Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 3
The next morning Penelope had woken up exhausted with a busting headache, she blew out a deep breath and rubbed her temples, she sighed and said "Garcie you had wayyyyy to much to drink last nightttttt, yes you did". Derek grinned from behind her and said "good morning goddess", she jumped and turned to look at him, she said, "uh uh uh, Derek what are you doing here?", she then raised the sheet to see that she was completely naked, she pulled the covers tight against her and said, "uhhh, what happened, did we, uhhh, did we?", Derek said, "we did baby girl and it was amazingggg".
She looked at him, her mouth flew open, she said, "waittttttt, whattttttt?" he said, "last night we were at the bar, you got to talking about your breakup with Kevin, do you remember that?", she nodded her head and said, "yes, yes, I remember that". He said, "then I brought you home and was gonna help you into bed and leave buttttt you had other things on your mind last night".
Penelope blushed and said, "wh, wh uhhhh, what did I say and do last night?", Derek said, "well for starters you told me that you loved me and wanted me, you wanted to be with me last night", she said, "I did?", to which he nodded his head and said, "yes". Derek told her how he had tried to get away from her, how he tried to convince her that they needed to wait until she was sober but that she wouldn't have any of that, she wanted Derek and she would have him.
She said, "ohhhhhh hotstuff, I am so sorry", he said, "don't be, I'm not", she looked down as he turned his head to the side, she said, "oh my God, did I do that to you, did I put all of those hickies on your neck?", he grinned and said, "that you did baby girl, you marked me as yours last night and took ohhh such great pleasure in doing so too".
Derek put his finger under her chin and said, "look at me Penelope", she said, "I can't, I'm soooooo ashamed of what I did", Derek said, "I need to ask you a few questions this morning and I need you to look at me". She looked at him and he said, "do you still love me?", she nodded her head and said, "I do, I always have", he grinned and said, "do you regret us being together last night?", she said, "I regret that I can't remember anything and that I was drunk but that's all that I regret".
Derek smiled at her and said, "wellllll, if you can't remember, how about I show you a little of what happened last night?", she said. "Derek I" and then he preceeded to show her several time what had indeed happened between them the night before. Derek and Penelope made love several times before falling asleep again wrapped in each others arms, they woke up around 9 to the osund of their cells ringing, they blindly grabbed for their phones and said, "Morgan", 'Garcia", what they didn't realize was that they had grabbed the wrong phone.
They looked at each other and grinned and said "I'm on my way" before ending the call, Derek then looked at her and said, "nowwwwww, since I gave you a reminder of what happened between us last night I have a question for you". She said, "what question is that?", Derek said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, will you please be my girlfriend?", she said, "m m me, you want me to be your girlfriend?", he said, "well I want you to be my wife butttttt for now I'll settle for you being my girlfriend".
She nodded her head yes and said, "yes Derek, my answer is yes, yes I'll be your girlfriend", he pulled her into his arms and kissed her liips gently, they pulled apart and said, "to be continued later?", she said, "absolutely", before they climbed out of bed, got dressed and headed in to work. The team got called out on a case that day and were gone for almost a week but when they returned to say that Derek and Penelope made up for lost time would be an understatement.
End Of Flashback
Penelope was pulled back to reality when hse heard Derek calling her name, she jumped and said, "angel fish, when did you get here?", he said, " a few minutes ago, are you alright?", she nodded her head and said, "yeah, yeah I'm fine", she slid the pregnancy test down beside her and said, "welcome back tall dark and sexy" as she claimed his lips with hers.
Not wanting Derek to see the pregnancy test she dropped it onto the rug, right now her focus was on keeping Derek occupied so that he wouldn't see the test, she needed to see a doctor to see how far along she was before telling Derek the results. She needed to try to figure out who was the father of the baby growing inside her, was it the love of her life Derek Michael Morgan or the biggest mistake she had ever made named Kevin Archibald Lynch, hopefully in a few hours she would know and the sooner she knew the better.
