a thrill, a buzz.

I don't know why but that was what I was feeling when fighting.

Nothing like this ever happened in training. But I wasn't feeling a shaking fear that was holding me back like it would be for other people when confronted by a large group of villains that seem so confident on killing the number 1 hero.

Instead a rush of energy was flowing through me. It was what was fueling me to continue pushing him back. To dominate this fight.

I was lucky that the other villains he was with had been watching the fight and not gone and attacked Kaminari.

The villain whose name I heard being called Bepo was their leader. Someone who held himself in confidence when people were following behind him, even with his below average appearance and low class in society, even amongst the villains.

And he wasn't as strong as I made him up to be in my head.

"You dumb kid." he still spoke with bitter arrogance. "You won't make it out of here. We won't allow you."

He gave a menacing glance to the villains that were to my right side.

That seemed to signal them to move to guard me from running away.

Looking in the crowd I could see the girl, Mito. She was someone to watch for. I needed to take her out before trying to leave.

Bepo gave out some small movement trying to get up in silence while my head was looking over at the people that were slowly making there way to me.

'Moron.'

My left hand swung down quickly and smashed the back of the man's head before he had a chance to activate his quirk.

Kaminari had made his way to my left hand side with dry patches under his eyes. "This time. This time Kairo, I won't just sit back crying." he clenched his right fist in a show of his resolve.

I nodded my head to show him that I understood.

The group seeing their leader fall didn't shy away like I had first expected them to, instead they quickened their pace.

My hands made their way towards each other and before the familiar feeling of my summoning activate, a hand clasped itself on my left shoulder.

"No. Let me." Kaminari said and stepped forward with electricity swiftly dancing over his arm.

'But if he uses his quirk'.

Kaminari wasn't waiting for any of my warnings. He had been a coward ever since the attack had started.

When the mist villain had stopped them from exiting the building and spoke on killing All Might, he could only think back to the big monstrous being that had been lugged in to the center of the arena.

It was definitely as big as All Might. And it's heavy steps that could create mini craters wasn't making him feel any safer. He didn't wanna be here. This wasn't supposed to happen. Not this early.

There not heroes yet, not even in their third year.

It's only their 4th week of school.

He didn't even notice the tug that had held him as they were both falling through the portal.

And when he had got himself up and righted himself the first thing he noticed were the villains, and the next thing was the back of his new friend. Kairo.

Well he'd like to think of him that way.

The boy was closed off and didn't like speaking up very much, he could tell he was shy. He could tell a lot of things, like how the boy had seemed more comfortable when sat on the train and listening to Kaminari's random stories about anything that floated around in his head.

He could also tell that sometimes he seemed to just conveniently have missed his stop so he stays with Kaminari a few more stops whenever its the last school day that they'll see each other before the next week.

Kaminari seen Kairo and first thought lonely. Someone who was lonely but wanted to reach out to someone.

Kaminari wanted to be that someone. He doesn't know why, maybe it's because he just wants someone out there, or more appropriately someone close to him to feel less lonely when around him.

When they had both landed and he got up, the second thing he noticed was Kairo's back. He went so far to protect him and keep him guarded, Kaminari had seen that and appreciated it.

"Now it's my turn."

With a raise of his electrified hand his electricity had burst forth from his hand. "Indiscriminate Shock 1 Million volts."

I was shocked at what I was seeing. Kaminari stood tall and brave with his hand aimed at the massive group of villains.

All of them were shaking and wiggling around from the shocking pain of electricity.

'And it was aimed well enough to hit all of them in the big group.'

Which luckily meant for us that even the girl that had stopped us from moving was fried and unconscious.

I walked up to Kaminari with a small skip in my step and patted him on the shoulder. "Thanks man. I really wasn't expecting you to pull something like that."

The response I got immediately brought back the previous illusion of him being an idiot that doesn't think things through.

"yaaaay."

His derpy looking face just doesn't fit. But he already told me that if he overextends his wattage limit this would happen.

'Oh well.'

"Thank you anyway." I grabbed onto him and hopped on top of a dragon that I had just summoned and we were on our way out of this zone and into the open arena.

