Author's Note: Hey, everybody! As promised, this fanfic as well as the other fanfics in my Young Avengers series, have been updated with one additional chapter each.

First of all, I apologize for keeping everyone waiting. I know you were all eager for me to present these updates, and I had planned to upload them sooner, but there was a technical issue which set me back a couple of days, so I've been working tirelessly this past week in order to get this done before July 10. At last, I am done. Now, this was a rush job, so please forgive me if I make a few errors.

Now, I have a special message for this specific fanfic. I'd like to give a big thanks to a fan, jebens1, who not only requested much of the dialogue in this chapter, but also did fanart of my Young Avengers series, including the ending scene here.

I hope all that's been settled. Enjoy this chapter. Any and all comments are welcome.

It was another day at the Mystery Shack. Soos was working, Wendy was lazing around, Kamala was reading the newspaper, Dipper was reading his journal, and Mabel was playfully spinning on top of a globe.

"Mabel, do you believe in ghosts?" Dipper asked.

"I believe you're a big dork." Mabel responded with a laugh. Dipper retaliated by pressing his pencil on the globe making her fall off.

"What do you think, Kamala?" Dipper asked.

"Well, in the world of superheroes, anything is possible." Kamala answered. "From aliens to magic, there's no such thing as impossible."

Just then, Stan entered the shack from outside. "Soos, Wendy, Kamala, I'm heading out. You three are gonna wash the bathrooms, right?"

"Yes, sir." Soos said.

"Absolutely not." Wendy said.

"Guess that leaves the girls' room to me." Kamala said.

"All right. Stay out of trouble." Stan said before finally leaving the shack.

"Hey, guys. What's this?" Wendy asked heading to the corner of the store where a circle of curtains awaited until she opened them. She revealed a ladder. "A secret ladder to the roof?"

"Uh, I don't think Mr. Pines would like that." Soos said with uncertainty.

"Huh?" Wendy asked waving her hand out in front of her.

"Uh…" Soos responded unsure of how to respond.

"Huh?" Wendy repeated with the same gesture.

"You're freaking me out, dude!" Soos said.

"What's up on the roof, Wendy?" Kamala asked.

"Come with and I'll show you." Wendy said. "Roof time! Roof time!"

"Roof time! Roof time!" the others joined in on the chant.

Kamala, Dipper, and Mabel followed Wendy up to the highest part of the roof until they reached a spot that's been furnished with a lawn chair, a large umbrella, a cooler, and a bucket full of pinecones.

"Check it out." Wendy presented.

"Did you put all this stuff here?" Dipper asked impressed.

"I may or may not sneak up here during work, all the time, everyday." Wendy answered.

"So what do you do up here?" Kamala asked.

"Mainly chill, have a soda," Wendy replied, "But just for fun, I like to do this." She picked out a pinecone from her bucket and threw it right at a target which was taped to the totem pole. "Yes!"

"Cool!" Dipper praised.

"Me first!" Mabel yelled.

"Save one for me!" Kamala said.

The three of them picked out pinecones and threw them wildly hoping to hit the same target. One of the pinecones, which was thrown by Dipper, missed, but it hit a car causing the alarm to blare out.

"Jackpot!" Wendy praised holding up her hand. "High five. Don't leave me hanging."

Dipper looked up at Wendy with a newfound attraction toward her. He smiled at her and clapped her hand with his own.

"This is pretty cool." Kamala said. "You know, we never interact much outside of work hours, do we, Wendy?"

"Hmm. I guess you're right." Wendy said. "Say, how about you come join me and my friends to hang out after work tomorrow?"

"Really?" Kamala asked.

"Sure. Oh, hey. Speaking of my friends…" Wendy looked over at a van full of teenagers that were driving by. "I'll put in a good word for you. And hey, you guys aren't going to tell Stan about this, are you?"

"Your secret is safe with us." Kamala replied.

Dipper gave a nonverbal reply by zipping his lip. Wendy smiled and zipped her lip back before using a nearby tree for a quick descent into the van. It drove off as soon as she entered.

