Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 7
As she was getting ready to say the first word Kevin stood up and said, :"I want to know why I'm here", Reid looked at him and said, "shut up Kevin and sit down", Kevin looked at Reid and said, "what gives you the right to tell me to shut up, you didn't call this little meeting so only Penelope can tell me to shut up".
Penelope shook her head and said, "well then in that case, Kevin", Kevin looked at her and said, "yes my beautiful plumsauce?", Penelope said, "don't call me that and sit down and shut up", Kevin's mouth flew open but he sat down and looked around the room at all of the smiling faces that were around him.
Penelope said, "the reason I have brought everybody together is I have something that I need to say and it will effect everybody in this room to a certain extent", Kevin was even more confused now after hearing that then he was before but he sat listening as she said, "you all remember that Kevin and I were dating but I broke up with him because he cheated on me, right?" to which everybody nodded their heads yes.
Kevin said, "I resent that comment", Penelope said, "I'm sure you do but shut up and listen to me Kevin", he sat back in his seat and listened as she said, "well the team and I all went out for drinks, they wanted to help me blow off some steam and welllll I got a little too drunk and wasn't able to drive myself home sooooooo hotstuff here drove me".
Derek smiled alt her and sat quietly listening as she continued, Penelope said, "one thing led to another that night and I ended up having sex with Derek", Kevn stood up again and said, "waittt, what, you slut", Derek jumped up and grabbed him by the shirt and said, "what did you just all my girlfriend?", Reid, Hotch and Dave jumped up and were finally able to pull Derek off of Kevin.
Emily leaned in to JJ and said, "I wish they would have let Morgan beat his ass for him", JJ grinned and said, "me too Em, me too" as everybody's attention then returned back to Penelope as she readied to continue.
Penelope said, "this morning I took a home pregnancy test and it was positive", Derek and Kevin stood up and looked at each other and then Penelope, Kevin smiled and said, "we're having a baby?", Penelope stepped back as he started walking toward her, she held up her hand for him to stop but he kept coming.
Derek jumped in front of Penelope and looked at Kevin and said, "how do you know it's yours, Penelope and I are together now, the baby could be mine", Kevin shook his head and siad, "no the baby is mine and now me and Penelope can be a family with our child", as he reached around Derek and tried to touch Penelope.
Reid walked over and pulled Kevin back and said, "don't touch her", Kevin said, "you heard what she said Reid, she said that we're going to have a baby", Reid said, "no she didn't, what she said was that she was pregnant, not that you were the father so calm down, sit down and shut up and let her talk".
When everybody was quiet again she said, "as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, the test was positive so I went to see my doctor to make sure if I was indeed pregnant or not", Derek intertwined fingers with her as she said, "and I am indeed pregnant, around 6 weeks along, so as to the question as to who the father is, right now I have no idea because I was with both Derek and Kevin during that time".
Dave said, "so kitten what do you want to do?", Penelope said, "right now I just wanted to let everybody know what was going on but I am going to think about what comes next, I have a decision to make, do I want to keep this baby or do I want to end this pregnancy?",Kevin jumped up again and said, "you have no right to make that decision alone, that's my baby too" as he lunged for Penelope.
Derek stood up and quickly punched Kevin in the stomach causing him to drop to the floor, he then pointed down at him and said, "don't you ever touch her, this is her decision, this is her body and her baby, right now we don't know who the father is so shut up Kevin and if you ever try to touch her like that again I swear i will end you, ya got it?", Kevin got up off the floor and nodded his head yes.
He looked at Penelope and said, "I never thought I'd see the day that you, Penelope Garcia would become a slut but looking at your knocked up ass I can see now that that's exactly what you are", he then turned around and walked across the room and out the door leaving behind a gobsmacked Penelope and BAU team behind.
Derek pulled her into his arms and said ,"whatever you want to do sweetness, we will back you all the way", Penelope looked around the room to see 5 other heads nodding yes in agreement with what Derek had said, she sat down and put her head in her hands and kept saying over and over, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry".
Derek hugged her tight and said "I love you baby girl, always have and always will and nothing is gonna change that, I'm here with you and I will always be by your side", she relaxed in his embrace as she broke down in tears at what had just happened
