The screen is black but slowly fades to a snow-buried area. but sounds of stomping through snow is heard. It is also snowing heavily with a male's voice who sounds out of breath.

"Woah, is he okay?" Yang said as she looked at the screen with a worried look.

"He's probably fine. maybe." Ruby replied.

The area is far and wide as the screen looks up to the area ahead of him where there is only what is left of trees and snow instead. The screen looks left and right, with the male's voice becoming more out of breath and music playing, seemingly building up.

Everyone had a look of worry, wondering how is the boy doing.

The screen changes to a side view, a young boy with fair skin and almost dark purple eyes carrying a girl with long black hair who is light skinned and unconscious who has blood coming out of her forehead.

some of Team RWBY and maybe JNPR had a similar feeling when the scene had changed to this.

"Do.. you all think that they're going to be fine?" Ruby asked softly, trying not to disturb the atmosphere.

No response, she assumed that it was too tense to ask something like that for now.

the scene changes to the boy's legs which is currently stomping through the harsh conditions of winter.

Again, the scene now changes to a trail with some blood, which they assume it was the blood left by the girl and trail by the boy.

Everyone knew that the looks of blood and girl was they had been attacked. by who?

Boy: "Why?"

A tense moment of silence for team RWBY & JNPR.

the scene changed to the girl, blood dripping from her forehead.

scene changed to the front view, showing the boy out of breath but still trying not to drop the girl.

The boy had a scar on the left(?) side of his forehead, wearing a blue scarf, with a black & green checkered of what seems to be a hakama. he also has rectangular earrings which has bright colours that hasn't faded yet, was it bought recently?

The girl is wearing a gradient dark blue to a lighter shade kimono, assuming.

Weiss wondered about the type of clothes she saw and proceeded to pull out her scroll and typed in a description of the hakama.

no results appear on her page. she groaned and continued watching.

Boy: "Why did this happen?"

"Nezuko, (out of breath) don't die on me." he says, the corner of his eyes had water forming.

"Nezuko?" everyone thought simultaneously. it was a foreign name, but there are people called as stones and gems so it wasn't that weird.

Boy: "I won't let you die."

both Nora and Ren's minds had flashbacks to when they first met.

they both were aware that these two shown on the screen had some kind of a relationship.

"I'll definitely save you!" Was the final words he'd say before the scene shows the boy's back and girls as the screen extends and shows the wide area of snow and dead trees behind them, a trail of slight blood and footprints.

"Its nice to see that the boy isn't giving up on the girl," Ren spoke. "however he looks younger then all of us. could he be possibly Ruby's age?"

"A possibility, maybe." Blake waved her hand around.

"Hey! If he was my age, he would've look like it." Ruby retorts.

And with that, the screen fades to black.

"Huh?" basically everyone says.

Not soon after the scene changes to a wooden straw bucket filled with coal, getting picked up by someone off-screen. it switched to a further scenery, where there is a familiar boy putting the bucket of coal on his back.

"Hey, look! its the boy!" Yang calls out.

"Yes, Yang. we can see that." Blake softly answered.

there was a house, with lots of wooden logs stacked besides the house. for the front was two square shaped what seemed to be huts builded by the logs.

Ruby and Yang felt familiar with the wooden house, remembering what they did back on Patch.

snow covered whatever remaining surface the area had.

Woman off-screen: "Tanjiro."

The boy, 'Tanjiro' turns to face who called him with a 'mhp?' sound.

We now get a close up on Tanjiro's face, which is dirty as coal dust rests basically everywhere.

"woah." Nora suddenly spoke. "didn't notice that Tanjiro had long hair!"

A woman comes out of the house, wearing what seems to be a bandanna on her head. (idk what's its called!!)

wearing a long but comfortable white dress, beneath the dress was a purple and pink kimono.

black hair and purple eyes, with a mole on the left(?) side of her bottom lip.

The mother of Tanjiro, Kie Kamado. (i literally forgot if this is actually her name..)

"Is that his mom? she's so pretty!" Ruby and Nora happily says together for the last part.

Kie: "Your face is dirty, come over here." she lifts up her white dress and starts to wipe her hands with it.

Tanjiro does nothing but stood still but suddenly the mother is on her knees, wiping the boy's face with a cotton cloth.

Everyone was at least a little surprised when Kie suddenly appeared in front of Tanjiro.

"Is that her semblance?" Ruby wondered.

"Could be." Phyrra replies.

Kie: "It gets dangerous during the snow, so its okay if you don't want to go." Kie calmly said as she continues to wipe Tanjiro's face.

He smiles as he was starting to spoke up.

Tanjiro: "I want everyone to be full during New Year." Tanjiro answered but Kie stops wiping his face in the middle of his sentence.

"I want to sell more charcoal."

"Charcoal?" Jaune said in a confused expression.