"Bye, Wendy!" Dipper waved with a flustered chuckle. "Good times."

"Uh, oh." Mabel said with a teasing smile. "Somebody's in love."

"Huh?" Kamala asked. "Wait, Dipper, do you have a crush on Wendy?"

"No way." Dipper replied with a nervous chuckle. "I just think Wendy's cool, okay? It's not like I lay awake at night thinking about her."

"Well, try not to make it too complicated." Kamala said before pulling her superhero mask from her pocket and putting it on. "Well, time for a patrol."

The following day, Mabel cried out, "RANDOM DANCE PARTY FOR NO REASON!" As soon as the music began, she, Kamala, and Wendy began a freestyle dance party. Dipper, in the meantime, kept his eyes on Wendy while pretending to write something down on a clipboard.

"Hey, Dipper, aren't you doing to get in on this?" Wendy invited.

Dipper gave a bashful smile. "I, uh, don't really dance."

"Yeah, you do." Mabel said. "Mom used to dress him up in a lamb costume and make him do... the Lamby Dance."

"Now is not the time to talk about the Lamby Dance." Dipper said with a glare.

"Lamb costume." Wendy laughed. "Wow, are there like little ears and a tail or..."

Mabel held up a photo of a really young Dipper in a cute lamb costume. "Dipper would prance around and sing a song about grazing."

"You just keep that photo on you?" Kamala asked.

The conversation was cut short by the cuckoo clock that went off. This was the moment that Kamala was waiting for all day.

"Hey, look at that. Quitting time." Wendy said. "You ready to meet the gang, Kamala?"

"Am I." Kamala replied.

"Hey, wait." Dipper said. "Uh, maybe I could… or we could come with you."

"Ooh, I don't know. My friends are pretty intense." Wendy said. "How old did you guys say you are?"

"We're thirteen, so technically a teen." Dipper lied.

"Really?" Kamala asked. "I could have sworn you were…"
"You're mistaken." Dipper said. "We're mature enough to handle whatever your friends have in store, Wendy."

"All right. I like your moxie, kid." Wendy said before leaving the room.

"Okay, what gives?" Kamala asked. "I specifically remember you saying you were twelve. That sounds way different from thirteen."

"Yeah, I'm confused myself." Mabel said. "Is this a leap year?"

"Just don't tell Wendy, Kamala." Dipper said. "This is our chance to hang out with the cool kids like you are. And Wendy and whatever."

"I knew it! You love her!" Mabel yelled dancing around Dipper. "Love, love, love, love, love!"

"Hey, what's that?" Dipper asked pointing behind Mabel, but as soon as she turned, he flipped her hair to cover her face.

Kamala sighed. "Dipper, it's cute that you have a crush, but you have to at least try not to complicate it. She's a teen and you're still a pre-teen. Remember my situation with Gideon?"

"Hard to forget." Dipper said. "But don't worry. It's not going to get complicated. I swear."

"I hope you're right." Kamala said.

When Kamala, Dipper, and Mabel followed Wendy outside, they caught sight of five more teens hanging by a van just outside the Mystery Shack. One girl had half of her attention on her phone. Two teens held the biggest guy upside down and shirtless while one more teen was trying to throw jellybeans into his belly button. Only Wendy made a successful shot which rewarded her with cheers from her peers.

"Hey, guys." Wendy greeted. "These are my pals from work. I already told you about Kamala, and these other two are Dipper and Mabel."

"I chewed my gum so it looks like a brain." Mabel said. She stuck out her own tongue revealing the gum.

"She's not much for first impressions, unlike this guy!" Dipper said pointing at himself. Everyone gave him a blank stare.

"So are you, like, babysitting or…" asked one of the teen boys. He was a goth guy with a black guitar and a black hoodie with a heart on it.

"Come on, Robbie." Wendy scoffed. "Guys, this is Lee and Nate…" One of the other teens punched another in the stomach and shared a laugh with him. "Tambry…"

"Hi." Tambry greeted without drawing her eyes away from her phone.

