Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 36
Penelope and the other Morgan women were having a wonderful evening, they were laughing and talking about the baby and watching movies, it was a nice relaxing evening and after everything Penelope had been through, it's exactly what she needed, she was having such a great time with Fran and the girls that she didn't hear her cell ringing.
Sarah said, "Penelope, I think you're cell is ringing", Penelope picked it up and said, "ohhhh, sorry I put it on vibrate so it wouldn't interrupt the movie", she grinned as she looked down and saw "Hotstuff" flashing on the ID, she then hit talk and said, "how's it going hotstuff, caught the baddie yet?", he said ,"sure did sweetness, we're on the way home right now".
Penelope said, "awwww and you had to call little ole me didn't ya, do you miss me that much?", Derek ran his hand over his head and said ,"of course I do, I haven't seen my wife in a few days and I miss her and our baby", Penelope said, "good answer angelfish, good answer", after a few seconds they both started laughing.
Derek looked across the jet and saw that Hotch and Dave were having a discussion with somebody on the phone and from the look on their faces, whatever news they were getting, wasn't good, it wasn't good at all, he said, "so how are you doing, you being good?", Penelope said, "but of course I am being good, we've been sitting around laughing, talking, eating and watching movies, it's been an amazing day".
Derek said, "that's good sweetness, I'm glad to hear that, glad to hear that", Penelope said, "so when will you be home?", Derek said, "we should be there in a couple of hours", he then put his hand over the phone and listened as Hotch and Dave filled him and the rest of the team in on what was happening.
JJ said, "are you kidding me, how did that happen?", Hotch said, "that's what we're going to find out but for now our focus is keeping Penelope and the baby safe", Dave said, "I've already contacted the police and they are sending more guards to the mansion and the alarm system is top notch and then we've always got Clooney and Mudgie, they aren't gonna let anybody hurt kitten".
Emily said, "we need to tell PG and the others what's going on", Derek nodded his head and then uncovered the phone and said, "baby girl I need for you to put me on speaker okay?", she said, "sure handsome" and then hit speaker, she said, "you've got all of us", Derek said, "baby what I have to tell you is going to come as a shock but I need for you to stay calm".
Fran and the girls looked at each other and then at Penelope as she said, "o o oh okay, I've got to tell ya handsome, you're scaring me", Derek said ,"baby, we just found out that Kevin got out on bond, he's out so chances are he's on his way over to see you", Penelope said, "n n no, no noooooooo, he can't come here, please don't let him hurt me or the baby".
Sarah said ,"he's not going to hurt you, we won't let him touch you Penelope and the team will be here soon", Dave said, "kitten we have more security on the way so stay in and don't answer the door for anybody until we get there", Fran said, "alright, we won't", Derek said, "I wish I was there with you sweetness", she said, I wish you were here too sugar".
Desi said, "don't worry big brother we won't let anything happen to her", Derek weakly smiled and said, "we'll be there as soon as we can, just stay away from windows and doors, keep Clooney and Mudgie with you and you always have the guns for backup", Penellpe said, "g g guns, I don't like guns, I don't like them at all".
Emily said, "we know that PG but hopefully you won't need them but it's good to know that you have them and that Fran, Sarah and Desi now how to use them", Penelope looked at her family and smiled, she said, "hurry home my team of crime fighters", Derek said, "we're on the way baby, we're on the way".
They were still talking when the doorbell started ringing, the women looked at each other and then at Penelope and Fran said, "let's just see who this is", she opened the cabinet doors and saw several cameras, one was the front door, Penelope gasped and said, "no, he can't be here, how did he know where I was?", Derek said, "don't worry sweetness, the police are on the way".
Sarah and Desi sat down on the bed beside Penelope, Clooney and Mudgie were practically in her lap, she said, "no matter what happens Derek, please know that I love you and being married to you has made me the happiest woman in the entire world", Derek said, "sweetness, don't worry he won't get to you, he won't, just stay safe and we'll be there soon", she said, "I love you", Derek said "and I love you baby girl and I love you".
