Anonymous: Some chapters will skip certain characters if they seem a little monotonous to me. Sonic being tortured is only so interesting. There are a lot of ways Sonic's escape plan could go. If he did escape, who knows where he's at? He'll have to find out how to get back to the Freedom Fighters… but if he couldn't get through to Sally, would he leave?

/*-*/

Sonic let out another scream as Mecha Sally cut into his side once again, flaying little bits of skin as if to drag out his suffering. He gasped as Eggman continued to chew his potato chips, watching with a sick sense of enjoyment as Sonic writhed underneath the blow.

If Eggman wasn't so arrogant, he might have noticed Sonic weakening the restraints with his twists and turns. Still, it was exhausting.

Sonic panted as sweat dripped down his face. This torture was pointless. Eggman wasn't doing it to get information, he was just doing it to make Sonic suffer. And it worked, only because Sally, the girl he loved so much, was doing it.

Still, He couldn't give up hope yet. Sonic always got out of sticky situations, and he would get out of this one too, "Come on Sal, you aren't this cruel. You can fight it." Sonic gasped. He'd done it before, and he'd keep doing it until Sal listened to him… or until he escaped.

"Come now, Hedgehog, how many times have you tried that? They have some nerve calling me insane." Eggman snickered, rubbing his hands together. Sonic put up a brave smile as he struggled and jiggled against the restraints, "But I think that's enough of dealing with your body. Don't want you passing out before the main EVENT!" Eggman gestured to the large screen he had installed in Sonic's torture room.

The screen turned on and a picture of a green doe standing with her arms behind her back greeted Sonic's eyes. He gasped as he realized that there were several Egg Carriers were behind the doe as she stood in attention.

"Sir, We are… in position to begin the operation. We need more time, however. Our ships are still heavily damaged." The Deer pleaded in a firm, but shaky voice.

"Bah… proceed with the operation. We have the Hedgehog, and I've given you enough time already. I can't help your wrecklessness, damaging my carriers like that!" Eggman growled at his commander.

"WHAT!" A metallic voice came from the screen and another, darker, smaller doe appeared on the screen, appearing to push her face up against the camera with an angry flair, " MY SISTER WAS THERE KEEPING YOUR UGLY FACE SAFE. SHE WASN'T RECKLESS! CLOVE COULDN'T BE RECKLESS IF YOU PUT HER IN A HOUSE MADE OF BANANA PEELS, YOU FATTY!"

Eggman growled as blood rushed to his face, turning it a deep red in rage, "Why you little insolent creature! I'll show you-"

"Cassia, please!" Clove, the lighter green doe, pushed the darker green doe out of the screen before bowing her head, "I apologize for my sister's actions."

The darker green doe opened her mouth to protest, but Clove covered her sister's mouth, "We will proceed with the operation as you have requested."

The screen went black as Eggman rubbed his forehead, "That's… better." He sighed in exasperated voice.

Sonic still hung there as his burns flared up lightly. He then felt the surge of fear as his brain recognized what Eggman was doing exactly. He thrashed against his restraints, and finally loosened his arms. Sonic heard the click, but kept himself still as Eggman grinned at him, "It's a shame, hedgehog. All our wonderful memories spent together… it will soon be over."

The screen suddenly came on, but instead of the doe, Sonic saw what looked like a forest, moving beneath the camera. It was probably on the front of an Egg Carrier. Clove's voice came over the screen, "We are approaching the kingdom's border. Preparing to arm missiles."

Sonic then saw the town appear and he thrashed, "STOP THIS! EGGMAN, STOP THE ATTACK!" It finally set in to him that he was about to watch the Kingdom he'd spent so much time trying to protect and help get destroyed.

He jerked to Mecha Sally, who seemed focused on the screen, "SALLY, PLEASE!" He had to try something. Maybe if she came back, they could beat down Eggman and call the attack off.

"Oh… this is going to be fun." Eggman cheered as the city came into view from the camera.

Sonic stopped thrashing as he saw the wood and stone houses, the stone and dirt streets. Shops and stalls, station and smithies. All… Empty. There wasn't any food or anything out and about. No sales were being made.

Clove sounded confused on her end, and Sonic was with the Pronghorn, "The… city seems to be abandoned."

"Bah, they're just hiding, flush them out!" Eggman barked as Sonic jerked around.

"STOP IT!" Sonic shouted, thrashing about aggressively as his restraints continued to weaken.

