A/N: Sorry for the late delays. I had a lot of emotional bullshit, social bullshit, financial bullshit, etc. Basically, life is screwing with me. Yeah... Not really. Read and review. Also, sorry for any bad grammar and other bullshit in here.

Norm. P.O.V.

Once Lilo and Stitch knew that Angel and the experiment, Max, were in a good hiding spot; they both release the door and run to the couch as if they turned the TV off.

"Man," Pleakley came through the door, "Jumba has to fix that door when he wakes up from his coma."

He turns and waves, "Hey Lilo, Stitch."

"Hi," both wave back to him as he looks around, "What are the two of you doing here?"

"We were about to go outside just before you enter," Lilo quickly states and Pleakley nods, "Okay then. Well, I guess that means it is time for me to do some cleaning."

Lilo comments, "Here let me go to the closet then."

She walks over to the closet and nearly screams as Angel and the experiment fall onto the ground.

"Lilo?" she hears Pleakley calling her name suspiciously, "is everything okay?"

"Uh…Yeah," she lies as she turns to Angel standing with the experiment.

"Of all the places to hide, why did you choose the closet?" she asks lowly.

The experiment points to Angel, "Blame her. I told her it was a bad idea to hide in the closet."

She releases a low growl and it quickly quiets the experiment.

Lilo sighs, "Great."

"Lilo?" Pleakley asks again. "What is taking so long?"

"Um…I'm talking to Angel," she states as she turns to Angel.

"Angel, you run to the back door with the cousin while I make sure that Pleakley doesn't enter the kitchen," she makes a plan and they both nod understanding it clearly.

Lilo picks up the broom and walks back to the living room while Angel picks the cousin up, running to the kitchen and sets him down. He opens the door, but quickly closes it as he has his back pressed against it. "Oh no."

"Gaba youga mean 'Oh no'?" Angel asks and he releases an annoyed sigh, "English please! I can't understand what you just said before."

Angel takes a deep breath to calm herself and states, "What do you mean 'Oh no'?"

The experiment smiles, "Thank you, that's so much better. Also, Nani is coming with David from the back door; they were at the bottom of the steps."

Angel's eyes widen considerably as she grabs the experiment's paw and they run back to go to the elevator, but Lilo was in the hallway.

She rushes over to them and lowly asks, "Why didn't you leave through the backdoor?"

"Nani and David are there," the experiment states as he looks back, "I think they're going to come soon because I sorta, kinda shut the door hard."

"What!" Lilo lowly states as she turns to Pleakley, who was too busy trying to clean the living room, while Stitch was trying to help him. She looks at the elevator and sees that they were going to try hiding upstairs in Lilo and Stitch's room.

"Okay, hide in my room while I make sure Pleakley doesn't go up there or Nani either," she said and the two experiments nod as they went on the lift.

Lilo pushes the button and sighs at how fast things became so complicated; then she walks back to the living room with a vacuum cleaner for Pleakley. She hands it to him and he thanks her, "Thanks Lilo."

"No problem," she smiles as she takes the broom. "So, Pleakley… I was thinking that maybe today you don't have to clean my and Stitch's room, that maybe we can do it ourselves."

"Hmm?" Stitch looks at her confused.

"What? Why?" Pleakley steps back as he has a hand over his heart. "Are you saying that you don't need my help anymore?"

Lilo quickly retorts, "No, not at all. I just think our room isn't that messy and since it isn't messy you don't need to clean it."

Pleakley looks at Lilo skeptically and then Nani and David enter to the kitchen.

"Hello?" Nani asks out loud.

"Living room!" Pleakley yells as he stares at Lilo.

They both come in and David asks, "Why did you guys slam the backdoor so hard?"

"What?" Pleakley looks at him, "It wasn't me. I was cleaning the living room with Lilo and Stitch."

He adds, "Though it could've been Angel, she was just here."

David shakes his head, "No, it wasn't her. In fact, it was as if someone was about to leave but quickly ran back inside."

Pleakley places his hand on his chin as he rubs it, "Interesting."

He turns his gaze back to Lilo, "Where is Angel anyway Lilo?"

Lilo gulps, "I told you she left."