'I hope Mr. Aizawa and everyone else are alright.'

--

A weird knot like feeling seemed to be thrumming softly on my stomach. To me it left me with a bad feeling. Something undesirable would be coming. Something that would cut off a lot of our chances at leaving here unscathed.

And that soft thrumming had stopped when confronted with the end result of that feeling.

Mr. Aizawa. The pro hero Erasurehead was laying in a pool of his own blood with his arms bent in a position that no it shouldn't be placed in. The pool of blood went around most of his body from what I could see.

Even some dripping from his head, the warm and metallic smell that was wafting through the air had caused for me to hold the growing bile in my throat.

What made everything even worse was the fact that the people, or rather the monstrous creature that had left him as a slightly wiggling lump of meat being drained of blood, was right on top of him.

The big dark blue skinned creature that was most definitely not a human was sat right on top of him.

On top of the hero we were supposed to be relying on right now.

Kaminari's quick and heavy breath was felt on the back of my neck.

We had just arrived to see the state of our homeroom teacher as well as the other villains in the center of the arena.

The one with hands all over his body was now looking towards a downed Midoriya and Tsuyu.

'They've no wounds on them.'

That was the first thing I noticed.

Kaminari had tried making a noise but I kept my hand over his mouth and pointed in the direction of our teacher as well as Midoriya.

His half awake face had instantly took on recognition.

'With him here it may have been smarter for me to head back to the entrance and grab as many as I could before flying away.'

The mist villain was down here as well.

I spoke lowly to Kaminari making sure I didn't alert them of our presence. "I'm going out there." his eye's widened in shock.

"Are you crazy? These aren't like those villains we just fought. Even I was able to take them down." I squeezed his shoulder as his voice was getting louder.

"There's no one else here and our teacher looks like he's dying." I pointed over in a hushed tone.

Kaminari looked back up at me. "How are you able to stay so calm?"

I just stared into his eyes not really knowing what to say.

Instead I just tapped him on the shoulder and stood up and made my way away from our hiding place while quickly and quietly telling him.

"You need to get back to where everyone else is. If no one's made it out then ask Yaoyorozu to make a flair that we can shoot up to alert the school with."

I ended it there and walked with a quickened pace.

"So we have another player huh?"

The raspy, and scratchy voice didn't quite match the childish question that came out the mouth of the pale skinned man.

Midoriya was stuck with his right arm sorely bruised now that I got a better look at it.

'Crap.'

I looked back at the young man. "Nah. No time to here whatever you wanna say. Gotta kill some of you before All Might gets here." he said that in such a playful and unbothered tone.

"NOMU!"

I slightly turned to my right feeling the brush of air coming towards me from what felt like a rush of dreadful wind on a dangerously windy day.

Before I could even get in proper motion my body flew back towards a giant rock in the center of the arena.

I should have gone further.

But I never got rid of the dragon that I used to bring me and Kaminari here. I just sent it far in the air further away from the side we were hiding by.

The dragon was able to quickly get in the way of the hit to protect me.

Although it blocked the hit and caused me to only go flying a few meters, the 'Nomu' had quickly reacted and dealt it with a multitude of hits before getting rid of it making it vanish in a wave of golden particles.

"Oh So we have a summoner playing with us. Ain't that funny Kurogiri?" the rhetorical question was silently answered.

"Oh you wouldn't even know."

' Ryúkon.' Dragon's soul.

That's what Akira had called my quirk.

The reason he called it that was because of what we found out about it a few years into my time training with the commission.

When I was younger I used to have dreams that were always similar to me by having the same dragon eyes stare deeply and intensely at me.

They're eyes were golden and brilliant and filled with mystery and power. Power that I had no control over as I am now.

It was a part of my quirk.

These other dragon's that I summon have no real body and they can be damaged easily with little time and energy being used.

So I've been focusing on image for the time that I first laid eyes on the monster in the center of the arena.

And clasping my hands together and huffing in a deep breath preparing myself for the release of energy and stamina I was about to lose in mere seconds of summoning this next one.

