Beacon was right in front of him, After a incredibly harsh journey VIA Bullhead, Jaune has finally touched down at Vale with barely two days before the Applications deadline. Hurrying to the post office he had just barely summited his own Application in time for a chance at Beacon
"Beacon... Wonder what will happen if I get in" Jaune wondered to himself as he scrolled places to store his RRA suit, There wasn't anything wrong with having RRA in public because the Armor was built in a way to be Slender enough to fit into buildings yet still able to provide Pilots with protection and incredible strength that would otherwise be impossible, Which is also why wearing a RRA in public was asking for trouble as one wrong move meant a lawsuit coming your way
"How would I know ROMAN TOR- oof" A girl was interrupted when she bumped into his armor and while she bounced right off the armor and fell onto her rear, Jaune was perfectly fine and immediately started to panic as he turned to see a blond and red haired girl staring at him
"So sorry, Are you okay?" Jaune nervously asked as the red-haired girl nodded and climbed to her feet while the blond continued to glare at him, Quickly disembarking the RRA and out into the fresh air, The two stared in surprise as Jaune ordered the RRA into Standby
"Anyways, Sorr-" this time it was him who was interrupted as the girl who he had tripped over by complete accident, rushed up to him with stars sparkling in her eyes while she started to ask question about his RRA and SEM, Things that he barely caught on to before the blonde dragged her friend back
"Sorry about my sister, She gets excited whenever she sees an Hunter" The blonde explained with a guilty chuckle as Jaune's eyes widened ever so slightly, Sisters? Jaune thought as his eyes flickered between the two to find any similarity between the two supposed sister
"Same dad, Step-sisters" The blonde quickly explained, almost as if she sensed his confusion or rather seen his confused expression as Jaune quickly apologized before the Red-haired girl escaped her sister's grip and went back up to Jaune
"Hey, I'm Ruby. That is my sister Yang" Ruby introduced herself and Yang, who gave him a wave as he waved back before he turned his attention back to Ruby who stared at his RRA, her eyes flickering across the Hunter before turning back to Jaune
"Your RRA is kind of outdated" Ruby stated flatly as Jaune winced, He wasn't exactly built with money even if his father was well known and he had to scavenge a lot of his Hunter parts from scrapyards, in fact majority of the RRA was taken from the scrapyard with only the bare minimum being built with his own hands
"yeah, it's what I have though but enough of that. any chance you know where I can place my RRA?" Jaune asked as Yang nodded and pointed him down the street with a quick Scroll search before the two sisters waved him goodbyes and the three went their own separate ways
What a quirky duo, Wonder if I'm going to see them again Jaune thought to himself as he made his way down the street with his RRA, ignoring the looks that people threw at his Armor
"Look, for the last time, You can't just allow someone in becaus-"

"OZPIN YOU FUCKING-"
"Jaune?" A familiar voice called out as Jaune turned around to see Ruby, He tried to give off a confident lean but only ended up whimpering and bracing himself against the side of the airship, The large Aircraft lurching and vibrating with loud roaring from the engine deafening majority of conversations. In fact if it wasn't for the proximity transmissions of the Comms for RRA outside of combat, Jaune probably would have missed Ruby calling his name
"Airsick?" Yang asked sympathetically as Jaune nodded, wave after wave of nausea crashed into him as the aircraft tilted left and right all the while his lunch threaten to come back out the way it came in, Jaune groaned as another heavy wave hit him while Yang looked at her poor blonde with pity
"We are almost there Jaune, hold on" Ruby added helpfully as Jaune nodded weakly but the motion proved to be too much as Jaune ripped off his helmet and spew chunks over the side and into the ocean, drawing a few grimaces and expression of disgust from the two sister and many passerby's
"Sorry..." Jaune apologized as he wiped his chin before placing the helmet back on, The two sister just looked at him sympathetically as the Airship finally landed onto Beacon and the potential students began to file of the airship, Many of them creating a wide berth around Jaune as he walked by
"Well, That's a thing anywaysimgoingtohangoutwithmyfriendokbyeloveyou" Yang said before she disappeared into the crowd of what Ruby thinks was her friends before she realized that Yang had practically abandoned her and she had no idea where Jaune was and Jaune was the only other person she knew on Beacon
"wai- wha- HEY YANG WAIT U- oof" Ruby was again cut off as she ran into another person and fell to her rear for the second time that week I gotta stop bumping into people like this Ruby thought before she looked at the person she had ran into and it was another girl in a beautiful white Hunter that just screamed royalty
"ugh, Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?" The girl asked as Ruby fumbled with her words, Her mind too occupied between trying to apologize and trying to admire the Armor that the girl in front of her was wearing, unfortunately, the helmet seemed to be missing and the RRA remained uncomplete much to Ruby's disappointment
"Seriously, There could have been damage to our RRA, dust reserves, The school ground" The girl listed off and with each thing added to the list Ruby shrunk in on herself, feeling guiltier by the second all the while the girl in front of her seemed to grow smugger and smugger
"ugh, Who lets a child onto Beacon ground? and with RRA no less? this has to be a mistake" The girl offhandedly remarked as Ruby frowned, She might have been younger than the average participants but that should at least testify to her level a skill, Ruby Rose was not a mistake and she would prove it
"Do you even know who I am?" The girl asked and anything Ruby wanted to say died at the tip of her tongue, her brain completely shut down as she desperately tried to remember the name of the supposedly famous girl in front of her as her face twisted into a deeper scowl