Nani crosses her arms over her chest as she glares at Lilo, "If that's the case then either you guys or David and I would've seen her, but she didn't leave the house through the back door or the front door."

She adds with the motherly tone, "Lilo, the truth."

"Angel forgot something in our room that's why she left is such a rush," Lilo quickly said something as Nani looks at her closely.

She turns and goes to the elevator with everyone else behind her.

"Angel!" she calls through the shaft, "Ih?"

"Mind coming down," Nani states as they hear the sound of the elevator descending and there on the platform was Angel.

"Gaba isa problem?" Angel asks as she looks at the group.

"Is what Lilo said true?" Nani asks, "That you did forget something in their room and wanted to get it?"

"Ih," she nods, "Isa all meega fault."

Angel adds, "Naga worry. Meega clean mess soon."

Nani looks over Angel and then Lilo and Stitch; she kept looking between the three of them.

Nani states, "Lilo, if I see that you're lying; you are so going to be grounded."

She adds, "That goes for you too, Stitch and Angel."

They nod as Nani lingers her gaze on them and takes David's hand as they go upstairs to Nani's room; Pleakley shrugs as he goes back to the living room to pick up the vacuum cleaner so he could clean the kitchen next.

Lilo, Stitch, and Angel all went on the elevator and went straight to Lilo and Stitch's room. Once there, they all released a breath of relief they didn't know they were holding.

Lilo smiles widely, "Well, even after all that chaos we manage to be safe."

She turns to Angel, "So, where's the cousin?"

Angel points with a big smile, "There."

Lilo and Stitch look at the place, but Angel could sense that they were not happy anymore.

"Lilo?" she asks as she sees the expression on her face.

She turns and sees that the bed was empty.

"GABA!" Angel screams as she runs to the bed and looks all over the area, "But, meega told him stay hagata until meega come back. Where he go?"

"Ahhhh! Help!" they hear a shrieking voice and all turn to each other.

"Pleakley," all three of the chorus as they swiftly jump onto the elevator and ride it back down.

When they made it back onto the ground floor, they run to the kitchen where Pleakley was chasing after the experiment.

"Help me! This thing, this thing... This monster attacked me! It won't leave me alone!" Pleakley yells as he points at the experiment with a shaky hand holding the broom.

"Hey, who're you calling a thing? Or monster for that manner," he counters loudly, "You attacked me with that vacuum cleaner! I was just trying to calm you down, but then you kept trying to hit me and I didn't want to hurt you!"

"Man," Pleakley whispers, "this monster is REALLY cranky."

"Excuse me," the experiment glares at Pleakley, "You said something?"

"Who me," Pleakley points to himself, "No."

The experiment narrows his eyes, "You did. What, just because I look like a stuff animal you don't think I can hurt you, well you're wrong. I can still punch you with ease!"

He was about to charge when Stitch jumps in between them, "Naga! No! We not hit Ohana."

The experiment growls as he lowers his fist down, "Fine."

Nani comes downstairs hollering, "What's wrong with you guys?"

"What's going on –" she doesn't finish her sentence when she enters the kitchen and sees the new experiment as well as the damage to the cleaner and to the kitchen itself.

"Wha…Wha…What the heck happened?" she finally spits it out. "What happened to the kitchen!?"

She sees Lilo and her gaze hardens immediately, "LILO!"

Lilo cringes as she looks down to the ground while Nani continues talking, "Did you know there was another experiment loose?"

"Well…." Lilo stretches the word, but once glance from Nani made her look back down to the ground, "Yes. We activated it because we thought it could help us understand what happened to Max and Jumba."

"Lilo," Nani eyes aren't hard anymore, but full of sadness, "I'm so disappointed in you. I thought you knew better than lying to me and to your ohana."

"But Nani," Lilo starts; however, Nani interjects, "I don't want to hear it Lilo. You're grounded and we'll talk to the Grand councilwoman about the new experiment."

"Nani," Lilo comments, "it was for a good cause. If we could figure out what happened that night, then we'll be able to help both Max and Jumba. This experiment is the key of figuring it out."

Nani shakes her head, "Lilo, I don't want to hear about it anymore. We'll talk tomorrow about this. Just get changed and go to bed."

"Nani," Lilo begins to beg, "I was just trying to help."

