Kevin sat smirking in an FBI interrogation room, he sat smuggly knowing that his attorney and long time family friend would have him out again in no time, he glanced up at the door as Marvin walked through smiling, he headed over and sat down across from Kevin and said ,"you were suppose to stay away from Penelope, remember?", Kevin said, "I have every right to see the mother of my child".
Marvin said, "Kevin, you have to do what I tell you to do or you'll end up back in jail, is that really where you want to be right now?", Kevin shook his head and said, "no but", their conversation ended when the door opened to reveal Reid and JJ walking into the room, Kevin sighed and said, "well to what do I owe the honor of your presence agents?", Reid stood looking down at the disgrace that was Kevin Lynch.
JJ crossed her arms over her chest and said, "are you proud of yourself Kevin?", Marvin said, "agents I am conferring with my client so I'm going to have to ask you to leave", Reid said, "we're not going anywhere until we say what we have to say to your client", Kevin said, "it's okay Marvin, let them say what they want to say so they will leave".
The duo stepped closer and Reid said, "do you realize what you're doing to Penelope?", Kevin said, "I'm not doing anything to her", JJ said "do you realize that after you kidnapped her and almost raped her that she had to be rushed to the hospital?", Kevin's heart started racing, he shook his head and said, "you're lying, their is nothing wrong with her".
Reid said, "for your information Garcia spent several days in the hospital and almost lost the baby", Kevin said, "a a almost lost the baby?", JJ said, "yes and the very day that we bring her home you pull this crap", Marvin looked at Kevin and saw that he knew that he had really overstepped by going to see her again today.
Kevin said, "is, is is she alright?", Reid said, "she is but Kevin you need to stop harassing her, she's under a lot of stress right now and that stress could cause her to lose the baby that you say you care so much about", Marvin said, "my client has every right to be concerned about the well being of the mother of his child".
JJ said, "what your client also needs to remember is that the baby stands the same chances of being Derek's as it does his", Kevin said, "that's not possible, plumsauce and I were together for a long time and we had sex several times in that time period, so compared to the one or two times she was with Derek, I'd say my chances of being that babies father are better".
Reid shook his head and said, "Kevin, you need to grow up and leave Penelope alone because if you don't stop the scare tactics you will cause her to lose this baby, now is that what you really want?", Kevin shook his head and said, "no, no I don't want to hurt her or our baby, I just want to be able to know how they are both doing, that's all".
JJ said, "their are channels that you can go through Kevin without doing what you did", Reid and JJ then turned around and headed toward the door but stopped and turned around as Reid said, "Garcia was going to get an amnio when she was far enough along to see who the father is but now, now with her condition unstable again thanks to you that might not happen".
Kevin looked up at them and said, "I'm sorry, please tell her that I'm sorry and that I won't bother her anymore, the only thing I ask is to be kept in the loop", Reid said, "we'll tell her but keep your promise and stay away from her Kevin", Marvin looked at Kevin and then at JJ and Reid as they turned around and headed out of the room leaving him alone once again with Kevin.
Marvin said, "you need to listen to them, if something happens and she loses this baby, everything you are trying to do will be for nothing", Kevin blew out a deep breath and said, "I've already lost her, she's married to Derek but I'll be damned if I lose my child too", Marvin said, "but you do realize that when the child is born, if DNA tests are needed and it turns out that you are not the father, then, you will have to back off?", Kevin nodded his head yes and said, "I do, but until then I won't lose hope, I won't, I can't, everything depends on me being the father to that baby".
Marvin sat across from Kevin shaking his head, he knew that Kevin now understood what he had done to Penelope and what it had almost cost him, what it had almost costed them all