"Thompson, who once ate a runover waffle for 50 cents…"

"Don't tell them that." Thompson said embarrassed.

"And Robbie. You can probably figure him out." Wendy finished.

"Yeah. I'm the guy who spray-painted the water tower." Robbie said.

"Oh. You mean the big muffin." Dipper said.

"Wha… It's a giant explosion!" Robbie corrected.

Everyone looked up at the water tower to look at Robbie's drawing.

"Hehe. Kinda does look like a muffin." Lee said laughing with Nate. Of course, Robbie did not like Dipper for that.

"Wow. It looks like superheroes aren't the only ones with archenemies." Kamala commented.

"Let's hurry it up, guys. I got big plans for tonight." Wendy said leading everyone inside.

Dipper was the last one to get in the van. He hoped to get in the shotgun seat, but Robbie already claimed it making him sit in the back with Mabel. Kamala on the other hand sat right between Wendy and Nate.

"Okay. Just before we go," Thompson said, "M y mom said you guys aren't allowed to punch the roof anymore, so..."

"Thompson! Thompson! Thompson!" all the teens chanted as they punched the roof. Thompson gave up and started driving.

"You guys like messing with Thompson, huh?" Kamala asked.

"It's all in good fun." Wendy said. "Plus, it's not like he actually gets hurt."

"Whoa." Tambry gasped. "Guess what, guys. Ms. Marvel stopped a couple of robbers last night." She held up her phone to show a video of Ms. Marvel squishing a couple of masked robbers with her giant hand. Kamala was surprised that this was the topic of conversation.

"Ha! That chick squashed those goons good!" Robbie said.

"Oh. I take it you're all Ms. Marvel fans?" Kamala asked seemingly proud of herself.

"Yeah! She's awesome!" Lee answered.

"The coolest superhero ever!" Nate said.

"And she's really pretty." Thompson said before getting embarrassed. "Uh, not that I think she's pretty, I mean she's nice to look at! That's all!"

"And to think she was considered a joke by those two cops. Shows what they know!" Wendy said before noticing Kamala's attempt to hide her excitement. "Hey, Kamala, you okay?"

"Uh, yeah." Kamala replied trying not to squee. "Sorry, I'm a huge fan of her too. She's number 2 in my top 5 favorite superheroes, only behind Captain Marvel."

"You got a weakness for Marvels, don't ya?" Nate asked.

"Hey. Maybe we'll get lucky and actually meet her tonight." Lee said.

"Doubt it." Tambry said. "A girl as cool as her must be in her lair right now, miles from here."

"Or inches." Kamala thought to herself leaning back.

Curious, Dipper leaned forward to whisper in Kamala's ear. "Hey. What's that all about?"

"I have fans." Kamala whispered back.

The car was parked just outside of a fenced convenience store. Everyone stood outside of the fence looking at the small store that looked like it hadn't been used in years.

"There it is, fellas. The condemned Dusk 2 Dawn." Wendy said. While most of the teens and Mabel were drawn in, Dipper and Kamala were both cautious.

"Why did they shut it down?" Dipper asked with a stammer in his voice. "Like a health code violation or…"

"Try murder." Nate said.

"Some folks died in there. The place has been haunted ever since." Lee continued.

"This town has such a colorful history." Mabel commented.

"Uh, Wendy," Kamala whispered, "I have a bit of a bad feeling about this."

"Chill out, K. It's not as bad as it looks." Wendy said.

After climbing the fence, the teens all gathered at the front doors. Robbie tried to open them up, but had no success at all.

"I think it's stuck." Robbie said.

"Oh, no. I guess we can't be here after all." Kamala said nervously.

"Maybe I can take a crack at it." Dipper said.

"Oh yeah. I can't get in, but I'm sure Junior here is gonna break it down like Hercules." Robbie said sarcastically.

"Come on. Leave him alone." Wendy said. "He's just a kid."

