CHAPTER 8: A naughty angel

With Emolga on Iris's team, Oshawott would have the chance of she becoming his mate. He had to behave well if he wanted to achieve that.

The day after the Emolga's capture by Iris. She, Ash, Cilan and Bianca continued with their road to Nimbasa City. During the trip, the girl with green hat wanted a battle against Emolga, and Iris accepted. During the battle they had some problems; for example, the sky squirrel didn't follow the orders of her trainer, she used Volt Switch to escape the combat, and Iris said to her that she had to fight, but Emolga feigned being sad so Iris didn't continue telling her off. After several drawbacks and problems related to the electric-flying Pokémon, it was lunch time. Ash took off all of his Pokémon so they can eat. Cilan give them some bowls with an apple for each one.

The Pokémon that ended to eat first was Emolga. She liked apples so much, but she didn't was satisfied at all, she wanted to eat more. After seeing her other partners still eating their respective apples, she had an idea. The flying squirrel used Attract on them so that they gave their red fruits to her.

In the group of four Pokémon, it was Tepig, Oshawott, Scraggy and Swadloon, eating tranquilly their apples, until from nowhere they suffered the effect of Emolga's Attract, all of them were in love with her. The sky squirrel later came closer to them and asked kindly to them to give her their apples, and they gave their food to her.

The time passed and the trainers and the other Pokémon ate the lunch. Emolga was the one who was most satisfied. Meanwhile, the four Pokémon that fell by Emolga's charm, they recovered from Attract and saw that the apples that were in the bowl were gone. Everyone thought that the group of the other side of the bowl had eaten them completely. A heated argument between Tepig and Oshawott's group, and Scraggy and Swadloon's group. They were accusing that the other group was who ate all the apples.

The anger was so much that they started to fight between them. It caused a commotion. Pikachu and Axew went to see what was happening, while Emolga stayed in the same place. Pikachu tried to stop the fight, but he was attacked by his partners so they can continue arguing. Axew in the meantime was desperate and didn't know what to do. Their trainers went to put order, and, thanks to Pikachu's Thunderbolt, everyone calmed by receiving the discharge.

After all the fuss, they had a serious conversation about what happened. All of them said that someone stole their food. The humans tried to figure out who ate the apples. Just then, Snivy raised up Emolga with her vines and showed her to the trainers. She knew that the sky squirrel ate all the apples of the boys. The trainers noticed that the flying squirrel had pain in her tummy, and Cilan made a theory about how Emolga stole the Pokémon's food. Everyone seemed to agree with what the Pokémon connoisseur said, except Iris, who defended the flying squirrel, saying that she didn't do such thing. And the others apologized with the Pokémon.

It seems Oshawott also questioned the cook's conclusion, he was on Emolga's side. According to him for what he saw from her, how could a cute and kind creature steal the boys' food? He never had seen her doing that. He thought that his future girlfriend was an angel to punish her like that. The otter thought that Emolga was innocent, but Snivy thought the opposite, she truthfully saw that the sky squirrel stole the apples. The grass snake wasn't happy that she was unpunished for what she did.

After that incident with the food, everyone was ready to continue with the path to the Ash's fourth gym badge, but before agreed of having a nap, and they rested under a tree. While everybody was sleeping, Emolga, pretending to be asleep, was hungry for more apples, and went to the forest to get some. Later, Axew and Oshawott noticed that Emolga went to the forest and they followed her. Nobody noticed that Snivy was also feigning to be asleep and went to where they were if they got into trouble.

The Tusk Pokémon and the Sea Otter Pokémon went to look for Emolga that was in someplace in the forest. They found her as she fell to the ground like someone had damaged her, asking for help as well. The two male Pokémon came closer to help her and ask her if she was okay. Afterwards, Emolga told what happened: Emolga went to the forest to get and eat some apples on the top of a tree. She was fine well until three very evil Watchog attacked her while she got a fruit, and they kick her out of there. After that, she started to cry, but everything that she told was a complete farce to take advantage of two of them.