"It could that be that Tanjiro's family is a charcoal seller." Ren remarks as he watches the screen.

"So.. are they not really rich then?" Ruby asked.

"Probably not since we can see the stacks of wood logs besides the house." Blake says.

The scene switches to Kie and which she smiles. "Arigato." She puts her hands on her lap as a new voice is suddenly heard.

Young Boy: "Oneē-chan!" A boy voice yells out, causing two of the Kamado's to turn their heads towards the off-screen person.

"Ārigato and oneē-chan...?" Blake mumbled under her breath.

two people is seen as the scene switches to them, one is small with shaved hair wearing a light-green hakama with the same colour with black checkered style beneath it.

The other is a girl with straight hair and bangs, her clothes is a almost light but dark pink with long sleeves with the clothes beneath is light yellow. (IDK how to literally describe clothes...)

Young Boy: "Are you going to the town today?" The younger brother says excitedly whilst the sister looks worrisome.

"Ahh!! They all look so cute! i just wanna squish 'em to death!" Nora extends her arms out while literally trying not to jump in the screen and hug the Kamado Family.

Young Girl: "I-I want to tag along too!" The sister says as she tries her best not to yell.

Behind them who looks like the third or second oldest of the siblings is holding a axe, wearing a green and black checkered style scarf.

The third eldest walks behind the two younger siblings as Kie stands up from her kneeling position.

Kie: "You can't." She firmly answered.

"You both can't walk as fast as Tanjiro, right?" The mother questioned the two she starts to walk closer to them.

the brother is annoyed and stomps his foot on the snow.

Young Boy: "Mom!"

Kie: "No way. We can't pull the carriage out today. You can't sit or rest on it."

The brother looks down and pouts his cheeks. But he suddenly went to Tanjiro while saying his name. "Onee-chan!" he suddenly went for a hug.

the sister however also comes up to Tanjiro.

Nora, (or any girls really) couldn't stand having to fight back the urge to just jump in the screen and hug the death outta them.

Young Girl: "I want to go with you." says the girl, looking at Tanjiro. "I'll help you sell the charcoal too."

Tanjiro raised his hand to put it on his little sister's head gently, before speaking once again.

Tanjiro: "Thank you, Hanako." he pats her head again. 'Hanako's worrisome expression quickly fades to a more excited one, her cheeks reddens slightly. "But you should stay home today."

Hanako's face then turns sour, her head extending back slightly with a "Ehhhh!?" cut to the little brother hugging Tanjiro, who crouches down to the little brother's height with a smile. both of his hands on his shoulders.

"That's like when Dad wouldn't allow us to go on his missions together!" Ruby calls out, the same expression as Hanako.

"That's because you were four, Ruby." Yang looked at her before looking back at the screen,

Tanjiro: "Shigeru too." he cups 'Shigeru's cheek. "I'll buy delicious food for you."

Shigeru's face turns happy, a smile on his lips. "Really?" He calls out. "Yes." Tanjiro nods. the little brother then smiles cheekily. The big brother turns to Hanako, his free hand patting her hair.

Tanjiro: "Hanako, i'll read a book to you when i return home."

Hanako: "Okay!"

Tanjiro: "Good girl."

the scene changes to face Kie's back.

Kie: "Thank you, Tanjiro." Tanjiro gets up and faces Kie. "I'll get going then."

Tanjiro: "Takeo." he turns to look at 'Takeo.' "If you don't mind, can you chop some firewood for me?"

"Aww, they all look so cute!" Ruby squeals.

"That, i can agree." Weiss followed along, also squealing. but quietly.

Takeo: "I can chop the firewood." *turns head* "i just want to do it with you." he then pouts as Tanjiro came over to Takeo.

Tanjiro pats Takeo, before he jumps back, clearly embarrassed.

Takeo: "What are you doing!"

Shigeru: "Takeo is embarrassed!"

Takeo: "S-Shut up!" Tanjiro continues to pat his head also with the "good boy."

Takeo: "Don't touch my head!"

the family then laughs in unison, with Tanjiro laughing as well. just delayed a bit from his part.

Ren, Nora, and Weiss all felt the pain when their family wasn't exactly the best. nor had one. they sadly smiled.

scene change to Hanako, Takeo, Kie waving goodbye. Shigeru has his hands used as some type of megaphone.

Shigeru: "Come back quickly! Be careful on the road!"

scene cut to Tanjiro also waving goodbye.

a pair of sandals appear, with a pink kimono.

Girl: "Oneē-chan."

The girl is holding a small boy with a blanket, her hair tied up.

Tanjiro: "Nezuko."

"Wait- so THATS Nezuko!? She's so pretty!" Ruby called out.

"What can i say, big sister traits!" Yang ruffles Ruby's hair, only for the silver eyed girl to attack childishly.

