Dean, Roman, Seth and Stephanie wished Chris and Adam good luck. It was time to go down and talk to Vince, Eric, Judy and Mark.

After he'd gone up to tell Adam and Chris to come down, Eric went to the kitchen to help Judy prepare their tea. He assured Adam's mother that he had no fears of being in the kitchen. Judy was impressed, Eric cut slices of cherry cake, better than Paige. Maybe having a title didn't make you helpless.

In the morning room, Vince lit Mark's cigar and poured them each a sip of brandy. They stood when Eric and Judy entered the room with the tea things.

Before tea could be poured, the clock chimed nine. Chris and Adam entered the room.

"Come sit." Eric patted the space next to him on the couch There was plenty of room. Chris and Adam sat, they held each other's hands. Eric poured tea and made sure to serve Judy first.

"Thank you so much, sir. I had no idea you were so talented in the kitchen. He is the one who sliced the cherry cake. Paige could take a lesson." Judy spoke with admiration for Eric in her tone and eyes.

Adam took the cup of tea and slice of cherry cake Eric handed him. "Thank you, Your Grace. I am not surprised, Mother. After all, as the Master of the house he would know about such things… oh… oh… I meant no disrespect, Your Grace." He'd forgotten. They weren't with the siblings. Adam had to remember his place.

Eric smiled at Adam as he served Chris. "Not offended in the least, dear boy. You're right, not everyone is fortunate to have a cook as wonderful as your mother. I can remember, my first formal dinner with my first husband, the cook nearly served mint sauce, instead of dill sauce with fish! If I didn't know anything about the kitchen or cooking, it would have been a disaster. Every good Master or Mistress of the house should know the kitchen, inside and out." As Eric spoke, he'd served everyone their tea and cake.

Judy laughed lightly. "He is absolutely right. As you will know, Your Grace is most welcome in the kitchen any time. Oh and remind me, to write down the receipt for my cherry cake. Duke Bret loves it so, but their cook doesn't have a good receipt."

Adam finished his tea and cake at the same time as Chris. He gave Chris a look of anxious fear. Were they going to get to the point? Chris smiled and knew what was on Adam's mind. He took hold of Adam's hand again and held it tight. Everyone of their movements and looks were carefully observed by Duke Vincent McMahon.

Vince spoke. "Alright, to brass tacks. We want to hear from the two of you, about this situation." He looked at Chris and Adam.

Eric sighed with a bit of an eye roll. "Dear, you could have chosen a better word. It isn't a situation, it is their lives. However, we do want to hear from both of you, about how you feel. We will also say, Adam, speak freely and openly. Forget for a moment that we have titles. Speak to us as the parents of the man you love. We do not bite, I promise." He gave Adam a warm smile.

Chris looked at Adam. "I will go first if you want. If it will make you feel better." He gave Adam's hand a squeeze.

Adam shook his head. "No, I'll speak. I heard everything Dean, Roman, Seth and Stephanie said. I love you, Chris. Our love is worth fighting for. Yes, it might be hard at times. Yes, it might be different for my family if my situation changes, but they love me and want my happiness. Just as much as I want them to be happy. What I want, is to be with you, stand by you, help you when I can, take care of you when I can't. All I want is to love you, make you happy and just… just… live." He spoke with all the love and adoration he had and felt for Chris.

Vince let out his distinct, low chuckle. "Well, son. I think you said it, very well, I might add. Christopher, would you like to add to what Adam said?"

Chris smiled at Adam with a wink. He found it so adorable when Adam ducked his head with a flush on his cheeks. He gave said flushed cheek a chaste kiss.

Chris turned to face not only his parents, but Judy and Mark as well. He took a very deep breath and tightened his grip on Adam's hand.

"I feel the exact same way as Adam. Nothing on this earth means more to me than Adam's love, or my love for him. As he said, we know it will be difficult at times. Mister Calaway, Missus Copeland, we know it will be hard, especially for Jason. It would help if you hired someone to take Adam's place. That way, Jason won't have to serve at table very often. If this turns out the way I hope, I want to marry Adam, as soon as possible…" He paused when Adam let out a gasp of surprise.

"I… you… marry… me? I… I… thought… maybe one day… but… oh… I want that too, but… I didn't dare… to hope… Oh Chris, I love you!" Adam completely forgot himself and fell into Chris' arms and kissed him soundly.