"Keep screaming, you annoying pest. I'm going to enjoy every second of it." Eggman laughed and turned back to the screen, which shifted to the pronghorn, Clove, once again.

"As you command." She stated fiercely, putting her arms behind her back in attention. She turned to a deer in a weird helmet and commanded firmly, "Give out the order to bombard the city!"

"Yes, Ma'am!" The deer scrambled and pressed several buttons on his station, "All carriers, all carrier. The order has been given, open fire on the town, and flush out any mobians."

Sonic jerked forward, but part of him knew that there wasn't any danger. Why would they be in their homes hiding…

Because I got captured, and they don't want to fight anymore. Sonic thought before jerking harder against his restraints. He wouldn't cry out, and give Eggman the satisfaction of hearing his screams, but he still needed to do something…

The screen shifted back to the camera on the front of the Egg Carrier as the missiles flew into the buildings, blowing up and sending chunks of wood and stone everywhere.

Sonic's breath hitched as both he and Mecha Sally seemed to watch closely. The dust began to clear out and they were greeted by the sight of… empty houses. No one hiding in closets or behind shut doors. There was nothing.

Eggman scowled, before laughing, "They're so scared, they're already on the run. Oh well, Egg Boss Clove, destroy the city, and keep moving. Keep destroying the cities as they come. We have all the time in the world." He laughed before cutting the transmission as the Pronghorn was about to say something.

The door on the right opened up and an echidna walked inside, "Uh… Sir, We have a message from the Raiju clan. The Bride of The Conquering Storm would like to speak with you."

Eggman perked up, "Visitors? Oh, wonderful. Very well." He hovered towards the door before looking over at Sonic, "See you soon, pest." With that, the door closed.

Mecha Sally walked past Sonic, and left as well. He couldn't find the words to say to her. Still, the door didn't have a code or locks on it, which meant if he could get loose of his bindings, Sonic was home free.

Sonic looked around and flicked his ears. There was a light ringing in them from his body feeling a pain overload, but he could still hear obviously. He listened for some form of movement behind him. Nothing. He didn't see anyone there in front of him.

Sonic jerked against the chains and they pulled as he tugged against them. He was able to pull his arm a good six inches down. So Sonic let his arm go up, and then jerked down again. He did the same with his other arm, and began to rotate through both of them.

The sound of clicking chains told Sonic that he was at least making progress on them.

Then He felt the right chain go slack. Sonic ignored the burning in his side in favor of the burning in his heart. He then went to work on the other chain, pulling against it with his now semi-freed arm. The Chain went slack almost immediately.

Sonic then went to work on his legs as he dropped to the floor. Soon, he was out, which meant it was time for an escape.

Sonic mumbled, "Sorry, Eggy, but I got a kingdom to save." Sonic sprinted at the door and curled up into a ball. He winced as his burnt sides touched his elbows. Still, He gave it his all, and burst through the metal door, landing on his feet.

A loud siren blasted over head, "Alert! Security Breach detected, lock down initiated."

Sonic couldn't help but grin as his joints popped from being used, "Well, That's my cue."

He bolted down a large white hallway with silver floors, except everything was in a red hue from the glowing alarms.

The walls opened up and showed off the lovely little trap Eggman had set up for him. Two shotguns traps fired at him, but this was Sonic they were facing. He leapt into the air, before receiving a harsh reminder that he was cut into for the past…. Sonic didn't know how long.

His lungs hurt but Sonic curled up, and slammed into a turret, cutting it off the wall. Sonic gasped as he landed, feeling the sore aching in his calf muscles. Sonic sat up as he heard the turret swivel around. Sonic zipped forward and turned left down a hallway from an intersection. He quickly felt his chest lose all of the air left out of his lungs.

He felt weaker, but Sonic could escape. He could rest once he was out. Sonic took another deep breath as he heard noise coming from the hallways behind him. Sonic took off and zipped across the floors, rushing down the seemingly identically hallways as Legionnaires ran out.

Sonic jerked left and ran down to avoid getting hit by lasers. The Alarm continued to sound as Sonic jerked right and burst forward as he struggled with his breathing. He slowed down to catch his breath, ignoring his heart which was racing from pain and exhaustion. Then he looked up.

The door in front of him was different from the others. It had two paneled which met together to make a tight air lock… which meant it probably led to the outside.

