Lex just stands there eyeing Wonder Woman. He doesn't say a word.

"YAH!" Wonder Woman yells as she charges towards Lex.

In an instant, Wonder Woman is shoulder tackled back and slammed to the ground. But by who. It wasn't Lex. It was dark as the sun had just set. There was a cloud of dust as Wonder Woman hit the ground. But she could see a figure. It was a female figure. She wore a black suit similar to Superman's with a red "L" on her chest. It was Kara Zor-El. She was wearing the necklace of red kryptonite. A necklace that gave Lex total control over her mind.

"Allow me to introduce you to Red Daughter." Lex says.

"What is this?" Wonder Woman asks.

"Take care of her, I have other business to attend to." Lex says, as he begins to walk off.

Wonder Woman rises to her feet and tries to go after him, but Red Daughter gets in her way.

"Don't make me fight you." Wonder Woman says.

Red Daughter smirks as she extends her palm, pushing Wonder Woman back. Wonder Woman remains on her feet, but she can tell that whatever this is, it's powerful. Wonder Woman lunges forward and punches her square in the cheek. Red Daughter rubs he face, her eyes then glow red and she emits a beam of heat vision. Wonder Woman gets her bracelets up in time to block, but is still pushed back. Red Daughter flies into the night sky. Wonder Woman flies up in pursuit.

The battle continues in the air. Wonder Woman grabs at Red Daughter's cape. But Red Daughter turns around and punches Wonder Woman in the face. Red Daughter flies towards Wonder Woman and hits her in the gut. This gives Wonder Woman the advantage however, as she in able to put Red Daughter in a headlock. She is able to spin Red Daughter around and throw her off. Wonder Woman then flies towards Red Daughter and punches her square in the face. She hits punches on her again and again. That is until Red Daughter gets really angry and unleashes her heat vision once more. Wonder Woman isn't ready for it and is hit in the shoulder.

"AH!" Wonder Woman yells in pain as she grabs her bleeding shoulder.

Red Daughter grabs Wonder Woman, spins her around, and throws her into the side of the Washington Monument. Wonder Woman doesn't quite smash through the wall, but she leaves a good indent in the side of it. As she tries to collect herself, Red Daughter charges again, she grabs Wonder Woman and throws her down into the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool. Red Daughter flies down and holds Wonder Woman's head beneath the water. Wonder Woman gasp as she tries to get her head above water. She reaches around and is able to find Red Daughter's head. She then is able to flip Red Daughter over her back. Wonder Woman gasps as she fights for air. Red Daughter rises from beneath the water. However, Wonder Woman is ready this time. She grabs her golden lasso and ropes up Red Daughter with it. Red Daughter struggles to free herself, and Wonder Woman struggles to keep her restrained.

"Hera, give me strength." Wonder Woman says.

But Wonder Woman's arm is injured and her strength gives out. As Red Daughter fights, Wonder Woman falls to her knees in the reflecting pool. The water doesn't help Wonder Woman's situation as she loses her grip on the lasso. Red Daughter is able to spin around and free herself. She then flies back down and hits Wonder Woman in the face with both her fists. Red Daughter then flies back around and scoops Wonder Woman out of the pool. She flies her into the sky, but Wonder Woman wiggles free. She tries to punch back at Red Daughter, but she is losing strength. Red Daughter punches her to the ground once more. This time Wonder Woman lands on the pavement in front of the Capitol Building. Red Daughter rips up a piece of the sidewalk, and smashes Wonder Woman with it. She turns and begins to walk away.

Just then, the piece of sidewalk begins to move. Red Daughter turns back around to study it. Wonder Woman pushes to concrete off and stands up. She it tired and out of breath. Instead of fighting, Wonder Woman chooses to retreat and flies off.

Red Daughter throws Wonder Woman's tiara onto Lex's desk back at the White House. Lex picks it up and studies it.

"Excellent." Lex says.

"Now leave, it is time for me to address my people." Lex says.

"As you wish." Red Daughter says as she exits the Oval Office.

Lex sets up his broadcast to the American people. It cuts into every feed in the country. If a television is on, this is what they are seeing.

"My fellow American's, I know a lot has been said about me over the past few days. But I assure you this, everything I do is for your own good. I have succeeded in taking down the members of this Injustice League. Your army was so weak that I was able to immobilize them at every level. My team will run things far more efficiently. Superman is gone, but I promise I will protect you. The price of security is high, but it's a price I'm willing to pay. For now, Martial Law is in effect. Return to your homes. Tomorrow and new world will begin. Thank you and good night." Lex says.

Bruce lies in his bed watching this, unable to move, with Dick Grayson and Alfred at his side. Barry watches on in the hospital, at Wally's bedside. M'gann watches from her Uncle J'onn's apartment in Chicago. Arthur watches the broadcast from his throne room in Atlantis. Even heroes not affiliated with the Justice League had been defeated. Such as the Titans, Green Arrow and the Shazam family. Wonder Woman flies down to the shores of Themyscira. For the first time in over one hundred years, she returns home.
