Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 26
The next morning Derek and Penelope woke up to the sound of their ringing cells, Derek reached over on the dresser and said, "Morgan" the same time that Penelope said, "Garcia", they looked at each other and grinned but turned serious and said, "I'll be right there", they ended the call and leaned in and shared a kiss before getting up, getting dressed and heading for the BAU..
When they stepped off of the elevator Hotch said, "we've got a bad one but it's not far away so let's get to the round table room and debrief and head out", they all nodded their heads yes and followed Hotch up the corridor and stepped through the double doors where they saw the rest of the team start for the stairs.
Once they were all seated Hotch went over the specifics of the case, how somebody was breaking into victims homes, paralyzing them and then cutting and carving on them leaving them alive after a few hours of torture, Penelope covered her mouth and said, ,"I soooo didn't need to see that" as the pictures of the crime scenes appeared in front of her.
Derek reached over and put his hand on hers and weakly smiled, he knew that seeing those kinds of pictures were hard on here on a good day but with her being almost two months pregnant the sight of what's in the pictures was obviously making her nauseated, he gently squeezed her hand as their attention turned back to the debrief.
When the debrief was over Hotch said, "alright, let's head out, with the case close we won't have to fly and we might be able to come home at night", he then looked at Penelope and told her the information he would need, she said ,"on it bossman" as she stood up and followed the others out of the room.
Derek walked down the stairs with her and she followed them to the elevators, she watched as they got on, she then said, "be safe my heroes", they smiled alt her and said, "always", she then watched as the doors closed before blowing out a deep breath and saying, "let's go to the little girls room and grab a cup of tea because it's gonna be a longggg day".
Penelope headed down the hall and smiled as she saw Anderson walking up to her, he said, "I guess I'll be your shadow while the team is gone", she said, "not a problem", he said, "so what are we doing first?", Penelope said, "well I have to use the ladies and then I'm gonna grab a cup of tea before heading back to my lair".
Anderson nodded his head and said, "I'll just follow you and wait out in the hall", she said, "okay, cool" as they continued making their way toward the bathrooms at the end of the hall, when she pushed the door open and stepped inside Anderson stood guard outside, just because he hadn't seen Kevin today didn't mean that he wasn't here.
Penelope had done her business and was washing her hands when the bathroom door opened, she gasped and screamed, "KEVINNNNNNNNNNNN", he quickly covered her mouth with a cloth, she struggled in his arms but soon started losing consciousness and the last thing she heard before everything turn black was, "don't worry this won't hurt the baby".
What Penelope didn't know was that Kevin had sneaked up on Anderson and knocked him out and dragged him to the closet, he had gotten on a computer and turned off the security cameras so that nobody would see what he was doing, what he didn't know was that Penelope had put a program into operation a few days before she had broken up with him that would bypass any outages and keep recording.
As he carried her toward the fire exit he smiled down at her and said, "don't worry plumsauce, we'll be together soon and soon you'll be Mrs. Kevin Lynch", the grin on his face only widdened as he put her into the back seat of the car and covered her up so that passers by couldnl't see anything.
As he pulled away from the BAU building Kevin grinned and said, "she's mine now Morgan, you've lost, you've lost her to me foreverrrrrr".
