As Lincoln faced the mold Pokemon, he was wondering what he was going to do next as the Kung Fu pokémon was also just as confused as his opponent has now just gained a massive power boost in attack power and special attack power!
'Shuckle have amazing defense and special defense! Add Urshifu's amazing attack power and now this opponent in front of me is extremely dangerous! Add to the fact Gordie still has two other pokémon and this is definitely won't be easy! Man, what am I going to do?!' thought Lincoln has he tried to come up with a strategy to deal with the walking tank that was in front of him known as Shuckle.
"Shuckle, use stone edge!"ordered Gordie, causing the mold Pokemon to unleash a barrage of blue stones at the Kung Fu pokémon!
"Dodge and use wicked blow!"ordered Lincoln, figuring that using up pokémon move that always lines a critical hit well you enough damage to the mold Pokemon.
Urshifu did as his trainer commanded and quickly jumped out of the way before running towards the mole Pokemon and striking Shuckle with wicked blow, causing a great deal of damage even with its amazing defensive power!
"Shuc!"said the mode Pokemon as it was pushed back.
"Use struggle bug!"ordered Gordie, causing the mole Pokemon to let out a hissing sound that released the sound based bug type move at the Kung Fu pokémon, causing a great deal of damage now that it had adequate special attack power!
"Urshifu!"said the Kung Fu Pokemon as he was pushed back.
"Finish with stone edge!"ordered Gordie, causing the mole Pokemon to slam its appendages onto the ground, releasing a barrage of blue stones at the Kung Fu pokémon.
Urshifu tried to jump out of the way but he was struck with impressive power, before he fell to the floor and was reveal to have been knocked out!
"Urshifu!"yelled Lincoln as he couldn't believe that his fighting type Pokemon was taken down so easily.
"Urshifu is unable to battle! Meaning but this part of the battle belongs to Gordie and Shuckle."declared the referee as Lincoln recalled the Kung Fu Pokemon back to his pokeball.
"You did an excellent job out there and deserve a good rest. Now just leave the rest to us!"said Lincoln as he put the pokeball back and pulled out another Pokemon.
"Dreepy, I choose you!"said Lincoln as he called out the lingering Pokemon for battle.
"Dreep!"said the lingering pokémon as he was Battle ready.
"Use rock tomb!"ordered Gordie, causing the mold Pokemon to create a bunch of rocks around it's body before it launched them at the lingering Pokemon!
"Dogde it!"ordered Lincoln, causing the lingering Pokemon to maneuver through the rocks like a snake maneuvering through it's habitat.
"What?!"said Gordie with shock!
"Ha! I raised Dreepy's speed with some special training! Now use bite!"ordered Lincoln, causing the lingering Pokemon to bite the mode Pokemon and do inadequate amount of damage.
"Use astonish!"ordered Lincoln, causing the lingering pokémon to turn around before he turned back and face the mole Pokemon before striking with the Ghost type move, causing damage!
"Infestation!"ordered Lincoln, causing the lingering pokémon to do the bug type move that would cause damage every round!
"So you're going to drain Shuckle bit by bit! I won't let that happen! Use stone edge!"ordered Gordie, causing the mold Pokemon to release a barrage of blue stones at Dreepy, before it felt the effects of infestation and took a bit of damage.
"Maneuver through the rocks and use bite!"ordered Lincoln, causing Dreepy to quickly maneuver through the rocks as it was clear that the attack was too big, and the lingering Pokemon was using his small body to his advantage.
"Use struggle bug!"ordered Gordie, causing the mold Pokemon to begin it's sound based attack.
"Oh nonyou don't! Use bite!"order Lincoln, causing the lingering Pokemon to fly in towards the mole Pokemon with the intention of using bite.
"I was hoping you would do that!"said Gordie, shocking Lincoln.
"Rock tomb!"ordered Gordie, causing the mold Pokemon to unleash a barrage of rocks at Dreepy, striking the lingering Pokemon and doing a lot of damage!
"Dreepy!"shouted Lincoln as soon as the lingering Pokemon fell to the floor and was revealed to have been knocked out!
"Dreepy is unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle belongs to Gordie and Shuckle!"declared the referee as Lincoln recalled Dreepy back to his pokeball.