"LILO!" Nani raises her voice and Lilo knew that meant this discussion was over.

She shouts angrily, "You're not my mom! You can't treat me like your child! I'm your sister!"

"Lilo," Nani tries hard not to scream again, "as long as you're under my roof, you will follow my rules understand. I don't care how angry you are at me. You can throw a fit or whatever, but know that you are going to be put to work. You're going to help clean around the house the moment you get home from hula practice. First you will clean the clothes in the laundry, and then clean the dishes in the kitchen. Three weeks of that."

Lilo looks at her irked and puts her arms over her chest.

Nani asks, "Do you want to make it a month?"

Lilo doesn't reply, but Nani continues, "Congratulations! You just made it a month. Now go to bed Lilo."

Lilo remains adamant and Nani adds, "Okay… Fine. Two months plus you have to clean the bathroom."

Lilo eyes widen, "You can't be serious."

"Oh believe me," Nani states, "I'm dead serious. Do you want to make it four months now?"

"NO!" Lilo shouts, "I'll go, I'll go."

She leaves the kitchen defeated with Stitch by her side as Angel looks at the experiment crossed; she runs back to where Lilo and Stitch left.

"Angel wait…I –," but it was pointless because she was already gone and the experiment looks up at Nani.

The experiment droops his ears as he looks back to the mess he made and then back to Nani.

"Nani, I –," he stops as soon as Nani raises her hand, meaning to stop talking.

"I don't wanna hear what you have to say right now," she speaks hurt as she and David go back upstairs to Nani's room.

The experiment turns to Pleakley and he sighs, "Might as well take you to the ship so you can sleep in one of the containment units."

The experiment looks back to the mess and turns to Pleakley, "I'm sorry."

He shakes his head, "You're apologizing to the wrong person."

They both leave to the back door and the experiment thought, 'You don't even know the half of it.'

Few minutes…

They were in front of the ship and Pleakley states, "Well, come on… Um…"

Pleakley scratches his head, "You're experiment 628, right?"

The experiment shrugs, "I guess so."

Pleakley states, "You need a name then."

The experiment retorts, "No, I don't. I've a name already."

Pleakley continues as if he didn't even hear 628's statement, "How about this as your name?"

"Apple-Dazzlery," he smiles widely with wide eyes.

"Am I some pony?" the experiment counters clearly annoyed by the name suggestion.

"Oh come on," Pleakley frowns, "it is a great name."

"Yeah as great as walking toothpick," the experiment sneers and Pleakley looks at the experiment.

"Listen, I don't know what's your problem," he comments, "but you need to change your act and soon."

"Why?" the experiment asks curiously.

"Because tomorrow the Grand Councilwoman and the rest of the Council is having their yearly assessment of all experiments," Pleakley explains.

"What?!" the experiment shouts shocked.

He nods, "Yep. So if you don't shape up, you'll probably be put back in pod form and then have to be upgraded."

His eyes widen, 'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I have to get out of this assessment before I get an upgrade.'

Pleakley sees that the experiment is freaking out and so he tries to calm him down, "Relax. It never happened before. So I'm pretty sure it won't happen any time soon."

The experiment asks, "How long is this assessment for?"

"As long as it needs to be taken," Pleakley responds.

He turns to the experiment, "But have no fear Apple-Dazzlery, everything will be good by tomorrow."

The experiment sighs, "I've a name already and it's not Apple-Dazzlery."

They enter the ship and Pleakley directs 628 to a small confide room from the back of the ship, a.k.a. Bed-And-Not-Breakfast.

The experiment frowns as he looks at the small room, "Why do I sleep here?"

Pleakley states, "So you don't scare away any potential customers with your…Everything."

He adds, "Now, get some sleep."

He leaves and Max looks over the small room, he sighs as he climbs onto the bed. He looks up and sees the cold gray pipes above him, and then back down to where the tile floor.

He sighs sadly, "How can I sleep? It's my fault that Lilo got in trouble."

Max shakes his head, "Always my fault."

He sighs once more, "Mom, what would you tell me right now. You would tell me to be a good boy and try to fix the mistake without any screaming and fighting."

He speaks downcast as he puts his paws together, "Mom, please try not to worry about me too much. I'll be back home soon and I'll tell you all of this. Just, promise me that you'll get better soon Mom. Please."

