Thank you for the reviews. I know I haven't written in a while, but I've been busy, so please bear with me.

3rdStreetGang: You'll just have to see later on, whether or not it'll trigger Spinelli. I haven't fully decided yet. But if you're looking for a story with a happy ending, then there is one in 'Once an Ashley, always an Ashley'.

Storytime: I'm glad you enjoyed. As far as Spinelli getting pink goes, I haven't decided anything yet, if it's temporary or permanent. You'll just have to keep reading to figure it out.

Gdog: Ah yes, it's very convenient how they're all in the same homeroom together. There is potential for them getting into trouble, but Ashley S will want to stay clear of it. The issue of the bathroom won't be a problem once they eventually move into a bigger house.

Now onto the chapter

Chapter 21: a long-awaited reunion

Class was eventually over, and everyone was going to find their lockers, including Spinelli. Her locker wasn't really near the other Ashleys', which she felt sad about. Her whole summer could have been incredibly boring, had it not been for Ashley A.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang had finally gotten out of their shock when they started talking. The day before, T.J had informed the others about the news regarding Spinelli and Ashley

She was deep in her thoughts when her locker door was slammed in. She looked to see who it was and saw T.J standing there.

"Oh T.J, how are you. How was your summer. Mine was fabulous."

"Right now, I'm not interested in discussing my summer. I'm more interested in your summer. Like what are you wearing. Why do look like that. Why didn't you return any of the letters or emails that me or the others sent to you? Why did I have to find out from your mom that you and Ashley A are suddenly inseparable."

"You know what T.J, I really don't have time now. We have to get to class."

"Fine then. Kelso's after school. I demand answers, and so does the others." Kelso had over the last two years, expanded his shop, so that it would be a diner as well.

"Okay fine. I will, like, see you after school, but I will answer one of your questions with one of my own."

"Fine."

"Like, what did you mean by what am I wearing, or why I look like that."

"I mean, you hate all things girly, and you look like an Ashley."

"Because I am an Ashley"

Before T.J could respond, him and Spinelli were interrupted by Ashley A, who then spoke to Spinelli, while ignoring T.J.

"Okay, so, like, I was putting my books in my lockers, and I came up with a fabulous ide." She looked over to T.J with disdain, who looked back at her with annoyance. She was interrupting their conversation.

She had briefly overhead the conversation but figured that she had to step in before Detweiler ruined her hard work, by turning Ashley S into a hooligan again. She then started talking and said "Ashley S, let's get going. We, like, don't want to be late for class."

"You're right." She said, before she agreed to meet T.J after school."

While they were walking, Spinelli started talking. "So, like, what was that idea you had."

"Oh right. Well, I, like, figured that the five of us should, like, get lockers right next to one another. You and the others should, like, switch with the people who have lockers next to mine." In truth, she just wanted to always keep an eye on Ashley S, to make sure the brunette would not fall back into old habits. She was finally the Ashley that she was always destined to be but had denied for so long.

"Fabulous idea."

"Right, and this way, we can all, like, talk at our lockers."

"Scandalous" The two scream in unison, just enough so that T.J could see it. Spinelli being an Ashley just made no sense to him. Yet here she was in school, acting like an Ashley clone. He was going to get to the bottom of it, after school.

When they were long away from T.J, Ashley A asked Spinelli. "So, like, what did Detweiler want."

"Oh him. He, like, just wanted some answers about this summer."

"About what."

"Like, why you and I are close, why I dress and look the way I do, and why I haven't been returning any of his emails or letters or post cards."

"So then, like, what did you tell him."

"That I was going to class, and that I would talk to him later, so he insisted that we meet at Kelso's."

"Ugh, and you, like agreed?"

"Well totes. Otherwise, he would just continue to bug me. I, like, might as well let him know that I'm an Ashley now."

"Right of course, because you, like, made a vow to always be an Ashley."

"Don't you, like, worry A. I, like, know I took a vow, and I'm happy about it. Besides, my mom, like, totally told me that if I kept up this behavior, then I would, like, get my own cell phone."