They broke apart when Mark sharply cleared his throat. Chris still held Adam close as the blond blushed in his arms. "Well, Your Graces, any further questions?" Mark asked, brow arched.

Vince again chuckled. "Not from me. But you know that their love for one another was never the real question. I can see that they love one another, but it is enough to over come the problems? It will be talked about, a footman with a Lord. I'm not sure either of you are aware how bad it could be. Are you prepared for gossip, sometimes vicious gossip? They will say, footman out for money and a title. Or they will say, Lord of the house had to marry because he got the footman into trouble. You know what I mean by that. Before either of you explode, we know this is not the case. We know Adam isn't after anything and we know Chris is a gentleman. All four of us just want the two of you to be very aware of what may happen… will happen. Are you willing to put up with it? Can you put up with it? Chris, my son, are you truly prepared to protect Adam? If you have any doubts, any at all, now is the time. I will not have the scandal of a divorce on top of it, because that will only add to Adam marrying you for money and a title. Have you two really thought about it?" Vince ended with a deep sip of tea.

Judy spoke up. "Before either of you answer, I want to say something. Adam, if this is truly what you want, and you and Lord Christopher do marry one day, then, I would be proud to call you Milord. Nothing, not even a title will change the fact that you are my son. I will still take you too the woodshed if you need it…" She paused as everyone laughed. She took a last sip of her tea, then Judy continued.

"Jason has also said he will support you, as you know. I want to make sure you heard everything His Grace said. Do you love each other enough to stand against the bigotry of society? I do… well, Mark and I both agree, if and when the time comes, a new footman will be hired. Lord Chris, I would love to have you in the family. I want to know Adam will be protected, no matter how difficult it might become. We, as your parents, can sit here and talk until we are blue in the face. Until we know, one hundred percent, you are absolutely sure you love each other enough to stand together. Did I say it right, Mark?" She looked at the man she loved and depended on, and needed, especially now.

Mark smiled at Judy. "Yes, you put it very well, my dear. We have all talked till we're blue in the face. We just need the final…" Mark was interrupted when the morning room door opened.

Roman, Seth, Dean and Stephanie came in. Mark moved to stand behind Judy and indicated for Lady Stephanie to sit in the chair he'd vacated. She sat as her brothers stood around her.

Eric's brow arched. "Well, I take it you all have something to say on the matter?"

They looked to Roman, the eldest, to speak. "We came here to tell you, we support Chris and Adam. We also know it will be hard for them at times, especially if there is a large dinner party. As we told Adam and Chris earlier, we will stand as a… shield of protection for them. We have all witnessed the love they have for one another. If you keep them apart, it would break their hearts." Roman spoke firmly and confirmed how the all felt.

Both Chris and Adam smiled at Roman and gave a look of thanks to the siblings. "Thank you, very much It means everything to me, that you support Chris and I." Adam spoke softly and still held on to Chris' hand. Chris leaned over and kissed his temple.

Eric smiled at his children. "I am happy that all of you support your brother and Adam. They are going to need it. Chris, is this what you want?"

"More than anything, poppa. I've tried going out with others, but every time I did, I never felt any feelings for them. Every time I saw Adam, my heart pounded faster and my palms begin to sweat. I started looking at him, I knew he was the one for me. One day, I saw Adam look at me, our souls sang together. It just… happened. We know we belong to one another. I will do all I can to protect Adam, just as I know Adam will do all he can to protect me. Besides, I know you and father won't tolerate anyone saying anything. You are more progressive than most. Love can and will conquer all." Chris spoke to his poppa Eric with all his confidence and love for Adam.

Vince nodded in agreement. "Yes, I can control what happens in this house. I can not stop what is said after they leave the house. One thing may help. The news from our friends in Germany is not good. People are more concerned with that than, shall we say, the social graces. I am also proud of you four for so strongly supporting your brother and Adam. There is another thing to consider. What about little Shane. You boys know the bullying that goes on. Despite how hard Headmaster Barrett tries to stop the bullying, it still happens." Vince's face was carved with deep worry. He knew how bad it could be. He ashamedly remembered times, as an upper house student, he bullied younger students. That was why he was more progressive now, because he knew how wrong he had been.

