"SQUELCH"
The sound of impact left me astonished.
An entire arm of the nomu had come off after two miniature golden dragons had made impact with its arm.
"Wow." I truly didn't know it would be that strong.
Not all of them hit of course but with the amount that did... there was just holes in the giant beast now as it was sent sailing towards the ground with huge impact creating a round crater in the spot that it landed.
Now.
Momentum was pulling me downwards with the sword in my right hand.
Knowing the threat in front of me and seeing it's capabilities from earlier, the best thing for me to do was to make sure it doesn't get up again.
That would be fine right?
It's not like it's human. It's literally a monster. I can't get in trouble for taking care of it. For killing it, when it is trying to kill me and many other students.
It's already killed people. And heroes are killing it.
So... I clutched the short katana in my hand with a deathly grip and as I was feet away from it still airborn I landed.
Landed with great force on it's chest.
And I aggressively and blankly pierced through it's skull and brain.

'I'm so weak.'
'I'm such a coward.'
More and more negative thoughts like these floated through the head of Momo Yaoyorozu.
'I didn't want to leave him.'
She had been sitting in a building with citizens heroes and some people from the second hero class who had been nice enough to lead her to where they were in the group.
"Yaoyorozu, I've come to see if you wanted something to drink." The girl who asked was someone with shoulder length black hair and kind of gave Yaoyorozu the same vibes as Uraraka, her name was Yui Kodai.
"There was a lot of water found in this building." she finished off kindly.
"Yes please. Thank you." Yaoyorozu grabbed the bottle and unscrewed the cap and took a sip only to finish and discover that Yui had decided to take a seat right next to her.
"So, what's been bothering you?" Yui asked.
Yaoyorozu was a little taken aback so there was actually no response first.
"Well I know that this attack on the school is obviously one of them like it is for the rest of us. But... sorry if I'm assuming too much but it seems like there's more to it."
Yaoyorozu pushed her hair back as it was now out of it's usual style of a high ponytail.
"Well thank you for asking..." she started off.
She then listed off her meeting with her classmate Kairo Yoshimura and how their meeting ended.
Yui was shocked and looked really bewildered by what she had just heard.
She didn't think someone their age would be out there actually looking to fight and would instead be trying to hide or look for help.
Yui didn't really know what to say or do, so she tried to think of what someone else in her class would do to comfort the girl beside her. Itsuka Kendo.
The class president was close with everyone and knew how to interact with them and make them feel better.
"Yaoyorozu." she watched as the girl lifted her head in her direction. "Even though I don't know Yoshimura personally. I think he'll come back alive and I think now that the barriers gone more heroes will come and get us out of this situation. So just have hope that everything will turn out okay."
The gleaming smile that had slowly made its way onto Yaayorozu's face had made Yui slightly go red. She wasn't used to speaking to people in the way she had just spoke to Yaoyorozu.
The next thing she felt was her hand being held by the taller girl. "Thank you Kodai. You're words definitely helped alleviate my thoughts."
"Anytime--"
'Boom'
'Boom'
'Boom'
Earth shattering explosions were now felt.
Loud crashings that were shaking up buildings and causing the citizens to shriek in fear were heard and stirring up the atmosphere.
Shelves and other machines in the building had been lifted off the ground and smashed against walls with plenty of other objects flying across the room with some people tripping over.
Yui only took a brief look at the people before turning to find Yaoyorozu gone out one of the exits as the explosions had started to slow down in frequency and stop.
Without much thought or reaction she had ran after her.
"Yaoyorozu!" She was only a few feet behind the taller girl who had slowed down to a stop when she heard her name called. "Do you know what that was?" Yui asked.
"No.." Yaoyorozu blinked through the air of dust moving around the air and coughed slightly. "But Kairo was around the area where the explosions obviously hit."
She along with Yui took a look at the ground surrounding them. There were multiple holes, no craters scattered across the land all leading up to a place below them closer to the inward part of the stadium.
"Look!" Yui shouted and pointed in a direction where she could see a figure.
Yaoyorozu instantly knew who it was. "That's Kairo." she and Yui had both made their move onwards to her classmate.