After he did a silent prayer for his family, he crawls into bed and tries to sleep the best he could.

Hours later…

Max was tossing and turning in his sleep as he smiles, "Good…sun…beach…fun…time."

Dream…

Max was back to his normal form with his family; all were laughing together and playing along. He smiles widely as they decided to take a trip down to the beach. The day was so far hot and sunny, the way he loved it because it meant he could go swimming in the pool or ocean.

He sees his mom tanning while his sisters and Dad were busy making sand castles. He jumps into the cold ocean and pops back out of the surface, spitting water and laughing.

"Guys! Come on in! The water is awesome!" he smiles as he floats on his back.

Then…The clouds start rolling in and the warm breeze was replaced by a cold one as Max was looking at the ocean.

"What?" he looks back to the beach and sees no one there. "Hello?"

Then he felt something rub against his leg, "Whoa!"

He looks down, but sees nothing and then starts paddling to shore. "Forget this. I'm getting out of here and finding my family."

All of sudden, he felt his leg get pulled under the water and he tries to stay above the water. "Help! Help! Help!"

The next tug pulls him far below the water as he looks the light fade. He looks down and sees his experiment form dragging him further under the water, but this version of him felt evil and basically wrong. He tries to pry it off him, but the experiment seems to be merging with him and then the ocean he was in turns into a muddy river and he was stuck in the currents.

He jostled himself awake as he breathes heavily. "What was the deal of that dream?"

He sighs as he looks at his paw and balls it into a fist, "I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this."

He lays on the bed and looks up at the ceiling, pondering what did the dream mean. However, before any ideas came to mind; Pleakley busts the door and yells. "WHAT are YOU doing HERE!"

Max looks at him confused, "Hmm?"

Pleakley quickly grabs Max's paw and pulls him out of the bed, "The assessment is starting and you're late!"

"Assessment?" Max repeats as he remembered what Pleakley was talking about last night. "Oh, that thing."

Minutes later...

Both of them arrive to a stadium size spaceship and Max is stunned by what he sees. Lizard guards and cadets in this giant ship auditorium. Max asks Pleakley, "Can anyone else see this ship?"

He shakes his head, "No. It is under a special cloaking that disguises it which means no one will see it or hear it."

Max turns to him, "Hear it?"

Pleakley nods, "No, no one can see it or hear it. We're going to be moving soon, but by the request of one of the leading scientists here; they want all experiments to be on board the ship."

He looks down to Max, "Meaning you too."

Max nods, "Okay."

He looks back to the entrance; the guards left their posts, letting the doors slam as they hurried out. He turns back to where the experiments were and sees that they were all gather in one place.

He asks Pleakley, "So, I guess I go over there?"

Pleakley nods and Max gulps nervously as he looks back to the group of experiments. 'How do I manage to put myself in bad predicaments?'

He walks over to the group casually as he scans the area. He sees the numerous amounts of experiments collected in one place, however; there were factions within the sea of them. All seem to form quick cliques and Max was the new transfer student, just by himself.

He was the newbie and decided to go to the rest were, but manage a distance to be away from the others because he didn't feel welcome. He sighs as he sits on the ground, but quickly pulls his paw as someone just missed stepping on it. He jumps to his feet and glares at the ill-mannered red lizard-type creature, with the white lab coat, as he continues to walk through the sea of experiments. He manages to get to the front of the crowd and yells joyfully, "Good morning everyone! As you all may know, I'm Vektor Vodra, and I'm here to make sure you all are good and in tip-top shape! Today is that special day that most of us enjoy. Assessment time~!"

A ton of the experiments groan after hearing this while others laugh.

"Now, time for the mock-sparring fights," he states as he pushes a button and a huge screen comes down, "this screen will pair you up. Remember, these fights aren't for points or anything like that. They are used to see how well your fighting skills are. As soon as I tap the screen, it'll randomly pick the teams and the order they go in."

He taps on it and the screen showed many, many combinations of experiments.

Max's P.O.V.

While I was looking at it I was silently praying that I wouldn't be the first team and was hoping that I had an easy opponent.

