"Though I will be helping you all so don't worry, after all we don't want you picking something stupid like Eraserhead" Naruto said with a smile at his class
"This coming from the guy calling himself the 'Ultimate hero'?" Aizawa's voice came from the classroom's closet making everyone look towards it
"... ok seriously man you need a house to sleep in" Naruto deadpanned
"And you need a different place than a classroom to ravish Nemuri" Aizawa said as he hopped out of the closet followed by the classroom in his sleeping bag
This got groans from the class
"Oh relax it wasn't this classroom" Nemuri rolled hero eyes
"Ok students each of you take a moment to think of a name and write it down then you will be showing them off here for your peers to judge you and your name choices" Naruto said with an evil smirk
Everyone each took a miniature white board and marker to write down their hero names.
"Ok first up is Mina" Naruto said as he randomly chose one to get things started after some time
Mina smiled and ran up to the front of the class and showed off her name
"Alien Queen!" Mina yelled with a excited smile
"No! We barely escaped the lawsuit with Universal Studios Japan. We are not getting sued!" Nemuri exclaimed
"Plus while aliens is a great film Franchise it's not exactly a name that inspires heroism and justice and all the other things heroes are supposed to stand for" Naruto threw his own two cents in.
"Using themes you yourself love can help but something that's not scary. After all that is a villain's name as well" Nemuri added
"Hmmmmm oh!" Mina said as she whipped her white board screen and wrote a new name down before she showed it off
"Alien Hero: Acid Dancer!" Mina exclaimed
"Very good. You get your alien aspect without it sounding too over the top. Not to mention the dancer part will appeal to people but the acid part makes you sound useful as a combative hero" Naruto said as he nodded
"Yup plus Rumi Sensei got me into capoeira" Mina said with a grin as she went back to her desk
"... and now I need to write my will even more" Naruto deadpanned
"Next up is Aoyama" Nemuri said to the blonde teen who came up with his pick
"Shining hero. I Cannot Stop Twinkling" Yuga said with his trademark sparkle pose
"Pass!" Naruto yelled as he made a x motion with his arms
"Excusè Moi?! But it is tres Magnifique!" Yiga argued
"It's supposed to be a name, not a sentence Yuga. If you want a name with this theme that's fine but you need something that isn't the butt for jokes or too long to say in an emergency" Naruto said as he shook his head
"... I have nothing then" Aoyama admitted as he sweatdropped
"Hmmmm you have a knight look, how about Radiant Knight?" Naruto asked
"Ooh that does sound good. The shining hero, Radiant Knight" Nemuri nodded in agreement
"Perfection!" Yuga smiled as he loved the name
"Ok Kyoka you're up" Naruto said as Yuga sat back down
"Hearing hero. Earphone Jack" Jiro said
"…..that sounds like your quirk not a hero name" Naruto said as he thought she could do better
"I honestly couldn't think of anything." Jiro admitted
"Well you have a rock vibe right? Maybe we can come up with something for that" Izuku spoke up knowing Jiro preferred rock based music
"Rockvibe? That's it!" Jiro said with a smile at Izuku before she changed her name
"The Rocker Hero: RockVibe. Thanks green" Jiro said with a smirk
"Throw in a guitar and you're golden" Naruto said as he gave Jiro a thumbs up
"I believe Miss Hatsume was designing one." Nemuri mused
"Yeah she said and I quote: 'my harem sisters get the best' unquote" Jiro said monotonously as Izuku blushed in embarrassment
"Alright we'll tease Izuku about this later. Next up is Bakugo" Naruto said with a nod at the teen
"King Explosion Murder!" Bakugo presented
"... no" Naruto deadpanned
"What?! Ok fine! Lord Explosion Murder!" Bakugo yelled
"... also no" Naruto deadpanned
"How about splosion man?" Kirishma yelled out getting laughs from the class
"Fuck off shitty hair. Emperor Explosion Murder!" Bakugo yelled
"Ok Bakugo an explosion theme is fine but you need to sound more cool not like an edgy punk" Naruto deadpanned
"grrrrr" Bakugo growled angrily
"How about a mix of an explosion and something you look up to?" Nemuri asked trying to help
Bakugo thought about this and after a few moments he smiled
"Great Explosion Murder God: DynaMight"
"Dynamight?" Nemuri asked
"Huh I like it. I'm impressed, kid. Though your title is still ridiculous but I'll take what I can get" Naruto said with a chuckle
As Bakugo sat down with a smug grin Sero and Denki were snickering "what?" he asked
"Didn't see you as a fan of old sitcoms" Sero said
"Huh?" Bakugo asked
"Dyno- mite!" Denki yelled after he clapped his hands
This got snorts of laughter from the class even Naruto was laughing
"I want a new name!" Bakugo yelled out in a rage
"Hell no! This is too perfect!" Naruto yelled as he texted Mitsuki on his phone
After a moment Naruto's phone rang
"Hello?" Naruto asked on speaker
"Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" Mitsuki's laughter rang out loudly from Naruto's phone
"... fuck… all…of….you" Bakugo growled his hands sparking
"Ok you're up Toru" Nemuri said as she chuckled
"Prismatic Hero: Prisma" Toru said with a happy tone
"Prisma? Weren't you gonna do a stealth name?" Mina asked recalling them having a conversation in the past in the locker rooms on what hero names they were thinking of for themselves when they were first starting.