"Ooh scandalous." Ashley A said, as they walked towards the lockers close to Ashley A's. Guess she'd have to go to Kelso's, just to make sure that Detweiler and his gang of hooligans didn't ruin Ashely S. Detweiler just needed to get it through his thick skull that Spinelli was no more, and in her place was Ashley S. The true embodiment of an Ashley.

It was easy convincing the other 7th graders that they needed to switch with the other Ashleys'. All it took was some money, but the money was worth it, and the Ashleys all had lockers in the same area, with Ashley B, T and Q right next to each other, and Ashley S right next to Ashley A, so that Ashley A could always keep an eye on Ashley S, during breaks.

School eventually ended, and Spinelli walked to Kelso's, to meet with T.J. She figured that she might as well talk to him, to let him know everything, to get him to leave her alone.

When she walked in, she saw him sitting in a booth, along with Gretchen, Vince, Gus, and Mikey. Ashley A was sitting a bit away, just enough to not let T.J see her.

Spinelli started speaking as soon as she saw everyone. "I see the whole cavalry is here. I thought it'd be just the two of us."

"They're your friends too, and they deserve answers just as much as I do." T.J said getting annoyed. Before Spinelli had arrived, the others had agreed that T.J would carry the words.

"Fine, whatever. I guess I'll order something while we talk." The brunette said.

"Oh, we already ordered for you." T.J said, as the server gave them the orders. Spinelli could see that T.J had ordered a Sunday for her, to which she replied. "I think I'll pass."

"But this is what you always order."

"Well not anymore." Spinelli said, before looking at the server, and said, "I'll have an iced tea instead."

"Well, if she's not eating the Sunday, then I'll eat it for her instead" Mikey said, as he took the ice cream.

"Okay that's it, Spinelli. We demand answers, and I demand them now." T.J. was getting impatient with the girl who was now behaving just like an Ashley."

"Okay fine, I guess I can answer your questions now that I'm here." Spinelli said.

"I think what T.J means is, what happened over the summer, to make you change so much." Vince said.

"Oh well, nothing much. I had an amazing summer."

"Well how about you start from the beginning. What happened after you broke your leg."

"Well, like, Ashley A was, like, nice enough to let me stay with here while I recovered from my broken leg, while my parents were on the vacation we were supposed to be on together."

"Wait, all summer?" Gus then chimed in.

"Well not at first. But we managed to get along so well, so my parents totes expanded my stay there, and it went from being the first 6 weeks, until the end of summer."

"Well, I guess that explains why you never responded to our emails or letters."

"I mean you guys all went away, and Ashley A was the only who actually wanted to take care of me."

"That's not true. We would have all taken care of you, but we had other plans." T.J said.

"My point exactly. Ashley A, like, totally took care of me, and we totally bonded."

"And that's why you talk like her, and why your mom told me that you two had become inseparable." T.J said.

"If course, and she totally helped me gain some real style, and helped bring out my inner Ashley."

"Wait, what does that mean." T.J asked.

"Like, what do you think it means. It, like, totally means that I'm an Ashley now."

"What." The others screamed in union.

"You, like, heard me. I'm an Ashley now. Look, I even my own A necklace." Spinelli said, showing them her necklace.

"But Spinelli." T.J said.

"Call me by name. Call me Ashley S. not Spinelli. I'm not Spinelli. I'm Ashley Spinelli, Ashley S, Ashley or miss Spinelli. Oh, and btw, I'm an Ashley now, so leave me alone."

Ashely A then showed up at the booth and started talking. "Ugh, Ashley S, are they bothering you."

"I was just leaving. They were getting annoying." Spinelli told Ashley A, as the two walked away, but not before screaming, "Scandalous." Just enough to drive home the fact that she was now an Ashley.

Next up: Four of the Ashleys scheme to separate the gang, while the gang complement what's going on with Spinelli.

So, that was it for chapter 21. Hope you all enjoyed it.