"Try this on!"

--

Something was different.

Midoriya could feel it when he had seen the beauty and felt the mystique like feel of the brilliant silver scaly dragon that had seemed to just flow into the space in protection of his classmate.

He hadn't gotten to know Kairo all that much, he was quiet but had a powerful quirk.

He was planning on working up an analysis page in his book about what his quirk could be after the USJ trip. Since they were going to be doing rescue training he had been expecting to see people use their quirks today and jot down anything new he had seen or missed.

But it was a disaster.

The villains had them beat. Both of their teachers incapacitated and the students scattered around zones in a building they had never been in.

After he had escaped with Tsuyu he had thought that they might have a chance. That they might be able to escape here or even group up with his teacher and beat the villains that have gathered around.

He was so wrong.

When he got to where his teacher was he could see the snapping of his arm and the smashing of his skull into the ground.

It was terrifying.

But he still had to move, because he wanted to be a hero.

One superpowered version of one for all, he thought that would blow the villain away. Only for no movement to occur when the smoke had disappeared.

Surprise filled him when he seen his arm wasn't broken, but before he could even wind it back, the death defying grip of the monster in front of him didn't allow him to move.

'CRUNCH'.

Midoriya let out a shrilling scream when he felt it.

His right arm was being crushed by the grip of the monster that the hand villain called nomu.

"Did you just scream out smash when you threw that punch?" the question didn't get answered as Midoriya could barely comprehend the mans words nor the pleading wheezes of his teacher begging for the kids to be left alone.

After his face had been smashed to the floor he had been spat on and harsh words that he couldn't register were being thrown at him.

Only for it to eventually stop.

Yeah that was what he remembered happening. Up until Kairo came out of nowhere with the brilliant ray of a silver dragon bigger and more radiant than any of the other ones he summoned before.

And unlike the other ones. This one made much louder sounds, like it wanted its presence to be acknowledged. It was growling.

Not a growl of anger or irritation that some other animals do, this one gave a low growl and the look in it's eyes looked as if they were shining with intelligence, like it was planning.

The beast shinned and shimmered in the sun that was coming in from the glass windows above. The suns ray made it seem as though it were dressed with tiny diamonds all over it's body.

It's wingspan was vast and majestic, stretching out to catch the slightest breeze. The strong muscular physique it held shown that with it's fierce wings it could probably generate humongous gusts of wind.

Looking up at the grand beast Midoriya can help but marvel at it's graceful features. It was like every line and curve on the dragon was carefully sculpted to make the form he was now laying his eyes on.

It's fierce gaze now set upon the Nomu and the villain standing beside it.

"Look at that Kurogiri. He's really a summoner." the villain pointed in an almost excited tone that still held his mockery.

"Tomura Shigaraki. Please be mindful, I can only feel danger coming from our opponent."

The man known as Shigaraki didn't seem too phased.

"Oh shut up. We have Nomu."

With that the monstrous beast sprinted in the direction of Kairo and his dragon. But before it could even reach halfway the dragons wings had seemed to be pulled back, and with its increased strength it pushed forward a large gust of wind that seemed to slow down the Nomu.

The Nomu was undeterred and kept moving forward as its master commanded.

A loud roar came out of the dragon as it started to move forward.

Its initial movement was slow, but the instant it got in its right movement it cut the distance between itself and the nomu in mere seconds.

The Nomu roared and sent a massive fist at Hikaru. The silver dragon dodged to the side, but the impact of the punch had sent massive shockwaves through the air.

The shockwaves had been so great that the people that had just came had started to struggle not being sent backwards.

"Shit. What the fuck is that thing?" the crass and booming voice of Bakugou had just come into play. To his side was Kirishima and further along his side was Todoroki.

The icy cold glare of the boy with half and half hair decided to speak up.

"Wouldn't this be coming from Yoshimura?" he asked but nobody paid attention to the subtle bitterness in his tone.

"Yeah, it would be his dragon but it doesn't look like any of the ones he's created before." The spiky red head said. "And it looks like it can fight well against that monster."