Sonic took another breath as the sound of boots and wheels pushing across the tile floor. He had to be fast. Sonic took a step back, and ran full throttle at the doorway. He leapt into the air and curled into a ball, striking the door at its center. The walls bent, but didn't break, and Sonic felt what was probably a couple quills out of place from the hit.

Still, the squeaking of boots and rushing of machines told Sonic he didn't have time to nurse his wounds. He stood up and zipped around as the cauterized wounds began to burn, before rushing straight at the door again, curling into a ball and breaking through.

He landed on black stone, and caught his breath as his injuries were really starting to act up. Sonic shook his head, "Come on, Eggman! I know you've got better!" He taunted.

Eggman didn't seem to be giving him banter, which was a little unnerving, but Sonic didn't really have time to wait around for him. He needed to get out of there.

Judging by the rocks, Sonic had a feeling that he was still on the same continent as the kingdom of Acorn. He knew these rocks, but the base seemed brand new. Another thing Sonic quickly noticed was the large wall around him. It seemed pretty thick, but Sonic had faced worse odds.

He zipped around and smashed through two Egg Pawns before, running at the walls. He passed what seemed to be a couple of very large buildings, which had a lot of badniks surrounding it. Eggman must not want anyone going in that building, so it must have been housing something important.

Before Sonic could go and get into more trouble, his wounds again and head reminded him that he need rest, a few bandages, and a lot of chilidogs. He turned to the wall and ran to the gate. He didn't see any way up from his end, probably an elevator inside one of the two towers that was there. If that was the case, he could just run up and jump out.

Sonic zipped towards the left tower and saw the door that led inside the tower. He burst through after flinging himself through the doorway.

Two Egg Pawns sprang to life and took aim at him. Sonic took a quick breath and rushed at them, tearing through their metal hides. He ran up the stairs and jumped over a shotgun trap, before he kept running. His whole body ached, but once he got some sleep, he'd be ready to go.

Sorry, Sal. I'll be back for you, I promise! Sonic commanded himself. He was not going to lose her!

He burst through a doorway, and tackled a legionnaire before she could reach for her weapon, "Stay down!" Sonic commanded through a rasp. Pain shot through his leg, and he looked down. He'd ripped the cauterized scab with that jump. He grit his teeth and walked over to the button.

The watch tower appeared to have re-enforced glass, difficult to break. He pressed the button, and heard the gate begin to move. Sonic had a few seconds, and caught his breath. He would have to run through the pain in his legs, but he could do it.

Once Sonic's head had stabilized, he stood up, and ran down the stairwell, avoiding the shot gun trap and bursting out of the doorway. Badniks were closing in from everywhere in the base. The good news was, Sonic wasn't going towards the base. He turned around and ran to the gateway, "See you later, Eggy!" Sonic taunted.

As his foot collided with the metal doorway, Sonic felt something… off. He took another step as his ears picked up the noise…

He jerked around as Mecha Sally slammed a blade into Sonic's stomach, pinning him into the wall. Sonic screamed as the blade ignited his insides.

"Stop! STOP!" Eggman's voice commanded as his pod came flying over. Sonic felt woozy, and his eye lids began to come together. Eggman's voice shouted, "KEEP HIM ALIVE! HE CAN'T DIE YET!" Sonic felt the blade removed as Legionnaires rushed forward and grabbed him.

Those words graced Sonic's ears as he felt the wind rush up his body, and silence cover him completely.

The soldiers were ordered to rally together early in the morning. Fiona awoke and walked out of her room. They had been forced to use Sonic's manor to house the increasing number of soldiers and volunteers who had come. Some had to double bunk, others were sleeping on the floor.

Fiona began knocking on the doors, waking up the soldiers. Christina was all too happy to make the food. She hummed cheerfully in the kitchen as men sat down and waited for their food. She brought out a lovely set of fish in a sauce, and they ate.

Then, Fiona and the soldiers went up the hill towards the Wolverine. What They saw when they got up there were several banners on posts, and the Wolverine stood in front of them, along with Lanolin, Gewis and Oscar.

The army gathered around, and once almost everyone was there, Johan nodded. He gestured to the standards behind him, "Today, you will be divided into smaller armies. Each army will carry with it a standard."

Johan waited for the crowd to respond. Fiona looked to her left and saw Richard, and the brown bear. They seemed to look skeptically at Johan. She couldn't blame them. Fiona had yet to see any of the new soldiers pick up a rifle.

