Two Blue Lines Change Everything-Ch 39
At Casa Rossi Fran looked up as JJ and Reid walked back through the door, she said, "there you two are, we were wondering where you went", JJ said , "Spence and I went to pay Kevin a little visit" but we got our point across so I don't think we'll have to worry about him, well at least not right now".
Hotch said, "what did he say?", JJ said, "he didn't want anything to happen to Penelope or the baby so he promised to stay away, he just wanted to be in the loop about how both Penelope and the baby were doing", Hotch nodded his head and said, "even though he said that he would back off we won't let our guard down".
Dave said, "he's almost cost Penelope her baby twice so no, no we won't let him off, we will keep an eye on him because something tells me that he's definitely up to something still", Reid said, "I agree, but what is he up too, that's the question", the team all looked at each other and nodded their heads in agreement.
Emily said, "we need to do a background search on Kevin to see just what we can come up with", Hotch said, "I agree Em" and she watched then as he turned around and walked across the room while pulling his cell from his belt, they heard his side of the conversation about asking for a deep dive on analyst Kevin Lynch.
When the call was over he walked back across the room and said, "she's going to do some checking for us and when she finds something she'll let us know", JJ sighed and said ,"how's Garcie doin?", Sarah and Desi walked into the room and Desi siad, "she's finally sleeping, don't worry, Derek's with her, she's okay".
Dave said, "poor kitten, right now should be one of the happiest times in her life but thanks to that wimp Kevin Lynch she's almost lost her baby twice", Fran said, "she was so happy the day she married Derek, then, then after what Kevin did it's hard for her to rest but with Derek and us by her side she'll get the rest that she needs".
Meanwhile in her room Penelope slept snuggled up to Derek, his arms were wrapped protectively around her as she slept, he loved her with his whole heart and he wouldn't let Kevin or anybody else hurt her or their baby. Derek kissed the top of her head gently and said, "I love you both so much and I won't let anybody or anything hurt you, we will be happy baby girl, you, me and our baby will be happy, i promise".
At the BAU the trusted analyst was doing her best to find something to help the team, they needed information on Kevin and information she would get them, she would help them to keep Kevin away from Penelope, she knew what Kevin had put Penelope through and she knew that if anybody deserved to be happy it was Penelope.
As her fingers flew across the keyboard she found out that Kevin was rich, very rich, his father was Archbald Lynch, one of the richest and most influential men in the world, the amount of power he held was impressive on many leverls and with Kevin being his only son what he needed was an heir.
She said, "got ya", she then picked up the phone and dialed Hotch's number and after a couple of rings she heard, "what were you able to find?", the tech smiled as she started filling Hotch and the others in on exactly what she had found and by the time the call was over they knew exactly why Kevin was fighting so hard to get Penelope and the baby.
After the call ended Dave said, "that sick bastard, he never cared about Penelope, the only thing he needed and wanted was an heir, so that's why he cheated on her, he was purposely trying to get an heir and when everything happened with Penelope he jumped at the chance hoping beyond all hope that the child kitten is carrying his his".
Fran said, "we've got to do whatever it takes to keep her and the baby safe and away from Kevin", the entire family looked at each other and nodded their heads yes, they would protect Penelope and the baby and no matter what Kevin would never get his hands on them, not now, not ever.