"Weiss Schnee, heiress to the SDC company and one of the biggest producer of dust along with RRAs" Another voice interrupted the argument as both girls turned their head towards the new speaker who was cladded in an all black RRA
"Finally, Someone who recognize me" Weiss said with a small smile as Ruby flinched, She had just bumped with an incredibly famous person that could sue her to hell and back for fun, however Weiss's smile was quickly wiped from her face when the newcomer started to speak again and Ruby focused on the conversation
"The very same company that exploits their workers and have horrendous worker treatment, I heard it even put some of the CEOs in yellow dog contracts" The newcomer taunted as Weiss seethed before she stormed off, The butlers hurrying after her but not before giving the two an apologetic bow as Ruby turned to the newcomer, only to see that she was gone and walking in the opposite direction
"Welcome to Beacon" Ruby muttered dejectedly as she laid there, the cores in her Hunter whirring quietly as if reflecting it's owner's mood before another set of humming. A heavier set of Cores, Ruby craned her head to see a familiar shadow blocking out the sun
"Hey Ruby"
"PILOTS, MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION" The headmaster of Beacon, Ozpin [redacted], announced as everyone turned their head towards the man and hopefully their headmaster as he prepared his speech for the next generation
"For years you have trained, For years you have learned and improved and For years you dreamed of having the chance to attend this school. And now you efforts have paid off as you are here for the initiation of the Beacon academy and all of your effort will determine if you will enter this academy" Ozpin started as the crowd buzzed with excitement
"And you will get your chance tomorrow, For now rest up" Ozpin finished as everyone cheered for the rather short speech, it was no speech but rather an encouraging rally for the young pilots, Jaune cracked his neck as he wonder how his home-made RRA will hold up
"Hey Jauney-boy, How's it Yanging?" The familiar voice snapped him out of his pondering as he turned to Yang with a shrug before he realizes what the blonde in front of him had just said
"Yanging? Seriously?" Jaune asked as Yang stared at him with a bright smile, a small snort escaped him at the ridiculousness of the pun, it was almost like he was here with his little sister before he turned to see a horrified Ruby Rose
"did you... Yang... oh no..." The traumatized sister stared silently as Yang started to giggle, the giggle turned into laughter, the laughter turned into a calamity that would be known as the Punny Massacre of Beacon. None was left sane after that day
(The Next Day)
"in for a penny, In for a Pound" Jaune hyped himself up as he stepped into the back of a bullhead, His very own to transport him into the forest along with fifty other participants, He would need to find another student to be paired up with and along with them beat at least fourteen other pairs in order to qualify into Beacon and become a student
"Trainee 0-1-5, We are approaching the LZ. Good luck and Good Hunting" The bullhead pilot wished as Jaune took in a deep breath before running out the back and started to plummet down into the Emerald forest, Jaune's eyes flickered between the altitude and Speed meters on his HUD as he fell and just before he reached the altitude of 2500 meters
"Divert wind Dust into Thruster A1 and A2, Half reserve" Jaune ordered as he felt the immediate slowing in his descent before he tucked and rolled in a perfect textbook maneuver, Out of sheer instinct, Jaune drew his sword and scanned the nearby area. His HUD automatically creating several routes before displaying but he ignored it
"Need to find someone, otherwise it wouldn't matter" Jaune reminded himself and began to make his way through the forest, Luckily, not running into any grimms but also not any potential partners, That was until he heard gunshots and immediately made his way towards the sound of fighting
"Another RRA in the vicinity" His AI confirmed his hope as he immediately stumbled upon his Partner and Joined the battle, Firing off a few shots from his cannon destroyed a few Beowolves and caused the RRA to turn it's head towards him in an almost surprised fashion before it was caught in the torso by a claw, Jaune winced as he rushed in to help the RRA before he realized that they had killed the last Beowolf while getting hit
"So, I'm guessing you are my partner?" A feminine Voice asked as he took his time to take in the Hunter that was standing in front of him, Her Armor was bulky yet still seemed to hug her hourglass figure and presented itself as slender, The Hunter was painted in Red so crimson that one could have mistaken it for blood and Bronze that resembled the actual metal itself, Something that would have fooled Jaune if it wasn't for the Hunter needing to be Steel to prevent damage from the Grimms
The colors should have been dull and monotone but it was so vibrant that Jaune almost couldn't believe his eyes and her helmet was one of a kind with her visor and helmet resembling Mistral soldier from the war with engravings that heavily supported that theory when paired with the RRA, Jaune was so deeply mesmerized by her incredible Hunter to the point he almost couldn't answer her question
"I guess I am" Jaune replied after finding his voice and stepping out of his RRA, His AI instantly setting it to guard mode with his new partner doing the same, Her AI seemed much more developed as it's visor pointed at him immediately after she disembarked
"Jaune Arc, Pleasure to meet you?" Jaune greeted his partner and tried to be as polite as possible, The girl in front of him was stunning and drop dead gorgeous, Red hair that could have been mistaken for flames with how vibrant it was and the way it flows in the wind. Jaune could go on but it was no time to fantasize about her
"...Pyrrha Nikos, Nice to meet you Jaune" Pyrrha shook his hand as the duo gave each other a smile before embarking onto their individual RRA and made their way towards the Ruins where the artifacts would hopefully wait for them