Kirishima wouldn't admit it, but he was glad that he may not have to fight it. Bakugou wanted to head to the center of the arena immediately which he would have no doubt tried confronting it and that could have dragged him in as well since he didn't want to see his new friend get so hurt and do nothing about it.

Bakugou scoffed and looked around the arena.

"There's Deku and frog face. Let's go." he commanded but none of them thought anything of it since it would be the best things they could do to get more information.

The majestic creature had took to the skies as its wings were flapping in what looked like slight mockery to the nomu that couldn't do the same.

The Nomu instead opted to jump. Crouching down and buckling ready to go a great distance. The beast jumped, leaving a huge crater where it once stood and reached the height that the dragon was up at.

The dragon didn't have much time to dodge and when the hit from the beast came its compact with the dragon was heard by the people standing below watching.

A feint laugh was heard from Shigaraki.

Me on the other hand. I wasn't too worried. This dragon took on a large heap out of me and my standard dragons are tough enough, putting all that energy into one would obviously create something that can withstand big hits.

I guess the worst thing about now was the fact that I can only conjure up much smaller and weaker dragons to aid me in case anything happens.

A loud and thunderous roar was heard and this one could be heard by everyone in the USJ. All eyes went up, looking towards the dragon. The dragon that had now dug its claws in the chest of the Nomu and sent it flying back down on the floor of the center arena sliding until it had smashed into one of the giant boulders in the area with a sickening thud.

'That should be enough to stop it right.' that's what I thought.

I believed that after the beating the monster had received it would be enough for it to go to rest.

But I was wrong. With slow and almost mechanical movements the monster got back up but didn't even have a scratch on it. The only thing I viewed as unnatural was the hunched over position that it was in like when it had just stepped through the portal.

"Hahahaha. Did you think it was over summoner." Shigaraki was now violently scratching his neck while also laughing at me in a mocking tone. I couldn't tell if he was mad or amused.

"My Nomu has so many different quirks. Shock absorption as well as regeneration are some of them."

That was just so unnatural. People were only meant to have one quirk, if extremely lucky then maybe they can get both their parent abilities but it would still be under one quirk like Todoroki's. It was rare that someone actually had two.

But this thing wasn't human. So maybe that played into the fact that it can hold more than one quirk.

The mans laugh was growing more and more intense.

"Hey kid, why do you want to be a hero?" he asked.

I was slightly surprised that he asked. I wasn't expecting him to act any bit normal by asking questions.

"I don't have to answer that." but that question was something that a lot of villains ask just to shit on whatever beliefs you have in what you want to do.

"Oh that's fine. I'll tell you why I'm doing this."

I wanted to reply by saying I never asked but i thought that might not be the best thing to say right now.

"This system needs change." that's all he said. He thought he had said or acted in a way that seemed memorable or inspiring now basking in imaginary glory, like a stupid kid.

He seemed like he wanted to elaborate but then opted against that and waved his hand.

"Screw it. Nomu..." he pointed his fingers at me the same way other people do when shooting an imaginary gun. "... Kill him."

My silver dragon was close by and was making its way towards me to protect me from the hit.

'BOOM'

The sound of a crashing then breaking had reverberated around the building with a gust of wind following.

I didn't know what was going on and the gusts of wind were really disorienting me.

And before I knew it I was placed on the side and by my side were Bakugou, Todoroki and Midoriya.

'What the hell.' I looked back to where I previously stood I could see All Might standing there.

My silver dragon had vanished and had just left All Might there to facing the villains with his back turned to us.

"Its Fine Now." his deep and heavy tone held that same venom and anger, but to us kids, it was also something that just fully reassured us that everything will be fine.

"I AM HERE."

I feel like I haven't seen Kaminari utilised so much as a character within the fandom as well as in the original content.

Which I found weird since lightning users are usually always loved no matter which media you watch.

His character just never gave me much to cling on, so I'm hoping to change that here.

I felt like expanding on his quirk since I plan for a lot to come in, in terms of the power his quirk holds and what he'll be able to do.

Hope you enjoyed.