It first paired up all the experiments and I sigh in relief that I had gotten Woops, but I was nervous with the order. I prayed that I wouldn't be anywhere in the top.

Norm. P.O.V.

The numbers finally show themselves and Max groans inwardly because he and Woops were the first team. Vektor cleans his glasses and smiles, "Ah, the teams have been picked."

He turns around and orders, "The first 32 teams will fight, followed by the next 32 and so on and so forth until all of you have fought."

Max groans even more at hearing that because it seems like no matter what, he would've been chosen first because the odds were extremely high of being the first group.

Vektor looks back to the screen and reads off the list, "So these are the lucky experiments to be the first group: 628, 600, 624, 284, 145, 248, 541, 485, 514, 428, 458, 415, 057, 154, 548, 075, 482, 009, 451, 507, 090, 148, 570, 418, 564, 184, 418, 550, 045, 505, 055, 355, 065, 081, 405, 650, 051, 553, 492, 015, 180, 056, 535, 450, 249, 605, 286, 054, 501, 294, 060, 540, 560, 108, 504, 456, 429, 510, 150, 018, 105, 546, 506, 465. So will all those lucky ones come on down to the center of the room."

Most of the experiments were laughing, "Woops vs. 628!"

Max sighs, "Why couldn't I gotten a smaller number?"

So the first group follow the order and Max looks around at the other experiments in his group. Max's eyes were shifting around the group, until his eyes landed on Angel's. She looks around and stops when she notices Max's glance and gives a small encouraging smirk to him which causes Max a big smile spreading across his lips. He felt his nervousness diminish slightly, given his situation.

He walks through the group to Angel and rubs the back of his neck, "Um...Angel, I-I just wanna say I'm sorry about yesterday."

Angel smiles, "Youga forgiven. Isa okie-taka, youga were scared and all."

She laughs at him and he lightly laughs, "Heh, yeah."

He extends his paw and smiles, "Well, might as well introduce myself. Hi, I'm Max."

She grabs his paw and shakes it kindly, "Angel."

They release their paws and laugh a little.

He looks back to Vektor and asks, "Doesn't he know our names?

"Naga," she replies, "they think using names confuse them. So call numbers."

"Really?" Max retorts upset.

"Okay now," Vektor orders, "first group line up with your partner!"

The experiments did as they were told and then personnel were lined up against the wall behind Vektor, holding their clipboards and some tech equipment to run some tests. They were all dressed in white lab coats and were heavily observing the experiments. The experiments then all went into their two-person team as the stage they were on was expanding and getting lower.

"Now with the arena more suitable for you," he smiles, "you may fight!"

Max's P.O.V.

I look over to Woops and thought, 'I won't let him beat me easily. I can probably get some hits on him, but I've to remembered that he has all of Stitch's abilities.'

I gulp, 'Just got to make sure not to get too mad.'

I bow to him as I go into a fighting stance while he was picking his nose and looking around. I throw a punch at him, but he manages to dodge it by him falling to his side. He gathers his footing as he turns around and back-fists on the back which resulted in me falling down on my face. I quickly push myself up and look back at Woops as I get to my feet. I try to kick him with a sidekick, but he dodges it again and bumps his body against mine, making me fall again on the floor. I growl as I push myself up this time and look at Woops.

Norm. P.O.V.

Max didn't know that the other experiments were looking at him, in complete shock at how experiment 628 is not even landing one hit on Woops; especially Vektor was intrigued by this.

'Hmm...interesting,' Vektor thought, '628 seems to know how to fight, but it seems like his limbs aren't reaching their target which is why he is spending more time on the floor than standing up. His speed though seems very slow for an experiment almost like he was moving as a... No.' He eyes widen at his hypothesis, 'He's moving as if he was a human, still practically a human being. And so is his accuracy and reflex capabilities are very below par of any standard experiment.'

He looks back to 628, a.k.a. Max, and smirks, 'Oh, this is going to be indeed good.'

Max's P.O.V.

I finally notice that everyone was looking at my fight which angered me because I suspect that they were all mocking and laughing at me, like I was a joke.

I look back to Woops and try to calm myself down.

I breathe, "Okay, charging in is not the best idea."

I state as I somewhat calm myself, "Then I'll let him make a move."

Woops bounces on his feet as he gives me a little smile on his face.

