Penelope and the other Morgan women watched the tv screens as Kevin continued to knock over and over on the door then he would switch and start ringing the doorbell. Tears streamed down Penelope's face, as her free hand covered her stomach in an attempt to protect the child that was currently growing inside her.
Derek and the others listened helplessly as Kevin's knocking and doorbell ringing filled the air, Reid looked at the others and smiled, Derek said, "give me good news pretty boy", Reid said, "don't worry Anderson and several others are there, they'll stop him Derek", Derek said, "did you hear that sweetness, Anderson and several other agents are there, it's okay, you're safe, you're safe".
Penelope watched as Anderson walked up behind Kevin with his gun drawn, she watched as Kevon raised his hands and smirked at Anderson, Penelope felt her heart racing, she winced in pain, Fran said, "calm down honey, calm down, Anderson and the others will make him leave, just take some deep breaths".
Sarah and Desi worriedly watched their sister-in-law, she was terrified and who could blame her after what Kevin had done to her, Sarah reached out and took her hand and said, "don't worry P, it's going to be okay, it's going to be okay", Penelope nodded her head yes and weakly smiled as she watched Anderson slap the cuffs onto Kevin's wrists and lead him away.
Fran said, "it's over, he's gone, Anderson took him away", Derek said ,"how's baby girl doing?", Fran said, "she's terrified honey, she's cramping again, talk to her, you need to calm her down", Derek sadi ,"sweetness, listen to me, we've landed, we're on our way to you, just take deep breaths and we'll be there in a few minutes".
Penelope said, "this is never gonna be over, he's always gonna do this Derek, we will never get any peace", Derek said, "ohhhh but we will, we aren't gonna let Kevin Lynch ruin our happiness, we just got married, we're going to have a baby, we're going to have a life filled iwth nothing but joy, peace and happiness".
She wanted to believe that, ohhhhh how she wanted to believe that but with the way Kevin acted today she highly doubted that she would get the happy ending she had dreamed of with Derek and the baby, Fran patted Penelope on the hand and said, "just calm down honey, Derek and the others will be here in a few minutes, you need to calm down for the baby okay?", she nodded her head yes as she started taking slow, deep breaths to calm down.
Penelope was sitting with Clooney and Mudgie with her when the team came in a few minutes later, Derek was the first to be by her side, he took her into his arms and held her close, he rubbed his hand up and down her back as he told her over and over, "it's okay, it's over, I'm here, I'm here".
She completely broke down in his arms, she was safe, she was finally safe, Anderson and several other agents had managed to get Kevin away from her and now that Derek and the rest of the team was home she knew that they would do anything and everything that they could to keep not only her but her baby safe from the whims of a madman, named Kevin Lynch.