Adam looked at Vince. "We talked about that, Your Grace. Shane's siblings have assured me that he knows how to handle bullies. They also said, as a Head Boy, he won't be bullied as much. I am worried about it, Your Grace. I would hate for any harm to come to Shane, because of me. However, what lesson does it teach if the bullies and snobbish people in the world win. If Chris and I can't be together, because of fear of being called out…" Adam couldn't finish his thought, it made him too sad. His hazel eyes filled with tears.

Chris once again wrapped Adam in his arms. Adam curled into him, it was where he felt the safest. "Enough. Father, poppa, Mister Calaway, Missus Copeland, I have reached a decision. It does not matter what you say. Adam and I will be married. We will go live in the cottage Lady Mayfield has offered to us. Adam, you will come with me, won't you?" He looked at Adam with hope.

Adam looked at Chris and nodded. "Yes, I will. All want is to be happy. You make me happy." He meant what he said.

Chris stood. "Then let us go. We've done nothing but talk about it. We know it will be difficult at times. It is worth it. Sometimes, I wonder if love is worth fighting for. Then I look at Adam, and I am ready for war." He took Adam by the hands to help him stand. He was through. No amount of talk was going to change anything.

Adam stood. As much as the thought of leaving his mother and brother frightened him, a life without Christopher frightened him more. Something caught Adam's eye as he glanced at Mark. The man gave him a sly wink and a look that told Adam everything would be alright.

Duke Vincent Kennedy McMahon stood. He took a few steps to stand in front of Chris and Adam. Adam couldn't stop himself, he moved to stand behind Chris. Not as a servant, but because Duke McMahon was frightfully imposing.

"Calm down, both of you. You don't have to leave, unless you want to break your poppa's heart, and your mother's…" He looked from Chris to Adam. He smiled, Adam was adorable in the way he clung to Chris for protection.

Chris stood tall and looked his father directly in the eye. "No, sir. I don't and neither does Adam. But, if that what's it takes for us to be married, the so be it. You can either accept our marriage or not, that is up to the four of you. I am going to marry Adam, no matter what. Discussion over."

Vince put his hands on Chris' shoulders. "Christopher Keith Irvine Jericho McMahon, stop! If you would let me speak, you might actually learn something. You and Adam have our permission to marry. We, as your parents simply wanted to make sure you knew the difficulties you could have. We are convinced that the two of you will handle things just fine. Now, Adam will have to help show the new footman the way things are done. However, from this moment on, he is your fiance. Adam, you can move into the room next to Chris. You and Chris can decide if you will continue to work, but, Calaway, I would prefer he not serve at table. Eric, you'd better call the agency tomorrow." Vince gave a chuckle and sat down.

Chris gently pushed Adam back down on the leather sofa. Chris went down on one knee at Adam's feet. He pulled something out of his coat pocket. He took Adam's hands in his.

"Adam Joseph Copeland, would you do me the honor of becoming my husband?" Chris slipped at ring over the tip of Adam's left ring finger. The ring was a narrow band of silver. The stone was a round sapphire, surrounded by tiny diamonds. It was elegant, but still manly. It was the perfect choice.

Adam's eyes filled with emotion. "I guess after all this, it would be rather rude of me to say no. So yes, oh yes! I will marry you! Oh how I love you, Chris." Adam's tears fell as Chris slipped the ring onto his finger. As the newly engaged couple kissed, Vince, Eric, Roman, Seth, Dean, Stephanie, Judy and Mark, applauded politely.

Mark stood and whispered to Judy. She gave him a nod, the Butler stepped out of the room.

Chris and Adam were hugged and hands shook, by, Roman, Seth and Dean. Stephanie kissed her brother and Adam. Eric also hugged and kissed the couple, and Vince shook their hands firmly.

Judy was the last to hug the couple. It was hard to tell who cried more, Adam or his mother. "Oh son, you're going to be so happy. Jason is going to be happy for you as well. Chris, my dear boy, welcome to the family, such as it is. I love you both." Judy again hugged and kissed Adam and Chris.

Mark returned. He'd gone down to the wine cellar to get a bottle of champagne. He also brought the tray of champagne flutes. When he popped the cork, everyone let out a little cheer.

Mark poured glasses for everyone, himself and Judy as well. He cleared his throat to quieten the room. He raised his glass and spoke.

"To Lord Christopher and Adam. May your marriage be blessed with nothing but love and happiness. To love!" "To love!" The others chorused. Everyone took a sip of the bubbly liquid.

Vince then raised his glass. "To Chris and Adam. I too wish you love and happiness. I can't wait for more grandchildren. To Chris and Adam." "To Chris and Adam" came the next chorus and sips.

