Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 20
The next morning Derek woke up and looked down at the woman sleeping in his arms and smiled, he loved this woman, she was his, she was his now and he wouldn't let Kevin or anybody else take her and their child away, his hand slid gently down to her stomach, he smiled wider and whispered,"hello in there little one I'm your daddy and I'll be your daddy forever and ever no matter what".
Penelope opened her eyes and looked over her shoulder and said, "do you really mean that?", he said, "of course I do, this baby will be mine regardless of who the biological father is", she leaned in and brushed her lips against his and said, "I love you Derek Michael Morgan, I love you soooooo much and that will never change".
He rested his forehead against hers and said, "you are my world baby girl, you and this baby are my world, my life, my everything", Penelope blew out a deep breath and said, "so now what do we do, I still have a few months before I can have an amnio to see who the father of this baby truly is and we both know that Kevin isn't gonna stop acting out because he thinks he's right in everything because he thinks this baby is his".
Derek said, "I won't let Derek hurt you or our baby", Penelope said, "I know that you'll try to keep us safe, you all will but", Derek said, "how about if we", Penelope said, "how about if we what?", Derek said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the entire world for the rest of our lives?", tears streamed down her cheeks and she said, "are you serious?", he said, "I've never been more serious".
Penelope wiped away the tears and said, "if you're serious then yes, yes, yes, I'll marry you and the sooner the better", Derek nodded his head in agreement and said, "let's get the family together and see how long it will take to get us married", she nodded her head yes as she grabbed for her cell and sent a group text to everybody in their family.
It only took a matter of a few minutes before they started getting congratulations texts and everybody agreed to meet so they decided to meet at the Rossi mansion so that they could get the wedding planned because the sooner they got married the sooner Kevin would become less of a threat to Penelope and right now keeping her and the baby safe and out of Kevin's reach was their goal.
Derek and Penelope got dressed and headed to casa Rossi to meet with the others, they needed to see how many if any strings Dave and Hotch could pull to get them a marriage license and minister while Fran, Sarah and Desi worked on a menu for a small family reception dinner to celebrate the wedding of Derek and Penelope.
Penelope and Derek decided to make the wedding as simple as possible with only their family in attendance, they didn't need or want a big wedding, right now all they wanted was to be married to each other and with all of the family working together they didn't have a doubt that the wedding would happen and soon, very very soon.
Hotch smiled as he walked over to the group, he said, "well I was able to get a marriage license, we can pick it up at noon, now if we only had a judge or minister that could do the ceremony", Dave said, "wellllll I guess that's where my news will come in", they all looked at Dave as he said, " I just got off the phone with Judge Kane and he said that he would be glad to preside over your ceremony but the earliest he can get you in is noon". Derek looked at Penelope and said, "what about that sweetness, are you ready to become Mrs. Derek Morgan in a couple of hours?", she threw her arms around his waist and said, "I am my love, I am".
JJ looked at Emily and then at Penelope and said, "alright, we need to get you dressed", Penelope said, "but into what, almost all of my clothes were destroyed by the person that broke into my apartment", JJ smiled and said, "your dress is already taken care of Garcie" as Emily held up a dress in a covered bag", Penelope smiled and said, "I love you girls, I love you soooooo much" as she threw her arms around the girls as they quickly then made their way from the room to head upstairs to get her dressed and ready for her wedding to Derek.
Dave put his hand on Derek's shoulder and said, "now for you son", Derek said, "now about me what?", he said, "we need to get you ready", Derek said, "wait, what?", Reid laughed and said, "come on Morgan, let's get you dressed so that we can head to the courthouse to finallyyyyyy get you and Penelope married", Derek nodded his head yes as he followed the others from the room to get dressed to marry the love of his life.