There really were a lot more than Fiona was expecting. There must have been thousands arriving. And Johan was there to greet them all.

Speaking of the Wolverine, he gestured to the banners behind him. There were about thirty, each of them different symbols on each banner. There were smaller Icons around the main one, making the banners something of artwork, "These standards are a piece of your homeland. They are all that you fight for. If they are lost, your armies will discover there are fates worse than death."

Those last words carried an aggressive tone, but Fiona didn't really feel a wave of nervousness from the crowd. He hadn't really given them a show of force yet. Fiona knew he was dangerous, though.

Johan then began to pick out the soldiers. To Her surprise, Johan picked out the Brown Bear and spoke in a clear and commanding voice, "You will lead men into battle."

Several people around seemed surprised by that choice as well. "About time" The brown bear stated, but was still surprised, "Uh… So why me?"

"You have initiative. You will be quick to respond. Good traits in a leader. If I only I could curb your pride." Johan growled, before cocking his head, "Speak your name."

"I'm Bosphor. Yeah, I can get anyone to do something." The smiled smugly.

Fiona looked around and saw Gewis scanning the crowd. He seemed especially concerned, and Fiona was entirely on board. Johan seemed to be making crazy quick decisions on whims. He justified them, but Fiona wasn't happy with those justifications. But why was the white Fox scanning the crowd?

She followed Johan and realized he was picking more commanders. It was strange, but he seemed to pick out several commanders, regardless of status or age. He passed over a young nobleman for an older rat. He skipped a veteran nobleman for a bull who had been a farmer. He did pick out a few nobles, but there were certainly more peasant leaders out of everyone. Gewis and Lanolin were promoted rather quickly The last one he picked was a young chipmunk, Elias Acorn.

They were all pushed up to the center of the crowd, where Johan growled, "I have looked at these commanders with great care. I do not choose them rashly."

He then turned and began to hand out banners to the commanders. Johan had his own banner, a red back ground with a yellow bow.

Johan then turned to the commanders, "You have a task from me, organize your men for an exercise."

Many of the commanders perked up. Bosphor grinned, "What are we doing? War games?"

Johan scoffed in his throat, "Digging."

As he said that, Lanolin dropped a box on the ground and opened it up to reveal several shovels inside. The commanders drooped at the sight of the box. Then Johan added to their suffering.

"And your men will need to sing while digging the foundations and outhouses." Johan growled pleasantly, as though the thought of them digging made him happy.

"Sing? Manual labor? When do we get guns!" Bospher shouted angrily. Fiona could see he had enough.

"When you are ready. Where I come from, a weapon is given to a man, not just an older boy." Johan growled, raising his shoulders to intimidate Bosphor. Bosphor only seemed to get angry.

Johan then relaxed and smiled, "Now, Go and pick out your men. Today, we will be building resting areas for our men, and dumping areas. We will have three buildings up by today!"

The Generals seemed to argue for a moment when Johan stated clearly, "You will pick out the men you will lead!"

The Generals scrambled into the crowd. Bosphor came up to Fiona, "You, I want you in my army."

Fiona raised an eyebrow at him, "Why?"

"Because you're a pretty face and can get more people with me." Bosphor rolled his eyes and moved along.

Fiona snorted, "No, I think I'll take my chances with the Wolverine." She walked up to the large beast, and sat down. She quickly realized that most of the penal soldiers were sitting there with her.

Fiona also saw Bosphor who seemed to be struggling with getting men. With a personality like his, Fiona was surprised that anyone bothered listening to him.

They stood there for an hour as the commanders tried desperately to get someone working with them. Some soldiers decided to come and gather around Johan, making their choice.

After another thirty minutes, the generals stood there with their soldiers in thin rows that seemed to bleed into each other.

Johan growled at the men, "Now, Gewis, Bosphor, Raegenalt, your armies will begin digging with me!" He gave the order and pushed out a box of several shovels. So not everyone was digging? He must have made a distinction for some reason.

He gave out other orders to the remaining armies, passing out axes and hammers. The soldiers all looked rather annoyed by the fact that they now had to do menial labor. Or rather, most of them. Some of the soldiers looked rather unsurprised that they had to do hard work. They were farmers and construction workers after all.

Fiona groaned and grabbed a shovel. Her plan of working with the boss to not do stupid work had back fired. Still, she might as well do it.

I could be with Scourge, being wined and dined to my hearts content. Fiona thought bitterly. This was stupid.

