with Hanna Marin.
"Caleb?" She asked self-consciously. Hanna was mentally kicking herself for making things awkward.
Snapping out his epiphany he smiled. "Sorry, your words got me thinking. About the future."
Hanna looked away out into the rest of the park view. "Do you think I'll be in it?" Her felt was pounding in her chest, scared about his answer.
Caleb felt his heart skip before answering. "I could be blind. And I'll still find a way to see you in it."
Hanna smiled that smile he loved that showed her dimples. He felt his heart get overwhelmed. He wanted to tell her. But instead, he said something else.
"Hanna I know we talked about waiting for us to come out as a couple but I really want to come out."
Caleb wanted to tell her but he felt like it was too soon. Plus he wanted them to be out in the open with their relationship when he told her. Not hiding and dodging anything.
Hanna's smile faltered away before answering. "I know but I'm not sure yet."
"Why?" He asked. When she didn't answer he softly grabbed her hand. "Hanna ."
she sighed before turning to him. "I'm scared okay? If we come out things will change in our relationship. What if you don't like me as much anymore? What if things turn out like how things were with Sean? I'm just scared once we take that step things will change."
Caleb now understood why she was hesitant. "Hanna things will change. But for the better. This is only moving us forward in our relationship." he said before squeezing her hand comfortingly.
Hanna bit her lip in hesitation so he continued.
"I'm ready to take this step. I'm ready to tell the world I'm yours and you're mine. I want to become more and do more but we can't cause we haven't made that step." He finished earnestly.
Hanna nodded slowly looking at the wood chips on the ground before looking into his eyes. "You promise?"
Caleb stood up and walked behind Hanna and kissed her cheek. "I promise Hanna Marin."
Hanna also stood up and kissed him deeply.
Caleb returned it with just as much or even more passion. It had to be Something in the California air. Cause Caleb was feeling things he has never felt before. He just hoped Hanna would feel the same eventually.
Little did he know Hanna was falling for him too. She just didn't realize it yet.

Caleb and Hanna stood by the restaurant now waiting for Emily and Maya.
"So. How was tonight?" Caleb asked.
Hanna smiled widely. "It was amazing."
Caleb walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist before kissing her cheek.
Soon The car pulled up showing their ride was here.
Caleb and Hanna got in the car and one thing Hanna noticed was Maya and Emily's clothes were wrinkled and Emily's lip gloss was smudged along with Maya's. Their hair gave off sex hair vibes.
"Oh my god, you little sluts!" Hanna cheered laughing.
Emily blushed while Maya laughed. "What can I say she's irresistible."
"And you told us to not have too much fun."Caleb said making Hanna snort.
Soon they were at the house and Caleb wasn't sure if she wanted to wait to show everyone that they were together till tomorrow. That was until they sat in the living room talking to everyone and Hanna sat on his lap.
"Woah Hanna. What's this?" Spencer asked with her eyebrows furrowed. She had suspicions about them having a secret and Hanna told her nothing was going on. she lied to her. Just when she finally started to believe her. How could Hanna do this to everyone?
Everyone except Maya and Emily agreed with Spencer.
"Are you guys..." Ezra trailed off.
"Yes. Jeez, it's not that shocking." Hanna rolled her eyes.
"So that's why you weren't getting with Ariana?" Toby asked.
Caleb nodded. "I thought that it was obvious." Toby just shrugged in reply.
"No wonder you were so pissed at her," Aria muttered.
"Alright, guys tell me what you guys did." Emily started a new topic much to Hanna and Caleb's relief. Spencer noticed the lack of shock maya and Emily had. She was very upset and Toby caught her eye. He knew from her body language.
After a bit, they went upstairs and got ready for bed.
Hanna walked out of the bathroom to see Caleb wearing boxers with nothing else on. Hanna was wearing a spaghetti-strap shirt with boy shorts.
She got in bed and Caleb joined soon after.
"I wasn't expecting you to show everyone we were together right away," Caleb admitted out loud.
Hanna cuddled closer to him. "Why hide it any longer? Now we don't have to sneak around. It was better to get it over with."
He kissed her forehead before thinking out loud. "I don't know what I did in my life to deserve someone like you. The universe was against me for so long."
"You're a good person Caleb. Good people attract good things." Hanna said before yawning.
"You really think so?" He asked stroking her arm.
"Yes." She said before kissing his cheek.
Hanna laid wide awake that night. She watched as Caleb slept and knew one thing. She was falling and falling hard. Hanna really hoped she wouldn't mess anything up. There was a nagging feeling in the back of her mind asking if he would feel the same. She hopes he felt the same.