"You did an amazing job out there and now leave the rest to us!"said Lincoln as he pulled out another pokeball.
"Corviknight, I choose you!"shouted Lincoln as he called out the Raven Pokemon for battle.
"Cor!"said the Raven Pokemon as he stared down at the mold Pokemon.
"Use stone edge!"ordered Gordie, causing the mode Pokemon to once again slam its appendages onto the ground and release a barrage of blue stones!
"Use steel wing to cut through those!"ordered Lincoln, causing the Raven Pokemon to fly towards etone edge and break through it using steel wing!
"What?!"said Gordie with shock!
"Now strike with steel wing!"ordered Lincoln, causing the Raven Pokemon to strike the mole Pokemon with steel wing, causing a great deal of damage.
"Shu!"said the mode Pokemon as it flew into the air.
"Shuckle!"shouted Gordie.
"Finish with drill peck!"ordered Lincoln, causing Corviknight to begin surrounding his beak with a drill like energy before he struck down the Pokemon while he was in midair, sending Shuckle slamming into the ground.
This created a small dust cloud that caused every person on the field to check out the mall Pokemon where the dust settled and it was revealed that Shuckle had been knocked out!
"Shuckle is unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle belongs to Lincoln and Corviknight!"declared the referee as Gordie recalled Shuckle.
"You did an amazing job out there and more than deserve a good rest."said Gordie, before he pulled out another pokeball and prepare to throw it.
"Stonjourner, come on out!"said Gordie as he called out a Pokemon that look like it was an amalgamation of rocks.
Lincoln quickly pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Stonjourner, the big rock Pokemon. It stands in grasslands, watching the sun's descent from zenith to horizon. This Pokémon has a talent for delivering dynamic kicks.
"So it's a pure rock type Pokemon with amazing defensive power. Better be careful."said Lincoln to himself as he decided to stay with Corviknight.
"Use rock tomb!"ordered Gordie, causing the big rock Pokemon to create a barrage of rocks, before it unleashed said barrage of rocks towards the Raven Pokemon!
"Dodge and use steel wing!"ordered Lincoln, causing the Raven pokémon to quickly fly about and avoid getting hit by the rocks of rock tomb.
Then he began closing in on the big rock Pokemon with the intention of using steel wing!
"Use body press!"ordered Gordie, causing the big rock Pokemon to quickly fall on the Raven Pokemon before he could use steel wing, causing a great deal of damage with the fighting type move!
"Corviknight!"shouted Lincoln with worry.
"Crov..."said the Raven Pokemon as it struggled to get up.
"Use rock tomb!"ordered Gordie, causing Stonjourner to unleash a barrage of rocks at the Raven Pokemon, causing a great deal of damage as the Raven Pokemon fell to his trainer side of the field and was revealed to have been knocked out.
"Corviknight is unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle belongs to Gordie and Stonjourner!"declared the referee as Lincoln recalled Corviknight back to his pokeball.
"You did an amazing job out there and more than deserve a good rest! Leave everything to me and Wartortle."said Lincoln as he looked at his opponent and pulled out a pokeball.
"Wartortle, I choose you!"declared Lincoln as he called out the turtle Pokemon for battle.
"So you're using a water type Pokemon! Stonjourner, use body press!"ordered Gordie, causing the big rock Pokemon to run towards the turtle Pokemon as fast as it could.
"Use water pulse!"ordered Lincoln, causing the turtle Pokemon to release a ball of water at the big rock Pokemon, causing a great deal of damage!
"Now finish up with water gun!"ordered Lincoln, causing Wartortle to blast a spray of water from his mouth, striking the big rock Pokemon and causing a great deal of damage.
That is when Stonjourner fell to the floor and was revealed to have been knocked out!
"Stonjourner is unable to battle! Meaning this part of the battle belongs to Lincoln and Wartortle!"declared the referee as Gordie called back his Pokemon.
"You did an amazing job out there and deserve a good rest."said Gordie, before he pulled out another pokeball and prepared to throw it.
"Coalossal, come on out!"said Gordie as he called out a Pokemon that look like it was made out of coal.