Nezuko: "I put Rokuta to sleep. Or else, he'll cry and make noises."

She looks at 'Rokuta.'

Nezuko: "I think he's feeling lonely after Dad's passing."

The mood sudden drops slightly.

Tanjiro pats his head, rubbing it softly.

Nezuko: "That's why everyone clings to you."

"Come back safely!"

"I don't want to say this.. but something is wrong, the first scene wasn't exactly.. more wholesome." Ren sadly comments.

"Don't say that!" Nora smacks his arm.

"ow-!"

Tanjiro: *mind* "Living isn't easy. But we're happy. Life is like the weather, its ever-changing."

cut to Tanjiro walking in the snow.

"Sunny days won't last forever. It won't keep on snowing too. But when happiness comes crashing down, its always accompanied by the smell of blood."

The mood changes to a more dark tone.

"Thats... not good." Weiss remarks.

"mhm." Blake finally agrees with her by nodding.

"Ruby? Are you alright?" Yang said softly as she looked at her young half-sister.

"Im fine, Yang."

Cut to a village then a old women cleaning.

Old Lady: (turns to tanjiro) "Its Tanjiro. You still came down the mountain in this weather? Your so hard working. Don't catch a cold by then."

"This must have been old times, since we don't see any advanced technology yet." Blake quizzed.

Tanjiro: "Im fine with this weather, want to buy some charcoal? Do you have enough at home?"

Man Off-Screen: "Hey, Tanjiro!" *Tanjiro turns his head.*

Man: "I want to buy some charcoal, you helped me fix my door last time, Ārigato."

Woman Further Away: "I also want to buy charcoal."

Tanjiro grins brightly, before a teenage boy who looks hurt is suddenly thrown out by his mother.

Teenage Boy: "Tanjiro! You came at the right time!"

The boy goes to Tanjiro and kneels down, holding a purple napkin with shattered red glass pieces.

Teenage Boy: "I was treated as the culprit who broke the plate, please help me!"

"Tanjiro is just a boy selling charcoal, why is he involved in something that relates to nothing?" Yang said, if not with a hint of annoyance.

"Whenever a crime occur in public spaces, the citizens there is usually labelled as a suspect or witnesses." Weiss replied.

Teenage Boy: "Smell it!"

The crowd visibly cringes.

"Ew." Ruby mutters.

The mother walks behind the boy as Tanjiro takes a sniff at the broken glass. His eyes widen slightly.

Tanjiro: "I smelled a cat."

Teenage Boy: (turns to mother) "I told you!"

Mother: (sarcastically) " My goodness, it was the cat's fault."

Older Man: "Tanjiro! Could you help me move some stuff?"

Cut to night where Tanjiro is walking back up the mountain.

Tanjiro: (mind) "Its already late. But thank goodness i sold all the charcoal."

Saburo: "Tanjiro! Are you going back up to the mountain? It's too dangerous. Don't go."

Tanjiro: "I have a good nose. I'll be fine."

"Oh, that explains the broken glass thing." Yang nonchalantly told.

Saburo: "You can stay the night here. Come here."

Tanjiro pulls his head back sadly. Tanjiro: "But.."

Saburo: "Just come! The demons are coming out."

"Demons?" Weiss remarked. "Are they talking about Grimm?"

"I don't think so, it may be a similar variation of Grimm but not as the real thing." Blake responded.

"The girl in the video did we were reacting to different universes and such." Ren replied.

Cut to Saburo's house, where Tanjiro is wearing a white robe.

Tanjiro: *puts chopsticks on bowl* "Thank you for the food."

He grabs a cup of green tea, sipping some of it.

Tanjiro: "Well, Mr. Saburo. What do you mean by demons?"

Saburo: "Since a long time ago, man-eating demons always come out after sunset." He sets down a blanket.

"Huh, so Ren was correct." Jaune said.

"Ren is super smart! I know that from firsthand experience!" Ren cheered.

"But it's weird that the demons come out AFTER sunset." Weiss questioned.

"They probably burn in the sunlight or is allergic to it?" Blake answered.

"So, you mustn't wander outside at night. Sleep after your done. Wake up early tomorrow and go home."

Cut to Tanjiro on the mat, unable to sleep.

Tanjiro: "The demons can't enter houses, right?"

Jaune looks at Phyrra, who had a worried look on her face staring at the screen. "Hey, Phyrra? Are you alright?"

"H-huh?" She suddenly snapped out of it and looked at Jaune. "Im fine, Jaune."

Saburo is seen smoking facing away from the camera. "No, they can."

"If so, everyone will be eaten by the demons."

Saburo: "That's why there are demon slayers who help us to kill them. They have existed a long time ago." he smacks the pipe on the ashtray.

"I'll put the lights out. Go to sleep."
