43: Eastern Sage Cultivation Reincarnation

Once there waws a young western man who was, simply put, a medical genius. In fact, he single-handedly managed to bring about a medical revolution to the point of near-singularity. His work was widely acclaimed, he had cured numerous diseases, and he was only forty years old. However, he found his work coming to an end, as there were no more diseases to cure. As such, he chose to pursue his secret dream: cultivation.
As a toddler, he had been enamored by Naruto, and, indeed, it was the power, skill and healing ability of Tsunade that pushed him towards being a doctor. As such, as he grew older and started to find flaws in the chakra system of Naruto, he was heartbroken. This led him to cultivation novels. True, their systems were vague and flawed as well, but far closer related to reality through Eastern medicine traditions. As such, he moved to Japan after retiring in order to study these traditions. As so he did, for thirty more years, and found great success by it. At first, tea and roots, meditation and Buddhism were all studies by him. Bit by bit, his knowledge of how the body worked, of chemistry and science, pushed him further and further down the path of fusing tradition Asian mysticism with modern medical methods. Finally, on his sixty-fifth birthday, he succeeded in creating the foundation of cultivation for his world by releasing On the Basics of Ki, a book that unveiled the path to becoming a Qi Condensation Cultivator. Sadly, no further realms were discovered by him, as he died on his seventy-fifth birthday, too old to cultivate. His deathbed wish was to have the opportunity to truly practice all he knew.
Only to find himself reborn as a young man of ordinary in a cultivation world.
His talent may have been ordinary, but thanks to his understanding of all things cultivation, the effort he put in to invent it in his world, and his philosophy and medical knowledge, he wouldn't stay there long. Becoming an alchemy saint, a high-level Buddhist monk, and a Confucian Scholar by the time he was twenty (not to mention his skill in the arts), he finally sets foot on the path of the cultivator at the odd age of twenty-one. Follow his pursuit of longevity, as he cracks the sky, reveals talent and powerful physiques, and tempers mind, body, and spirit to defy the heavens!