Still, the Wolverine picked out a patch at the base of the hill away from the city, and gave the order, "We will dig here."

Fiona heard the groaned, but she set her shovel in the ground. They started working, and Fiona found herself very clearly not liking it at all. The soldiers were in the same boat.

Unfortunately, there wasn't too much to complain about, as when the soldiers shoveled the piled of dirt backwards, the Wolverine and Gewis were there to pick up those dirt piles, and carry them out. Johan did most of the work, not that Gewis was trying to slack off.

Fiona wiped sweat from her head as she vontineud to shovel when Johna spoke a clear command, "Sing, find the song in your heart. There is no greater tune." It wasn't directed at any single mobian there, but instead at the whole brigades.

"Why?" Oscar asked, as he continued to shovel, throwing some dirt while passing a glace at the sheep in the distance.

"It's good for your soul, your body, and mind. It helps build the lungs, and inspire you to greatness." Johan answered clearly, tossing another pile of dirt off the hill, widening the area.

No one sang. It was kind of hard to find a good song on the spot. Some were spiteful, like Fiona, others were clearly embarrassed by the idea.

"A call, a cry in the wild," Gewis mumbled softly, tapping his feet as he picked up a smaller pule, "A sudden and deafening roar through the ground, The dark of the night is defiled by The blinding light that foreshadows the sound." He seemed to be trying to sing.

Oscar joined it, giving the fox a smile as he hefted a shovel's worth of dirt, "Lo, how the mountains shudder, Now we all see with the same tired eyes."

Fiona then heard a couple of other digging soldiers start singing with them, "Oh, how the forest is moving, Harbingers sharing the promise to rise."

Why were they singing? Fiona didn't really get it. She didn't understand why Johan wanted them to sing so much. Yet it became strangely infectious as Fiona sang along with the soldiers, "Lift up your eyes, you are the tide, You are the heralds of righteous fights!"

While she sang, her steps seemed to be more energized as if she wasn't tired from moving, "Lift up your eyes, you are the tide, That will not abide!"

More soldiers joined in as they set to work, cutting down trees, digging holes and ditches, "RIse, lift up your eyes, you are the tide. You are the heralds of conquering skies! Lift up your eyes, you are the tide
That will not abide!"

They sang with other soldiers as more of the brigades joined in, "Of the tempest we are born, And there's no shelter from the storm!"

Their song rose over the hill, and for once, Fiona didn't feel any guilt or pain. It felt good. She sang the next line alone, "A swell and a thundering wave, A union of bone upon iron and wood, A torrent of will against rage! That shatters like stone in the face of the flood!"

The men around her began to sing along, " Lo, how the rivers tremble, Now we all sing out the same tired cries! Oh, how the valleys shiver, Forerunners calling upon us to rise!"

They sang together as they finished out the first foundation, "Lift up your eyes, you are the tide, You are the heralds of holy fights! Lift up your eyes, you are the tide, That will not abide!"

Fiona felt the thumping within her soul as they continued to dig, and other brigades brought over logs, wood and nails, "Rise, lift up your eyes, you are the tide. You are the heralds of righteous fights! Lift up your eyes, you are the tide, That will not abide!"

Their spirits were strangely raised, and they got to work, finishing out the buildings.

/*-*/

Johan raised his arms triumphantly as the men sat around, "And he who ever should believe in him shall not perish but have every lasting life!" Johan barked out to the men.

Some listened eagerly from their sleeping bags, others simply closed their eyes and went to sleep. It was getting rather dark, so Johan decided that was enough for the night, "That is all for the night. Sleep, get your rest. Gather your strength. We will work tomorrow."

Johan walked back to his sleeping quarters. As he did, Johan saw two well dressed mobians, standing outside the building area that the army had started. One was an ox, looking very impatient, the other was a boar, who seemed displeased.

Johan could tell they were nobles, and when Johan passed them, the boar spoke up, "Greeting's Wolverine, I represent the noble council with regards to your recent order to evacuate the eastern states. We are very displeased."

"I don't care if you are displeased. You will lose less if you heed my advise." Johan growled, continuing along.

"I lost my entire city! I want you to start doing your job!" The Ox demanded angrily, snarling at Johan.

Johan kept walking, "My job is to muster the men and prepare them for battle. I am doing that." He growled as they followed him along.

"Then send them to save our cities!" The ox shouted angrily. Johan could admire passion, but the ox's tone made Johan angry.