Taken aback by Wendy's words, Dipper becomes determined. He goes around the store until he finds a dumpster to climb up. Once he reaches the roof, he punches a ventilation grate open and enters the store.

"Who wants to bet he doesn't make it?" Robbie asked.

Just then, Dipper opened the front door from the inside gesturing for everyone else to enter. Robbie was both shocked and dismayed while the others entered the store congratulating Dipper.

"Good call inviting this little maniac." Lee said.

"Your new name is Dr. Funtimes." Nate said.

"Nice work." Wendy said.

"I gotta admit, even I'm impressed." Kamala said.

At first, the inside of the Dusk 2 Dawn was both creepy and endearing. Most of the place was covered in darkness, cobwebs, and dust.

"Oh, man. It's even creepier than I imagined." Wendy said.

Kamala found a newspaper and picked it up before wiping the dust off it. "May 2, 1995. Sounds familiar."

"Uh, duh. It's a date that happened over twenty years ago. Of course, it's familiar." Robbie said.

"Guys, check it out!" Wendy said after finding the light switch. "You think they still work?"

"I don't think so, Wendy." Kamala said. "This place has been closed for decades. It's not like it's actually gonna…"

Wendy flipped the switch anyway, and suddenly, the entire room was illuminated with lights from above and all the machines were turned on.

"What do I know?" Kamala asked with a shrug.

"Jackpot!" Mabel smiled.

"So what are we going to do now?" Dipper asked.

"Anything we want." Wendy replied.

Over the course of the next several minutes, the gang played games all around the convenience store. They threw packaged goods at each other. They pelted each other with cat litter bags. They dropped mints into soda bottles and watched them explode. All in all, everyone was having a wonderful time completely forgetting the fact that they were in a restaurant.

"Oh, my gosh! Smile Dip!" Mabel gasped picking out a small packet of candied sugar. "I thought this stuff was banned in America!"

"Maybe they had a good reason." Dipper said before getting pulled back into the fun. His sister, meanwhile, went along with pouring the Smile Dip into her mouth.

Taking a break to rest from all the fun, Kamala stepped away from the gang to catch her breath. She then looked around until something caught her eye. She was drawn in by a standing rack that was filled with comic books.

"A comic book rack?" she asked. "Wait a minute. May 2, 1995." She gasped before she started flipping through all the comics. She went from stack to stack until she suddenly stopped. Her eyes became wide as dinner plates and she let out a shrilling shriek of pure glee.

Hearing the shriek, most of the others rushed to catch up to her. Mabel was the only one who didn't come since she was hallucinating thanks to the Smile Dip.

"Whoa? You okay, girl?" Nate asked.

"What happened?" Wendy asked.

"Nothing much. Just… THE GREATEST THING THAT'S EVER HAPPENED TO ME!" Kamala yelled. She showed everyone a packaged comic book with Captain Marvel on the cover fighting a supervillain.

"That's it?!" Robbie asked. "You screamed like a maniac over a dumb comic book?!"

"This isn't just any comic book, Robbie!" Kamala informed. "This is Captain Marvel, issue 192, ultimate edition! Only 30 copies of this piece of art were ever printed, and it looks like one of them actually found its way here in Gravity Falls. It must have been stocked up right before the owners died!"

Robbie groaned in disgust. "How could you ever get excited over something as lame as Captain Marvel?"

Kamala's excited face quickly turned angry as she glared up at Robbie. "Excuse me? What do you know about Captain Marvel?"

"I know it's an old comic our parents grew up reading, so that says enough." Robbie said. "And I saw the movie, and it stank."

"HEY!" Kamala yelled. "I'll admit, the movie wasn't exactly the best, but it doesn't deserve so much hate! And if you ever call Captain Marvel lame again one more time, I swear…"

"Whoa. Take it easy, everybody." Wendy said calming everyone down. "Remember, we're here to have fun. Okay?" Wendy's friends nodded and walked away. She was left alone with Kamala, so she turned to her. "Hey. So sorry about Robbie. He doesn't generally like anything."