"Izuku-kun suggested I be more creative. Not to mention Aoyama helped me discover something during a Saturday training before the sports festival with sensei." Toru explained
(Flashback)
"Alright Toru as you know I have had a suspicion about your quirk in that you don't actually have the full knowledge of what it is. So like any reasonable person I'm going to have you do something that sounds crazy and may cause mild injury to see if my hypothesis is correct" Naruto said while Toru in her gym outfit stood across from Yuga
"... this doesn't sound safe" Toru said sounding nervous
"Trust me. Ok Yuga fire a low powered naval laser at Toru. Toru hold out your hands to stop it" Naruto ordered
Yuga nodded at this before he took aim and fired at Toru
"AHHHH!" Toru Panicked and held out her hands scared from the sudden incoming laser.
But when the blast hit her hands the laser was reflected…and hit the UA main building making a big hole in Nezu's office as he calmly sat at his desk eating cheese and drinking tea
"Huh so not only can you manipulate light but you can make light stronger if its reflected from you. Good my hypothesis was correct then" Naruto nodded with a smile
"You're paying for my office repairs Naruto" Nezu spoke up through the hole in his building
"Yeah ok sure. Anyways now that I have proof of what your quirk actually is we can truly begin" Naruto said as he smiled at his student
"Can you help me so I can be seen?" Toru asked curiously and astounded that her quirk is much more than invisibility
"If there's a way I'll help you find it But now that I know how your quirk actually works I'll help you request a support item from miss Hatsume that can help you be seen" Naruto told her
"Do you still need moi sensei?" Yuga asked curiously
"Yup. You two are gonna work together for this quirk testing. Aoyama you'll be working on resilience by blasting at her. Toru you're gonna work on reflecting his blasts into some targets I had requested" Naruto said before he snapped his fingers as robots rose from the ground. "Training begins now!" Naruto cackled as his students took off running away from the robots chasing after them
(Flashback end)
"After I told Izuku-kun how my quirk actually worked he had the idea for my name" Toru said happily as she hugged Izuku and rubbed her cheek against his making him turn red with steam coming off his face
"Alright, let's continue with these names before I'm investigated for my teaching methods. Shinso" Naruto called him up
"I got this" Shinso said as he stood up showing his name
"Mastermind?" Nemuri mused curious about this choice
"Hmmmmm I like it, it makes the enemy think your cocky and try to talk crap to you" Naruto said as he nodded
"Isn't that also a marvel villain name?" Nemuri pointed out not wanting to get sued
"Better than Modok" Shinso said as he went to sit down
"Ha! fair enough. Besides, you think they'll waste the time going after someone using a common alias in multiple different medias like Mastermind?" Naruto said with a laugh while the class all laughed
"Ok Todoroki you're up" Nemuri said to the stoic teen who walked over and revealed… His first name
"Shoto? Just your name?" Naruto asked curiously
"…..names are hard" Shoto said simply
"Alright let's help our friend here. Inferno blizzard? No, too long. Icy hot? No, too Bakugo esque…. How about FrostBlaze?" Naruto said ready to help his student
"FrostBlaze?...I like it" Shoto said, thinking on this before he smiled a little at the name.
"FrostBlaze It is" Nemuri smiled at this
(Everyone else's code names are the same)
"Ok you lot here are the lists of who offered you internships. I have sent you all one as well for those interested. You all get to choose and I'll give my thoughts but at the end of the day it's your choice" Naruto said as he passed out lists to everyone
"You sent all of us one kero?" Tsuyu asked curiously seeing his agency's name on her list
"Well duh. You're all my students. I want to help you grow. Even if you all would rather go elsewhere for your internships I want to help you all in some way." Naruto said with a smile
"If I take yours, can I work with Rumi sensei? kero" Tsuyu asked curiously
"Ah yes that reminds me" Naruto said as he produced an envelope "she asked me to bring this to you personally. She didn't want to deal with the press finding out she officially requested a student. More so to make sure she didn't kick another news anchor's groin in again" Naruto explained "Nezu already approved her on this so it's your call to accept"
"Kero" Tsuyu said with a smile at the envelope
"Oh speaking of Nezu, that reminds me. Midoriya and Yaoyorozu you have offers as well from Nezu himself" Naruto said holding up two more envelopes for his class president and vice president respectively.