"They are not ready. These boys can not fight. They must be trained for war." Johan growled firmly at the "noblemen".

"And yet, you're here giving them story time and children's games instead of something actually useful!" Growled the ox at Johan.

The boar stepped in, daring to try and separate the two as Johan stopped, "Now, We don't doubt that you are doing everything in your power to prepare the men-"

Johan interrupted in a moment of anger at his lies, "If that were true, you would not be here."

"-However, we would like something to show for our good faith." The boar explained, his voice trying to hide some anger. Johan had little care for what they thought. These were born nobles, not hardened by battle or promoted by any courage of their own.

"Are you ready to die?" Johan stopped and asked the boar with a cocked head. Part of him was curious, the other part already knew the answer.

"I beg your pardon?" The boar asked, straightening his back and standing offensively.

"You are forgiven. Now, I ask again, are you prepared to die?" Johan sighed again at the fat boar, who still seemed shocked by the question. Could the fool do anything but gawk?

"Are you threatening us?" The ox growled, balling and seeming to reach for a weapon. He seemed to have a lavish sword. Engraving made the sword no more dangerous.

Johan lunged at him, and drew his claws out, pining the ox to the ground with a crawl placed directly on his throat, "I am asking you a simple question: If I were to kill you now, are you prepared for what comes afterwards?"

The ox shuddered with the claw pointing directly at his throat, "N-No…No I am not ready to die…"

Johan released him, "They are not ready to face God. We face an enemy with endless drones to fight. We can not win by trading him man-for-man. If you wish to face him, so be it. Join the army, and I will let any fool who would follow someone so rash join you in battle and grave." Johan turned around and continued to march back to his sleeping spot.

The boar ran along side him, "Very well, we will… calm the others."

Johan snarled, and the boar understood his presence was no longer desired.

As Johan walked, he passed the young prince, talking with the red fox noble.

"He's not in the right mood." The boy, Elias explained.

The Red Fox appeared visibly frustrated, "He seems to never be in the right mood. We had an agreement, and now I feel as though you do not wish to honor your end of our bargain." His fists were shaking, and tears of anger boiled over his eyes.

"Don't call me a liar!" Elias pointed in the fox's face, "I am doing everything I can. We are pushed on all sides, and I'm still…" His words fell flat.

Johan continued to his trip. How it seemed that everyone had doubts in their minds and hearts. Was their faith in him so easily shaken? Johan shook his head. He would see Gewis before the night was done. Gewis was faithful, and put his trust in Johan. He knew above all others that Johan would save them.

Johan trudged up to the room area, and notice Gewis was asleep, not in his bed, but at a table. Johan crept across the wooden floors, and crawled towards the white fox.

The boy was exhausted. His equipment was all around, placed in spots were he could easily get to them. His rifle remained partially cleaned on his bed area. The room was dimly lit, save for a single light over the young fox's head. Around his arms were papers, dotted with ink and numbers.

They appeared to be reports, and records of weapons and ammo. Johan then looked down at the piece of paper in front of Gewis, which had been freshly written.

Johan's eyes followed down the white paper.

Dear Sonar Hello, Sonar Good day, Sonar Salute, Sonar To My friend Sonar

To my beloved Sonar. To the coole

Dear Sonar,

Greetings Hello, Do you hate me? Are you enjoying the big life as a princess?

I hope you are doing good. I won't lie, we are desperate. We have so many volunteers here, and so few guns. The Wolverine is now Marshal of the realm, and he has sum pointless interesting training ideas.

Things do not look good. I don't think that know Johan knows what he's doing, but I don't know if what he is doing is good for the kingdom. We need guns. I know your kingdom has is far away, but we need all the help we can get. We are so close to dying. This may be our last stand. I We need your help.

If you could spare anything to help us, I would love be grateful.

With best of wishes,

Lewis Birchfox Gewis

Johan backed away from the fox. Everyone truly did not understand him. It was easy to accept that they were fools. It didn't change that he needed their faith in him.

Johan sat under the moon light, looking up at the large stone in the sky. Strangely enough, he found himself excited. Johan had to do something he hadn't done in a long time: prove himself to his men.

He would do just that.

Alright, so… Sonic's escape plan was more of an… escape impulse. He tried to get out, and now he's roughed up pretty bad. Fiona deal with restlessness, and Johan deals with doubters, even in his closest corner. Pressure continues to build, not just from physical enemies.