"I get it." Kamala sighed looking down at her comic. "Insults toward Captain Marvel have always been a trigger for me."

"Can I ask you a personal question?" Wendy asked.

"Sure."

"What's with all the obsession with Captain Marvel?" Wendy asked. "Not dissing or anything, but it is an old comic."

Kamala took a breath before responding. "Growing up, I didn't have a lot of friends. At my old school, I was pretty much the outcast. My brother spends most of his time abroad. My parents are both pretty traditional. I love them, but I guess I needed an escape. Then, I found a Captain Marvel comic and decided to give it a read. That's when I started to greatly admire the titular heroine. Like me, she was a social outcast among her peers. Always looked down by her fellow Air Force pilots because she was a woman. Then, after getting blasted by alien energy, she became the greatest hero in the galaxy. She's everything I want to be. So yeah. That's why I love Captain Marvel so much."

"I see." Wendy said. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, you still got us as your friends. Sure, my friends can be pretty intense…"

"Nate, Lee, Thompson, and Tambry are intense." Kamala said. "Robbie's basically a jerk."

"No argument there. But they're not the worst people." Wendy said. "So what do you say? Let's enjoy the rest of the night."

"All right." Kamala said. She carried the comic book with her as she returned to the group with Wendy.

As the party went on, the gang discovered the dancing game, Dancy Pants Revolution. Thompson took full control of the game showing off his bad dancing skills. Everyone laughed, but Kamala stopped when she noticed Dipper pacing around very nervously. Curious, she stepped away from the group and approached him.

Without warning, Kamala placed a hand on Dipper's shoulder causing him to yell. "AAAAHHH!"

"WHOA! Dipper, chill! It's just me!" Kamala shouted.

"Sorry!" Dipper said with deep breaths. "I'm sorry!"

"Dipper, what's wrong?" Kamala asked.

Dipper looked around nervously before confessing. "I think this place is haunted."

"Haunted?" Kamala asked. "Are you sure?"

"Earlier, when I was getting ice, I was spooked by a floating brain with a face. And just a minute ago, I saw everyone's reflections on the windows, but without their skin. I tried calling Grunkle Stan, but he's not answering."

"If you're certain, maybe you should tell the others that." Kamala said.

"I can't." Dipper said. "If I try to say anything about it to them, they'll just think I'm a scared little kid or something."

"Tell you what. How about I tell them?" Kamala asked. "They won't think any less of me."

"Really?" Dipper asked hopefully.

"Totally." Kamala answered. "You just focus on your sister."

Dipper turned seeing his sister sick from all the candy she ate. He shook her trying to wake her up. "Mabel! How many of these did you eat?"

"Bleventeen." Mabel answered sickly.

"Whoa! Guys, you might want to see this!" Robbie called everyone from behind the counter.

Kamala, Dipper, and the teens all joined Robbie to discover what he found. Much to their shock, they found tape markings on the ground in the shapes of two corpses.

"Whoa. The rumors are true." Lee said.

"Dude, I dare you to lie down in it." Robbie said.

"Good idea." Lee said nudging Nate. "Go lie down in it."

Nate walked over to the tape marks, but before he could set one foot on them, Kamala grabbed his arm and pulled him away.

"Wait! Let's not!" Kamala protested.

"This girl's scared." Lee said with a smile.

"For good reason." Kamala said. "I think this store is really haunted."

"Take it down a notch, Captain Buzzkill." Robbie said.

"I'm serious." Kamala said. "Besides, this is where two people died. Don't you think we'd be a little disrespectful if we did this?"

"Okay, Kamala." Wendy said. "What makes you think this place is haunted anyway?"

"Uh… Well…" Kamala said unable to think of an answer.

"Nothing bad's going to happen, comic geek. Watch." Robbie said. He turned around and laid his back right on the tape markings. "See?"

Suddenly, the tape markings lit up a green glow causing everyone to step back. They watched in fear as the lights went out all round them, except for Tambry who kept on texting. All of a sudden, Tambry vanished into thin air. All that was left was her phone, which Dipper read aloud.