Roman also raised his glass. "Chris, you may not be my brother by blood, but you are a brother of my heart. Now, Adam joins our brotherhood. To brothers and a lovely sister." Everyone again responded and sipped.

Chris spoke, one arm around Adam's waist. "Thank you, all of you. We know we will have some hard times, but knowing that we have the support of all of you helps. Poppa, let me talk to Lady Mayfield. There is a young man, in training to be an under Butler. He would be excellent to take Adam's place. You'd be helping one of the former orphans. Would you be willing? Mark, what about you?" Chris looked from Eric to Calaway.

Eric looked at Mark. The Butler gave a nod. "Alright, son. Arrange for him to come see me. I would be glad to help one of Lady Mayfield's children."

"Thank you, poppa. Adam you met him, Cody, remember?" Chris looked at his now fiance.

Adam smiled. "Oh yes, I remember. He will get along with Jason. I will enjoy helping him learn how to do things. Also, I want to thank all of you for your love and support. With Chris and all of you behind us, we will get through anything." He spoke with all the love he felt for everyone.

Eric again looked over at Mark. He quietly spoke. "Might as well tell your news." He winked.

"If I could have everyone's attention for one more moment." Mark spoke over the din of chatter in the morning room.

Everyone turned and looked at Mark. Adam also noticed, his mother had a look in her eyes.

"Adam, everyone, Their Graces have so generously agreed, Judy and I may marry. Would you be in agreement with that, Adam?" Mark asked with a love filled smile.

Adam looked at his mother "Oh ma! That's wonderful! Yes, I am in total agreement."

"So am I!" Jason stated as he entered the morning room Mark had left a note for him to come up when he got back with the girls.

More champagne was poured. Everyone congratulated the Cook and Butler, like they were old family friends. For the moment, in the McMahon morning room, there were no titles and they were all on equal standing. It was nice.

Jason and Adam kissed their mother. "I know what this means to you, ma. You deserve it. I am so happy for you." Jason beamed and kissed his mother again.

Judy hugged her eldest. "Thank you, son. It does mean the world to me. Have you seen your brother's ring?" She reached over and grabbed Adam by the left hand. Adam laughed.

Jason took a close look. "It is beautiful. Congratulations, Addy. I wish you nothing but happiness, Milord." Jason gave Adam a cheeky wink.

Adam laughed, but pulled Jason aside. "Are you really alright with Chris and I?"

Jason put his hands on Adam's shoulders. "Yes, brother. I am. I am honestly happy for you. I wish you nothing but the best. Honestly, I am also thrilled for ma. She has wanted this for a long time. They thought they would have to wait till they retired." He squeezed Adam's shoulders.

"Thank you, brother. I am so pleased for ma and Mark. They are going to hire someone to replace me. If it works out, you will like him. His name is Cody and he's training as an under butler at the orphanage. Trust me, you and he will get along famously." Adam explained as the rejoined the others.

The celebration continued until the clock on the mantel chimed eleven times. Adam told Chris he was going downstairs to help finish up for the night.

"Alright, darling. I will come up and say goodnight. I want to tell poppa more about Cody. I love you, Adam." Chris pulled his fiance up for a kiss.

"I love you, Chris. It hasn't hit me yet. I can't believe we are going to be married. Go talk, I will be up in an hour or so." Adam returned Chris' kiss.

It wasn't long before Adam was hugged and kissed by his "sisters", Paige, Becky and Beth. They also nearly pulled his arm out of its socket trying to look at his engagement ring.

Judy and Mark laughed as they sat in their comfortable chairs. "I will go to the bank tomorrow and get mother's ring. I put it in my vault. If I would have known, I would have gotten it today I also hope you don't mind that I took advantage of the situation, but I thought, why not." Mark sat up in his chair and spoke softly. The younger ones were still in the kitchen.

Judy reached over, she could just reach Mark's knee. "I do not mind. I am so happy, Mark. We've waited so long. I remember your mother's ring. I will be honored to wear it. We can go to the registry office, just the four of us, or five, if Adam asks Chris. We can let the girls give a little wedding party. I love you so much, Mark." Judy spoke with tears in her eyes.

Mark got up and gave Judy a soft kiss. "Hey, none of that until you are married, young lady." Jason teased as he and Adam came into the room.