"Grrrr, how dare they?!" expressed Oshawott angrily. How dare they to hurt his future mate that innocently took and apple to eat? That wasn't going to stay like that. With much determination, he went where the three Watchog were. While he came closer to them, the three meerkats warned him roughly that he couldn't go one step further in their territory, Oshawott didn't care about that. He took his scalchop and transformed it into a sword. This made the Lookout Pokémon agitated, they thought that the otter was going to attack.

Afterwards, Oshawott jumped high and cut some branch to drop some apples. He could get three with his arms, while a fourth fell and hit very hard on his head, that almost got Oshawott knocked out. He gentlemanly and kindly gave an apple to the little Axew and the cute Emolga. Since Oshawott invaded Watchog's terrain, they got very mad. They went to attack them; however, the three little Pokémon dodged by jumping, as the three meerkats crashed against a tree. It was reason to laugh for Emolga.

Suddenly, something fell to the ground, something big and heavy. It was about a Simisear that waked him up unwillingly from his nap, and he was very angry. With a lot of fear, the three Watchog ran away from there, while the giant Pokémon monkey came closer to Axew, Emolga and Oshawott. They three were in a big trouble.

The otter said that he would take care of him, the dragon wasn't so sure if fighting against a big and strong opponent than him was a good idea, while the flying squirrel hid behind a bush eating an apple. Oshawott attacked with Razor Shell, but he was knocked out in one hit and thrown against a tree. Axew went towards him and tried to wake him up. The Simisear came closer to Emolga, she quickly ate an apple and threw the leftovers to the giant Pokémon's face, making him so angry. With so much anger inside, he tried to attack the sky squirrel, but she dodged as she laughed. The Ember Pokémon was getting more exhausted, while seeing the electric-flying type escape from the scene; nevertheless, Axew stopped her so she can help, but she wanted to run away, even with the idea of abandoning her partners.

The monkey Pokémon was going to attack again, until his arm was held down by Snivy's vine whip, who was up of a tree. She dodged a Flamethrower jumping above him and landed where her companions were. Emolga wanted to go away to avoid any problem, but the grass snake stopped her as she escaped. She had to help come what may. The trainers arrived where they were so to see what was happening. Simisear later used Flamethrower with direction to Axew and the fainted Oshawott. Fortunately, Snivy used Leaf Blade and blocked the attack, but she didn't expect to receive a strong punch from the opponent. He left her on the ground, but she wasn't going to give up so easily, even if she was very injured, she had to continue fighting, but if she wanted to beat him, Emolga had to put her part.

The flying rodent was questioning if she was going to help, but she had no other option. Before that Simisear gave another attack, Emolga attacked with Hidden Power on all directions. That gave the trainers time to help Oshawott and Axew. The giant monkey tried to take down the flying squirrel as she flew, but nothing worked, getting even angrier. With a strong Flamethrower, he almost hit Emolga, and Snivy with Vine Whip tied a Simisear's leg and pulled, making him fall on his back. Everyone thought that the giant Pokémon was defeated, but the Flamethrower went to the top of a mountain. That made detach a big rock that was falling down to the monkey Pokémon.

He was in trouble. Fortunately, Snivy and Emolga used Leaf Storm and Hidden Power respectively to break the rock before it landed. They smashed it completely. Simisear wash astonished that he was saved by the two female Pokémon. He thought that things were even, and he left the place. The ambient turned to be calmed. Emolga was in conflict, she hated Snivy because she was who tried to denounce her for the robbery of the apples, but at the same time was grateful by having saved her for being hurt. She thought that maybe all was even giving her and apple as a gratitude. She went towards the grass snake, the tension between them was so intense, until Emolga decided to give her the fruit, Snivy was surprised by her act. Axew came and asked if he could eat as well, if they were even. The snake finally cut the apple in three equal parts so they can eat. It seemed that everyone was even, at least for now.

After everything returned to normal, the trainers decided to go to Nimbasa City, except Bianca, who was going to Castelia City for her third gym badge. They said good bye and continued with their journey.
