Lois paces back and forth inside Perry's office. She doesn't know what to do. Lex had already taken down three heroes and escaped. What was his plan now?
"Mr. White, Miss Lane has a visitor." A guard says.
"Who is it?" Perry asks.
Lois's father, Sam Lane, walks into the office.
"General." Perry reacts, standing up straight.
"At ease." Sam says.
"Daddy, what are you doing here?" Lois asks.
"I came to make sure you're alright, are you?" Sam asks.
"I'm fine. How do you feel doing that endorsement for Luthor now?" Lois asks.
"I was wrong Lois." Sam concedes.
"What's the situation general?" Perry asks.
"Lex took out three enhanced beings. The Martian's are M.I.A, while Superboy claims Lex stripped him of his powers.
"Stripped him of his powers?" Lois responds.
"He claims Lex exposed him to some special form a kryptonite." Sam says.
Lois's heart sinks. Does Lex really have a way to take away a kryptonian's powers? She wonders.
"Where is Lex now?" Perry asks.
"He's in the air. We're tracking him. Best we can tell, he's heading for D.C. We have troops there waiting for him." Sam says.
"Superman, where are you?" Lois asks to herself.
Lex Luthor flies his helicopter high over Washington D.C. He can see the streets near the capital lined with troops. He brings his copter down in the backyard of the White House. General Hardcastle is waiting there to meet him.
"Hardcastle to Lane come in Lane." The general says over his radio.
"Lane here." Sam says.
"Luthor's helicopter has just landed." Hardcastle says.
"Getting visual of the situation now." Sam says as he pulls out his laptop.
Lex exits he copter. He stands in front of General Hardcastle, who has an army of troops behind him.
"That's far enough." Hardcastle says, his troops all aimed at Lex.
"Of course, general." Lex says.
"Lex, it's over, it's time to turn yourself in and confess to your crimes." Hardcastle says.
"Crimes? I haven't been charged with anything." Lex says.
"You saying the Planet article isn't true?" Hardcastle asks.
"I'll just leave that at no comment." Lex says.
"Lex, stand down." Hardcastle says, raising his gun.
Lex rolls his head around.
"Don't you know, that all your weaponry is LexCorp tech? I have a kill switch for it all." Lex says.
"It was LexCorp tech. After reviewing our contracts with you following that Atlantis deal a few years back, we started looking at other companies. Namely Kord Industries." Hardcastle says.
"I already know that. That's why after Ted Kord died, I bought his company." Lex says.
"You what?" Hardcastle asks.
Lex pulls out a remote and hits a button.
"Hey my gun is jammed." One of the troops says.
"Mine too." Another responds.
Hardcastle tries to pull his trigger, but he can't.
"General there's something coming down from the sky." Sam says as he looks on at his radar.
General Hardcastle looks up at the sky. He sees something that looks like a giant cargo container flying down.
"What in the-" Hardcastle begins.
Perry, Lois and Sam look on, on Sam's computer screen.
"Great Cesar's ghost!" Perry exclaims.
The mysterious vehicle opens a door on the side. A humanoid looking troop flies out of it. Then another, and another. As they get closer, General Hardcastle can see that these troops aren't people, but robots. Lex has an entire robot army ready to counter attack, and General Hardcastle's troops are unarmed.
"RETREAT!" General Hardcastle yells out.
Lex's army of robots come in fast. They begin firing at the troops, mowing them down in quick fashion. As General Hardcastle runs back, he is hit.
"Hardcastle come in, General!" Sam yells.
But it's too late, General Hardcastle has been taken out.
Flanked by his robot army, Lex makes his way through the White House, until he reaches the Oval Office. The president is inside along with a few secret service members. Lex's robots take aim and take out the secret service members.
"Now then, let's talk the terms of your surrender." Lex says.
