Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 23
When everybody got back to casa Rossi they were laughing and talking as they walked through the front door, Penelope sighed happily and said ,"was that real, are we really married?", Derek intertwined their left hands and held them up so that she could see the wedding bands, he then brought her hand to his lips and kissed it and said, "oh it's real alright ".
She grinned and said, "Mrs. Morgan, now that's a name that I never thought I'd have, not in a million years", Derek pulled her into his arms and kissed her lips gently and said, "well you better get use to it because you are stuck with me for the rest of our lives and their ain't no getting away from me, not now, not everrrrrr" as he claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss.
The team stood watching and smiling as the girls all snapped picture after picture of the newlyweds, when they pulled apart Fran said, "would you like to do your first dance as husband and wife now?", Penelope grinned and said, "what about you husband, would you like to dance with your wife?", he said, "wellllll I do believe that I would like that" as he led her through the open doors and outside where they would have plenty of room.
Fran looked at her son and he nodded his head yes, Penelope said, "what are the two of you up too now?", Derek said, "hmmmm, who, us, we're completely innocent", she said, "uh huh, sureeeee you are", Derek pulled her closer and said, "don't worry, you're gonna like the song I picked out earlier", she said, "ya think so?", he said,"I know so" as he kissed the end of her nose.
It was only a matter of a few ore seconds before All Of Me by John Legend started playing, she grinned at him and said, "you were right, I do like it" as she laid her head down on his chest, they danced their way across the yard with Derek humming in her ear and then the humming switched to him singing, she looked at him and sighed happily as he sang the song with nothing but pure love written all over his face.
Emily looked at Hotch and said, "I didn't know that Derek could sing", Hotch shrugged his shoulders and said, "yeah me either but he does have a nice voice", Reid grinned at his wife and said, "I never thought I'd see the day that Derek Morgan would sing, I better mark this date down because I want to remember it forever".
JJ laughed and said, "ohhhh you will, I'm recording it" as their attention then turned back to the dancing couple, they looked so amazing together, they fit perfectly together and as the family watched on all they could do was smile, they were smiling because the wedding between Derek and Penelope had been destined since the day they met.
After the dance ended Derek said, "how about another dance later?", she said, :I do believe that I can pencil you in", he laughed and said, "oh you better baby girl, you better", they then intertwined hands again and followed the others back inside to enjoy the reception/family dinner to celebrate their marriage.
When they all sat down at the table Dave said, "I would like to propose a toast", everybody raised their glasses, some had wine, Penelope had ice tea and the youngest members of the team had milk in their glasses, Dave smiled as he looked around the table at all of his amazing family, they had been through alot together and now that they had one new addition, soon to be two, they had a reason to celebrate.
Dave said, "I am so happy for you both, you two belong together, you always have, I wish you a life filled with love, peace, joy and happiness, because if anybody deserves it, it's the two of you", Derek and Penelope looked at each other, they leaned in and shared a kiss as Dave said, "to Derek and Penelope", everybody said, "to Derek and Penelope" in unison.
When the toast was over Fran said, "alright, I hope everybody is hungry because I do believe we've fixed enough to feed an army", Reid looked around at the full table and said, "that's good because you have one here", everybody laughed and nodded their heads yes in agreement as they started enjoying the delicious food that was prepared by Fran, Sarah and Desi.