"W-why would the principal offer us an internship?" Izuku asked
"Your analytical minds. He's always looking for personal students after all." Naruto explained
"Will we still go out on patrol with him?" Momo asked curiously
"Most likely he'll send you out on patrol with a trusted pro hero teacher." Naruto explained
"It's you isn't it sensei?" Ochako asked with a giggle at Naruto trying to be mysterious
"I can neither confirm or deny. Regardless the decision is for you two alone" Naruto said with shifty eyes all but confirming it to his class. "Anyways all of you have some choices to make so if you want some input I'm here to assist." He said before taking a seat at his desk
(An hour later in class)
"So have you all made any decisions on who you're interning with kero?" Tsuyu asked her classmates
"I'm going with Eraserhead" Shinso said raising his head from his nap before placing his head back down to go back to sleep
"I'm kind of jealous that Miruko made you an offer Tsu. Best offer I got aside from sensei was Death Arms" Jiro sighed
"Like hell I'm letting one of my students go off with that pansy!" Naruto yelled from his seat.
"Well unless you know gang orca im-" Jiro was saying
"Orca? Oh sure! He owes me a favor hold on" Naruto said as he took out his phone
"Hey Orca, it's Ultima. Remember that favor you owe me for the seafood buffet incident? It's time to repay me on that. No it's not a body that needs hiding. I have a student here who's a fan and wants to intern with you. …..no it's not the explosive meathead."
The class all giggled and snickered at this while Bakugo growled in annoyance
"No it's not the frog girl. She's training under Miruko. Hey if you want to try and train her later you can talk to Miruko yourself I ain't getting involved in that. It's the earphone jack girl. Yes the metalhead looking one.
Jiro sighed and slumped in her seat feeling like she was rejected
"Hey! I have full faith in her so watch the attitude or I'm gonna make you into sushi!" Naruto yelled into the phone "don't make me get the sharks with swords again!" Naruto bellowed
Jiro looked up at this as she didn't expect him to say this
Naruto nodded at her before he went back to his phone "good thanks Orca. I'll have her bring you a sushi platter from Akimichi Barbecue as a thanks from me as well. Alright goodbye. Good news you now have Gang Orca as your internship" Naruto said as he hung up his phone
Jiro smield at this and nodded ready to prove herself and that her sensei was right for having faith in her.
"So does anyone else need help?" Naruto asked his class
"No sensei. I've decided to go to Gunhead's agency" Ochako said with a smile
"Huh I expected thirteen seeing as she mentioned giving you an offer" Naruto said now that Thirteen was back to active duty after the USJ
"Well after training with miss Rumi and the sports festival I decided I want to learn martial arts. The only other hero I got in that was one of your agency heroes" Ochako explained
"Really? which one?" Naruto asked not knowing one of his agency heros were looking to take in an intern
"The sunshine of youth hero. Green Lotus" ochako said
"…Ochako you should really take that offer" Naruto said after a moment of silence
"Really? I haven't heard of him is he good at martial arts?" Ochako asked curiously
"In a straight up fight without quirks he kicked my ass" Naruto admitted "I only ever beat him when quirks were involved"
This got silence from the entire class all of them looking surprised at this information
"Green lotus is a little unorthodox but he's definitely a good teacher. A week with him and he will turn you into the Black Widow" Naruto said with a chuckle
Ochako was silent before she took that internship offer. That was exactly what she needed.
"You extra's can keep those weaklings as teachers. I'm going with Best Jeanist" Bakugo said
Naruto paused at this and said nothing
"Gahahahahahaha! Be sure to get him to send footage of what he does to him prince!" Kuramamentally begged Naruto
"Alright who else?" Naruto asked his class curios who else had decided
"I'm taking Midnight-Sensei's offer" Mina said as she smiled at Nemuri who smiled back
"... I shall pray for Izuku's survival" Naruto deadpanned as Izuku blushed
"I also sent an offer to Toga" Nemuri said with a smile
"... kid you may want to overlook your will again" Naruto told Izuku who froze and shuddered
"Ok everyone of you have made your decisions you can pass your forms up here" Naruto said gesturing to the desk
After everyone had turned in their paperwork Naruto looked over them and paused as he saw Iida's "Hosu city…where the hero killer was last seen." Naruto thought as that was a huge red flag
"That kid is looking for a fight" Kuramasaid with a hard tone
'Not on my watch. I can't stop him as I have no actual proof but Nezu needs to be informed.' Naruto said as he got up immediately with Iida's paper. He was not gonna let his student get killed for a shot at vengeance. No way in hell.
