60: Cantriping your Way to Success
Fanfic or Original

You find yourself in a massive junkyard with the complete knowledge of the foundations of any one tech base of your desire, and the knowledge that study and growth will gradually unlock the rest; eight cantrips (Thaumaturgy and Prestidigitation cost two slots each) of your choice with unlimited castings that draw from a limited mana pool (grows with use, but you will only be able to cast about one cantrip an hour at the start) but have no material costs or spellcasting modifier (other costs can be gotten around with practice), that must include Blade Ward (defense), Minor Illusion (concealment), True Strike (offense), and Virtue (healing; effect adds 1d4 HP instead of temporary HP), but the spells you choose will grow stronger and more versatile with time and use; and complete ownership of the junkyard, as well as an in-world, perfectly disinteresting ID, including living costs for the next three months in a bank account you know how to access and no outstanding bills.

This world DOES have powered people, but is not overly fond of them (DC during a rejection phase, Overwatch, Marvel during a mutant rejection period or the Sokovian Accords, Worm, the Steelheart series, etc.), and people finding out you have powers can end badly if you are not strong or established enough. You are protected from interest for those same three months, and all your most severe handicaps are gone, as well as being tuned up to be minorly athletic, fit, and as strong as a person doing your job should be.

Other than that, you have knowledge equal to someone of your position in this world, including pop culture. While you aren't a tech genius, you do own a junk yard, so you are familiar with the workings of most common techs, as well as a firm understanding of contemporary vehicle science. Anyone who would normally have an illegal or forceful interest in your business will be delayed for three months, and you will find that your trade will be precisely average for this time. What will you do?