"'Status update: AAAHHHHHHH!'"

A static sound was heard from the security monitor. Tambry was revealed there screaming as she tried to break out.

"Now, can we all agree this place is haunted?!" Kamala panicked.

"Oh, yeah! One hundred percent!" Wendy agreed.

"What are we supposed to do?" Nate asked.

"I don't know, man!" Lee freaked out.

"Let's just go already!" Robbie yelled.

"What about Tambry?" Kamala asked. "And… Thompson, what are you doing?!"

"In a minute!" Thompson said nearly out of breath while still playing on the dancing game. "I've almost got the high score!"

All of a sudden, Thompson disappeared into thin air. He reappeared inside the video game screen being rained down upon by arrows.

"Forget him! Let's go!" Robbie yelled.

No one got the chance to escape though. The doors slammed shut. Wendy tried to open them, but she failed to do so.

"Guys, it's locked!" Wendy yelled.

"I got this!" Robbie yelled picking up a cash register. He threw it at the doors, but it vanished in a green light.

"Everybody, wait!" Dipper said pulling out his journal. "Whatever is doing this has to have some kind of reason! Maybe if we could just figure out what it is, they'll let us out of here!"

"'Oh, they'll let us out of here!'" Robbie repeated mockingly. "Yeah, that makes a lot of sense!"

"Listen to Dipper!" Kamala yelled. "He's the first one who figured out this store was haunted, but he was too scared of what you'd all think of him! The least you can do is hear him out!"

"Maybe they've got a point." Wendy said.

"Yeah right, I'm sure the ghost just wants to talk about his feelings!" Lee said sarcastically before disappearing as well. When he reappeared, he showed up on the cover of a cereal box being attacked by the mascot that was already on it.

Once Lee was gone, Mabel was seen again, but she was covered in a blue glow, she was floating in midair, and her eyes were completely white. A new voice came from her that sounded deep and menacing.

"Welcome."

"They got Mabel!" Dipper gasped.

"Welcome to your graves, young trespassers!" the ghost laughed through Mabel's mouth.

"We're super sorry for hanging out in your store!" Wendy apologized fearfully.

"Or mess with your resting places!" Kamala added.

"Can we just go now and leave forever?" Dipper asked.

"Well… okay. You're free to go." The ghost said allowing the door to open. "But before you leave, hot dogs are now half-off. I know it might be crazy, but you gotta try these dogs."

Robbie and Nate screamed before immediately running to the open door, which slammed shut right in their faces just before they could leave.

"Just kidding about the hot dog sale!"

"Just let us out of here already!" Nate demanded.

"I don't like your tone!"

The ghost's eyes glowed and Nate hovered in the air covered in a blue light. He then vanished just like Tambry, Thompson, and Lee. When he reappeared, he was in the form of a hot dog rolling on the stove.

"It begins." The ghost proclaimed making everything float up into the ceiling. "Welcome to your home for all eternity!"

"What do we do?!" Wendy asked loudly.

Kamala looked at her pocket and took a breath. She then stood up while standing upside down in the ceiling. "Wendy, sorry you had to find out this way."

"Find out what?" Wendy asked.

Kamala gave no answer. She just reached into her pocket and pulled out her Ms. Marvel mask before putting it on. She then shot her arm forward letting it stretch toward the ghost that possessed Mabel. Wendy's jaw dropped as she finally saw Kamala's powers while the superhero pinned Mabel's possessed body to the wall.

"Let everyone go! They're innocent!" Kamala yelled.

"I don't like your tone either!" The ghost let out a forceful push from Mabel's body which knocked Ms. Marvel backwards. He then used his telekinetic powers to throw various objects at her which she dodged.

While Ms. Marvel and the ghost fought, Wendy and Dipper crawled to an empty ice machine and hid themselves inside. They looked out to see the fight go on.

"I don't believe it!" Wendy said with widened eyes. "Kamala is Ms. Marvel?! …That actually makes so much sense now that I think about it."

