Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 10
For the next couple of hours the four women continued looking at all things baby online while taking notes as to what Penelope and the baby would need, they were all having a great day, she loved spending time with Fran and the girls, they had become family to her a long long time ago and that would never change, no matter whose baby she was carrying.
Around 1:00 Fran said, "I have an idea, why don't we all head to casa Rossi and I'll prepare an amazing dinner for all of us, we can invite the rest of the team over and spend an evening watching movies and playing with Jack and Henry", Penelope sighed happily and said, "that sounds like a great idea Fran, I'd love that".
Penelope said, "I need to get changed first though", Fran said, "you go and do that and we'll contact the others", Penelope said, "I'll be there as soon as I can", Sarah said, "how about you ride with us that way Derek can bring you home later, that is unless everybody decides to spend the night, in which case that would be amazingggggg".
Fran said, "sounds good, what do you think honey?", Penelope said, "I don't want to put anybody out", Desi said, "you're not putting anybody out, you're family and we're going to have a family day so come on, pleaseeeeee, pleaseeeee Penelope?",Penelope looked at the youngest Morgan daughter and saw that she was fake pouting to get her way so after thinking for a few seconds she said, "okay, okay, I give, I give, I can never say no to any of you Morgans" causing the trio of Morgan women to grin at each other as they watched Penelope walk across the living room and disappear through the beaded curtain.
By the time Penelope had gotten ready and walked back out to the living room everybody had already agreed to spend a family day at casa Rossi and they were bringing some clothes so that they could spend the night together as a family because right now that is what Penelope needed, family and if that's what she needed then that was what she was going to get.
Penelope grabbed her purse and said, "alright ladies, I'm ready", the women all smiled as they followed Penelope across the room, she opened the door and they stepped out into the hallway while she locked and shut her front door before they all headed down the corridor that led to the elevator.
Once they stepped on Penelope slid her hand down to her stomach and wondered just who the father was, she knew that the baby was innocent in everything and all she wanted was a happy, healthy baby, the sex of the baby didn't matter, all that did matter was that the baby growing inside her was a Morgan but now only time would tell if she would get her wish.
By the time the women arrived back home everybody was there and waiting on them, Derek had even brought Clooney with him, he knew that Penelope loved Clooney as much as he did and knew that she had missed him and brining Clooney gave the boys and Mudgie somebody to play with so it was a win win situation.
When Penelope walked through the door Clooney heard her voice and started running toward her barking, Derek said, "easy buddy, don't jump on mommy, okay?", Reid looked at JJ and mouthed, "don't jump on mommy?" to which JJ could only grin and shrug her shoulders as they watched the others walk through the front door.
When Clooney got in front of Penelope she said, "hey buddy, how's mommy's boy, are you good, has daddy been good to you?", Clooney started barking and wagging his tail as if to say that he was good, he then looked up at her stomach and started whining, Penelope said, "what's wrong buddy?", Derek said, "I think he senses th y" causing her to grin as her hand slid down to her stomach.
She walked over to the couch and sat down, she then called for Clooney he ran over and jumped up beside her, he then started sniffing her, he then laid his head gently down on her stomach and closed his eyes, Dave said, "that's amazing, he can sense the baby and he's already protective of him or her, animals are amazing creatures aren't they?", causing everybody to smile and nod their heads yes in agreement.
Fran, Sarah and Desi excused themselves to go make dinner, Jack and Henry climbed up on the couch beside Penelope, they snuggled together and Penelope said, "how are my boys doing, are you guys okay?", Jack said, "yuppp, we're good auntie P", Henry said, "uh huh, we good, we good", a couple of seconds later their attention fell to the floor and Mudgie.
Penelope said, "what's wrong Mudgie, you want up here too?", the dog barked and wagged his tail and waited for Penelope to say, "come on" before jumping up to join her and the others, Derek stood shaking his head and said, "it looks like I've been replaced by two little boys and two dogs" to which Penelope replied, "you'll never be replaced hotstuff, their is nobody that can everrrr take your place", Derek smiled and said, "I feel the same way about you goddess".
Jack and Henry rolled their eyes and said, "eeewwwwwwww" in unison causing the room to then be filled with laughter