Lincoln once again pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Pokedex: Coalossal, the coal Pokemon. It's usually peaceful, but the vandalism of mines enrages it. Offenders will be incinerated with flames that reach 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit.
"Its a rock and fire type which means Wartortle has an advantage but I better not let down my guard."said Lincoln, has he knows letting down his guard will be a bad idea.
"Let's do this battle Galar style!"said Gordie, before he called back the coal Pokemon.
"Oh no!"said Lincoln as he realize what was happening as Gordie's pokeball began to expand with dynamax energy.
"Time to show you the power of gigantamax Coalossal!"declared the rock hard crusher as he threw the pokeball into the air and released gigantamax Coalossal!
"Coal!"said the coal Pokemon as it was ready to throw down.
"Use max flare!" ordered Gordie, causing the coal Pokemon to unleash a powerful blast of fire at the turtle Pokemon!
"Dodge it and use water pulse!"ordered Lincoln, but it was too late as the turtle Pokemon managed to jump out of the way and avoid some damage but still took the front end of Max Flare, but he still managed to unleash water pulse and cause a massive amount of damage to the gigantamax Coalossal!
"Dang it! We did not spend the last several days training so that we could lose here to some gigantamax Pokemon! Get ready to dynamax Wartortle! Huh?"said Lincoln as Wartortle did something unexpected.
"War!"shouted the turtle Pokemon before he began glowing.
Lincoln and Gordie watched with amazement as the turtle Pokemon began to grow in size and what appeared to be cannons appeared on his back. Soon the glowing stopped in a completely different Pokemon stood where war total one stood!
"Blastoise!"declared the new Pokemon as Lincoln pulled out his Pokedex to identify the pokémon in front of him.
Pokedex: Blastoise, the shellfish Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Squirtle! It crushes its foe under its heavy body to cause fainting. In a pinch, it will withdraw inside its shell.
"Yes! Now let's show Gordie the power of gigantamax Blastoise!"said Lincoln as he recalled the shellfish Pokemon back to his pokeball.
"Gigantamax!"shouted Lincoln as his pokeball became surrounded by dynamax energy and he threw it into the air, releasing gigantamax Blastoise onto the field.
"Blastoise!"shouted the gigantamax Pokemon as he was ready for battle with his many cannons.
"Use G max volcalith!"ordered Gordie, causing the coal Pokemon to create a giant stone slab, before making it fall towards the shellfish Pokemon.
"Use G max cannonade!"ordered Lincoln, causing the shellfish Pokemon to turn around and release a barrage of blast of water from his many cannons.
This destroyed g max volcalith, surprising the rock hard crusher as he never expected his Ace Pokemon's signature attack to be defeated.
"Now for the last act!"said Lincoln as gigantamax Blastoise prepared to unleash its ultimate blast of g max cannonade!
"Oh no!"said Gordie, but it was too late as last toys unleashed the final blast of g max cannonade, causing massive amounts of damage to the coal Pokemon.
Coalossal appeared to hang on before it began shrinking down, and then fell to the floor as it was revealed to have been knocked out!
"Yes!"said Lincoln as Blastoise began to shrink back to his normal size.
"Coalossal is unable to battle! Meaning the victory goes to Lincoln and Blastoise!"declared the referee as Gordie recalled his Ace Pokemon.
"You did an amazing job out there and need a good rest."said Gordie, before he turned his attention to his Challenger who made his way over to him.
"Man, I always heard that rock type Pokemon are weak but you prove me wrong."said Lincoln, knowing that any more of the battle would have been bad for Blastoise.
"Yeah! I decided to specialize with rock type Pokemon for that very reason! To prove the stereotype wrong. You have some amazing Pokemon under your belt so you have earned this rock badge."said Gordie, before he and Lincoln shook hands.
Then the rock hard crusher handed Link in the rock badge, the sixth gym badge Lincoln needed in order to participate in the gym challenge!
"Yes! We just earned the rock badge!"declared Lincoln at the top of his lungs as he held the badge as high as he could in the air, with Blastoise moving His hands up with victory.
Meanwhile in the stands Hop couldn't wait to have his battle with Lincoln as now that his old team had been trained up he figured...No...He knew that the results wouldn't be like last time!
He would definitely defeat Lincoln the next time they battled!