"Kamala's tough, but I don't think she's going to last much longer against a ghost that strong." Dipper said. "It sounds like the ghost wants revenge?"

"What did we do wrong?" Wendy asked.

"Let's try to figure out the pattern here." Dipper said. "Why was each person taken? Tambry was texting. Thompson was playing a video game. Lee was being sarcastic. It doesn't make any sense."

"Yeah! I mean, those are all just normal teenage things."

Suddenly, Dipper raised his head noticing something. "Wendy, say that last part again?"

"Normal teenage things?" Wendy asked.

Dipper finally found the pattern. The answer was clear now. "Of course! Stay here until I get back!" He crawled out of the ice machine.

The fight had reached its climax. Ms. Marvel had jumped from one thrown shelf to another right when a bunch of slinkie toys flew at her and wrapped themselves around her. She tried to get out, but they got tighter as she struggled.

"And now," the ghost laughed, "For your sentence!"

"HEY, GHOST!" Dipper shouted getting the ghost's attention. "I've got something to tell you!"

The ghost covered Dipper in blue glow and made him hover in the air. This was Dipper's only chance to say something. Although he didn't want to admit it earlier, to save his friends, he had to confess the truth as clearly as he could.

"I'M NOT A TEENAGER!"

All of a sudden, everything that was floating fell to the ground. All the products, the machines, and the remaining people all dropped until they hit the floor. Mabel was the only one still floating, though it was then revealed that she was being held up by two ghosts who looked just like they did when they were alive, only noncorporeal. They resembled an old man and an old woman. The old man had a nametag that read "Pa" and the woman had a nametag that read "Ma".

"Well, why didn't you say so?" Pa laughed in a normal, nonthreatening voice. He then dropped Mabel safely after freeing her from his spell. "How old did you say you were?"

"I'm…" Dipper started to say. Though he was hesitant to admit it in front of Wendy, he knew there was no going back now. "I'm twelve. Technically not a teen."

"So that's why you attacked us? Because you hate teens?" Ms. Marvel asked freeing herself from her slinkie trap. "I don't get it."

"When we were alive, teenagers were a scourge on our store." Ma said.

"Always sassafrassin' customers with their boomy boxes and disrespectful short pants." Pa went on. "So we decided to up and ban them, but they retaliated with this newfangled rap music."

"The lyrics, they were so… hateful." Ma continued. "It was so shocking, we were stricken down with double heart attacks. That's why we hate teenagers so much. Don't we, honey?"

"Well, all except her." Pa pointed at Ms. Marvel.

"Me?"

"We overheard your talk about loving comic books and wanting to be like the heroes in them." Ma said. "Oh, it really touched our hearts. You're nothing like the hooligans who we had to deal with when we were alive."

"I thought you were going to hurt me." Ms. Marvel said.

"No. We were just gonna zap you back outside while we dealt with the rest." Pa replied.

"Well, that is nice," Ms. Marvel said, "But you've got to free the other teens too. Sure, they've been a bit disrespectful, but they don't deserve to be cursed for all eternity."

"She's right. They're our friends." Dipper said. "Isn't there anything I can do to help them?"

"There is one thing." Pa said. "Do any of you know any funny dances?"

"Uh… Is there anything else I can do?" Dipper asked.

"NOOOOOOO!" Pa yelled as he grew bigger, changed red, and produced fire all around his body.

"OKAY! OKAY! OKAY!" Dipper crie. "Um, well… I do know… the Lamby-Lamby Dance. But I can't really do it without a lamb costume."

Pa snapped his fingers, and suddenly, a lamb costume spontaneously appeared wrapped around Dipper.

"Really, Dipper. These two turn people into hot dogs." Ms. Marvel said. "You really didn't think they could do that?"

"All right. I get it. Here it goes." Dipper took a breath and started singing cutely.