'He's alive.'
Yaoyorozu's thoughts were muddled.
She hadn't even thought of how Bakugou was. Was he alive? She didn't want to think the worst. But the pool of blood that she had seen would rushingly bring up a disgusting amount of bile that she would just force herself to swallow down.
Something she couldn't keep down once she seen Kairo standing on top of the corpse of a nomu.
The corpse was missing parts of itself. A bloody and bruised stump was where its right arm should have been. One of it's legs was broken and cracked upwards. And the amount of holes in it's body.
And to top it off, a sword, her sword that she had made for Kairo at his behest was forced through the skull of the nomu and the rest of the sword could be seen gone through it's head, and with the slight glimpse she got she could see the blood and what she believed was brain matter.
The sword snapped when he tried to pull it out which now made the handle look bigger than the steel.
As the sword broke Momo let everything out.
She could feel tears flowing from her eyes and the sickly vomit didn't stop forcing it's way out of her mouth.
Eating the right amount of nutrients was useful for her quirk but she could now see the food she earlier digested flowing out in bits from her mouth through her blurry eyes.
The whole world was spinning. Her ears were ringing, and she wasn't taking in anything that was being directed at her.
Apart from the light shaking she could feel from behind her, all she could truly feel was disgust and futility before her whole world went black.

Oh shit.
The young boy who had dropped the broken weapon had lost the previous look he had. He didn't even have the usual serious or annoyed look that he usually had with his classmates.
Instead, his face carried a look of melancholy and fatigue.
I messed up again.

"Damn you 'League of Villains'" All might stood idle after taking care of the final nomu that were attacking.
Some were taken down using extra force. Something his associate Endeavour had used from the beginning.
Many of the nomu were just corpses that were charred and burned up from his power.
Unfortunately the original two villains that they were fighting had escaped.
All Might was not like he was in his prime. With the lack of his quirk that made things even harder. The deep breaths of heaving could be seen and was acknowledged by his hero acquaintance.
"You seriously can't already be tired All Might?" Endeavour asked in a mocking tone.
"Well I am getting older my friend." All Might chided back.
The flame hero scoffed and went on to tell him that his sidekicks from his agency have already started a hunt for the two villains that initially attacked and that all the nomu have been beaten.
Some restrained and some killed.
Since they didn't count as humans there was no repercussion for "Pro heroes" who dealt with them or for those with a hero licence.
"Although. One of your students has been arrested and escorted of the premises." Endeavour said while plopping his phone in one of the compartments of his costume.
"WHAT!" All Might was shocked at what he had heard.
His mind went through who it may have been. Since Midoriya was in the building after his match he excluded him and even Bakugou who his mind did go to first unintentionally.
And he didn't expect Todoroki, especially since the hero in front of him didn't mention it.
Endeavours phone came back out as All Might was lost in thought.
"Look!" he yelled out as he threw his phone at him to catch.
There was a video playing on it which had shown someone he didn't expect. Kairo Yoshimura.
The young and quiet boy was standing over the corpse of a figure that looked like a nomu but with how the video was portrayed, maybe the angle or maybe through some modernized editing, the body looked more like that of a large human. Someone of his size.
The video then cut to showing him in cuffs and being taken to a police car with some people crowding behind him or around the car yelling at the officers something All Might couldn't understand because of the video sound being silenced.
All Might couldn't believe it. The quiet boy who sits near the back of class, sometimes he goes completely unnoticeable. Probably would be if it weren't for his quirk. He truly didn't know much about the boy or any of his student's since he has been spending more time with Midoriya.
"There isn't much to worry about." Endeavour said breaking the number 1 hero out of his thoughts. "From the information I asked about him, he seems to have ties with the commission so he'll be released soon. And these things aren't human anymore so he shouldn't have to feel bad for putting them out of their misery."
All Might would like to think that Endeavour was genuinely thinking about the boy and how he may be feeling, but he didn't really know what to think.
'The commission.'
That was right. Something that had completely slipped All Might's mind. Kairo was from the commission. Well not in the same way as a hero like Hawks but more like Mirko who received funding from them for her hero studies before she became a full time hero.