"I think kissing is alright, Jay. I mean I kiss Chris, so I can't be a hypocrite." Adam gave his mother a wink and sat in his chair.

Jason sat in his chair. "I suppose you are right. All this love in the air, maybe it's time to talk seriously to Maxwell. We aren't ready to marry, but I am ready to be fully committed to him. Beth was telling me about a newfangled thing called a promise ring. It is a promise to exchange it for an engagement ring later. Maybe I will look into it. I have quite a bit saved up. What do you think?" He looked at his family.

"I think it is a fine idea, son. Maxwell is a wonderful young man. You have your right to be happy with the person you love. I also think it's wise to wait for marriage until you are both ready. I like the idea of a promise ring. I wish I had a ring to give you, but I never had one." Judy smiled at her son. She was happy for him.

Adam spoke. "I agree with ma, Jay. I like Maxwell and he doesn't put up with your antics." He playfully stuck his tongue out at his brother.

Jason stuck his tongue out at Adam. "Wait till I tell Chris all about you! Ma, get ready, because Chris will call off the wedding once I get done telling him about baby brothers girly habits. An hour in the water closet on bath day! What do you do in there? I bet you're a naughty boy."

Adam's mouth fell open. "Jason! Don't you dare say anything to Chris! I am a good boy! Mark! Help!" Adam was truly worried. That kind of teasing could lead to trouble?

Mark started to reprimand Jason, but Jason stopped him. He got up and went to his little brother. Jason knelt at Adam's feet.

"I am sorry, Addy. I was teasing you. I shouldn't have been so cheeky. I love you, Addy. I am honestly and sincerely happy for you. I can't wait for the day when I am Uncle Jason. You and Chris will make beautiful babies. Can Maxwell and I be godparents?" Jason spoke with brotherly love.

Adam hugged Jason hard. "I am sorry too, Jaybird. I shouldn't have teased you. I'm really happy for you too. Maxwell is a great fellow. You two will make pretty babies too. You can be Godparents as long as Chris and I can be for your children." He frowned when Jason frowned.

"Addy, Maxwell… we won't have children. Max got thrown from a horse many years ago. It… well… he can't have children. I'm not a carrier either. It doesn't matter, it just what it is." Jason gave a shrug. It had taken him a long time to convince Maxwell it didn't matter about not having children.

Adam hugged Jason again. "I am sorry, Jay. Hey, you could always adopt. Lady Mayfield has a whole house full of wonderful children who need parents, like you and Maxwell." He gave Jason another hug.

"You know, that's an idea. We will talk about it." Jason went back to his chair.

When the girls finished in the kitchen, Mark sent everyone up to bed. It was much later than usual and morning still came early. Mark gave Judy a love filled kiss and sent her up to her room.

Adam laughed softly when he opened the door to his room. Chris laid on his bed and read a book Adam had left on his nightstand.

Chris looked up. "No wonder they loved this story. What a fantastic book." He put down the copy of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." Chris sat up and indicated for Adam to sit next to him on the bed.

Adam sat next to his future husband and giggled when Chris pulled him in for a deep kiss. After a few minutes and several kisses, the couple broke apart.

"Is this real? Are we really getting married?" Adam asked in a childlike voice. Almost as if he were afraid it were a dream.

Chris tucked the stray strand of Adam's hair behind his ear. "You asked me that before. Yes, it is real and yes, we are going to get married. So are your mother and Mark. I am happy for them. After what you told me, I know your mother deserves the happiness. So when do you want to get married? It will take a bit of time to plan. We have to do it right." He pulled Adam in closer and kissed his temple.

Adam nodded. "I am very happy for ma and Mark. I know we have to do it right. You're the son of a Duke. It scares me, Chris. I don't want to bring any shame on your family. They didn't have to support us. You will help me, won't you? I can't plan our wedding alone." He spoke with deep concern on his face, and in his tone of voice.

"Of course I will help you, darling. We all will. It took the entire family to get Roman and Seth married. Did you know you will get to wear the McMahon coronet? Well, it is more of a circlet, but it is beautiful. It's in our bank vault. There is also a diamond tiara for Stephanie, if she ever decides to marry. It's going to be alright, darling. I promise. Do you think your mother would bake our cake?" Chris spoke in a soft, calm voice. Adam had to know it would be alright.

