Days have passed since Lincoln lost to Hop in their three vs three Pokemon battle. Since then Lincoln has been training his Pokemon, and himself better than before in order to avenge his loss while at the same time getting ready for his seventh Gym battle against the Spikemuth Gym leader in Spikemuth City!
Lincoln didn't know much about the gym leader, other than he specialized with dark type Pokemon. Lincoln knew he had a lot of Pokemon with moves to counter dark types, especially Urshifu, who is part fighting type. But at the same time Lincoln learned long ago not to underestimate his opponent as that's what has resulted in the losses in his career as a Pokemon trainer.
But as he crosses the frozen sea to get to Spikemuth, he couldn't help but wonder what his family is doing well he is making his way to get his seventh gym badge.
'I wonder if Lola and Lynn finally realize what they did wrong and hopefully learn the error of their ways. I mean I may have overreacted with the whole running away thing, but they're the ones who took it to another level. I wonder how the others are reacting?' wondered Lincoln, as he continued pedaling through the Frozen sea to get to Spikemuth.
Meanwhile, back at the loud house everyone was getting ready for a huge trip. Thanks to Albert's connections with the Pokemon League, the loud family got a bunch of tickets to go to Glar to see the Rose Bowl, the annual competition where trainers will battle it out for a chance to take on the champion, Leon, for his title, along with a huge cash prize and a huge trophy.
Lori was making sure she was packing an extra charger so that she could be in contact with her beloved Bobby boo boo bear, who she knew was in a place called Isle of Armor, last time they talked.
'I can't wait to see my beloved boyfriend and beloved little brother again.' thought Lori with a smile on her face as she continued packing.
Leni was trying to decide on what outfit she should take with her to go to Galar. She wanted to look good when she met Lincoln again and again tell her how sorry she was in person.
Lori was feeling the same but she quite preoccupied at the moment as she couldn't decide on what she should wear when she sees Bobby and Lincoln again.
'I hope Lincoln continents me in my new outfit.' thought Leni, who was wearing the same light green sundress she always wears but this time she added a sun hat to her outfit.
Luna was packing up her bass guitar, along with other items she would want to show Lincoln. She was excited to hear about a guy named Piers, who is apparently the local celebrity musician of Galar. She wanted to hear his music and see how he could help her improve as a songwriter and musician.
'I can't wait to see my little bro again and rock on with him.' thought Luna as she was inspecting her guitar, before placing it in her suitcase.
Luan was packing up Mr Coconuts, as he wanted to go to Galar. She was also packing up several of her gag items, as ever since Lincoln forgave her, she felt the urge to laugh again, tell jokes, and pull her sometimes not so funny pranks.
'I can't wait to plucking see Lincoln again. Hahahahha! Oh, I definitely need to tell him that one the next time I see him.' thought Luan, before she placed the rubber chicken inside of her suitcase.
Lynn meanwhile was packing up some sports equipment and other items she would need for her trip to Galar. She was interested in seeing the fighting farmer after seeing how big his biceps were. She wanted to learn his secrets. She was also thinking of ways of how to apologize to Lincoln in person after the way she's been acting the last several weeks.
"How am I going to make it up to my little bro?"questions Lynn, having no idea of how to properly apologize as she was not used to apologizing.
"Just be sincere and apologize."said Lucy, who appeared behind Lynn, scaring her roommate so much that she jumped into her bed.
"I'm already packed and ready to go."said Lucy, who already packed everything she needed, including a tribal coffin her size...
"Okay then..."said Lynn, who wondered where Lucy got a coffin child sized, but she decided it was better not to ask.
Lana meanwhile was saying goodbye to all of her animals, who would either take care of themselves or would be staying with friends of hers, which coincidentally were other animals?
"Now you behave El Diablo and Hops. I'm counting on you guys to make sure the other stay in line and I don't need to remind you guys again that you need to stay out of trouble while I'm gone."said Lana, causing her pets to nod their heads in agreement.
"Oh, how am I going to apologize to Lincoln when I'm so not used to apologizing."said Lola, wondering how she was going to make it up to Lincoln for being such a brat the last couple of weeks he's been gone.
"Just apologize and make sure you're sincere about it as he'll tell if you're being half-hearted."said Lana while rolling her eyes.
"Fine..."but I don't have to like it...Okay, that was too much, even for me."said Lola, who was feeling weird as she has never felt this guilty before in her life.
And she knew the only way she was going to feel relief from this guilt was to make up with Lincoln.
Lisa on the other hand was getting ready to study everything she could about Pokemon, as soon as she got to Galar. She already had a notebook and pencil at the ready to study the behavior of Pokemon in the wild, as well as the strategies Pokemon trainers come up with when they commend their Pokemon.
"Oh, this is the opportunity of a lifetime and I'm not going to miss it!"said Lisa with excitement, before she looked over at Lily who was packing up a huge bag of diapers.
"Are all of those diapers really necessary?"asked Lisa, earning a look from Lily."Touche."
"Want incoln."said Lily, who was excited to see her big brother again.
"Yeah, I want to see him too."said Lisa, feeling like everyone in the house was feeling the same thing.
Rita and Lynn Sr meanwhile we're shocked when Albert gave them a card full of pokie dollars so that they could get souvenirs for their trip, along with hotel accommodations and all you can eat food!
"Are you sure this is really okay?"questions his son-in-law, wondering if it was really okay to spend all this money on Albert's dime.
"I haven't used this old card in years, so it's has a lot of money in it. Of course that money is pokedollars so it's pretty useless here. But in Galar, the least I can do is make sure my family doesn't starve and have a place to rest."said Albert, before he handed the poke card over to his daughter.
"Thanks, Dad, we really appreciate it."said Rita, who knew that was the understatement of the century.
"I know the girls better than anyone and I know they're going to want souvenirs so make sure you have plenty of them, and a lot for Lincoln as well."said Albert with a chuckle.
"Are you sure you don't want to go with us?"inquired his daughter, causing Albert to shake his head.
"Heh, at my age flying around around so easy anymore. I would love to go with you guys and see Lincoln again, really I would. But my doctor just said that I need to stay grounded for a while after a reason bout with gout."said Albert, as his doctor said that he couldn't go into the air.
"Well, we'll make sure Lincoln calls you and will stream the Pokemon battles live so you don't miss anything."said Rita, trying to make her father feel better.
"I appreciate that. Oh, and don't forget to give these tickets to Lincoln's friend's families. I that they want to see their children too. So don't forget to give these to the McBrides, Changs, and the Casagrandes."said Albert as he handed them the extra tickets for the other members.
"Of course."said Rita, who took the tickets.
"We call them over here so they should be here any minute to get the tickets."said Lynn Sr, who figured that Rosa would make sure that everyone would be here so that they could see their children again after their journey through Galar.
"Man, I wonder what Lincoln is doing at this very moment."said Albert with a smile, thinking that Lincoln must be enjoying his journey.
Meanwhile Lincoln was standing just outside of Spikmuth, with the front gate to the city closed off to the rest of the world!
"What the heck is this!"shouted Lincoln, wondering what the heck was going on.