All Might nodded his head at Endeavour and he decided that with the last of his strength he will go and have a quick check around the area to make sure that everyone is okay and rush whoever is injured to a doctor.

Akari Enshiro was not having a good evening.
With the chaos that had ensued at the number 1 most prestigious school for heroes in their nation the news afterwards came with it.
And what was worse were the videos of his sponsor that had made its way on to the internet. It was a bad look for him and may be bad for the boys future.
That also included his immediate future since the commission has already started receiving calls asking for their hand in removing him from U.A.
Akari wondered if the little rodent was also receiving these same messages. He hoped he was also suffering.
"I don't want my daughter going to the same school as a murderer."
"He's a risk to the students."
"That boy will only bring trouble."
These were all statements brought forth by worried parents, some with more malice in their heart which Akari had clearly noticed the hidden intent in the last statement made by an angry woman who wanted the boy expelled from the school. He wasn't even sure if the woman had a child in the school as she kept avoiding the question.
And a main theme with the callers were that the majority were not parents of any children in the hero course with very few exceptions.
He pulled out a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it making sure to take a long drag from it before exhaling and calming his nerves a little from the anger as well as slight agitation he was feeling.
He would never smoke in his office but he felt like this event called for it, With the windows cracked open.
"Knock." "Knock."
The door was then opened with one man in a standard black suit and glasses opening the door to only move out of the way and allow the person behind him to enter the room before he closed the door after him and left.
A short sigh had come out of the mouth of the newcomer.
"So." Akari started while putting the light out on the cigarette and putting it away. "How was your little trip to the station?" he asked in an annoyed tone that couldn't fully hide his concern.
The boy didn't answer. Only giving a shrug of his shoulders while having a pissed off expression on his face.
The boy... Kairo then asked his own question. "Will I be expelled?"
"Can't say." Akari answered. "That's a decision made by your school. Although I don't think you should worry about that,"
"The situation called for it." Kairo finished.
"Exactly." Akari said. Even though Kairo wasn't a member of the commission in the same way Hawks was he still was put tough training.
Training of real life scenarios. Watching videos that were either acted out or shown with real life clips of a heroes failures in situations that may have called for extreme force. Or when a situation called for non-lethal action.
They would make him come up with completely different ways to deal with different villain situations, whether that be hostage situations, direct assaults or many more. And he's have to come up with a lot more than just one way to take them down.
It was a way Akari thought would keep his brain active and always thinking of the next step.
"The situation is bad for now but it will blow over soon enough anyway." Akari told the boy who was looking at the windows that were still open.
It was near midnight and the boy was in a plain black tracksuit instead of his U.A. uniform which was most likely of better quality than what he was wearing now.
Akari gave a signal to Kairo to go ahead and close them.
"All Might will give a public speech tomorrow. And we have prepared a speech for you to go out in written form." Kairo was still a minor so he didn't actually have to show his face or even give a speech.
The boy shifted around uncomfortably and seemed to want to... to. Oh how to explain it.
Lash put maybe. Akari put his right hand behind his head and his head was looking downwards slightly as he didn't feel comfortable looking at the boy now.
Ever since he knew him. Ever since the boy had made the call about his uncle that he had found deceased. He has never lashed out, never cried, never actually got angry.
Never acted like a kid.
Just a blank slate.
One that half of the commission wanted to mold into whatever they believed would be the next All Might. Someone they had complete control over.
Those thoughts had only subsided as the president got a bit more involved and changing certain rules in the place. She was the one who had changed his schedule and got him to have the same lunch times as some of the other kids hoping that he would open up a bit more to them only for one to actually go up to him and start talking.
Haruka Kurogane.
There was nothing special about that child. Some just thought she was weird since she was so extroverted even though she just went through her own tragedy.
But her along with a few training sessions with Hawks got the boy to at least speak more than just answering what was directed at him as well as show more emotion, even if a lot of it was more irritation or sometimes glimpses of sadness that would appear whenever he was left alone.
Akira could literally count the amount of times he has seen Kairo smile on his hand.
And he could tell that there wouldn't be one on his face anytime soon.
Hope you enjoy.
