The rushing taps of high heeled shoes were tapping along the floor in a hurried tone right along side it were that of much more quiet boots leaving little to no sound with extreme control.
"Katsuki Bakugou is now with recovery girl." Midnight said to Aizawa who was walking alongside her.
"That's good but we really need to get back out there." Aizawa had ripped off most of the bandages that were on his body and casts on his arms. He figured if he had enough strength to sufficiently destroy both casts and rip the to shreds, then he could fight and break the jaw of the woman who had shot his student.
He was surprised to find out there were only two villains. Both in a brawl, with the top two heroes of the nation and still standing.
Aizawa could see why they were struggling more than they should.
They were both holding back. With Endeavour still using incredibly dangerous attacks but at a minimal level while his big frame shadowed wherever he planned on landing which gave people some time to more out of his way before he landed.
But All Might was truly in a worse position. The small elderly man who he was fighting was holding a hero in his barrier, using him as a hostage who could only stare at All Might in fright.
That old man can hold up way to many barriers. Aizawa thought as he was getting ready to use his quirk on him.
"Hey, that lady. Isn't that 'The Crow'?" Midnight stopped his thoughts and caused Aizawa to snap his head over to the woman who he knew had shot his student.
Crow was a villain that had only popped out a greater part of a year prior to the start of the first years advancement to UA.
She had 5 kills on her that were recorded and it was usually in situations where she was near villains that were involved in big crime heists. So people just believed she was just a thief that aided villains as a sniper for heroes while they carry out their crime.
Something like that wouldn't be uncommon but what changed her from the rest was the fact that she usually beat the villains after she had at least made an attempt to kill the first hero in response.
Heroes didn't really know what to think about her. Some thought that she was trying to act as a vigilante. While some said she's trying to justify her killings of heroes by tying up villains and leaving them for the next responders.
To Aizawa. She was just another villain. There was no information on her quirk other than it may be related to her sniping abilities. Which wouldn't have been hard to think of after seeing the way she fights.
But to see her so adept at fighting someone like endeavour. Well it was more running away and just dodging attacks. But the nimbly and fluid movements were made to look so easy with her thin figure.
It also helped that she had been moving in between the few people that moved slowly stuck around certain parts of the stadium.
Aizawa gained some relief as he seen some of his own students trying to work with some of the other heroes that were working with trying to lead them to a safer place.
"Alright Midnight!" Aizawa was clearly trying to sound as serious as he could while he was about to plan out what they were going to do.
"I'm going to nullify the old man's quirk. You distract the 'Crow' from trying to shoot me." This would quickly get rid of the barrier and at least ease the people's minds.
Midnight nodded quickly and the both of them started to move out.
Moving past the crowd in a hurried motion while directing them to go through a security exit. And what made them feel even at more ease was the serious and stern face of their Class 1-A class rep. Tenya Iida. He along with other members of his class were standing in a circular formation around the civilians which seemed to be the idea of one of the heroes standing by them.
Both teachers had a smile on their faces.
And they both got into the action.
--
I was actually kind of worried for Bakugou.
Since Cementos wall of cement was still up blocking a greater half of the stadium we couldn't even see if Bakugou was able to be moved or if he was already being treated.
I mean, I'm sure they had already got him to a hospital. There weren't any threats that had showed up from that side. But if there were maybe Cementos was still with Ms. Midnight and fighting.
And if they were lucky, then they would have better heroes to cooperate with.
I was still feeling annoyed with the heroes name that I don't even know. He was quiet in the back and the smaller group that we were guiding were mostly just mumbling.
As we were walking the mumbling was getting louder, and louder. I turned around to see people had stopped in their tracks. They were looking through the glass window above us.
'!'
The barrier was gone.
Some people gave their thoughts thinking the villains must have been beaten.
"Hey that doesn't mean we can lead you guys back." Kaminari sputtered while waving his hands up trying to keep people to move in our original direction.
The hero then looked at him and then to me and gave an incredulous look, like he had just figured out some jackpot idea. And he stomped his way over to me ready to give me his thoughts.
And usually I would assume in situations like this you would whisper your idea in the ear of who you're telling to make sure if the idea sounds promising but can't be done we wouldn't be giving a newfound hope.
But this fool in front of me seemed to want just that. "You can now use your dragons and fly us out of here."
Now this fool put me in a situation I would look more like the bad guy.
I didn't know if he was doing this because of his earlier stunt and now wants people to look at him in some new light and me the bad guy, but I'm not risking carrying this many people.
There were elderly and even babies. Some of whom didn't even look so reluctant to go. Even Kaminari seemed to give the hero a more questioning look.
"I can't make em that big." I lied.
"Liar, you used one in the first round to ride it to the finish." he said as loudly as he could while giving me an accusatory point of his finger.
