Nuka gasped in shock as the cold, bony hand of an Enderman grabbed and teleported away with him before he could do anything about it.

Seconds later the world around him materialized again.

They seemed to have landed on a large sandy square, with several houses around them that looked very different from the ones Nuka had seen so far.

Instead of stone and wood, they seemed to be made only of sandstone and their roofs were not pointed and high but completely flat and had only very small windows, which, however, had no panes.

The others also seemed to have been brought here by the other Endermans, which relieved Nuka greatly, even though he still didn't know where they were. What he could say though was that they were in the Overworld. He could tell by the dark night sky above him and the cool wind.

Even though the answer might frighten him, he was still wondering which place this was.

However, he didn't have much time to look around anymore, because shortly after they appeared, loud shouts were heard and they were shortly surrounded by several people, who also didn't look like the Minecrafters Nuka had encountered so far.

They all wore black robes and had a staff in their hands. The staffs were completely different and uniquely built for each of them and now aiming at Nuka and the others.

The only thing they all had in common was a different colored gemstone at the end of the staff that shone brightly and made Nuka very nervous.

A short moment later, they had all set up in front of Nuka and Einshine and were pointing their staffs directly at them.

"Don't move!" one of them snapped at them in a sharp voice, "Put your hands over your head! Now!"

,,You better listen to them, Nuka," he heard Einshine say in a low, grim voice, while he himself slowly raised his hands behind his head, "You don't want to get on the bad side of the Magicians."

Nuka looked at him in surprise when he heard that.

"Magicians?!" he repeated in amazement, but before he could ask Einshine more about that, one of the Magicians stepped forward and held his staff under his nose.

"Hey, are you deaf or something?!" he shouted at him, "Hands above your head, Now!"

Startled, Nuka obeyed quickly and raised his hands above his head while still looking at him with curious eyes.

He had never really seen a Magician before.

Only once, when one of them had visited their village, but Nuka could hardly remember it, since he was very young at the time.

The only thing he could recall was that the fireworks that he had conjured up with the help of his staff and thus enchanted him and all the other children.

Other than that, he only knew about Magicians from the stories he had heard from his mother or other people.

They told him that Magicians were friendly but strange minecrafters who had the gift of using abilities similar to those of the gods.

Of course, they were not even half as powerful as them and could only use their powers in a controlled way with the help of a staff, but they could still be dangerous, especially when they attacked together.

However, they mostly kept to themselves and were therefore considered rather snooty among the other Minecrafers. Especially because they rarely shared their magic or inventions with them and even had their own city in the desert.

Nuka's heart stopped short and his eyes widened as he thought about it.

Could it be?

Were they really...

,,What's going on here?" Nuka winced when he heard the loud dark voice and spotted a man with dark skin and black hair suddenly stepping out of the crowd. He seemed to be something like the leader here.

At least that's what Nuka assumed from his gold embroidered and fancy robe. It looked a lot different than the others around him.

,,I don't know, sir," replied another mage next to him. He who wore a similar robe and therefore also seemed to be of high rank, "They just showed up here out of nowhere! I saw some Endermen brought them here, but as you can see, they're already gone."

,,Mhm," the other one replied, while looking at Nuka and the others with a thoughtful expression on his face. "Endermen are smarter than they appear. If they brought them here, there must be a reason. We should hear what they have to say."

With these words he turned away and to Nukas surprise looked at Steve who was still lying on the ground next to the motionless Notch and who, despite his exhaustion and pain, was looking up at the leader with a cold gaze.

,,I really hope you have a good explanation for this, Steve!" he continued a moment later in a shockingly harsh voice, "Because you should know very well by now that neither you or them", with these words he pointed at Nuka and Einshine, ,,are welcome here."

,,Oh, I know," Steve replied in a weak but grim voice, "And trust me it wasn't my choice to come here either, but now...now that I think about it...Maybe you're the only ones who can help us."

"Help you?" the leader repeated as he kneeled down beside Steve to look at him in suspicion, "Why would the gods need our help?"

Steve looked at him uncertainty in response and seemed to struggle with himself for a moment before finally sighing and lowering his gaze in surrender.

"Because...because we are no Gods anymore..." he confessed in a low voice before turning his gaze back to the leader, who was suddenly looking very desperate, "Null...He...he took everything from us...our powers, our might, our immortality...everything."

,,All of you?" the leader asked and suddenly looked very serious and worried, whereupon Steve just nodded ashamedly.

,,Yeah", he replied in a weak voice ,,I'm fine so far, but...but Herobrine...is badly hurt and...and Notch...he's..."

At that moment he suddenly rolled his eyes and slumped unconscious on the floor, causing Nuka's heart to sink.

If Steve was already in such a bad condition, how was it then with Herobrine?

"Is he serious?" the mage next to him finally replied while looking down at Steve with a contemptuous look, "Does he really think we'd believe that tall tale?"

But to Nuka's surprise, the leader just shook his head.

"He's not lying," he replied before quickly standing up and turning back to the crowd, "We have to act. Quickly! I want Notch and Steve taken to the main building as soon as possible, examined and treated by healers there! "

With these words, the crowd began to move and Nuka could see several wizards running towards Notch and Steve, picking them up from the ground and carrying them away. It made Nuka question what they would do with Herobrine.

Would they treat him too?

But then why wasn't he taken with his brothers?

And what would happen to him and Einshine?

Would they take him captive?!

Only the thought of that terrified Nuka so much that he began to shake a little. However, before he could think about it more the eyes of the other high mage fell on him.

,,And what will become of them?" Nuka heard the other mage say to the leader, who turned his attention to them.

,,Don't worry about it," he continued to the man next to him, but without taking his eyes off Nuka and Einshine, "I have a place for them too."

Nuka just looked at him confused when he heard that.

What was that supposed to mean?

Before he could ask about it, the leader made a sign to some of the surrounding wizards, who then pointed their wands at him, and before Nuka knew what was happening his vision got blurry and he collapsed to the ground.

The leader looked at them a few moments longer to see if the spell had worked. Then he turned to look at his second in command who was still standing behind him, eyeing him suspiciously.
It looked like he was still not satisfied with his decision, but he did not have the time to deal with it now.

,,Take them to the dungeon and make sure they can't escape or use their powers.", he ordered before turning away, giving his second in command a sign to follow him ,,And you send Roxana to me. I really need to talk to her."

,,But Sir", his companion began to complain ,,With all due respect how did you know that he wasn't lying?"

,,I don't know", admitted the leader, while he walked together with him through the now empty streets ,,but i don't have to. Whether he lied or not we' ll soon see."

At that moment, a loud thunder could be Hrsg heard in the distance, whereupon his companion looked at the sky in surprise.

,,A thunderstorm?" he replied while looking at the dark coulds which were now slowly rising in front of the dark sky ,,In the desert? Isn' t this implossible! We never had a anything like this before! What is this."

,,It is the first sign that Steve didn't lie", the leader answered. His face now turned grim as he looked at the clouds, which were revealing loud thunders followed by a flash of lightning. Additionally they were not yellow as usual, but blood red..

,,Now hurry up and get me Roxana. There seems to be a storm coming."