Adam relaxed a bit. "Good. They will all know what to do. I would only want ma to bake our cake. She makes wonderful fruit cake. I will ask her tomorrow. How about July twenty ninth? That's a Tuesday. Tuesdays have always been lucky for me. But if you want a different day, say so. It is your wedding too. We only get one, so it has to be right."

Chris chuckled. "July twenty ninth, eleven o'clock, you will become Lord Adam Copeland-Jericho-McMahon. I can't wait. I want to see you in a white tuxedo. We will start tomorrow. Ride out with me to see Cody?"

Adam shrugged. "I feel funny… I need to do my share of the work. I will ask Mark. Do you understand, love?" Adam felt neither fully upstairs, but he also didn't feel fully downstairs now. Adam felt like an in-between, and wasn't even sure about that.

Chris smiled. "Yes, dearest. I can understand. When Cody comes to work, you will feel better. I also want to buy you a proper horse. Jason can help with that. The horse market will happen soon. Too bad Misty's foal is too young." Chris spoke in a thoughtful tone.

"I want a Buckskin. Highflyer is so handsome. Buy the way, where will the wedding be? Surely not Westminster Abby." Adam was suddenly scared. There would be so many people at their wedding.

Chris chuckled. "No love, not the Abby. Saint Peter's of course, our parish Church. Don't worry, poppa will keep it under control, no more than one hundred fifty to two hundred guests. Only a very select few will come to the reception. Even if the reception is here, it will be catered. That means others will cook and serve. Your family will be guests. Were you worried about that? That your family would rush home from our wedding to serve? Oh darling, poppa would never allow that. I would never allow it. On our wedding day, your mother will be treated the same as if she were a Duchess. It's exciting about your mother and Mark. I would love to be there when they marry… if you want me there that is."

Adam relaxed a bit more. "Yes, I was worried, a bit. I should have know you wouldn't have my family serve our reception. The girls either, Chris. I would love to have you take me to ma and Mark's wedding, you are their family now too, you know. Saint Peter's is perfect. I love going there at Christmas and Easter." He laid his head on Chris' shoulder and wrapped his hands around Chris' upper arm.

Chris kissed the top of Adam's head. "After I, or we, depending, come back from the orphanage tomorrow, I will help you move your things to the room next to mine. After we're married, we will turn your room into our sitting room."

Adam looked up at Chris. But, until we are married, the adjoining door stays locked. I will not have anyone thinking… bad thoughts. Do you understand? It's bad enough you're being up here. Chris… what will your friends say? Will they really accept me? Not think… I am after your title and money? I'm not worried about your family or even Duke Hart's family… it's everyone else. Chris, I will do my best to make you proud but… I wasn't raised to it like you were. I will depend on you to help me with the proper social etiquette. I'm likely to get up and start clearing the table. Oh Chris… maybe… maybe we should wait… a year or so. Give people a chance to get to know me." His worry and nerves were back… full force.

Chris moved to gently cradle Adam's face in his hands. "No, darling. We will not wait a year, July is far enough away. My friends are like me. I don't have many, I pick them carefully. Don't worry, I will be right next to you. You know how things work, you will be alright. Tell you what, if you get up to clear the table, I will help. It will be just fine. The Hart's will be happy. I hope Dean will propose to Kenny soon. Goodness, wedding after wedding." He ended with a laugh.

"That's why I love you so much. I guess… I have loved you from afar for so long. The way you looked at me sometimes made me wish you felt the same. Joke on me, I guess. Sorry, I tend to babble on at times. I'm just so happy." Adam sighed with contentment.

Chris laughed softly. "I have loved you for a long time too. We wasted time. We could have been married with a baby by now. Well love, I'd better go. You can let me know about the orphanage. It's alright if you don't go. I do understand. I love you, darling." Chris pulled Adam in for a deep kiss.

Adam responded with a soft moan. When the kiss finally broke before he spoke. "I love you."

With a bit of reluctance, Chris got up and left Adam's bedroom. He closed the door behind him.

It wasn't long before Adam was snuggled into his bed. He laid their as his mind raced. He was so happy and so in love with Chris. Adam was also very happy for his mother and Mark. They did deserve to be happy after all they had been through. Adam was also glad he and Mark had talked He was proud to have the man be his step father. Adam also hoped things worked out for Jason and Maxwell. Jason also deserved to be happy.

Adam knew, with Chris by his side, everything would be alright. Yes, the would face some society issues, but together, they would be alright… at least he hoped.