"That used up too much energy, and I won't be able to carry this many people and put them at risk of falling off." I retorted.
Why would they wanna move anyway. They now believe that the villains are beat and those who have been separated from some family can reunite with them. That's what I thought as I seen the girl clenching the arm of some elderly lady while her cries for wanting to see her Mum became even louder.
An angry breath was let out by the hero and I could tell he was just going to try and prolong the shame game.
"So you're just going to ignore the cries of these people and your superior in me and expect me to just go along with this. If you weren't in that uniform I would believe your just another villain trying to lead us in the wrong direction." the people were getting more agitated.
"But then again. There could always be a traitor at the number 1 hero school. This is the first year for it to actually be attacked." And now the crowd was growing more weary.
Some of them were more wary because that statement could hold truth to it. We are first years and our first year in the school there is an attack.
Well I doubt all of them would think like that. That would just--"...and your so young what would you mum, or the rest of your family think of you just continuing to shame them..."
'THWACK.'
The hard hitting sound of a bone crushing punch hitting the raw skin of the man in front of the caused some people to jump. Some edged backwards scared of the look the younger male was showing off.
"I Would Strongly Advise For You To Think Of A Much Smarter Reply." I told him not being able to hide the anger laced into my voice. It was still said calmly as my face was gaining a calmer look, but the anger didn't subside.
There was a muffle before some words were muttered out from his mouth.
"What did you say!?" I said while clenching both my fists and marching towards him ready to shut him up.
Kaminari's shouts at me were getting louder but I ignored him.
That was until his screams were getting louder and closer to me, until I felt his presence rushing towards me. Until I felt the large and looming shadow. Until I heard a loud crash and shatter of glass breaking above us.
"KAIRO!".
--
My head was ringing. It felt like the world was spinning and everything was hurting.
I could feel the wet and sticky feeling of blood setting in and staining my uniform. Mostly forming around my left shoulder.
As my vision was getting normal and things felt right again... I wished I was still asleep. Asleep and far away from this.
There were bodies now... Dead bodies. The pools of splattered blood was now all over the previous immaculate and clean design of the interior of UA. And one among those bodies was that same girl that was crying for her mother so strikingly.
And to my side there was Kaminari. Still alive I could tell from his chest movements.
Shit. I thought as I slowly crawled from my place without stirring much.
I could feel the vomit quickly rushing through my body at the previous sight that was slowly etching itself into my memory.
The shuffling of footsteps had turned my head in the direction of one of the corners.
'People are still alive.'
I was happy to know of that. Extremely so.
But what was frightening to see was the hulking mass with wings outstretched on it's back. It was a nomu.
Much bigger than the one from the USJ.
It looked a lot stronger than that one. And if the wings were an indicator that it could fly then that's even more of a worry.
The significantly smaller group in the corner were standing in front of their shield.
That same pathetic hero that I had slumped out on the floor. He stood tall with a bat being waved in front of them.
Haaah. The only hero like thing I've actually seen him do.
I swung my arm around trying to get a stable feeling in it from it's numb state.
'Well I can't let that fake show me up.'
The wave of nausea and guilt that had been gnawing at me were still there. But nothing will truly be settled if I do nothing.
--
Outside of the eastern side of the stadium where there were a multitude of students and civilians.
The students looked to be from class 1-B.
"Aren't those things the Nomu that fought class 1-A?" the girl named Yui Kodai asked while looking at the sky with the same fear beating through her chest just as the people they were trying to lead to safety.
"Seems so." their class rep Itsuka Kendo said so in a less emotional tone. "We just have to stay hidden from them and stick with the heroes." she said in a more uplifting tone trying to show a hold over the situation.
As soon as the barrier was broken or let down some of them had assumed, they thought things would get better. They thought that now they just had to wait for All Might to come and tell them everything was okay.
Wrong.
Falling from the sky of a massive dark and wispy purple portal, these creatures came falling down and started attacking quickly taking attention of the majority of the heroes that were leading with the students.
The group of classmates and students nodded and pointed for a building connected to the underground part of the stadium that would be the evac center.
"Let's quickly move to that building--"
The speech stopped by the sight of the top of the building shattering with the sight of two figures flying towards the sky just above the building with shattering debris in their path.
One of the figures was clearly another Nomu. But this one looked a lot stronger even from the far away distance.
And the other figure had been one that some of them were instantly able to recognize.
"That's Yoshimura from Class 1-A"
It was made even easier to spot once they had seen the dragons floating around him and keeping his ascent to the sky steady.
What petrifide them was the next movement.
With a blur the nomu was above him in the air with both its fists already inching away from his head and before he could even have his dragon get in the way of the attack he was sent crashing through multiple columns back towards the side of the stadium where the Class 1-a and 1-b seats were.
"Oh crap."
