A/N: I think this is the shortest one yet, but here's an update nonetheless. Thank you for reading!

It's not that he likes Sebastian now. He's still very much the intolerable pain in the ass he's always been.

It's just that... he somehow seems less intolerable, lately.

He's not sure what it is. But since that night at the bar, he's found the eyerolls Sebastian inevitably induces to be just a little more fond than they once were.

The other man had a point, he thinks, maybe, though he's loath to admit it. Sebastian doesn't treat him differently, and now that he sees that, really notices, it does make a difference. When he's talking to Sebastian, he can almost forget, sometimes. And as much as he's thrown himself into his work chasing after the chance of a breath of clear air in the fog that has consumed his life for the past year, he's never really found it.

"Oh, good, you're here," Sebastian says, walking into the break room.

Kurt looks up from his cup of coffee, cradled gently in his hands.

"You are not going to believe what Heather just did," he starts, a smirk on his lips as he slides into the chair opposite Kurt and launches into a story.

No, he's never really found it.

Until now.