I coax him, "Come on. Come on, try and punch me!"

Woops looks at me with tears brimming his eyes, the pain etched all over his face. "Gaba?"

I sigh annoyed, "Punch me!"

I point to my face, "Right here!"

Woops took a hesitant step toward me. He swung at me weakly, and I leaned back to miss it. I pull my leg up and ready to kick him, but only for Woops to slip and fall under my kick. He lands onto my other foot with his head and I grab it in pain. Woops doubled over in pain, a tiny whimper escaping from his throat as some tears were running down his face.

My ears perk as I heard a guard softly laughing, "This is supposed to be the experiment that's even stronger than 627, a.k.a Evile; so far I'm not impress. He is a hopeless case. He can't even beat Woops in a mock sparring match."

I look as I try to find out who said that and while I had my attention on locating that voice; Woops starts running towards me, without my knowing of it; however, he trips on his own two feet and ends up rolling straight a me. I turn around, only to get hit in the stomach with the full force of Woops as he falls back down onto the ground.

I look back to Woops as my anger grew and then I hear more laughing at our fight. I was getting irked with the laughing and ridicule. I grab my head and mutter, "Stop laughing, stop laughing! Stop it. Stop it."

But the crowd kept laughing, it grew louder and louder. I close my eyes and scream, "Quit laughing at me!"

I open them and a stream of fire flew out of my eyes as it hits a guard on the shoulder which causes him to fall. "Ow!" he cries out as another guard rushes to help him. The second guard helps calm the fire as he went to help his co-worker. The other guard notices that the fire stream went through the protective covering and burn his shoulder, chest and a little bit of his side.

I go down on my knees and grab my head in pain, "I...need...to...calm...down."

I shake my head and try to control my breathing, but it wasn't working.

Norm. P.O.V.

A few guards run towards Max and aim their weapons at him.

"By order of the Grand Councilwoman," the leader shouts, "we're here to detain you. Put your arms up!"

However, Max was too busy with himself to actually notice the head guard and his men.

The leader shouts, "I said put your paws up this instant!"

Max begins to shake his head, "Shut up, shut up, shut up. Shut up!"

He stands up as he shakes and bites his lip; although, the guards still are ready to fire. So Max, unknowingly, levitates off the ground, still trying to calm himself down. He balls his paws, brings his arms to his knees and everyone is silent as they see some few things begin to shake.

Angel looks around and then back to Max. She runs to him, knowing that whatever is going to happen can't be good. "Max!" she calls out, "Max, gaba wrong! Max!"

A guard blocks her, "Sorry miss, but you can't go near him."

Angel pleads, "But meega can help him!"

"No can do," he states as he goes to his com-link, "Initiate containment field and defensive barriers."

All of a sudden Max was encased in this circular laser field while the guard was still ready.

"Stop!" Max hollers as he swings his arms and extends his legs. A telekinetic force pushes them all against the barrier as he disrupts the containment field. Everyone slowly got back up and was shocked by his power. The next thing they knew, they feel the ship start to fall down.

Max's little outburst causes the ship to go out of control because of the power he was unleashing was causing an imbalance in the ship's power core.

A guard warns the Grand Councilwoman, "Ma'am, if we don't control this situation, then there's a chance of us crashing down onto the island and causing several causalities."

She orders, "Then handle this situation! Get Jumba Jookiba!"

He explains, "He is still recovering, ma'am from fixing one of his experiments."

She asks, "Which? Which one?"

He gulps and looks over to the one before them, "That one ma'am. Jumba Jookiba was fixing that one."

She looks at the creature and asks out loud, "Is there anyone that knows about this experiment's weaknesses?"

"I do," they both turn to Vektor. "Jumba and I were trying to fix experiment 628 together. So this is partially my fault, let me help you."

She asks with a sneer, "Why didn't you told us before about this?"

He answers, "Because you would've challenged my reasoning like when I suggested a joint experiment with Jumba Jookiba, but the rest of the Grand Council members gave me the permission to work with him. You want to talk with them?"

She bites her lip before ordering him, "Just fix this problem!"

"Yes ma'am," he salutes her before exiting.

The guard asks, "You okay ma'am?"

She replies, "Far from okay."
