Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 27
Derek and the team were already on site at the latest crime scene and they still hadn't heard anything from Penelope and that was odd, by now she usually has at least a preliminary report on all of the victims but so far nothing, Derek glanced at his watch and then looked at JJ and said, "this isn't like baby girl" to which JJ shook her head and said, "no, no it isn't" as she pulled her cell from her belt and walked away.
While the rest of the team was off looking at the crime scene to see if they could find a way of figuring out anything about the unsub JJ hit Penellope's number and nothing, it went straight to voicemail, JJ said, "that's not right, she always answers us when we are out on a case just to make sure that we're alright",
JJ tried several more times, she even dialed her office number and got nothing, she then got Hotch's attention and when he joined her she said, "Hotch, something is up with Garcia, I've tried her cell several times and even her office number and nothing", Hotch said, "I don't like this, all Anderson and see what's going on", she nodded her head yes as she pulled up Anderson's number.
After a couple of rings a female answered Anderson's cell and said, "Agent Reid this is Agent Sumner", JJ said, "why do you have Anderson's cell, is something wrong?", she said, "yes mam, he was attacked and knocked out, he's being treated by medics at this time", JJ said, "what about Garcia, what about Penelope?", the younger agent said, "I'm sorry mam but she she's gone, she's been kidnapped".
JJ said, "kidnapped, what do you mean she's been kidnapped?", hearing that Derek and the others stopped what they were doing and ran to JJ's side, they stood there waiting to see what had happened to Penelope, Hotch took JJ's cell and said, "Agent Sumner I want you to get analyst Sanders and get her to check all footage, we need to find out where Penelope is and we need to do it now".
The agent said, "yes mam" as the call ended, Hotch then turned to face the others and Derek said, "Hotch, man, what's up with Garcia, what happened to my wife?", Dave put his hand on his step sons shoulder as Hotch looked at JJ and nodded his head for her to tell them what had happened.
JJ then said, "according to what Agent Sumner told me, Anderson has been knocked out and is being treated by medics at this time", Emily said ,"and PG?", Derek's heart fell into his stomach and he dropped to his knees when JJ said, "she she's been kidnapped", Reid and Dave picked Derek up off of the ground and Derek said ,"it was Kevin wasn't it, he did this, Kevin took baby girl?", JJ said, "we don't know for sure but we're getting analyst Sanders to check things out and when she finds something she'll let us know".
Dave pulled his cell out and called the director, Derek watched as his step father explained what was going on and how Derek and Penelope were now married, the director told them to come home that he would arrange for B team to take over the case, he always told Dave that all of FBI was at his disposal, they were to do anything and everything to get Penelope back.
When the call ended Dave said, "we're heading home, the director is going to send B team here to take over the case", Derek and the others then ran toward their waiting SUVs, they had to get back home they had to find Penelope and the sooner they found her and got her away from whoever had her the better.
Meanwhile Penelope starts waking up, she tries to move by finds her arms chained to the way by an extremely long chain, she pulls on the chains and said, "what the?", she then tries to move her feet and sees that they too are chained to the bed, she looks around and sees nothing but a covered cart on the other side of the room.
Her attention then turns to the door as she hears it creaking as it starts to open, her heart was racing and she shook her head no in disbelief as she saw Kevin walk into the room, he grins at her and says, "welcome to our new home plumsauce", Penelope pulled on her chains and said, "don't do this, let me go Kevin, let me goooooooooo" and all she got in return was the sound of laughter coming from the psycho standing in front of her.