Dipper:

Well… Who wants a lamby, lamby, lamby

I do. I do

So go out and greet your Mammy, Mammy, Mammy

Hi there. Hi there

So march, march, march around the daisies

And don't, don't, don't you forget about the baaaaaabyyyyyyy

Dipper gave one last wink to finish his dance. Pa shrank back to his previous form happy with his wife at what they just witnessed. Kamala tried her hardest not to laugh at that.

"That was some fine girly dancing, boy." Pa said. "Your friends are free."

The doors opened and Dipper was instantly restored to his normal clothes while Kamala removed her mask and hid it in her pocket.

"Well, I don't think you have to worry about us coming back so…" Dipper said before noticing that the ghosts were no longer there.

When everything was restored, all the vanished teens emerged from the wreckage groaning in exhaustion. Mabel was probably the worst trying to recover from her sickness.

"I'm never going to eat or do anything again." Mabel groaned.

"Hey, there's still some left." Dipper held up a packet of Smile Dip.

"Evil!" Mabel yelled smacking the packet out of her brother's hand.

"Maybe next time, no more candy that America won't allow." Kamala said. She used her foot to scooch the last packet out of sight.

"What happened after everything went crazy?" Lee asked.

"You are not going to believe it!" Wendy yelled. "The ghosts appeared, and Dipper had to…" She stopped when she noticed Dipper quietly pleading with her not to tell them the truth. "Uh, and… Dipper just grabbed a bat and started beating ghosts down left and right. And then, the ghost got all scared, and ran away like a couple of little girls. It was insane."

The teens turned to Dipper and congratulated him. But amongst the praise, he looked over at Wendy, who zipped her lip indicating that she'll keep his secret. Dipper returned with his own sealed lips motion.

After leaving the Dusk 2 Dawn, everyone returned to the car. The only ones left to enter were Dipper, Kamala, and Wendy. Kamala took out her newly-acquired comic book to admire it before turning her attention back to Wendy and Dipper.

"Well, I'm probably scarred for life." Wendy said.

"Yeah. That was pretty crazy." Dipper said.

"'Course, now, I think everyone's too tired to drive." Wendy said.

"Don't worry. I'll drive us home." Kamala volunteered. "And Wendy, about what you found out about me back inside…"

"Don't sweat it, Kamala. Your secret's safe with me." Wendy promised. "That's what friends are for."

"Thank you." Kamala replied with a smile. "Now, let's get the heck away from this messed-up place."

"Oh, yeah. When we get back, I think I'm gonna stare at a wall for a while and rethink everything." Wendy said. "Hey, next time we hang out, let's stay at the Mystery Shack, okay?"

Dipper laughed nervously. "Next time? Yeah, l-l-let's hang out at the shack."

"Real smooth." Kamala whispered to Dipper before heading to the driver's seat.

After getting in with everyone, Kamala turned to see how everyone was doing. "Robbie, are you where I told you to be?"

"Yeah," Robbie said, "But I don't see why it matters where I sit now."

"Trust me. I'll all be better." Kamala said.

As she turned the key in the ignition, Dipper suddenly had a thought in his head that made him worry. "Wait! Kamala, do you have a license?"

"Nope. I totally failed driver's ed." Kamala answered before stepping on the gas.

"WHAT?!" Dipper yelled in a panic. The car was driven quickly and erratically.

"WOO-HOO! STEP ON IT, KAMALA!" Wendy cheered. "FASTER! FASTER! FASTER!"

Not everyone was enjoying the wild car ride however. All the shaking around was causing more nausea to the already-sick Mabel.

"I don't feel so good." Mabel said. And in an instant, she wasn't able to hold it in anymore. She couldn't stop herself from reaching her head to the first thing she could reach, the seat where Robbie was.

"Huh?" Robbie asked turning to Mabel unable to stop what was coming.

BLARG!

"AH! GROSS!" Robbie yelled.

Hearing Robbie's cries, Kamala put on a soft smile while thinking to herself. "Don't diss my friends, Robbie. Don't diss me." Her smile grew into an evil, devilish grin. "And don't EVER call Captain Marvel lame!"
